We are now working on V1 of our many beta projects, after having learned a bit from our interactions with approx. 5,000 active users on our platforms. Today, anyone can create an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency on our platform. Users can tokenize property investments, company equity, community currency, securitized debt, and more. Proof token (PRFT) holders earn 3% fees (instantly) from the resolution of investment prediction market events, as well as .5% fees from crypto-USD and crypto-fiat purchases.  All fees will be paid in Ether.  Proof will offer for sale 1,181,031 PRFT tokens out of a total minted of 2,362,062 PRFT.  Now, how are the rest of the tokens used? We are in the same boat as you. TAAS invested during pre-sale into this project that is good sign this is nice opportunity to make secure our tokens during this round with bonus amount. It seems this project will bring a lot of interesting for public use so it will be beginning of new era.

Hey Tai CTO from Proof here.  The cost of issuing an Ethereum Token is around 4 USD while if you use our Proof blockchain it is totally free. 

Likewise, the percentage token holders receive: 3% of the prediction/insurance market and 0.5% of crypto/fiat transactions.  As the system expands we may find other functionality and opportunities for tokenholders, but for now those first ones are set in stone.

Hi CryptoNola, I assume Nola is a reference to New Orlands?

Also for 1.  A good reason would be to participate in the development of the AMP and support the creation of a fully autonomous crypto-asset marketplace while also picking up a token which allows you to gain value in Ether based off the growth of that marketplace.  As for the second part, I think the token is going to fulfill many areas of interest for a diverse assortment of token purchasers with different goals.  That said, our low cap of a little over a million tokens and relatively high price may be a little prohibitive if you aren't somewhat experienced in the crypto-space and crypto-trading.

2) Since your links were removed,  I'm entirely sure what you are asking, however, if it's about the overall space.  I would say we would like to be leaders in the decentralized marketplace space but it's pretty crowded but since there is such a large market opportunity, there is definitely room for a diverse assortment of platforms catering to different niches.  We also have some interesting partnerships we are gearing up to announce soon in the development space that are going to help us push our Smart Contracts out as a development standard for certain kinds of functionality.

Hi mr fdanconia, this is a nice comparison chart. I think it could be improved by adding some more information and analysis of the other groups besides Atlant, and show a more complete comparison by including a more clear and accurate overview of the other projects. Proof has an internal marketplace and a very viable business model.  Also, comparing just real estate features misses a lot of the other benefits of the platforms like Proof, because Proof is so much more than real estate. The chart compares only in one area of capability (real estate). Proof is a full-stack platform not only for real estate, but for many of the challenges in the crypto community today. Having this stack of features beyond real estate is what gives Proof so much value in the crypto space. Cheers!

Hey, I really like your chart and I looked over your whitepaper, cool stuff indeed.  In fact, you highlighted some challenges we had when we were building out the real estate portion of our platform and I think you and your team did an admirable job of addressing these issues.

That said, there are some inaccuracies in the chart I think we have some suggestions for it that may help you out in building a more accurate scope of the landscape.  First, we do indeed have an internal exchange. In fact, it is one of my biggest headaches as a developer-- as you probably already know.  Building a utility exchange has all number of issues, especially when you allow users to control their private keys completely.  Likewise, we already do have a 'viable business plan' (partially based off the exchange) which has evolved from our past 6 months running Proof as a crypto-business (the token-sale is more about building the technologies to take ourselves entirely out of the equation and create a self-regulating fully automated marketplace).  

The chart is indeed accurate, however, in the sense that we do not have P2P rentals since one of our core principles is about ownership.  We believe people should own their crypto-asset.  Now, this presents some challenges as far building an internal ecosystem, however, we are adamant about allowing users to move their assets wherever they want even if it's out of spite over our marketplace.  

The final bit of inaccuracy in the chart comes from the section about prototypes.  Regrettably, we do not have a prototype.  We finished our POC phase last year and launched our public beta at the beginning of 2017.  Currently, we have around 6000 active users each day building communities, deploying theid own ICO's, keeping our customer service staff busy, and helping us plan for the future.  So, for the sake of accuracy, I think it may be best to uncheck that box.

We understand that finding info on our platform is kind of hard ,and for that, we apologize.  We are a company of developers-turned business professionals and are still working on certain aspects of the blockchain business/marketing space.  However, if you head over to https://beta.proofdashboard.com and just poke at it a bit you can invest in some real estate, or other crypto currencies, or bonds, or commercial paper, or utilize our wide breadth of tools to make your life easier as you launch your public offering next year.

Since the minimum purchase is a bit steep we wanted to understate it a bit and focus on the actual Tokensale on October 8th as well as the underlying value prop and project.  The presale closes on September 15th.  However, if you are at the WBF-London we will be doing a short rebated presale giveaway for attendees at our booth.

Good question!  The presale will end when we hit our cap or on September 15th.  All remaining presale tokens will be added to the public sale and partially distributed to the bounties program.

Looking forward to seeing PROOF hit the desired goals and am following the project very closely as am an investor here also. I want to say I really like the atmosphere of the Project and Team who are super friendly and hospitable, to say the least.  :)

Quick update on our Smart Contract development:

We have pushed up the preliminary version of our crypto-fiat.  We are currently on the waiting list for a well known auditing group which we will post details about as soon as our arrangements are solidified.  Currently, it is not complete since the token smart contract also needs to integrate with the AMP to allow for quick withdrawls from all 3 marketplaces.  I have been working on our price speculation market contract and will be submitting it for audit as well here soon.  

On our platform, we are working on getting final pushes ready for our IDE to add a tremendous amount of functionality (Think a more suer friendly Remix Browser Solidity) which, to be honest, may be delayed since I still need to put it through final code review and make sure it's watertight (sorry Mike!).  We have also pushed up some ease-of-use changes and stability enhancements for our internal exchange.  Small transactions between Ethereum and Bitcoin should be more stable and happen faster.  Likewise, David has submitted a big ticket for some huuuge refactoring on our messaging system to make it more robust and usable.  We will be setting up the user stories and time projections for the branch this evening.  

Likewise, for anyone who is getting stymied on the Tawk, we just moved to a new office which, combined with labor day in the US, and some other concerns about our road show, we have been, regrettably neglecting it.  I and David will be personally answering questions on there starting right now until our Customer Service staff are back to 100 percent.  Apologies if this has been an inconvenience to anyone.

The response of the team on slack is just fabulous.Token supply is also very low making it a very good project to invest in if you are a short term investor but investing and holding for the long term will be the best.

Yes, I have to strongly agree with you on the amazing response the Proof team has in the Slack group. The team finds the time to code, answer questions, create videos explaining Blockchain related things, and build business relationships with such a small team.

Recently, it has seemed that China is one of the most progressive states in the field of crypto-currency. And this is such a pain. Probably because of this and panic on stock exchanges. Concerning this project. The team is quite representative. The goals are set, I think it is quite achievable. Is there any agreement with the stock exchanges and with which ones?

The team is aware of this matter to make it list on a exchange but it would after the finish of main ICO this project is still in pre-ICO phase and almost after a month the main round will open. The team has a lot of time to handle this matter and I hope they will do this carefully.

The quoted part is what pulled me in though. So many projects look interesting, but TAAS investing is a major vote of confidence (in my opinion).

Can somebody tell me how all these debitcards work? At what price (bid of any or a specific exchange? something else? illiquid tokens suffer from horrible spreads and volume) are tokens/cryptocurrencies actually exchanged? Hi. I understand that the presale has begun and the minimum contribution is 10ETH and 25% of tokens to be sold will be offered in the presale. I want to clarify this.
"PRESALE TOKEN PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE A MINIMUM 43% DISCOUNT ON PUBLIC OFFERING TOKEN PRICES".
Does this mean that the discounts could be higher? I hope these terms will be favourable for smaller investors.

Maybe very large orders might have gotten a slightly larger discount. I know TAAS contributed a big amount like a quarter of a million USD to this project which makes me more confident to participate in this kind of business that already has some established criteria and running business mode.

I am looking at more viable products like this to invest in as the Crypto World at the moment is in disarray and the markets are floundering. We invested in this project with my Wife in the Presale but might get a little more once the ICO is on. At the moment in so much uncertainty one must find those projects that have a real business model and this one I think this one has the good criteria I am looking for in general.

Your ann thread looks very professional. But what exactly are the differences between you and the other similar companies?

This has been covered earlier in the thread, but Proof has working software and a very viable business model.  Also, comparing just real estate features misses a lot of the other benefits of Proof, because Proof is so much more than real estate. They started with a solution for real estate and quickly found that the platform was viable for just about any type of crypto asset. Proof is a full-featured "mission control" platform for many of the challenges faced by the crypto community today. Having this stack of features beyond real estate is what gives Proof so much value.

There are other coins with some overlapping features and maybe a similar pitch, but the execution and presentation of these solutions is what will set Proof (or any other system) apart. I also believe the market is big enough for multiple players in similar verticals, just like there are many electronics manufacturers and software developers making similar products and are profitable. I really enjoyed watching the latest video taken at the TAAS offices and also I read MR TAI's latest blog post and also I am following your medium channel now too. As an investor in PROOF I will make sure to keep up to date with all the latest developments and will try also to invest a little more in the actual TOKEN SALE if finances permit us. I just wanted to say that, I been following the progress of your team for a few months now. You guys are the real franking deal. You code your products and try to be executives at the same time.

This project is one that is very under wraps at present. I see many Youtubers spouting projects that do not have any serious work ethic like this Team has. The United States has rules and regulations governing the sales of securities. Only accredited investors can partake in private placements within the securities market. It simplifies things and lowers operating costs for most places to simply avoid the United States in order to avoid any potential compliance issues.

kkent is correct, and judging by post history is some kind of an attorney. I am going to assume that is why they didn't let you know that ICOs are only issues for the company if the company KNOWS that you are a US citizen.

Wow! Thank you for sharing this pocket sheet. I read their whitepaper and saw they have a lot planned for this company. This pocket sheet is excellent, so I can share with my friends who are looking for an ICO to invest into.

Their token holders earn 3% instantly from the resolution of investment prediction market events and 0.5% from crypto-USD and crypto-fiat purchase. That is an excellent incentive NOT to buy and sell your PRFT tokens then. Your tokens are an asset that pays to hold for a long term. Kind of like own stocks in a company and they pay you dividends.

It looks like the Proof team holds their tokens, and they too make revenue off of the fees. That's an excellent incentive to make sure your marketplace and tokens are being used since they will not make any more tokens in the future. This is going to be an exciting platform to watch over time.

Oh I am definitely looking forward to when corporations start to get involved and adopt the Proof platform. That will definitely skyrocket the value for token holders. Early adopters will be rolling in their cash, haha

There are many companies out there having a hard time trying to liquidate their equities (existing assets). Proof Dashboard solves this problem rather simply through their tools & the Blockchain technology. It's only a matter of time until a big-name company fully realizes the potentials of Proof Suite's existing platform and tools. Even if big companies do not, there will certainly be countless success stories of start-ups and/or SMEs.

Until then, of course, a lot of efforts will be needed in explaining, pitching, testing, improving, and consulting. Lots of networking, 'sponsoring', and 'collaboration' will be required. But note that there are quite a number of notable advisors within Proof Suite.

As such, 'incentivizing' to attract companies is a rather cheap option which greatly undermines the innovations of Proof Suite. Marketing push is great but the priority should always be in keeping the project's reputation in line with its overall mission & values. There are so many other ways to have that 'marketing push' really going. A proper marketing strategy can go a long way in helping a company achieve its overall mission. So.. this should really be treated with tender loving & care xD.. just my 2 cents.

If PROOF is a good platform and it works, then the companies would stay. It's like sampling, companies give you a sample in hopes that you'll use their product.

Sounds great in theory, as a token would be more stable in value, but then PROOF will still have to compete with Amazon and ebay that has more mileage and can immediately just use fiat. What is the incentive to holding tokens unless the tokens can somehow rise in value?

That said, I can see PROOF working in countries with unstable currencies like in Venezuela, but idk if that is the target you are going for.

THIS is excellent. I just saw the picture on the Reddit post about the advert in the South Korean SUBWAY for PROOF! Ah, just saw the video. I think the potential of this coin is being heavily underrated. Ability to create/test smart contracts and ETH tokens easily and tokenize real world assets along with legalization process is really what the crypto world needs. I doubt anyone would be so div as to sell cheaper than pre ico price, but then on ETHERDELTA I have seen kinds of retarded trading practices, so nothing goes past me lol. There is a very limited number of PROOF TOKENS so I would hold onto them because limited supply will make them very hot property in the future. PROOF is really revolutionizing the way we do business and buy assets and let's the little guys and gals own pieces of assets like real estate that is tokenized for example.

I have watched the video about the AMP and many other PROOFSUITE VIDEOS and they are very enlightening and educational to say the least. I think this was one of the more undervalued and under hyped blockchain based projects to date and it is sometimes these projects that over time do better than the mass hyped, shilled, hysteria type projects. We purchased with my Wife in the PRE ICO so are very curious to see how it all develops, with interest, in the new year.

Reducing the Bounty from 60,000 tokens to 6,000 is an incredibly stupid move.

There is no volume in etherdelta. PRFT needs to be listed in coinmarketcap and decent exchanges like Binance, OKex and Kucoin.

Don't blame ED for lack of volume. ED is the highest volume decentralized exchange out there. Plenty of other tokens on there have plenty of volume. Volume comes from publicity, promotion, accomplishments, success, etc. Exposure by appearing in CMC and on other exchanges helps too, but tokens like VERI do just fine on ED. The PROOF team has failed to attract any significant attention to their projects.

Note that the claim above was that there was "no" exchange which is a patently false statement because ED is an exchange that has listed PRFT.

PRFT can't get listed at CMC until it has $10k/day trading volume.

It can be a difficult decision as to when is the right time to start the marketing for a project post ICO. Personally I think the approach of waiting till you have a working product is more sensible. That way if you run into delays the exposure is for a smaller audience.

The value of the token is appreciating slowly and unless you want a quick flip is shouldn't matter.

ED doesn't work for me at all. I have been trying all morning even using 90 gwei and 60 gwei to send a few PRFT tokens on there to trade a little bit but no luck. The miners are stealing my gas but my tokens are not going on the ED interface. The Team is quite active I think on Telegram and they are primarily focusing on the AMP product and services. Of course having said that, one decent exchange THAT ACTUALLY WORKS, wouldn't be a bad idea just to keep the punters happy.  I just lost another 6 bucks in GAS trying to load tokens on ED..

Yes they have both slack and telegram (telegram here https://t.me/proofupdates ) but they both have their own set of problems. They are actively looking for a good alternative if you have any suggestions. You can see the team has grown considerably, they've added 10+ new members and it looks like they're putting the funds raised during the token sale to good use. It's been quiet for sure, but I don't know how they can possibly keep everyone updated when they're training new staff members all day while simultaneously trying to release version 2 of their platform. It's a tough spot for them to be in, but I PM them all the time and they're on the job more than ever before.

Have you joined proof telegram group? last i heard in there that the amp is coming soon (possibly by first week of july). you should join telegram group if you want to get updates or ask any questions, i think proof team don't follow this thread.

First off, we are very sorry for the lack of updates , I am in contact with the original poster of this thread and we will be updating the front page with new info shortly.  We indeed failed you for not being more forthcoming; but we are a very small team undertaking some big projects at the moment.  However, this is no excuse for my own lethargy in keeping you all up to date.  I would like to use this post to elucidate on the current state of development as an olive branch moving forward.

To put it quickly: we divided up the overall AMP project into 3 parts: a token issuance platform (togen), token exchange (AMP), and asset information (Avocado) datastore.

First, AMP has released as a very early beta.  It has not implemented the rewards contract yet (https://github.com/ProofSuite/proof-cryptodollar/blob/develop/contracts/Rewards.sol (https://github.com/ProofSuite/proof-cryptodollar/blob/develop/contracts/Rewards.sol)) so token holders cannot make use of the rewards function yet for a couple of reasons (as you can imagine, the tokenomics of the space have changed quite a bit since we first wrote our whitepaper).  The first is that we have postponed the 'cryptofiat' integration in favor of a more established support token in the form of USDC and DAI so some of our initial liquidation plans fell through.  Second, development on AMP has been slow as the small teams we had organized for open source development fell apart with the collapse of the crypto prices and interest in developing for blockchain fell out amongst certain members, so David is pretty much managing that entire platform's development.  Please be nice, he is working himself to the bone and I am extremely protective of his mental state.  If you need to vent to or attack someone in Proof, I volunteer myself as tribute.

Now, to address the Avocado in the room.

Avocado is the 'Assurance' side of the Assurance Marketplace Protocol (AMP) ecosystem (https://www.avocadoterminal.com).  It occurred to us that validation through a fully decentralized 'Augur' type of system was not going to cut it and rather that sentiment surrounding upcoming tokens was not just based on market effects but a bevy of other factors from basic site analytics (ala alexa siteranks), to social media buzz, to the projects/companies themselves.  Keep in mind this is about more than just analyzing an initial offering but also the longevity and output of a project in order to avoid this exact situation we find ourselves in.  To address this subjectivity, we began building Avocado.

In order to allow for the best assurance voting on the AMP marketplace we needed a market effect of users sounding off and broadcasting opinions about specific assets in a given time-window in the market.  Initially we wanted to keep it on brand and call the platform X2-Assurance but settled on the more succinct 'Avocado' because we are Millenial brats after all ;)

Although it may seem that we have diverted resources from the AMP exchange to Avocado, Avocado is not a Dapp and therefore is much much easier to develop for.  We began working on Avocado after AMP but it passed that project due to its ease of development and it consists of a team smaller than AMPex.

We developed Avocado as our unifying piece between issuing new assets (togen.io) and placing assets on a marketplace (amp.exchange); you can even access these platforms on Avocado with commands 'togen' and 'amp'.  Likewise, we have envisioned Avocado as the central place where we will be placing any alphas/betas of awesome skunkworks projects our community or ourselves are working on rather than releasing a bunch of new sites. 

Now, for the connecting piece: as teams enter the ecosystem we will add them as 'Institutions' whose members you can chat in realtime with as well as see our automated analysis score for the offering (there's a preview of this on the 'analysis' section of the avocado dashboard).    As we move forward, we will be adding a 'vote' command and section to the site allowing people to sound off with their voting on new STO, IEO, and regular ICO assets in a kind of 'augur-lite' way with the outcomes witnessed by other institutions and the issuing institution itself (letting any team 'face' their detractors) with percentages of market activity funneling back to token holders.  Of course, this isn't a good enough usecase for creating a platform unless we want mass bounces.  We need the network effect first-- so we are focusing on getting both retail and institutional level investors on board so we can mine the most well informed opinions and generate the best insights. 

Finally, I would like to use this post to announce that we will be rolling out crypto payments for Avocado subscriptions by the end of Q1 2019 (tentative barring any major technological set backs) and any full token holders of PRFT will be able to use their tokens for a PRO account on Avocado for as long as they keep the token locked in the escrow contract associated with their Avocado account (the architecture of this is probably going to change but as it rolls out more info will be available.  We are also considering a burning method as laid out by Vitalik but we are still debating the details) as well as allow for priority voting on the vote module of the platform and a possible revenue share of the PRFT-basket as it grows (like a closed-end structured offering.  The details on this are not final.)  Hopefully, this will help to ease the wait as we build liquidity on the full AMP ecosystem (great place to get USDC btw) and get the more robust rewards contract deployed alongside the exchange.

I bought in the pre-ico of proofsuite for a lot of money (~ 100ETH)

I bought because the team made lots of promises that were never fulfilled.

Now I'm stuck with useless tokens and the team seems to have completely deserted the project. I'm not able to speak to anyone from their team anymore, nor to connect with any ICO investor.

Since I believe their practices are illegal, I would like to organize a class action with everyone else who has been scammed.

If there's anyone else IN, please comment back on this thread with the amount of ETH you've invested and lost, and details about the team's bad practices if any.

They either have banned me or removed the channel. There's no way for me to contact the team right now.
Plus, I'm not sure what it would change considering that they've made a ton of promises that were never fulfilled, and I assume the ICO wasn't conducted in a legal fashin. Also, I invested in the first place because they promoted an innovative credit crypto card as a proofsuite product, which finally ended up as a fuzex product (sister company). They did it to raise more money through a different ICO.

Anyway, I really feel betrayed by the PROOF team and I'm sure I'm not the only one, which is why I suggest running a class action.

Last time I suggested to Mike the Moron and Tai the Fatty at discord channel that the AMP can be made to be like a central marketplace where the orderbook is consolidated from various exchanges, so that liquidity is not an issue and large orders can be fulfilled, that such a business model would attract a lot of adoption and make the project a success.

Mike the Moron said they would need to have broker's license.

Tai the Fatty said I was being long-winded with little to no substance.

Today, I watch this news from Ivan on Tech that Tagomi is being acquired by Coinbase for around USD 75 million to USD 100 million.

Tagomi's business model is so similar to my business model suggested to the Proof Suite team.

If only the Proof Suite team members are competent, the project would probably be just as close in success and the ICO contributors would most probably make some 25x gain at the very least.

Unfortunately, Proof Suite is run by a bunch of totally useless trio, that rescinded on earlier promises, rejected good suggestions, have no sustaining power, etc and ultimately contributed to the project's total failure.

I am 100% thoroughly convinced that Mike the Moron and Tai the Fatty are nothing but fakepreneurs and simply do not have what it takes.

I remember last time when they still have a discord channel, that Mike talked of some report on market analysis and such, on their project.
For months, the report didn't come, but when it does, the report was mainly blanks.
And Mike was touting it to be some great stuff.
From this, one can fairly judge the competency level of Mike "Dummy"-Shazer.

I was even kind enough to suggest to them to maybe fork the then-successful EtherDelta and make some significant improvements on the interface and order book, coupled with reduced fee to attract mass adoption for a start.
And this is supposed to be a very very easy job banking on an already successful dex.
But these scumbags rejected it outright.
Eventually, these scumbags achieved nothing and the Proof Suite project just die out.
And all the investors money wasted.
