Recently Bitcoin got allot of investments, people are holding Bitcoin in wallets and expecting huge returns, but also questioning how i can use Bitcoin?
In my opinion most interesting ways to use Bitcon:

Also while we keep Bitcoins in our wallets sometimes we want more returns and we are looking where to invest Bitcoin?

Wanting more returns can burn your Bitcoin, because altcoins are copy of Bitcoin and created to scam you, just like high yield investment programs, bitcoin doublers, etc...
The concept of digital currency is created by Satoshi Nakamoto and no matter what revolutionary idea altcoins advertise they will fade away.
Bitcoin have no competitors and any altcoin idea can be implemented in Bitcoin.

Only if you are willing to analyse allot, track the news and know when the dump will come you can profit from these altcoins while they alive.
Because no matter what i will say people will invest in altcoins expecting that someone will rise like Bitcoin and they Become millionaires.
Yes we can become millionaire from altcoins, but keep mind that they will fade away and know when to get out the boat.

I understand the psychology of investors and how media effects investments and i made a profit from them.

I researched all the Altcoins and can say that Dash will win against Ethereum and possible even Bitcoin.
Dash solves problems that Bitcoin now have.

I earn a very little from the faucets. Those small amount was used for the transaction fee and for the small betting. With bitcoin right now we can do all sort of things that's possible with fiat.

Im earning bitcoin on many ways its either on trading and some on signature campaigns and sometimes i do buy sometimes small amounts of it and i save it for future use and if theres an emergency i do spent some of it because i believe bitcoin do increase its price in the future even more.

I'm new to this and I don't have a lot, but i'm waiting for the stores in my area to start accepting it. It would be ince to go out shopping with a bitcoin wallet only, no cash and no cards and every store along the way would have a BTC sign on it  :) It would be a completely new experience, like a step into the future.

More convenient to do transactions when buying digital goods like VPN/VPS/Games, more importantly there is no country/location restriction.

It would be a great initiative to use bitcoin for international travelling but at this moment bitcoin is still in beta mode so anything associated with it is classified as a risk. Currently, there are almost no merchants in my area to spend bitcoins offline so I spend, invest it online and save some in cold storage. I am sure in next few years we will have a good picture in payment infrastructure.

Altcoin are definitely a best way to grow you bitcoin.Holding bitcoin will not multiply it as bitcoin is not PoS.It value may increase but if you hold 1 btc for 10 years, you still have 1 btc.
If you invest same btc in Altcoin when they are cheap,you can grow it many times.
I have myself invested some small amount in Altcoin and mede 2x-3x profit.

What makes sense to do with Bitcoin?
Using Bitcoin makes only sense in a few situations. Using it as currency in daily situations makes no sense to me. You support the network and ecosystem and help Bitcoin to grow, but other than that it makes more sense to hold. As long as Bitcoin will keep going up in price it makes no sense to spend Bitcoin as it would be wasting money. There are exceptions. If you want to do some transactions anonymous. But monero is better suited for that. So I would prefer to use this altcoin that is not a scam as you can see. Same goes for ETH. You want to use Bitcoin because of some smart contract type needs. ETH can most likely do a better job. The advantage Bitcoin has right now is that it is wider known and better implemented, but this will change. Sending money somewhere far with low fees. Bitcoin can do that, but other altcoin can to and probably cheaper. So to conclude. You can make a lot with Bitcoin, but right know there are only a few things you need to do in Bitcoin (like pay your ransom). Bitcoin should improve, because other altcoins can do stuff too and even better.

You can lend them to gain interest and watch them grow. You can then exchange them for cash using coin base buy/sell bitcoin platform or find a trusted trader on localbitcoins.

I have topped up my mobile several times with bitcoin. My first choice is bitrefill to do this and they have comparatively very low fee. This is one of the good way to spend bitcoin in small amount if you can't spend it in your local store.

well you just mentioned travelling to another country and investment as usage of bitcoin. but there are more than that. for example there are lots of little and big services online that you can spend bitcoin at
such as buying games through so many store or the biggest one Steam.
or paying for your subscriptions such as your VPN subscription.

I use bitcoin almost for any online purpose, like top up my mobile phone, purchase domain, vps, vpn and sometimes beting. Yup bitcoin is the simplest for paying those things. However i feel regret, you know what the price is 1,145 dollars at this point and i had already spent my 3 bitcoins for those things, i actually spent them when the price was really low, well if i hadn't spent those amounts i would hold more than 3k dollars right now.

Yeah its hard to spend them offline as there are not many places that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment and in that case we need to convert them to fiat currency and then spend but holding them for future is the best thing to do to make good profits in future.

This is the question I asked to myself also after getting bored of just waiting. I told myself I want my money moving or I want to make a use of it. So I turned to gambling first which didn't worked out. Then someone introduced me to trading. Told me how to make profit out of it with just a little time to wait. I don't think that it is still possible to buy anything with bitcoins as the usage and acceptance of bitcoins is very limited especially in offline world where you do no find any place to buy anything and even there are very few online sites that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment.

This thing with altcoins is the reason why I haven't tried trading yet. Made an account in YoBit but got confused that I didn't continue. I'm somewhat risk-averse and I wouldn't want to see my bits go down the drain in one go. So I just hold to bitcoin I earn. Every now and then I cash-out but I keep that to a minimum. Its good to spend them but the best thing would be to save them for future as price will eventually go higher in coming years so the best way to make profits from them is to hold them and sell when price goes higher instead of taking risk of investing it anywhere.

Most of your suggestions seems a bit exotic, but the last one is fine: to trade Forex with bitcoin. I am doing it and has proven to be a good way to increase my coins, perhaps it is even better than trading other altcoins.

This is what each of us is doing here, we are using bitcoins to help ourselves. There is a lot of things that we can do with bitcoins, I gamble with them most of the time. I think forex and alt coin trading are not for me, I tried and much better is to gamble then to lose money from some scammers.

If you want to learn new languages or another software, you have Udemy and Lynda sellers in Digital Goods sections or you could just gamble with your bitcoins and try to make more of it. You could just hold the coins as the bitcoin value is going up. you could also start trading it or day trade it and try to gain more coins for the amount you already have.You could follow a capper and take tips from him trying to multiply your BTC. It is really tempting to travel to a place abroad with bitcoin if we have a huge amount in our stash.  I having less than 1 Bitcoin in my stash would rather trade my Bitcoin to have more of it.  Aside from that, I do convert my BTC to fiat currency whenever I need to send a remittance to my grandmother.

I have met this one merchant who accepts bitcoins for cakes and pastries. He never want to spend it because he thinks that bitcoins price will be doubled in future.. there are many many things we can buy in exchange of Bitcoins. It's literally beating Fiat in some countries.  :)

I am just doing some task to earn some bit coin for my  disposals. I really want it for my online shoppings and for my soccer betting. It is a  real ideal for good online transactions. Bit coin is a perfect e currency to keep.

Personally, I mostly just buy/accumulate and hodl bitcoins. I used to spend them more on computer equipments and parts. But now I just mostly hodl mt bitcoins and buy whatever I need with fiat. I buy some bitcoin here and there on the occasional dips and also accumulate through playing poker and sports betting on bitcoin poker and gambling sites. I don't have any experience in regular trading so I don't do much of that.

There is a lot of things to do with your bitcoins you can store it in a cold storage where you will have the same like savings account in the bank but more secure and higher return. You can also invest it in different kind of investments like ICOs,Altcoins etc. You can also buy things with your bitcoin but make sure first that the site is accepting bitcoin as a payment. There still a lot of things or way to do with your bitcoins and those are just the common ones but if you study bitcoin even further then you will discover a lot of things.

If i were you, Id be using it the same way I'm using FIAT money and I'm using btc that way right now, like for phone and internet bills, groceries and quite some extra money over the month. 

but one of more important uses would be the investment, I'm currently not in the position to be holding any but that would probably be the thing I'd be doing instead of spending it. :/

There will be a new business will open and accept BTC as a payment method for now there is many ways to use it. There are some country already use BTC for bills payment you can also buy things online using your BTC now.
I will not be surprised if this year many company will open accepting BTC as payment.

actually there are many other methods than the faucet does not need capital. I think you have to read more articles on this forum. there are many methods that you can explore in addition to faucets. you can use bitcoin for anything

There's a lot thing you can do in bitcoin. It can use as currency in many ways just like the normal money. It can helps yoi to some bussinesses and it can use as sub money when you buying things. Some shops and other establishment accept bitcoin now. You can easily pay some things without bringing some money all you need is to bring your bitcoin wallet. Other way around, you can invest some of it in able to earn while spending it. The income in bitcoin is very good and surely if you earn it in good way, you'll have a good profit. :)

Bitcoin have many uses you can invest it or cash it out. Thats why bitcoin is the best for extra income or you can focus to it to earn more money. My friend has no work but am happy to him he made more money by doing investing trading and also here in forum.

I think it's currently possible to do anything with Bitcoin, because there are already debit cards for Bitcoin, and there are also services that allow you to pay your bills with Bitcoin. The problem is that such services have high fees.
It would be more interesting if you could buy things using Bitcoin directly, without relying on such services. It's just a matter of time anyway...

Bitcoin can used in everywhere, not only travelling. For example, last year I bought a new smartphone with bitcoins. It appear new and new places that accept bitcoin as payment, so I think in nearly future it will not be a problem to buy whatever with bitcoins directly.

For newbies, it is okay to earn some free coins from these faucet sites, but in the longer run, these are a waste of time because you get very less money for the time you spend on those sites. Yes, as you said, There is many good ways to doing by using bitcoins. We can doing anything with btc,  The simplest things is converting them to real money.
For me, I like saving my bitcoins, I save around 70% of my profit per week in my web wallet. because i think that bitcoin price will increase more in the near future.
30% of my weekly bitcoin, I used it for buying staff in the internet or Trading, sometimes i do gambling too.

What do you mean by How do you use your Bitcoin? , because this could mean two things, its either you are asking on how do I use my bitcoin, literally, or how do I use my bitcoin, on buying stuffs, trading something like that.

So, let's go back to your question on how do I use my bitcoin, or let's just say, where do I use my bitcoin . Well, most of the time, I am just using my bitcoin on buying stuffs online that only accepts bitcoin as a payment, I am not using it on the everyday transactions that I am having, because I am avoiding that as much as possible. My point on not using bitcoin on that is, why use bitcoin if we could use fiat on our expenses everyday, on the stuffs that we are buying in the real world, and using bitcoin for those is not worth it at all.

Bitcoins price is always fluctuating, almost every minutes, and this time, bitcoins price is dancing on a good price, and using it on our daily expenses will just make our profit on holding our bitcoin disappear. so, let's be wise and think first before we spend our bitcoin in to something, just an advice. :)

I'm thinking about using bitcoins to trade with altcoins and hopefully make some profit from it. As you said we can sometimes expect a certain altcoin to grow like Monero did, or Ethereum. I am going to start researching about that in order to get more useful information.

People have different thoughts and interest about bitcoin and altcoins, yes being greedy may cause our bitcoin lost in scam or failed project. I'm not trust any kind of investment so easy and have to going through some research and learn about it in the market.

If I was in you, I would just hold. BTC price has a very high probability of increasing substantially in the following months and years, so I think it's a bit pointless to spend them. Just buy and hold as much as you can afford.

Same here, I'm only buying things in fiat after I have converted some of my bitcoins, because for me, using bitcoin on buying things that we need is not really worth it. We could lose profit on doing this, so, converting it to fiat first is the better idea that anyone could do if they are going to buy things, unless, the store or shop that where you are going to buy something only accepts bitcoin as a payment.

Yes that is right faucet are very worthless because they didn't give decent amount of money to sustain our daily needs and wants. If you guys really need money then finding a or doing freelance or trading is one of the best option that you can ever choose on.

At current price you need to be lucky to even scoop up around 100-150 satoshi per faucet, per hour. It's a pure waste of time and effort for basically every person. I agree with you. Bitcoin did not react very painfully to the Commission's decision. Its price quickly recovered. I'm very happy about this, it shows that bitcoin is strong cryptocurrency

People use bitcoin different ways. I have even heard a story one guy was telling, about buying drugs with bitcoin.
So the idea is people chose themselves how to use bitcoin. My biggest buying was a new smartphone that I bought the last year, now I am planning a trip to abroad, but unfortunately bitcoin fell this days and now I am planing to delay with this idea.

For me holding bitcoin is good for long term investment and its worth it for those users who are not like to trade and to gamble and it is much safer less risk. But if you are good in trading much better to invest even small amount of your bitcoin and also if you want to gamble just invest the amount of money that you can afford to lose.

The network was good enough for micro payments some years ago but as fees have increased then micro payments are not an option any longer and I don't think that is going to change anytime soon.

In fact, I was going to comment on Dash in the post, but I saw that you updated your post and changed your perception with the altcoins. It seems that Dash can overcome Bitcoin, besides the new ASIC of Baikal makes Dash an attractive investment and makes mining more decentralized.

There will be advantages and disadvantages in everything but as far as i know about btc, you can do almost everything what you can do with the money with little conversion. it is accepted in some of the places and some other places it is not. expecting it to become more popular among the people.

It depends up on the usage of the individuals. some people make btc as there part time job and some people make it there full time. i think you might have invested most of your time in btc so you have got the best result. i have not become rich because of btc but it is giving me additional and regular income which i can spend for myself. am very much happy with the btc.

Trading with altcoins and bitcoin is a good choice, you'll find so much volatility as you have a lot of options to trade and sometimes their movement are correlated with each other. Since simples:if one is lucky and have 100 or so,you cash out buy house,nice car,start some hobby project and live off it,instead of grinding in some job.

Bitcoin is not widely used and accepted everywhere at a moment so spending them is bit difficult but if you are in urgent need of cash then you can sell them and convert it to fiat currency and if not then its better to hold them for future as price is low now so I don't see any point in spending them as it will give us less benefits if we spend them now.

Why don't you use bitcoin debit card dude? If you have bitcoin debit card you can easily save your conversion fees from bitcoin to fiat currency and using bitcoin debit card doesn't involves any fees so it can save your lot of money and at the same time you can use it at any place for shopping either online or offline.

It can be good to use a BTC debit card, but I think there aren't all countries who accept this kind of card on machines because of "flag". I already saw someone using it in Canada, probably in the USA it's allowed also.

I am from India and I am very easily using bitcoin debit card without any hassle and yes there is no charge if you shop at physical places its totally free and even there is no limit for shopping but if you withdraw cash from ATM using bitcoin debit card then its an expensive affair as it charges 3.5% forex conversion charges and also ATM withdrawal charges.

In the past I considered those people very lucky one who were using bitcoin debit card as there was not any option for me which was easy to withdraw and use my bitcoins offline but now I am working on an exchange which is locally for my country so I am taking benefit from them.If anyone do not have the option for debit card then they search for any local exchange.

Current dump is not permanent for sure and it will start recovering very soon and bitcoin is a digital gold whose value keeps on increasing at time passes so the smart thing would be to invest money in bitcoins at a moment as price is low and hold it for long term to get best returns on your investments in future.

I do really like on having my own bitcoin debit card which i do use cryptopay and experience was never been to easy on this one unlike on traditional cards do i have.Just a simple or a matter of clicks you could able to top-up your card and you can use it on any atm which do have visa which is really great.

Even I am using my bitcoins for top up of mobile and apart from that I don't find any place to spend them as there are no physical shops in my areas that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment so I prefer to save my bitcoins for future.

Actually you can do anything you want. You can not only invest on Btc :p but you can do things you want. Personally I use them for all my bills, and stuff I wanna buy. It's a good way to be anonymous and safe some real (paper) money. If you search it you will be surprised how many things you can do ;)

I think it's better to save a part of bitcoin in your wallet for investment. and use only fiat for purchased normal things and only use bitcoin for buying a magical things. I think it's great if we do like that.

Part of the misconception is that you need to find something to do with bitcoin, but in my opinion, if you dont have a necessity, or you dont want to speculate, then you dont need to use it.

It's actually much easier to use bitcoin in online gambling rather than your cards or paypal . But if you're talkin' about risks, using either bitcoin or your paper money doesn't matter cause it varies on the user himself . There are people who become but its not easy so not all people become successful, Investing on gambling sites is also risky especially if you deposited a high amount of bitcoin cause the higher the amount the bigger the profit . Yes bitcoin is better to use in gambling sites because it is anonymous and the gambling sites can't track you down because of the anonymity feature of bitcoin. I totally agree! Investing in gambling is not a good idea unless you will invest it on the house roll of the gambling sites. I also do trading but it is for a medium to long term investment. You need to keep your coins until the day wherein it's value had gone high. But be careful in buying coins because there are also SCAM coins.
