Hi Coinlab,

Is there anyway you can publish the blocks that you find to a page on your site. Similar to:

https://www.btcguild.com/block_list.php

This would go a long way to keeping your service transparent and in the "known" mining space.

Thanks,
James

It's not like the data is easy to get, either.

From my point of view, I can't include Coinlab in the weekly pool stats unless I have some sort of simple aggregated pool statistic available on the site. Hammering blockchain.info every week for details of approx a thousand blocks would not endear me to them. Especially if my wifi fails and I have to start again.

fair enough, my comment was really directed at coinlab about not private... the only reason I seen that is because i think i found the block for them.... literally 1 hour before I was to switch to solo Smiley

Hi organofcorti,

I've have asked kinlo to update http://blockorigin.pfoe.be/ with the information jimbit provided and he has finished. You can now see coinlab's stats on his site. Looks like they've found 32 blocks out of the last 2016 making them 1.6% of the network.

Best,
James

Thanks James.  It's a good start to enable prospective new miners to get a general idea of the pool hashrate.

Unfortunately at 1.6% of network blocks the hashrate estimation is going to be very inaccurate so I couldn't them based on those stats. Also, the weekly stats are based on one week's worth of solved blocks, hence the need for a block history csv. Kinlo's are based on the last 2016 rounds, so I can't use them even if the percentage of network blocks was higher.

blockorigin.pfoe.be is an important and well used resource so there's no need duplicate the data unless I can add to it  - which I can't. Maybe later.

Thanks for the heads up though, and thanks for helping out fellow miners.

Hey Miners,

We use Blockchain.info's wallet to pay out our miners, and today's service outages have slowed down payouts significantly.  Because of this, it looks like we wont be able to get through all of the payouts tonight.

If you're expecting a payout and don't see it tonight, expect it tomorrow morning.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Chris

With the recent bad news of bASIC Im looking for some good news to bring me up. Any good news here with the HPC work/client? Or with anything?

Ive been trying to decide if I want to start using my loyalty points or not. Im still profitable without, maybe I'll wait and see what Avalon pushes out this week, if anything.

I'm curious about the HPC software too, but this Monday's payout still being delinquent concerns me.  If they are a true, legitimate business, then they need sort out their process flow and organize their business if they are going to survive.

Yeah, given the speed at which a new price bubble seems to be developing, I want to get and sell my coins as quickly as possible...  Undecided

Judging from the leaderboard, there are only a handful of miners that are even due a payment.

Ive been holding out till ASICs are released. I still have about 3 months worth of points I can use.
