The international industry of eSports ranks among the world’s most rapid growing and

highly profitable markets. Many of the business sharks and

heavyweight investors such as Tencent, Amazon, Alibaba, USM Holdings, Warren Buffett, have

already come up with investments into eSports in their attempt not to

miss the developing market. The average annual growth rate amounts to 37%. It is expected that

the eSports market will come ever closer to $2 bln in 2018.

The existing platforms involve serious problems for the players. There are frequent

downtimes and errors on the servers. The resolution of game disputes

sometimes depend on persons who are in collusion with the opponent. Most companies are under

total control of their owners, and the users' deposits are often

confiscated or fall into hackers’ hands. The World of Battles decentralized gaming platform

solves all the existing problems: eliminates network downtimes, checks

the results of the games resolving disputes automatically, and safeguards the users’ money.

These innovations significantly enhance the quality of eSports. They

will make game playing completely automated, more secure, and much more pleasant.
World of Battles presents a platform where everyone has an opportunity to show their skills

fairly and to build a career as a professional gamer.
The World of Battles breakthrough platform created on the basis of Ethereum’s smart contracts

gives everyone an opportunity to compete in popular online games

such as Hearthstone, League of Legends, Dota 2, CounterStrike: GO, StarCraft 2.

Thanks for your response, in 2016 our project began with identifying current problems in the eSports industry, only after it we began to look for ways out and found them, and implemented all the best within the World of Battles platform.

It’s a cool idea, eSports will become the Olympic sport in the nearest future, and there are no worthy platforms for the present. I am with you, guys  ;)

Thanks for your opinion. As for the Olympic sport, you are absolutely right. By reference to public available information this issue will be resolved in the nearest future because the eSports audience according to various researches consists of several hundreds of millions people.

The problems described by you really exist and don’t allow eSports to move to a new level. I hope you will be able to realize platform potential function, I will support you.

First hour bonus of 100% is great offer. The project in itself is very cool so who would not want to double the double just by participating immediately after what it will be up. Gaming projects have great potential on blockchain. Previously lot of people have gotten good return on some gaming based projects.

I observed at the end of the description is stated that this is regulated by Japan. Does this mean the crowdfunding and project is fully legalized and recognized by Japanese authorities ? I need to dig more into information but e-sports with touch of Twich shows hidden potential for this one.

I was always surprised that in such great eSports market there are no really worthy platforms for tournaments and competitions because it is the basis of the multimillion industry. The correct direction has been chosen, I see in it bright future.

1. Where would one go to register as part of the 450k people who have regiestered?
2. Do you have any evidence of these numbers?
3. How come your release dates are so specfic? Is the product in a working alpha stage already and using tokens?
4. Will the beta use the tokens?
5. You mention using the game APIs. But these games are almost certainly not using your own custom APIs at the moment. So how do you connect to them?
6. Who are your competitors?
7. Why announce the ICO so close to the sale date?
8. Why do all the links on the site go nowhere? Coin Telegrapph, NewsBTC, Coinhills, etc.

Could you provide some proof regarding Bittrex and Binance listing?

Like I said, it looks very promising but lacks some transparency. Fix that and you're good to go to the moon :)

We are grateful to you for your interest in our project. We will answer your questions with great pleasure:

1. You can log in in our main portal https://worldofbattles.io/ We will be glad to see you among the registered players.
2. We have the internal confirmed statistics on which we rely. Disclosure of personal information of the registered players is impossible within the current legislation. Wait, please, for December, and you will be convinced of truthfulness of these indicators.
3. We have approached to creating the project having worked out all possible details, we have responsibilities to investors and players of the platform. We can't conduct business negotiations without specific dates, numbers, sums and a clearly created business plan. It is important for us and for our partners. The alpha version was tested without using WoB tokens. It would make transfer of this token into ICO difficult.
4. The beta version will be tested with using WoB tokens. We hope that you will take part.
5. We almost don't use game API in that way on which the majority of the operating platforms rely. At the moment we carry out a large number of negotiations and consultations with representatives of Hearthstone, League of Legends, Dota 2, CounterStrike: GO, StarCraft 2, WESA, IeSF and world eSportsteams. On the basis of the got advice we actually have found all possible ways of implementating the project in the form in which we describe it in our WP. We also actively hold testing by the help of the existing Steam possibilities.
6. In the form in which we're preparing the platform and in those game formats which will be presented there, we find it difficult to call competitors as nobody has realized this task before.
7. We have approached to creating our project as much as possible taking into account each step. To realize everything that we have thought over, we need additional investments as the project without exaggeration will be large-scale within the eSport industry + we bear responsibility to investors and future holders of WoB tokens and we understand that interest also has to be based on transparent understanding of the fact when possible investments can bring specific results within the stated time period.
8. More and more editions are being added at the moment, we include them into the list on the first-served basis. Today these changes will be finished. We apologize for inconvenience. We hope that they won't affect impressions about our project.

We thank you for your devoted time to our project and drawing up questions once again. If you have specifications in the future, then you will always be able to write directly to any member of our team https://ico.worldofbattles.io/#!/team

Have a nice day.

Thanks for a positive review about our project and for the fact that you have provided the first feedback in bitcointalk cocerning our subject. It is really very pleasant to us.
In the nearest future we will try to begin interaction with community in full.
As for Bittrex and Binance, we have communicated with representatives of these resources and have obtained full and rather exhaustive information under the terms and posting order. Having seriously analyzed the obtained information and having compared it with the internal statistics, we have come to a conclusion that taking into account preliminary indicators we will undergo filtration and we will be present at all the listed resources.
We try to be the most open ones. If you have any questions, you will always be able to address directly to any member of our team https://ico.worldofbattles.io/#!/team

Thank you very much for your reply. It is a very interesting project. I would just like to follow up with a few more questions:

1. Was the alpha version tested with any tokens at all? Obviously not the ICO ones :P In any case, how about a video of the app working? A tested app should definitely have more than an image :)
2. Regarding the release dates. I still find it odd that they are so specific. Are you that certain you will meet them? There are usually delays with these projects. Often months!
3. I need more info regarding the timeline decision of the ICO. Most ICos announce themselves weeks or months before the sales start. However, you announced this literally 2 days before the sale. Just curious as to why since you have little time to advertise or get feedback.
4. Since you don't use in-ame APIs, can you give me an example of how you access the ames result for the match decision to be made?
5. I notice that not much is allocated for development from the token sale. Why is this? Also, no money seems to be allocated for marketing.
6. Would be good to provide more detailed calculations for the revenue projects. They seem a bit optimistic atm. I doubt 42% of players will actually bet on a daily basis. I'm goin to assume 1% though and taht would mean around 50cents per player per day.  If it catches on 5%-10% use it then great but it will usually involve smaller amounts I think. Optimistic projections, but a tenth of that would still be pretty good.

Sorry to bust your balls but when I'm interested, I ask a lot of questions :)

I think these are great questions but right now there are too many red flags around this ICO. I would also like to understand how investors will make money from this ICO as I imagine the token price cannot go up by too much if the tokens will be used as a core utility on the platform.

Also, some other questions for the WOB team:

1) Why don't you have a Telegram channel? Every credible ICO has a Telegram community before the ICO starts where members can ask questions.

2) I have tried to contact your team members both on LinkedIn and on the emails provided on your ICO page, but the emails bounced back - this is a major warning flag.

3) Who is your CEO and can we find information about his achievements on Google? I want to understand who on your team actually has gaming experience.

4) You have listed Twitch partnership but I cannot see anything online about such a partnership. If you cannot verify this then again it looks like a red flag.

5) Why do you have no relevant postings on Twitter about your company or your platform or your team? All the postings are generic E-Sports postings which any scammer can do.

I am interested in your project  but not if you cannot give credible answers to these questions.

Thank you.

Yes, please answer ICO_Hunters questions. Very important.

I get how the token could have value, but we need more info. Post video of the app workin at least and the team members at the office perhaps? Should only take an hour or so.

Initially in the alpha-version we have tried to reveal all the features and specifics of creating the model on the basis of tokens. For this purpose we have used test tokens and partially we have taken a prototype of internal currency as a basis. The alpha version was rather ill-considered and had a number of disadvantages which we practically corrected while approaching to the beta version release. It was a great job and we moved to the absolutely other level in comparison with the initial version. It won't be absolutely correct from the point of view of the platform marketing and its present state, which we will show in December this year, to show the alpha version which doesn't reflect the real development situation at the moment at all. But we are grateful to you for a hint and our experts will try to pick up the most interesting moments which have occurred during testing not to deform the platform condition at the moment as we have already mentioned above.
We have been working on creating the platform more than 1,5 years and have developed a certain speed to predict dates. We put the beta version and the final platform version release inti our internal calendar a little bit earlier more than enough. Thereby we can be confident in the exact release date. Probably it will be appropriate to repeat that a great job has been done, and we're surely approaching the finish line. Yes, probably, it isn't so widespread in the ICO model as teams often attract investors for projects which only begin to make out their idea on paper. We have tried to use the other model.
We feel big support of our future investors including those with whom we have already agreed upon financing our project and also support of registered players. We are very grateful for these moments. We would like to get a response on specific questions which could arise only within this forum from bitcointalk. We receive many personal messages. O course, the great majority of them are with words of encouragement, but there are also questions concerning some moments which can attract a special interests group. We are also very grateful to them.
At the core of the platform there is an automated decentralized proxy server which processes matches and rewards called the MULTIWOB software. In addition to curating contests and acting as an interface to process contests and rewards this software powers the platform’s match outcome verification mechanism. In a nutshell, this mechanism allows any player to contest the results of their match if they do not agree with it. It is possible to read more in WP.
We have carried out the analysis of the obtained data from various sources including SuperData. We have tried to define the average value having collected all the indicators which can influence the end result for it to be as close as possible to real conditions. The conversion value of World of Battles was within the limits from 0,3% up to 0,7%, the average rate is from $3 to 7, the commission is 3%. Relying on the same data from various competent sources we have received the number of players who play every day, i.e. 20-25% of total. In this case it is worth remembering additional advertizing revenues estimated with the help of a set of criteria by us, and of course, the constant growing number of players.

Thank you.
We thank you that you have created the account in bitcointalk only to communicate with us. It is very pleasant to us.
When the platform popularity growing and players increasing taking into account that the number of tokens is limited, we will observe the continuous increase in cost of tokens.
Here, as it seems to me, there is no clearly outlined framework in the communication form. But we will take into account your remark and we will try to make allowances concerning telegram.
At the moment in Tokyo it's midnight, and it is also rather difficult to carry out some actions which you describe in your questions, but we will try to correct this situation as soon as possible.
What do you mean by play experience?
We carry out the final coordination on the basis of the Twich platform for us to be able to work with this platform before the platform start, but our whole platform is already ready to full interaction.

ICOHunters, Phroneo, guys, in my opinion it's the most open project. You won't often meet more developed answers in our community. Before clinging to all possible trifles it is necessary to understand for yourself what you want to pull from answers. And on the surface it turns out that you try to find a pretext in each answer to turn everything upside down. Will you ask them to sing for camera and to dance? Especially strange it sounds from the account which has just created it and has rushed here at once, but it is obvious that the person understands the community specifics. It gives certain ideas.

I wish the project good luck. I am with you.

Come on - just because I created the account today, it doesn't mean I cannot ask reasonable questions. I am asking questions which all investors should ask. This is currently looking like a SCAM and I am asking the World of Battles team to help me believe it is not. Also, I had to set up an account on here because it is impossible to find the team anywhere else. In the previous post they have not answered any of my questions:

1) Who is your CEO please? I have not seen an ICO without a CEO.
2) Please everyone take a look at their Twitter feed - it is really concerning. All it has is posts about E-sports but nothing about the team or the company
3) Please everyone try to send an email to the team on the website, and you will see the emails bounce back - 1 day before the ICO and your emails do not work? Seriously?
4) No Telegram channel the night before the ICO - seriously? It's because there is "zero" community
5) No Partnerships at all on the site, no advisors - how do we know this isn't a scam with a great website?
6) CAN WE PLEASE SPEAK TO SOMEONE ON THE TEAM? WHAT ARE YOUR CONTACT DETAILS?

I think these are all reasonable questions.

This is all very worrying.

I would like to be proven wrong in a reasonable way - not just fanboys who do not understand how to invest telling me "guys this the most open project" - it clearly isn't an open project.

I think this is a big salty scam. With 450 000 users, why no social media following? The site looks great, but the links doesn't work and when you go and research deeper all you see is no real following. Electroneum ICO has already 150 000 backers. What are you talking about? The max supply is listed at 50M...

Also their CEO and advisors are also clearly listed on the ico website.

The only thing that I find odd is that they claim to have 450K registered users but their website has an alexa score of 7m which is very bad. So I don't know if I would belive that number...

This is what I mean about fan boys not understanding how to invest and then backing the company up. "Someonesomeone" - If you bothered to read the website, you will see there is NO CEO listed. They have a founder / investor - but that is not the same thing.

Also, all credible ICOs have advisors who are from other well-known parts of the blockchain world - who on their website fits that bill?

I agree, I definitely don't believe this figure of 450,000 players on a waiting list. If so, where are these 450,000 people on their telegram or youtube channels??

Sorry everyone but this has SCAM all over it - if you want to throw your money into a dark hole then it's your decision, but you should ask these questions.

Dear interlocutor, we're answering all your questions for days and nights, but a sudden flow a day of ICO accounts with 1-2 messages really gives certain ideas. WHY? Because there is full information on our company and our CEO, he is our main investor, and as any person who studies our project and watches it you could notice that it is Makoto Takahashi.
We have the full infomration on our website, we put highlights in Medium too, we present the existing project and we have not only to tell you about ICO and the main events which take place in the eSports industry because promoting this subject is one of the main sources of its development.
Really, you are the only person who can't send a letter to the members of our team. Any can make sure of it. We will try to make it for any who comes.
We have all the contacts with the team members, we have email for the spot news if they arise. Who has told that Telegram is obligatory? In Japan this messenger isn't developed at all.
The partnership is described on our website, in the same place there are also consultants'. What is wrong with you?
I hope for your prudence.
Everybody who has written back in our subject with the status "member" or higher positively belong to the project and see its potential. Everybody who has just created the account for bitcointalk give groundless claims and try to create a negative background. What is wrong with you?

The existing platforms involve serious problems for the players. There are frequent downtimes and errors on the servers. The resolution of game disputes sometimes depend on persons who are in collusion with the opponent. Most companies are under total control of their owners, and the users' deposits are often confiscated or fall into hackers’ hands. The World of Battles decentralized gaming platform solves all the existing problems: eliminates network downtimes, checks the results of the games resolving disputes automatically, and safeguards the users’ money. These innovations significantly enhance the quality of eSports. They will make game playing completely automated, more secure, and much more pleasant.
World of Battles presents a platform where everyone has an opportunity to show their skills fairly and to build a career as a professional gamer.
The World of Battles breakthrough platform created on the basis of Ethereum’s smart contracts gives everyone an opportunity to compete in popular online games such as Hearthstone, League of Legends, Dota 2, CounterStrike: GO, StarCraft 2.

If it is 450 000 users, it would be atleast couple of thousands views on youtube, talk about the ICO on youtube, bigger social media following that you have now... even the alexa score is not matching. The links for the articles is not working and my google search didn't find anything. This is a  either a nice scam for stupid people or some dumb coder and shitty promoters!

I was really looking to invest money in this but it raises so many red flags... don't ever lie about something to make the project look better, because you are turning investors away from your ICO, fast!

You can only do so much to warn people. If they choose to be ignorant to the numerous red flags and obvious lies of this "project" than they deserve to lose their investments IMO. It took me all over 5 minutes to pokes holes in every aspect of this but I'm sure plenty of others will leap head first into this without any kind of research. Nevermind the numerous deceptions they have a decent site so it must be legit lol. WAKE UP people don't throw away your crypto's due to a little FOMO.That's all I got to say about that....

Red flags indeed, including the fact that they posted few days ago, the article on websites like cintelegraph doesn't evne have a day and so on. Usually this is done when you don't want your potential customers to start digging information about yourself, your project, your website etc

Another red flag:
"This user's password was reset recently.

This user's email address was changed recently."

Might be a "sold" or stolen account, trying to make some quick ca$h with a fake ICO. The password + email were changed recently. Waiting for clarification.

Here are some RED FLAGS regarding this ICO and the reason why I beleive it's a SCAM.

1. The user promoting the ICO have changed both his password and email recently. This is usually the case when dealing with either stolen accounts or purchased ones, in order to add credibility to a thread: Proof ? Check his profile:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=319040
"Trust summary for HaRR0o
This user's password was reset recently.
This user's email address was changed recently."

2.In the websie source code, there are links/refferences to Cartoons, Watch Anime, Narruto, Game of Thrones and so on, which is totally irellevant to an Esports ICO. This shows, once again, unprofessional and suspect behaviour. Proof ?

Here's part of  the source code of their ICO's first page:
"
<p style="display:none;"><a href="http://gameofthroneswatch.online/" title="game of thrones" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://dbsuper.xyz/" title="watchdragonballsuper" rel="follow"> Watch Dragon ball super </a>
<a href="http://watchnaruto.xyz/" title="watch naruto" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchbsd.xyz/" title="watch bsd" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchgta.xyz/" title="watch gta" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchbha.xyz/" title="watch bha" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://kabaneriwatch.online/" title="watch kabaneri" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchberserk.xyz/" title="watch berserk" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://dgraymanwatch.online/" title="watch dgrayman" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://gameofthrones-season6.xyz/" title="game of thrones" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchanimes.online/" title="watch berserk" rel="follow"></a>
"

3.The article on Cointelegraph about their ICO is posted by a " Guest Author ", not by a well known person. Proof ?
https://cointelegraph.com/news/worlds-first-ethereum-based-esports-platform-launched

4.ICO contribution magically went from 0 to 70% in few minutes, then jumped to 92% and got STUCK there for minutes. Reason ?  Very simple psycology: First, you set it to 70% so it looks like a lot fo people already contributed and rushed to buy the tokens, though making the possible victims believe it was a legit ICO and the tokens are valuable since the whole project sold 70% of the tokens in the first 5-10 minutes. Secondly, it was set to 95% and STUCK there forever to induce the second part of the message to the potential customers/victims, just like you see in teleshopping commercials "buy now, last product!" or, in this case "buy now, last 8%". This induces FOMO ( fear of missing out), which is a common practice in crypto space. These two tactics combined would make some unaware victims, when used properly

5. Incredible high bonus, 100% for the 1st hour, 90% for the first day and so on. While it is common to see a 10-30% bonus for ICOs and up to 70-80% for PRE-ICOS,  it still feels very unnatural to see a straight 100% bonus during a normal ICO phase.

I hope to be proven wrong with all these points, but couldn't risk not to report this, as people might actually lose hard worked money on such scams. Not to mention the bad impact on the whole crypto scene. Sorry for all the possible grammar mistakes, as I wrote this while actually working in real life.

I sent a email on their website and received a response from the person claiming to be their founder as I had made a 1 ETH contribution during the first hour but hadn't received anything in the way of tokens in the hours folowing. His response was "Hi,

To provide investors' money safety sending tokens is carried out in a half automatic mode on October 18.

Thanks for understanding!

Makoto Takahashi  (Founder, Investor)

I also asked about the transaction field data but received no response, only "We send tokens to the address which has been used for transferring"

Finally I asked about the oddities found on their website code and further clarification regarding the transaction date field when sending payment but have yet to receive another response.

Guys, I invested in that ICO after reading Cointelegraph.
Then I checked this thread and after reading the scam alerts, I sent a message to the TEAM SECRET of Dota2.
They just responded to me the below message:

Thanks for reaching out.

We are not in any way involved in this project - and we've asked World of Battles to remove us from their site and marketing materials. This came to our attention yesterday and is currently being rectified. Our brand was used without permission and we are taking steps to defend its usage.

John

So, yes, sadly, this ICO is probably a SCAM. Don't do the same mistake as me!!!

The 100% bonus for the first hour is very tempting. I also think that if you can solve the current problems in the eSports industry and make a competitive platform this project could do really well. Who knows if this is the platform that will take the eSports scene to a whole new level.

But one thing is sure, idealizing it is very different than accomplish it, you will have a very high mountain to climb but I really hope you guys can pull it off.

I thought he was trolling, but checked it by myself aswell and this really is on their website. ( right click and select "view page source, in Mozilla for example). Seems like a stolen template which got edited, but they forgot to edit this last part. Red flags indeed, including the fact that they posted few days ago, the article on websites like cintelegraph doesn't evne have a day and so on. Usually this is done when you don't want your potential customers to start digging information about yourself, your project, your website etc

I'm glad, I alerted someone

Highly unlikely. These fuckers did a thorough job. Only thing left to do is warn others on here and anywhere else. I'm going to continually repeat that until the end of this SCAM ICO is complete.

I would like to sincerely thank all those that flagged this as a scam. It certainly made me question if it was truely legit.

When I dug around I found generic LinkedIn profiles with little more than employment history and social media feeds that only went back a month or so. For a company that claimed to be in development for 18 months there should’ve been more history in social media.

I emailed Twitch to see if they were collaborating, but haven’t had a reply yet.

I looked at the code on GitHub, nothing there except for the same PR crap they put on the website and when the ICO code was put up this morning, it looked cut and paste from an Ethereum template.

This certainly had me going for a while and I wanted to invest, in the end glad I didn’t. The website appears to be down now.

I feel for those that fell victim to these scum, hoping karma comes around for them. I also hope this doesn’t put people off crypto too much and we can all get better at calling this garbage out.

Ivan the programmer on YouTube does a good video on navigating GitHub if you want to learn about about it, especially for working out if there is active contributors to the project.

All the best folks

There is now lots of esports platform on icos even some of them looks like scam. Why we should invest to your platform?Whats different than others?
When your platform will be ready? If its not soon i dont think you could sell any tokens.

ROADMAP - https://ico.worldofbattles.io/
As my idea people now saying its much more likely scam project which is make bad reputation for you guys if you guys really on this project.
Try to show something before ico at least a beta version of project so people could make invest.

Hello guys,

I had to create an account just to thank you for warning about the red flags in this one. I have been getting interested about ICOs lately and was also fooled by the article in cointelegraph. I was seriously considering to invest about 6-8 ETH in this one. Luckily I did my googling and found this thread before that. That would have been my first ever ICO investment. Scam averted with bitcointalk.

If this turns out to be a scam, which i'm still somehow remaining optimistic, i'd say a class action against Cointelegraph would be in order.  This would also greatly hurt crypto in general and would usher in govt regulation.

Dude, it definitely is a scam. A few of us here got duped by it...
We just need to bring CONTINUED AWARENESS to those who have not done any research and are thinking about investing. Cointelegraph is definitely being flooded by emails by now; but not just them - there are four to five crypto, media outlets that are receiving emails as to why they still have their articles up on this ICO.

Seems what I've wrote yesterday is already confirmed by dozens of other users, this speciffic ICO is a SCAM
- I've already reported it to moderators here, especially for the use of clones. They didn't do anything about it yet
- I've already reported it to contelegraph aswell. They haven't done anything to remove the article either
- If you know anywhere you can report it (to the real police) and you lost money, do it or at least ask a lawyer what can be done.
- No, I didn't personally lose any money in this. I just wanted to invest and started to do "detective work" and found out all these RED FLAGS

Here are some RED FLAGS regarding this ICO and the reason why I beleive it's a SCAM.

1. The user promoting the ICO have changed both his password and email recently. This is usually the case when dealing with either stolen accounts or purchased ones, in order to add credibility to a thread: Proof ? Check his profile:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=319040
"Trust summary for HaRR0o
This user's password was reset recently.
This user's email address was changed recently."

2.In the websie source code, there are links/refferences to Cartoons, Watch Anime, Narruto, Game of Thrones and so on, which is totally irellevant to an Esports ICO. This shows, once again, unprofessional and suspect behaviour. Proof ?

Here's part of  the source code of their ICO's first page:
"
<p style="display:none;"><a href="http://gameofthroneswatch.online/" title="game of thrones" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://dbsuper.xyz/" title="watchdragonballsuper" rel="follow"> Watch Dragon ball super </a>
<a href="http://watchnaruto.xyz/" title="watch naruto" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchbsd.xyz/" title="watch bsd" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchgta.xyz/" title="watch gta" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchbha.xyz/" title="watch bha" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://kabaneriwatch.online/" title="watch kabaneri" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchberserk.xyz/" title="watch berserk" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://dgraymanwatch.online/" title="watch dgrayman" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://gameofthrones-season6.xyz/" title="game of thrones" rel="follow"></a>
<a href="http://watchanimes.online/" title="watch berserk" rel="follow"></a>
"

3.The article on Cointelegraph about their ICO is posted by a " Guest Author ", not by a well known person. Proof ?
https://cointelegraph.com/news/worlds-first-ethereum-based-esports-platform-launched

4.ICO contribution magically went from 0 to 70% in few minutes, then jumped to 92% and got STUCK there for minutes. Reason ?  Very simple psycology: First, you set it to 70% so it looks like a lot fo people already contributed and rushed to buy the tokens, though making the possible victims believe it was a legit ICO and the tokens are valuable since the whole project sold 70% of the tokens in the first 5-10 minutes. Secondly, it was set to 95% and STUCK there forever to induce the second part of the message to the potential customers/victims, just like you see in teleshopping commercials "buy now, last product!" or, in this case "buy now, last 8%". This induces FOMO ( fear of missing out), which is a common practice in crypto space. These two tactics combined would make some unaware victims, when used properly

5. Incredible high bonus, 100% for the 1st hour, 90% for the first day and so on. While it is common to see a 10-30% bonus for ICOs and up to 70-80% for PRE-ICOS,  it still feels very unnatural to see a straight 100% bonus during a normal ICO phase.

I hope to be proven wrong with all these points, but couldn't risk not to report this, as people might actually lose hard worked money on such scams. Not to mention the bad impact on the whole crypto scene. Sorry for all the possible grammar mistakes, as I wrote this while actually working in real life.

That you are still trying to scam more people, makes me SO angry. Let me tell you; if the day comes that your identity will be reveiled (and that day will come) you can be sure that we WILL meet. And that won't be on the internet, I can asure you.

We'll see each other one day, soon.

Kind regards,

This ICO is, most probably, a SCAM. Check the previous posts where the Red Flags are detailed and proofs presented. In addition to those red flags, trere are at least 5-6 more that I didn't have time to post and go into specific details:

Here's the progress so far:
- Reported and gave negative feedback to the initiator of the thread.
- Identified, reported and gave negative feedback to 6 of his possible clones (and will continue to do so with the remaining ones)
- Reported the thred to the section moderator. It seems my report was denied/declined, but no reason was given.
- Reported the thread to an administrator. Hopefully he will have some free tiem to look into this issue and have the willing and wisdom to do something in order to mitigate the user's crypto (and real life money) losses
- Reported the initial Cointelegraph paid article, but no response yet. The article was still on the website, last time I checked

What can you do ?

- Investigate by yourself what was presented in the previous posts and compare the ICO claims with the reality
- Post your honest opinion. Don't be afraid to talk or give trade rating, as long as you have arguments and you're honest
- Report to authorities, in case you have lost money

Note:This is NOT a revenge post. I did NOT lose any money in this project. Like most of you, I've checked it in order to see if it's worth investing and ended up digging deeper and deeper and finding all these dirty details. For some of you, it was too late, as you've already lost your crypto. However, for other users, like they admited by themselves into this thread, such awarnings actually helped them to avoid such losses and reconsider or further consolidate their decisions, based on the evidence and proofs we were able to provide so far.

Hey N1CKHOLAS,

I really appreciate you leading the way on keeping people updated on this situation.  I unfortunately was one of the people that gave one ETH before doing the proper research.  Someone previously mentioned a class action lawsuit and you have mentioned contacting the authorities regarding this issue...How exactly should one go about doing that?  This doesn't seem like something you would call 9-1-1 about (obviously), so I'm unsure how to approach this.  Thanks for any additional information you can provide outside of the all the information provided already!

Guys, my apologies for your losses!

Yesterday, we took their website down bypassing Cloudflare protection. Since they are up again and more people falling in their scam, we started the DDOS attack again. They are down!

If you want to help us keeping these scammers down, send us a PM.

Keep blasting these fucking losers. I wish there were some way to track them down and torture them slowly.

DO NOT INVEST - THIS IS 100% A SCAM!!! READ THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS

I saw this ICO and browsed through it.

At first it seemed too good to be true, but the logo looked too similar to the "Brave Browser" logo.

When I returned to the site for more in-depth reading at the comfort of home,
MetaMask alerted me that WorldOfBattles is a SCAM.

My first reaction was like  :o .

My thought was how could this be when there are websites even giving them a review?

So I'm like  ???.

This made me suspicious and led me to this forum post confirming to me that this is indeed a scam.

Probably just having MetaMask enabled accidentally saved my eths.

Having MetaMask or an antiphishing extension on chrome (like EtherAddressLookup, according to my testing) will probably save people a lot of grief.

These scammers just makes me  >:( !!!

Can't the moderator check if the IP addresses of the newbies who posted shitty 'positive' posts are coming from the same IP of the OT starter

A Scan For Scam: Beware of the World of Battles ICO

Recently, there have been a lot of messages about World of Battles being a scam scheme. Coinidol has previously published an articleon their project. They promised 37% annual growth and a $2 billion market cap in 2018. Doesn’t seem like a fairytale, does it? Besides, the e-Sports industry is rapidly developing, so why not indeed?
However, recently, the web exploded with angry messages about the project being a scam. Some links didn’t work, there were no tokens distributed so far, no verified source code, and the address they use is a regular wallet, not a smart contract.
