Don't justify one project just based on the forum level of Dev, you will be compunctious once day. What we can see up to now for this project is a good idea, a beautiful and well organised introduction but It seems impossible for the roadmap to be done with a fund of less than 25btc in a near future.

I would say people that have seen steemit potential are getting exited about this one.

But the thing with steemit is that the platform is controlled by only a small bunch of people and this for way too long now, look at the price it's falling and will keep going just like I predicted. People are rushing to cash out as much as they can, steemit won't die but the price will still take a heavy hit and keep going.

The problem with steemit is, they think by giving tens of thousands to more or less popular people that it will bring value to the platform. One of the mistake they made was to say the platform will stay ad-free. They could have easily brought in ads and thrown the revenue into their market to support people cashing out.

so far I like what I see from waycoin dev, let's see were we go from there.

Here's a few details regarding the upcoming WayToken system, testing, etc.:

- Token Owner will be able to make a deposit using his tokens, and earn a share from each transaction inside the platform boundaries. We'll provide the detailed overview of the WayToken reward system right before the MVP launch (I must stress the following aspect: we won't utilize and apply the overpowered inflation (unlike Steem)). Reward amount will also scale with the number of T.Owner's followers, the term of deposit, etc.

- Token Owners will be able to use the Tokens as plain Coin - as a reward tool for content' author, for example.

- WayCoin will be used as a payment method to purchase Tokens, along with the BTC.

- Token system will be tested beforehand using standard Test Token Network.

This coin really have heavy buy support at 29 sats which is + 4 sats from the ico, i am buying more and i hope it all turns out good.

Great bullish trend for WAY. Long now is best option. Next test price will be 44sat.

Interesting coin I bought into the ICO as I normally do with all coins(who knows one of these could be the next ETH or XMR), hopefully we have something special here, were already up like 5-10 satoshis from what I can see on Yobit.  Only time will tell.

Me too. I'm holding WAY for long. I changed opinion on WAY when seeing its bright future.

I think we could push it to bittrex, volume is pretty decent on yobit already.

Pushing it to bittrex or not is based on Dev. It's hard for Dev to spend 5btc to apply for adding WAY to bittrex when he just collected 12.5btc.
Roadmap for Way has to be done then It's easy to be added to Bittrex or Poloniex. It should have a good userbase before added to good exchanges.

The situation could be changed if whales who are holding a lot of WAY and achieving enough profit from buying WAY at ICO price pay that amount of money for adding WAY to bittrex. They will benefit again when WAY's price pumps there.

I'm thinking that dev bought almost the whole ICO, now he's making fake with 3btc worth in WAY to keep volume UP. he sets those buywall above ico price, to avoid people to dump over the wall, making them think that the coin is well supported. Tomorrow when the wall will be removed, even the other walls will be removed too and price will dump. Because a coin whit all those buy wall is really strange that needs fake and never rise in price.

I've seen crypto with very active dev that are total shit. Then again, I'm no expert. Amateur really  ;D
I'd say it's 50/50 (scam/success)

Here's why:
- Good launch
- Great concept
- There is a buy order for over 50 BTC
- Website is 'ok'(ish) (for a coin that has just launched it's pretty great)
- Artwork takes more effort than the few BTC dev could profit from ICO
- Price is still fair (low)
- Wallet works as it should
- Dev still has till the end of the week to keep that promise  8) (and even if it's next week, it's not unusual in crypto)


Of course I'm a naive and impulsive buyer and bagholder. Not cynical and impatient like most here  8)

Currently, negotiations with the Travel operators, presentations, traveling around, and on-hand Programming tasks are eating away a great deal of our time. And sometimes it's just mind-bogglingly difficult to explain the concepts behind the crypto-currencies (and backing the projects with them) to Managers, Marketers, and seasoned travelers we'd like to see among our customers. Hopefully, we'll be able to overcome the general mistrust and doubts which common-folk usually associate with the crypto market, and translate the core project's values to more comprehensible format.

So once again, I urge you to be patient and don't try to outrun the train, it won't do any good either to the project and you.
- We're going to finish the initial development AND launch the WayGuide on October 2016;
- The development of more additional modules and pages is underway - including the 'Personal Profile' page, mini-dashboard with Traveler's statistics and KPI's, re-designed edit and blog modules, etc.;
- We're actively looking for (and negotiating with) active niche participants:  Travel agencies, top-notch bloggers, traveling equipment manufacturers, marketing companies, etc.

I wish I could post the updates every single day - but right now that'd be pretty ridiculous like 'Programmers wrote and QA-covered another 1000 lines of code, and I met with the two influential chaps to discuss their possible role in the WayGuide's structure.'. But I think it's just a waste of time of yours - and prefer to concentrate on things that matter at this period: programming, testing, and negotiating. And yes, I'll poke the encourage the programmers to be more active and responsive in the WayGuide's Slack channel.

It's been quite a while since we posted news regarding the WayGuide's progress, and for that, I beg your pardon.

Currently, negotiations with the Travel operators, presentations, traveling around, and on-hand Programming tasks are eating away a great deal of our time. And sometimes it's just mind-bogglingly difficult to explain the concepts behind the crypto-currencies (and backing the projects with them) to Managers, Marketers, and seasoned travelers we'd like to see among our customers. Hopefully, we'll be able to overcome the general mistrust and doubts which common-folk usually associate with the crypto market, and translate the core project's values to more comprehensible format.

So once again, I urge you to be patient and don't try to outrun the train, it won't do any good either to the project and you.
- We're going to finish the initial development AND launch the WayGuide on October 2016;
- The development of more additional modules and pages is underway - including the 'Personal Profile' page, mini-dashboard with Traveler's statistics and KPI's, re-designed edit and blog modules, etc.;
- We're actively looking for (and negotiating with) active niche participants:  Travel agencies, top-notch bloggers, traveling equipment manufacturers, marketing companies, etc.

I wish I could post the updates every single day - but right now that'd be pretty ridiculous like 'Programmers wrote and QA-covered another 1000 lines of code, and I met with the two influential chaps to discuss their possible role in the WayGuide's structure.'. But I think it's just a waste of time of yours - and prefer to concentrate on things that matter at this period: programming, testing, and negotiating. This could be interesting, note that they are planning to use IPFS for content distribution...could be innovative.

Price is way above initial ICO cost, which I am not sure if good or not. The 50 btc buy wall is suspect, is there a reason why it's there?

I would advice anyone whos looking to buy to wait until the platform is ready, this way you can see if they are legit or not.

If you end up buying and its all a scam and this 50 btc wall disapear youll regret it heavily.

Project is over, it was a scam since day 1 i had my doubts,

UBIQUOIN DEV IS THE SAME AS WAYCOIN DEV

they launch multple yobit scam of 25 btc

they buy half the coins them selves and put up heavy buy walls to sell out until their done and move on to the next scam.

it seems they done with waycoin.

so no worries at all, but now and then some update would be fine :)

I hate that the Dev and supporters lost interest it is such a clever idea. Imagine if it worked as intended and we could all have more insight into travels of people all over the world while rewarding them with coon and giving us the option to add our own travels. This kind of innovation is much needed.

I think Dev is only a scammer. He tried to make a ICO online on yobit exchange and when all bitcoins are collected for him , He run out of this project with our bitcoins . Do not Expect much more about this shit project.
