Great question. It is not required for users to pay with our tokens. They can pay like a normal exchange. However, it will be 25% cheaper to use DAE tokens to pay fees versus paying without.

It took month to come up with a unique name. All these exchanges try to fit 'BIT' into their names, or 'coin'. It gets annoying after a while to see that.

We chose Apollo based on multiple factors and research. However, the entanglement between the names Apollo, DAE , and AVO, is a little complex and too long to explain. Maybe we will write an article about that :-)

No Minimums as of right now. Fee is 0.1%. Fee's for withdraws are only network fees, which depends on amount and urgency.


If you participate now, if the pre-sale, you will save 20% your DAE token purchase. Once the pre-sale is over and the ICO starts, there will be no more discounts. You can buy as much or little as you want by sending any amount of ETH or BTC. It will all be converted to DAE tokens at a 20% discount once the ICO is finished. DAE will be traded on multiple exchanges after the ICO. Possibly easy to cash out, but if you trade a lot, better to just hodl DAE tokens and use as fees on Apollo. Way cheaper to trade.


I understand the first part of your question, the 2nd part was confusing.
DAE tokens currently do not have a set price. Instead, starting Dec, 30th, we will open voting for anyone to vote on what they want the price of DAE tokens to be. Once we close voting, the average price that everyone voted on will be the final price of DAE tokens, and will be the price everyone pays for their tokens (unless you have a discount from the pre-sale).


Not currently on any exchanges, the tokens have not been created yet. DAE should be available on multiple exchanges post-ICO. DAE tokens are an ERC-20 token, so you would use an Ethereum wallet.

Correct. DAE tokens is the token you will want to have when trading. It is not required to have when trading (for now), but will result in a big decrease in the fee's you pay if you use our token. We will have our token listed on a few other exchanges.

Honestly, I don't see any future for this. This is just a regular exchange. It's not like Robinhood crypto which is zero fee or like Kucoin which gives bonuses to it's customer. It's not worth my time.

I guess you don't understand spreads? Robinhood doesn't charge a commission, correct. They instead make money by using a large spread in prices. Every trade on robinhood, will cost you the same as trading anywhere else, you just won't know it up front. The "ZERO" fee is just a marketing scheme.

Good luck with Kucoin. Their tokens would be considered securities which will eventually become illegal in many countries. We offer a better token with long term benefits and little risk of government interventions.

Tokens aside, Kucoin offers just another typical exchange. Surprised you did not mention this.... Apollo's exchange will give traders more options, better information, and big discounts for trading. No longer just "Buy and Sell" type trading on Apollo.

I really want to make this clear that I am not here to FUD for the sake of FUDing. This idea sounds promising and the beta appears to me to be impressive.

However, I am worried about the legitimacy of this project. We have no history of any of your development team. They have not provided last names so we cannot verify their credentials. A quick look up of Mr. McDaniel's linkedin account provides some dubious credentials as to whether or not he'd be qualified or experienced enough to run such a project. Being part of a business club at a technical school geared towards engine repair is not one of them.

An education grounded in automobile repair and maintenance as well as an indication of possibly attending the University of Phoenix place some serious doubts in my head. While automobile repair and maintenance is a respectable and rewarding line of work, this skillset and background doesn't lend itself to crypto.  This, coupled with claiming the title of CEO of several companies that don't appear to exist any longer is giving me further reason to be skeptical. The only person who I see vouching for your skillset has the same last name as you, so this person is almost certainly a relative of yours.

My research has been very thorough based on what little you have given us, you won't publicly verify anything about yourselves, and when questioned why, your response is some russian guy got kidnapped for a million dollars. If that was the case, why i was I immediately able to discover the address and names of two "CEO" family members just using a linkedin profile? The best part is when asked which member of the team the in thread and discord person is, their response is "why, so you can get me in trouble" immediately after they said that the CEO would be looking at the conversations anyways.

How could this project, an exchange stand? There are a lot of already existing exchanges that are present in the cryptoworld, some others are nothing to prove since they are around for quite sometimes, then how could this one survives?

It won't. Particularly with Devs who lie about their resumes.

Most all exchanges provide just basic trading tools and order types. Apollo will give traders more tools and options to trade. Not to mention the 24/7 customer support, lower fees using DAE tokens, liquidity from 3rd parties, and more.

Unless you have seen the news lately, you should know that nearly every exchange is hurting from explosive user growth this past year. We need more exchanges to reduce the stress on everyone and better the community. More specifically, we need exchanges that prepare for millions of users, and provide excellent service. Nowadays is not difficult to make up another "number 1 crypto-exchange" cause of github and I'm not sure it's good any more.

As plain text it is hard to understand the concept why there are two tokens. First is Dae token which you receive against direct investment and will be used as fuel inside the exchange while AVO token will be offered for raised money but has no value. I by myself will read technical part but this is bit complicated for new person to understand and could be made more simple.
