Experiencecoin compiling issues.ONLY TAKE THESE STEPS IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUES COMPILING!
The GitHub now has a new branch called "
bdb51" setup.
To use this branch take the following steps:
git clone https://github.com/experiencecoin/experiencecoin.git
Now you will be on the Berkeley DB5.1 branch, which will hopefully work now.
If you don't use Git, you can download the source ZIP here https://github.com/experiencecoin/experiencecoin/archive/bdb51.zipA reason we stick with BDB 5.3, which is what our current main wallets are, is that the latest version of Ubuntu no longer includes 5.1, so it'll be easier for users in the future to compile with 5.3 than 5.1.
