Prism Crowdsale

First open Alpha release of the “PrismChain — Blockchain Environment” is scheduled for mid of May 2016. In the meanwhile to boost the development of PRISM we will run a public Crowdsale to collect fund for PRISM network sustain.

To accomplish with the crowdsale and start the PRISM community we are creating a cryptocurrency token (PRM), fully functional, based on uᴉoɔʇᴉq technology PoS, which will serve as virtual commodity for investors. Owning the PRM token currency guarantees right of claim on future release of PRISM alpha and its own coins (XPRM).

PRM tokens will be released as a fully working cryptocurrency based technology, so this means that this will be tradable on exchanges prior to PRISMCHAIN alpha launch. Exchanging tokens allows also a price defining process while we approach the PRISMCHAIN alpha release. Live PRM token also gives PRISM project more visibility inside the cryptocurrency world.
Once we finish the Crowdsale we will distribute all PRISM tokens (PRM) and you will be able to fully use them on a “standard” blockchain system, while the scheduled alpha version of PRISM chain will go live.

When alpha release of PRISM will be launched in May 2016, an amount of Prism (XPRM) will be created and distributed among the PRM tokens holders.
More detailed informations and tutorials on how to accomplish with this transition process will be posted when needed.

The currency that will power the PRISMCHAIN network is a coin called Prism (XPRM). All actions taken on the network require XRPM to process, such deploying Dapps, transactions etc.

You will be exclusively able to get XPRM both owning PRM tokens issued with Crowdsale or mine some when alpha launch will happen, in May 2016.

Later on there will be several different ways to get XRPM. Users can discover bounties on the PRISM community forum which payout XRPM. It’s also possible to participate in competitions and giveaways within the community. Otherwise, XRPM will be available on various cryptocurrency exchanges, after launch (but we cannot guarantee that you will be able to buy XRPM at same cheap price of the Crowdsale tokens).



Specifications for PRM token Crowdsale:

PRISM crowdsale starts on: 14 March 2016
PRISM crowdsale ends on: 10 April 2016

28500000 PRM tokens (28.5 M) as initial crowdsale supply for public investment.

Price per PRM: 0.0000175 BTC each

Total Crowdsale Goal: 500 BTC circa (498.75)

Crowdsale fund destination: 75% Development, 10% Marketing and Community Support, 5% Developers funding for initial network sustain and processes, 10 % Legal Contingency Fund

PRM tokens are based on PoS system with a fixed rate of 1% yearly, so holders are incentivised to vault their funds and receive PoS rewards instead of selling them in the brief period until PRISM alpha launches.

Seems that new gen coin ICOs are going strong this year. At least in 2016 we are seeing a good ROI from ICOs, such ETH and i hope Lisk too. ::)

Dev, you seems genuine and after reading the specs of Prism crowdsale i can affirm that suppy/price ratio is really competitive compared to Lisk! :) This is very good cause in my point of view both ETH and Lisk have too many coins supply...i like Prism having 30 Millions only @ 0.0000175 BTC ...we have a big margin of profit there even if Prism get only 30% of the ETH market cap.

I'm watching this carefully, maybe is time to invest some of my ETH earnings..i was called stupid when invested 8 months ago half of my BTC into ETH. Now they call me rich.

I'm not a brand new, in example, surely involved in crypto before many of you all. I can say lot of anonymous ICO went fine in the past, Bitcoin is based on anonimity, and a lot of "named and certified by cryptololasian" scammed. So there is no logic link between "anon" ---> scam , or whatever.
I like to judge based on facts and not on my own supposition.

I see from their twitter account that they have many GOOOd followers already..i won't imagine if this is going to grow at same rate of these hours what it will be..

Hi! when will be available some pre-alpha version of users client with DAPP creating function? Do you plan this during crowdsale? You see, i haven't trust to empty words without some proof. Anyway, such serious and ambitious project is simply obliged to to show his face of TEAM - with photo, biography, promo video (like Buterin or Slock.it doing this in their's way) Also i'd like to hear some ROADMAP and comparative advantages of this project.

pre-alpha version of PRISMCHAIN wallet with Dapps, coding suite and many testing tool will be available after the end of crowdsale but before the scheduled release of XPRM in mid of may 2016 so to test and debug larger network issues which could arise. Our developers published a tech papaer explaining some of the techniques and concepts/practices they applied into PRISM core. I invite you to give a read on the official Blog, and in the event you're not a techy user, skip the middle part until you can find the contracts examples. This is still an early version of technology implemented into Prism and developers still have to upload the TLB (triple layer blockchain) paper to describe it properly.

I understand, being an investor myself of other currencies such ETH from the early days, your concernings but i can ensure that every information about Prism, his team, his development and its progresses will be published during this early days so that investors could take more confidence with our project.

First answer is Yes, you're correct, investing at least 0.5 BTC before than day 4 (17th march) you will be rewarded with 15K $PRM tokens as early investor.


Final conversion details are not yet to be revealed.
Anyway i can disclose an approx estimate based on latest talk with core devs

PRM tokens will be exchanged to XPRM within a range of a 1:1 Ratio and 0.8:1 Ratio. No more than that.

The point that will be crucial for this is how long the mining for XPRM will be. This information will be revelead later, but i can ensure the exchange ratio will not override this range.

XPRM will have limited PoW to avoid high deflation of value.

PrismChain launch is set for mid of May 2016 but we aim to end up the PRM --> XPRM conversion exchange near the first days of June so that the process will be gradually adaptive and every PRM token holder will have enough time to being informed of the switch to XPRM and act consequently.

About the codebase we took many parts from ETH core but we implemented a lot of features and changes. In example we use different coding languages, we will focus to offer less languages compiled wallets than ETH but with higher user friendliness level of the interface.§

Althought all the bad words thrown against prism I'm  confident that Prism could head to a successful endpoint. I've read about the mistake they did and it wouldn't have had so much echoes without the multiple trolling assult to the thread. If the total amount goal of the crowdsale (498.75 BTC) is not reached we will launch Prism however and we will burn into an unspendable address the remaining unsold coins. I have lost BTC to far more polished and believable outfits - so the onus is on them to get some trust.

When you fund our project via the payment gateway you are required to insert an email address. As explained in Terms and Details of the Crowdsale that is required because you will receive the wallet file to your email, so that you can import the presale into your own wallet.

When you make a purchse you also receive a ID for the transaction that you must write down in case of some problems arise.

Are Bitcons received from "pre-sale" different from Bitcoins received from "post-Crowdsale"? By the way the terms are confusing too: what you run now you call "pre-sale", the second part is called "post-crowdsale", so question arises - is there a real "crowdsale" in between of them? :)

About the misunderstanding of the "presale" and "crowdsale" terms use i want to clarify this saying the both the terms are used as synonyms.
I apologise if that could be misleading but the logic of it it's that a Crowdsale happening actually before the launch is a presale too :).

About the crowdsale address i already explained that currently, and for all the crowdsale length, all the investors purchases are made through different addresses since this is how the payment gateway works. We do not have control on this. When crowdsale ends all the funds will be transferred to designated escrow, so that funds will be escrowed until we meet the terms of funds release as scheduled (i.e. 4 days of blockchain functionality and safety.) After funds are back to developers they will be stored in a multisig wallet as described in the terms of crowdsale on our blog post.

PRISM uses the ETH codebase plus some great features added which are unique.

Does the platform include smart contract?

Yes it does. More info about it will be disclosed later on.

How long have the developers been working on this sole project?

Actually 3/4 months an still working hard.

How many developers are there in total working on this project?

We have 1 main developer, as written in the team description in our blog. Anyway part of the funds will be used to hire more developers during PRISM's life.

Where is the development team based?

We're based in the Uk, but we have life and job experience matured all over Europe.

Are you using any reputable escrow provider to secure the crowdsale?

Since this is a new coin there can be situations when the price will absolutely sag down and at that time escrow will rescue the funds to the initial buy holders.

Unfortunately market speculations are not depending from the dev team itself, so the exchange price of the coin won't be a valid refund requirement for investors.

All the infos about escrow have been already discussed in some of the posts before, please roll back and give a read.

Funds will be refunded only if the terms of crowdsale are not met as explained in our blog post about it.

When you see the QR code with the BTC address just look below it and you find a link "Pay with alts". Click on it and it will go through Shapeshift payment gateway.

So i've made a deposit and it's confirmed, is there anyway to see how much I'll receive, no email confirmations of your payment received etc?

Hi, we will update the website with a confirmation page for every purchase, apologise if  no precise information resume is given after payment completed at the moment.

Anyway to calculate the amount of PRM you will receive you just need to divide the amount of BTC sent for the price/coin of PRM (0.0000175). In example if you sent 0.1 BTC you will receive : 0.1 / 0.0000175 = 5714,28 PRM tokens.

I've read the entire thread and also the other one that accuses this project of scam. Unfortunately, i have to conclude that the risk of investing in this project is too high. It is not worth throwing even a penny at this.  :(

To be frank with you, although we feel little risky, in point of ROI, your ICO early birds proposal come to little attention to us.

We have enough budget for about 10 successful start up companies for each 200 Bitcoins and those are fixed. However, recent Japanese Yen appreciation made us few hundreds extra Bitcoins to go.

If you can, let us know your product road map and who is your CEO. As far as we see your web site, no photo there. hope to more info soon.

I did not know the meaning of escrow but I see briefly with google.
This escrow scheme is good if the one who can trust is who we know, any-other is not safe enough for us.

By the way, my point is, PRISM team is now very far that they can not differentiate advantage in point of technology, we wanted to evaluate with thier road map. but sounds not disclose-able until they get 500BTC. we also wanted an image of how well experienced/professional to crypto sociate they are, but  sounds also can not be disclosed until they get 500BTC.

So, the order came to me to ask Mr. Rick. How speedy he can disclose what all we would like to know.

Nice, looks like the total is upto 73 BTC now.  What happens to the unsold tokens, do they get destroyed?

Yes the actual plan is to destroy unsold tokens and make unspendable.

A better solution is that we will update the total supply on the code based on the final amount of tokens sold, so that no coins will exist over the exact amount of coins effectively sold.
We also know that a good way to distribute the coin would be split the unsold coins through actual investors. This will reward more our supporters to thanks for the trust.

Agreed. Burning coins will lower the coin supply that is already at "low levels" of 30 millions. With a good price of around 10k x PRM, PRISM can get a decent market cap and so attract a lot of new investors and users. (in invested some here so i would like to have this kind of distribution of course :D :D )

P.S. some users got their posts deleted with no chance of appeal cause they made spam and fud on our official thread for too many times with a clear and proper aim to destroy our project (cause , seems so, they are scared from competition). We asked them many and many times to stop this kind of harassment but since they didn't agree we had to swap on a zero tolerance policy for them. People who wants to participate in this thread discussion with a civil and educated manner can have no fears of getting their own posts deleted.

That's exactly why we delete this kind of trolls/fud/miseducated posts.
