Title: Is it too late, to invest?
Post by: EnderZ on December 12, 2017, 11:25:37 PM
Hey guys.

Newbie to the forum here... :3

I've been wanting to invest in Bitcoin since the 3k$ mark. But I just haven't had the time, yes I know it was a big mistake waiting...
But I have about 4000$ to invest into Bitcoin (It's currently sitting with shares, will take a few days to pull out), I was wondering is it too late to invest it? Will it still grow? Will we see a big drop/crash soon?
My shares barely profit, if I make a few $$,$$$'s from Bitcoin, I would be more than happy since it would be doing better than my shares my advisor put me on.

I'm happy with Bitcoin, alt coins are too unstable for me in my opinion, and they have a much higher risk than Bitcoin.
Is it too late to invest?

first off, take anything you read on this forum with a grain of salt. we have our share of trolls on both sides: permabulls who think BTC will become the world's reserve currency next week, and permabears who are still talking about triple-digits.

personally, i hate when people ask me for advice about entries. in a long term speculative sense, i think it's always a good time to buy some BTC if you don't own any at all. cryptocurrency will transform the world economy and at some point, i believe there will be a very large transfer of wealth from today's economic powerholders to the crypto-rich. on what timeline that takes place? i don't know. the 2013 rally is a good example: buying at $1000 looked like a great idea on the way up. but then you had to sit through 3 years of market action to see any returns on it.

Will we see a big drop/crash soon?

it's impossible to say when it will happen. i wouldn't be surprise to see a blow-off top into $25,000+ first. but i think there will be an epic crash in the next couple months. i have $$ waiting on the exchanges to buy the blood.

You are absolutely right, it is full of people who are saying that the price will be over one hundred thousand  dollars during the next year, and they all think that they will be millionaires just by holding a few satoshis on their wallets foverever.

we have our share of trolls on both sides: permabulls who think BTC will become the world's reserve currency next week, and permabears who are still talking about triple-digits.

Haha this is just happening on reddit, just go to the bitcoin subreddit and you will see that everybody has the meme "hodl" fully instalated in there, just talk to someone and they will only say "hodl forever"

permabulls who think BTC will become the world's reserve currency next week

This is only caused by jealous people who were not able to invest during those times when bitcoin was at a lower price, they are just jealous and they all want to keep posting fud, there is nothing to be scared of.

and permabears who are still talking about triple-digits

You could look into dollar cost averaging - buying a set amount at a set time over an extended period.

If you'd started in late 2013 and finished up in 2015 you'd have 3-5x more coins for the same outlay than if you'd bought all in a panic at the peak.

Of course there's no point in comparing a specific period of the past to now, but it might also bring on a more objective mindset.

Will it continue to grow? If you're looking towards the next decade then you're still an early arrival.

Since you already have an investment in stocks you should be familiar with the risk involve in investing but in my opinion, if you are asking if you are late i do not think so Bitcoin has a lot of room to grow more I am still buying it at current price range. I also have investment in stocks and I know the profit is slow, If you are wondering when will it crash well nobody knows that for sure but I think it will not happen in the near future.

It has been asked many times if it is too late to invest. Just invest on what you can afford to risks, yet it's not too late to invest in bitcoin. Others invested late but still they are gaining profit more than they expected.

I always say that if you have to ask other for buying advice, it should be a signal that you probably shouldn't invest in Bitcoin at all. Currently you're not able to separate valuable input from garbage input, and thus again, shouldn't invest.

If you want to go through anyway, then at least accept the risks that are tied to this market, and don't use your entire capital at once. That is something a lot rookies tend to do, and from there limit themselves immensely.

Nowadays however it seems that people just jump into Bitcoin regardless of their lacking knowledge, so it doesn't come as a total surprise if OP ends up doing the same eventually. That's how things go here.

OP, if you wish to make your $4000 to something meaningful or "life changing" then I believe with Bitcoin's price being on $16500, it is too late for that. But you can still invest in altcoins. Though you have to choose well, most of them are scams.

I am holding my first altcoin myself, called Decred, and it is not going well. :(

No. its never too late to invest in bitcoin, maybe you should wait for the upcoming dip for you to buy some/more bitcoin at low price than these bitcoin current price now. even you witness the price-rocket of this bitcoin, its totally never too late to invest because this is just the beginning of the price-rocketing of our precious bitcoin. more price hike to come so brace your self to bought a bunch of bitcoin from this upcoming dip.

I'd suggest get the money on an exchange, put 1/3 into crypto straight away and the other 2/3rd in low buy orders, eg, 5$k bitcoin, similarly low for other coins which take your interest, and come back in 4 years, you'll probably be doing well. That way you won't feel like you're missing out, but I'd be very surprised if we didn't touch on old levels briefly once this leg up is finished, at least, it's always done that in the past.

It's a crazy guessing game for all of us!

It is never too late to invest in bitcoin. It all depends on your ability to take risks. The market is to himself that the price fluctuates. It depends on how long you want to invest. The decision is yours.

Honestly if you're just looking for something that could potentially outperform a few months of stocks then you could definitely enter the BTC market now with your $4000, and set a cashout target of modestly $4500-5000 depending on your needs.

However i don't think that you'll be able to see the growth from $400-$17k again, since that would basically mean BTC going to close to $1 million per coin which is something that i dont feel like will happen for a long time or even at all.

But is it too late to enter just for a quick flip? No, not at all.

Altcoin volatility is great for increasing your bitcoin stack. The bounces can be so easy to trade sometimes that it feels like stealing. That said, I've been around the block a few times, and suffered some nasty drawdowns in my day. People think Bitcoin takes conviction to hold...altcoins bring it to a whole new level. ;)

As far as long term investment goes, it's not too late. But if I were sending USD to an exchange right now, I'd probably sit on the sidelines for a bit. There's a good chance it'll go higher -- it's really unpredictable -- but FUD abounds, and the one thing I've learned about crypto is there will always be dips. If you draw a trendline at log scale from the Sept. 13 - Nov. 11 bottoms, I'm looking to buy any dip near that trendline.

Our resident guru, Masterluc, is looking for a correction to the $10k area. He's been pretty accurate in his years of analysis. But either way, I'm pretty sure this going higher eventually. No signs of a blow-off top yet, which actually means there's still lots of gains to be made in altcoins.

Is it too late to invest?

My method for crypto allocation is 80-90% BTC cold storage, 5-10% altcoins, and any remainder in my BitMex account, for short-term scalping. There's so much money to be made scalping these markets, especially the big cap altcoins. Low caps are more about holding through thick and thin until they bubble....

ABSOLUTELY NOT the train is still sitting at the station. Bitcoin along with other cryptos are still in their very early stages and not yet “accepted” by the majority of society. Think about it, if you were to walk outside and ask a 10 people if they knew anything about bitcoin the answer would most likely be no and if they do know what it is they don’t know much about it if anything at all.

invest money that you can afford to lose.

You have to understand that the market is really in a state where people are getting too greedy right now, but you have to consider all your options and do not end up seeing bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme since you are so much particular about the profit. If you want to get in on the ride now, no doubt, you can just do so. The most important thing is that you are going to be a part of the future and do not panic really when you see the value going down because it MIGHT. If I were you, I will buy me some little now depending on the cash you have anyway and wait for the possibility of any dip and then buy more. However, if you are so keen on the profit, you may not be patient enough to be a part of the future for too long.

You will be asking same question again in near future if you don't decide to invest now.Take a decision now and invest in bitcoin(not more then you can afford to lose).I am sure if you keep hodling your bitcoins long term you will earn a decent profit. It's never late to invest in bitcoin. 17K price is still undervalued in bitcoin.I am pretty sure one day a single bitcoin will be worth a million dollars. It's still only 8 years since bitcoin was created and we are still in early years of bitcoin. So it's not late to invest in bitcoin now :)

to be honest i do not think we're moving like that chart,
because that chart only works for Bubble assets and in my opinion Bitcoin is far from Bubble,at least it's not the bubble at this moment.
lately we're seeing a lot of massive run due to japanese positive move and also other news that we're currently waiting for.

it's never late to invest our money into it because it still has a lot of room to grow in the future.
it has not implemented yet fully in our life but the demand ridiculously high,
which mean whenever it started to do it and successfully implement it,does not that mean the price will increase a lot in the future?

Fair point but I do believe the public and investors entering the game will cause a "gold rush" before we stabilize.
Everyone at my work is buying hardware wallets, buying altcoins, doing crypt... all with $$$$$ in their eye....

So a bubble and a wither down to stability is my guess.

I have answered about the same subject multiple times that never is late to invest in Bitcoin. look at current trends, demand for Bitcoin is a huge property. Also like them, and of course the great demand, the price will increase. the important thing is that you have to accept the risk when investing in it

The wait was not at lost, you've made your justifications, most of us here are afraid to lose our money. Investing on something that you are probably sure of is what we call taking the risk and putting the fears aside. Since you have already got your capital back, why not withdarw it to fiat and leave all your money in digital currencies for you to ease your worries. If you have lots to spare so, then you should probably wait for it to burs more even further.

We are glad that you are happy with Bitcoin's price progress. Altcoins are not just the ones stable here, even Bitcoin can fall down even just for a minute, but as wee see it's far from doing so and most of the whales are manipulating it. You could probably invest in altcoins even just a little, it's better to have a reserved than to have nothing at all.

Always be optimistic when it comes to bitcoin.
I have my own regrets and it was a lot of time that I didnt do it just because I am still waiting for a drop. Even when it took just a $1k price, I hoped or did thought that it is gonna go back to $400 a piece.
But this now, it just took a little time and it is so far away with the price.
Now, I have this kind of thinking that there is no late when it comes to investing with bitcoin.

In my opinion, Maybe this is the best period of time to invest because it's expected that the value of bitcoin will progress quickly. Besides of that investment is very profitable, though that maybe there's some deflation to earning money, but surely There will always be gaining.
Otherwise, you must try the investment to know these advantages.

To be honest, I'm a big believer in Bitcoin and I don't mind the bubble chart. The only problem I have with it is that it appears to be linear scale, which isn't realistic as its movement doesn't account for changes in price.

The cycle is spot on, though. It's much like a Wyckoff cycle. Accumulation --> Markup --> Distribution --> Markdown --> Return to long term trend (chances are it will continue). It even says "Return to the mean" which isn't really indicative of a bubble. It's indicative of price volatility that has far outpaced the long-term MAs. Eventually price always returns to the long term moving averages. But you might be waiting a while, and the price will be higher once it finally intersects with them.

It's impossible to completely ignore Bitcoin these times with the media reporting non stop about Bitcoin. If you don't trust yourself and have to force yourself to forget about it, which most of the times doesn't work at all, especially in current times as I mentioned before, you are better off not buying anything at all. Investing in Bitcoin should be a joy and exciting at the same time, and not something that makes you suffer and lose a lot of sleep over. It's a great opportunity for everyone, but most of the people make it unnecessarily difficult for themselves. I have seen articles already pop up stating that people put themselves in debt by taking out mortgages to invest these funds into Bitcoin, which is ridiculous.

There us the possibility that bitcoin in n will decrease but it doesn't mean that are now late investing with bitcoin. You know if there will be a craving happen then all you need to do is to have patience in waiting until bitcoin pump again. And that is the key to every libraries rather than courageous and wise.

I would say that bitcoin highest price is very far from the present, it will grow at least couple of years from now. If I had to investing, I would surely pick the Bitcoin.

Be careful with the over-bullish advice you are giving the OP, everyone. Remember, he is a newbie, and I believe Bitcoin will be in for another big correction. Plus we do not want him to buy at the top and panic sell when traders start pushing the price down.

I Am also late but I already made a 4x profit when I bought btc at 4k..  Its not too late dude.  You can also buy ltc eth iota.
Most times, it usually feel like it is too late but the truth is no one can know. One good thing about this world is that there is so much room for growth and at the long run, once you understand where you have invested in, you will not really regret it. Do not be too particular about the profit though, focus more on the fact that you are buying in into the future. Understand the volatility as well and don't be so much in a haste to make panic decisions.

You really need to sit down first and understand the trend of the market you are coming into and then check out all possibilities. I am pretty sure you have been following the news and then you have been seeing some of the things going on right now with bitcoin.

However, you have to also be smart and do not get too greedy. If you are in for the profit, then trust me, you will not last. This is a volatile market and what you are seeing now is a market that is being pumped. Put that into consideration before investing now.

That is one thing everyone should always consider. The market may look established now but anything can still happen which is why it is called a market.

Do not have so much expectation and if you want to have an idea of what could happen, then you should look back into 2013 so you can see all that happened and then expect that anything of such can still happen. It is better you know that this is a volatile market and investing what won't make you panic is just better.

first off, take anything you read on this forum with a grain of salt. we have our share of trolls on both sides: permabulls who think BTC will become the world's reserve currency next week, and permabears who are still talking about triple-digits.

personally, i hate when people ask me for advice about entries. in a long term speculative sense, i think it's always a good time to buy some BTC if you don't own any at all. cryptocurrency will transform the world economy and at some point, i believe there will be a very large transfer of wealth from today's economic powerholders to the crypto-rich. on what timeline that takes place? i don't know. the 2013 rally is a good example: buying at $1000 looked like a great idea on the way up. but then you had to sit through 3 years of market action to see any returns on it.

Will we see a big drop/crash soon?

it's impossible to say when it will happen. i wouldn't be surprise to see a blow-off top into $25,000+ first. but i think there will be an epic crash in the next couple months. i have $$ waiting on the exchanges to buy the blood.

It's all about risk management in every type of investment, especially here where you really need close followup as price spikes are a very common occurrence. One thing you should remember though is that in most investments, long term > short term gains. It's all about holding.

I think everyone has the right to give a prediction, it is a normal thing to happen. We do not see that he is a beginner or an experienced person. Everyone has the right to do so because that determines is the method of analysis done. Investing in Bitcoin for me is not too late because we have a chance to make a profit.

Investing in Bitcoin can be anytime and I am confident that Bitcoin will continue to grow, It is a principle that says we believe in Bitcoin. But for some people there must be a dubious. It is a choice and a decision is in each of us.

Never too late cause you didnt even join at a small amount of price like me i did know bitcoin but choose to ignore it. Not like you know its legit because it is growing popularity.
For now it is kind of risky if but only if you want a good price for now. My advice is to speculate on the value and wait up on the lowered value of it and take advantage of it while it is still fresh in short buy it for a small price.

If someone told me few years ago that bitcoin price will grow so fast - I would never belive, now they say it will grow even faster, but you know what - I still dont belive. This is the main problem of all traders.

nope it is not too late bro you can still invest now because if you're looking for a long term then right now is still the best time to invest but if you are looking for a short term investment then you should wait till the price crash again.
It is a speculation for now that we should expect a crash sooner or later. Sure, it is expected because right now the market is in a parabolic state. It is good to invest now for sure, but just in case you see the price dip later on, you should understand that getting scared will make you lose out in the long run.

It is not a HYIP scheme and people right now are just getting in because they want to get rich overnight and that is bad, so make sure you are not in the same shoe as those people that I just mentioned.

This is the important thing, understanding the market you are getting in to. Bitcoin is in a strange state and many are expecting a crash but it could surge to 100k before such a thing happens. If you invest now you are taking a bigger risk probably than at some previous times but there is also great potential returns. If you are comfortable with risk and won't panic at the first signs of danger then go for it. Even if we see a crash, in a few years time after that we will surely recover.

Yeah if you consider bitcoins as a long term investment then its never late to buy bitcoins as with limited supply it will take price much higher in future but if you are looking for shot term benefits then buying at now can be risky as price can fall in coming days and to make profits from it you need to wait longer.

I know it's not late. Bitcoin is just starting to show its tremendous potential so buying now would be a good decision. However, if you'll ask me whether to go in to Bitcoin, I would prefer ETH, BCH, or LTC. Not just they are cheaper that Bitcoin but also they are showing great potential as well. Though Bitcoin is the best coin there is, buying a small amount would give you small profits also.

Yes but we should not be so bullish that all we tell newbies is to "buy buy buy!". We should be responsible enough to tell them what is really happening. Plus they should be careful, especially now with some people starting to mortgage their homes to buy Bitcoins. I believe we are in bubble territory.

This question has been asked over and over again. If you can see the chart, every month and every year Bitcoin's price increase has been impressive. Specially this year with 17x the growth from january. Theres never too late for investing in Bitcoin, all you just need is the perfect timing when to buy and when to sell. So, there will be a huge speculation that Bitcoin may undergo price correction next year. Be always on the watch, it may happen anytime soon and that would be a perfect time to buy in.

Although the price of bitcoin now is quite expensive, but we are sure that it will still continue to increase in the future. Don't get easily swayed by what you read in the forum that bitcoin will crash anytime soon. We need to be positve and have the guts to take the risk.

Buying bitcoins is always expensive. When people bought bitcoin at $ 300 it seemed a huge amount. Now when the bitcoin price to $ 18,000 is the price they paid seems ridiculous. So it was and always will be. Next year when the price of bitcoin will be about $ 40,000, many will regret that did not buy it for $ 20,000. Everything is relative.

From my experience in the bitcoin , it's never late to invest in the bitcoin but there will be difference of profit you hain in the future. Like that if you invest the money in bitcoin now the times you may get more profit from the bitcoin because now a days the price of bitcoin reguraly increase and it may be double in the future. But if you invest the money in bitcoin after 2 years you  may also get profit from the bitcoin but this profit is less than the past profit .

From my experience towards the bitcoin it's not too late to invest in bitcoin there are also a chance to invest in bitcoin and earn the more money from the bitcoin because now a days also the demand of bitcoin is also increasing by seeing the continuous increase in price of bitcoin the number of user of bitcoin is also increase . So there is a chance to invest the money in bitcoin and earn the more money in the future because in the future the price of bitcoin is also increase.

After reaching this price, many people consider bitcoin too expensive to invest in and they think it's too late for them to make their investment. Actually, it's never too late to invest in bitcoin. It's true that it is a bit late, but, you don't know how much it can reach in the coming months. If you're planning on making an investment, do not hesitate. Don't wait for a drop because there is no signs of a drop. Bitcoin price is stable for a long while now and waiting now is paying extra money later.

How can you say its to late for investing with bitcoins since every year bitcoins reached its another ATH and maybe we can earn more if we invest today, and look what other people think before they doubting to buy bitcoins at the past ATH since they are afraid to lose if bitcoins price will drop and now they are doubting since they possibly earn if they didn't let their fear interrupt them.

TBH, you're a tad late. But right now the rally isnn't over yet and if you enter now there is absolutely no reason that bitcoin can't go to $30k or more by the end of next year. But it definitely won't be as big as this year imo.

You just need to be super careful as at this point in time, the price is quite fragile and you need to time your exit right.

Bitcoin can go down, it just hasn't gone down for like half a year now in any major fashion. Anyone telling you to blindly invest is stupid. But i do believe that there is still money to be made.

Yes you can say that it is too late to invest in Bitcoin because the price is 18,000$ which is not a small amount. It is not affordable by everyone .Only the people who have enough money can invest in it .Other people may arrange the money from somewhere to invest in it because they will earn enough profit in small period of time to return the amount of money they borrowed .

Even so,if he or someone else would like to invest inside of it,then they can also do it,for the reason that one of the main characteristics is that it is very divisible although it is true as you just mentioned above, the price of a single BTC is very high but after what I just mentioned, even so, it is possible that if someone decides to invest they can do it,however, the decision or responsibility to do it or not do it depends completely on each user or investor.

Do not even bother whoever says its late to invest. You need set your mind to investing in this so that you can gather the news about the bitcoin future and other opinions from economist and experts in cryptocurrency.
You can earn more just by simply holding for few months and you cannot earn like this from any stock market or any kind of trading.
Just try to gain some knowledge about cryptocurrency technology. The main advantage is decentralized platform which means no one can control to kick you in loss. Its totally based on the supply and demand. Remember do not panic even it goes down. It will pump again.

It’s not a good time to invest and I think no one can afford to buy bitcoin or invest in bitcoin because its end of the year and its price is rocking this time and I’m hundred present sure that its price will go more high because it’s now unstoppable so we need to wait for a right time because if someone will invest now a days in bitcoin so I don’t  think so he can take any profit from it so bitcoin is on a very price now a days.

Honestly it's bit late to invest in bitcoin if you are new to bitcoin as it is no more affordable for a common person to invest into bitcoin like it used to be at some point of time like you can get couple of bitcoin by shedding $500 but it's not the case anymore so we need to make smart decision by just looking for better altcoin to invest as today's altcoin will be tomorrow's bitcoin.

It's never been late to invest to anything specially in altcoins you will find a good profit when investing in a newly released altcoins just look for a good altcoins that you look that there's a potentials to be on the marketcap. Investing in a small or big money for any altcoins is quite a good choice, you can hold them for a long time and the best advice is not to invest in a single coin but rather invest in more coins.

I would say that bitcoin highest price is very far from the present, it will grow at least couple of years from now. If I had to investing, I would surely pick the Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is now unstoppable its price is very high and no one can buy bitcoin now a days and there is also a possibility that its price is going more high then this price next week because its end of the year so now a days no one can invest all its users are selling bitcoins to take their profit from it because they keep on hold bitcoin from a long time and I’m also selling my bitcoins from last week and next week I will sell some more bitcoins to get my profit.

I think not, according to survey the aoption is less than 1 percent so I think Bitcoin is far from its maximun price.

Be careful with the over-bullish advice you are giving the OP, everyone. Remember, he is a newbie, and I believe Bitcoin will be in for another big correction. Plus we do not want him to buy at the top and panic sell when traders start pushing the price down.

For me ot doesnt matter if it will have a price correction, he is into investing so for the long term whatever prices you will buy BTC nowadays is still a pretty good investment.

There are various levels of adoption. What we experience in current times is the average joe jumping into Bitcoin in order to obtain some profits. It's basically them riding out the hype. Another level of adoption should come from the side of institutions. If they at some point in the future allocate even a small percentage of their entire portfolio to Bitcoin, people not having bought any Bitcoins will start wishing that they entered at current levels (levels they consider to be insanely high right now). How far current adoption is in terms of percentages is impossible for anyone to accurately calculate, but one doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to understand how much more future growth potential there is.

yes it is possible and sure that the price of bitcoin will increase much higher in the coming weeks and the investors of earlier and today will get their profit. So investment right now is also beneficial like the early investors. No one have to worry about bitcoin and have to invest without any worry as it now do not have any risk for the investors. It is saving our money.

It depend on the investors pocket whether it is late or not and I don’t think so this value is so high if bitcoin gain this level popularity at the start then now price are on six figures and this value is not late mate investing in this time will bring millions of profit in coming days and all this will be very amusing when the currency mode will get activated and proper circulation of bitcoin will occur decide fast mate and get in sooner.

Nah it's not. You'll have to look for good projects with a god future to invest in for long term. Few good ones I can recommend are POWR, ETH, NEO, etc. Know that cryptocurrency is still in its infant stage. More growth is expected next year.

Bitcoin can still grow much better than the current one. It is true that you are saying that we are not too late to invest in Bitcoin. There are still plenty of opportunities to take advantage of Bitcoin investments. I also have known Bitcoin quite a while and I see some opportunities that we can use, currently Bitcoin is experiencing high volatility. This we can use to get Bitcoin at a cheap price and then sell it when Bitcoin price increases. Come together to achieve a positive result because only with our belief in Bitcoin is what will make us able to realize the dream we want.

Well, experts predict where that by the end of the year Bitcoin will again return to its maximum reading of 20,000 dollars. Until the end of the year there are still two days and I think that this period is too small to see a price drop. Although you need to study the market and understand why there is a price fluctuation rather small period of time, while not having a real reason.

Hello and welcome to this community and to the crypto economy. Here you're going to quite a lot of things which by the way will amuse you to a very extent. The price right now is around 14,000$ which would extremely high for a new user. The price correction is taking place,so if you're willing to wait and buy when the price drops go ahead but a lot of regrets have come in this year after the price went up skyrocketting. And even you have regretted. Altcoins are risky for everyone but its worth the risk I'd say. Trading altcoins will give you a better return than shares and sometimes better return that bitcoin too. Its a fact.

What's been mentioned in the final sentence is the true fact that takes three price to reach bigger value. When the price falls need to make use of it as an opportunity to invest, because the growth will surely happen now or then. If we find this to be late, maybe by the upcoming year same time you'll feel bad for regretting the chance you got an investing for a bigger profit.

Crypto investment is better when you diversify your portfolio. It's never to late because every crypto has its day. Bitcoin has a good future, however altcoins are simple presentations on how far the blockchain can go

As far as bitcoin is concern,  its absolute to put investment in it because you can really get profit from it. Although, sometimes a investors would always in a nervous state when the price is going  down. LOL. That's why you will heard that  people panic and weak hands have been shaken, because they easily sold their coins. They don't look on it at long term. So its not really too late to buy bitcoin, however, you should be here for the long haul.

Altcoins is good as well specially for day trading. So much movement that if you got lucky, you can earn huge profit in a short amount of time. And I agree that you have to diversify so that you can something to fall in terms of your investment.

May will not take all the consideration in prices when investing crypto, but also we should include the time when it start. Knowing that bitcoin is a fast growing investment, it could be sure that you can generate profit from this if you invested starting today.

Yes, bitcoin is unpredictable these days. it is currently under serious market correction. thus, I suggest you hold your money until when the bitcoin price is fully stabilized. Investing in bitcoin today might lead two things whether making profit or losing some the next day, that is why i suggest you hold on to your money for now and wait for a day or two to see how the market will perform.

about a month ago, Bitcoin rose almost to 20,000 dollars and if we take this price into account, then for 12,000 dollars I will have a very strong desire to buy in order to wait for the maximum of 20,000 dollars. Perhaps the beginner does not know all the nuances of Bitcoin, but simple mathematical calculations can do.

Trading in crypto is a beautiful and skillful endeavour. The easiest thing to do is invest in as much as you can manage in as many as you can monitor. This way you can easily change the game of trading at will and all your portfolio will not be dependent on one asset class.

It was too late to invest in bitcoin when the price was $100, too late when it was 1.000$, too late when it was $10.000 and it will be too late when it is $100.000.

Spot on. If we have to believe others, it is basically always too late. I remember how people have constantly been opening threads asking whether or not it's too late to buy at $500>$1000>$2000>$3000, etc. These people don't known what they are buying themselves into, and they probably never will if they have to ask others for buying advice. I am not at all a fan of looking at historical charts to obtain valuable information that applies to how the market is in current times, but in this case I am because it perfectly shows the long term growth that we have been going through. It should be a confirmation that ANY time is a good moment to buy.

User who feel this to be late to make an investment into bitcoin, it's good to invest into any of the altcoins that have got low value and good scope for growth in the falling years. One such is the leader to the entire altcoins ethereum. The growth has begun and expected to reach a much higher value by the year end.

yeah i agree, its not  too late to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin is just starting yet and it can still grow more because of its demand that it gets from public due to the fact that bitcoin is useful in terms of buying , selling , trading , mining , etc or any other things.  although some people might think that investing in bitcoin is too late  anymore because their only basing on its price and not on the specs or characteristics of it however they can still buy bitcoin in a smaller amount to be able to afford it.

It's never been too late to invest to bitcoin. This is what I'm saying to my friends that are asking me about bitcoin. Every time they will say it's late, I'm asking them this, when do you want to get in to bitcoin? When it's already $100,000 or when it's already worth a million dollars per bitcoin. And upon hearing that they are starting to change their minds and realize that it's not that late to invest to bitcoin.

I think it's never too late to invest, the price movement of Bitcoin / Altcoins does make us to think about risks more deeply, as if it's scaring or making us hesitate.
But I'm sure, if we really put a strong intention and a strong belief in choosing the right coins to invest, we will succeed.
Fluctuating prices certainly will not continue to be in the redness, given that there are still many enthusiasts to invest in crypto, it seems we've no need too afraid / worrying about the risk with excessive.

The present bitcoin price is lower than its peaked price last year and still going down. This is the right time to buy for some would be investors of bitcoin while the price is still in the bearish mood. If you are an experienced investor in the cryptocurrency, there is no such thing as is it too late, every time is opportunity and always know when and what to invest.

I think everything is not lost, of course, it would be much more profitable earlier, but bitcoin is growing in price and will continue to move forward, so I think now you can still invest and wait a bit. In the last year, bitcoin has grown very much and will continue to grow.

This was posted on December 13 and it's price way back then is around $15,000 - $16,000 and it went $19,000 after a couple of days and now back at $14,700. This means that we have seen its peak and there will be a good time to see it's peak soon so if you want to invest, it's not that late.

There no late in investing. As long as you want or your willing to invest. You can still do it. Now is there right time toninvest if you already have a chance to do it grab it and never let go. It is never too late to invest in the world of crypto. The most important thing is to make sure you are picking the right coin, endeavour that you are not missing on anything regarding the news about the coin, and as long as you know that what you are holding sure have prospect, then you have nothing to worry about because the coin will definitely do well in the long run.

The stock market can give to you in average 6% per year in profits, it is not a lot but if you remain invested in for the long term then you could have a comfortable retirement, but with bitcoin you can earn a lot more money than that, but you need to understand that just as you can make money with bitcoin you can also lose if you do not know what you are doing.

It's not late to invest.

My suggestion, buy cheap altcoins with a good project and a limited supply... avoid coin that the supply are trillion coins.

CoinExchange.io and Cryptopia has some of cheap coins, buy and forget for while... I did this 3 months ago with DeepOnion, Linda, BTCz and now worth some money...

Or buy altcoins with a very limited supply, as BTW (27 mi) or BTCz (21 bi)

The number of coins does not matter. What is important is the total market cap not the number of coins.

Anyway, I don't think it's late to invest. It's a good time to invest in bitcoin and altcoins and trade and fill your bag for future. There were many people thought that it was late to invest in the past year And they regret. If you don't invest now, you might regret next year or even sooner.

I don't think it's too late at all. If I had any extra income I'd buy some more now that the price went down a bit, but I guess I'll just stick with what I have. I think the price can easily double in the next couple of months. Hell it might double in the next couple of weeks given that mid-January is typically bonus season for Wall Street. Lots of young guys with fat bonus checks and disposable income to buy something exciting with. I have a feeling the price of Bitcoin is going to ATHs soon. Over the course of the year, of course it'll be much higher than we are now.

Unless you feel like taking major risks on sh*tcoins that are getting pumped and dumped left and right, I would definitely get some BTC and HODL.

Yes, if you do not invest, it will be too late. With bitcoin, it's never too late if you want to invest. 2017 investment at the beginning of the year, the end of the year you will x17, x18 your balance. I think 2018 is also very likely.

Like i always say, its never to late to invest in bitcoin, bitcoin is the easiest investment form that i ever did, unlike doing stocks (which i dont understand at all) investing in bitcoin will give you much larger profit for a long term investment than stocks.

Will it still grow? Will we see a big drop/crash soon?

Since the bubble has been pop we won see any big dip that will happen anytime soon, as for the price of bitcoin yes it will continue to growth but it will take months, maybe around the 3rd quarter we will see another bull run.

I'm happy with Bitcoin, alt coins are too unstable for me in my opinion, and they have a much higher risk than Bitcoin.

Yeah price of bitcoins went too high in the year 2017 and the trend started from the beginning of the year itself when price was $1k and by the end of the year we saw price hitting $20k and now price of bitcoin is declining sharply so its a good price to invest in bitcoins and hold it for next couple of months as price will bounce back once again in long term and this is a great opportunity to buy bitcoins at cheaper price but I think that it can go much lower in next 1 or 2 days so better to wait for while and take decision accordingly.

Well I don't think we can safely predict anything a few years out yet, but I think that sounds reasonable considering how far it's already grown. I find it fascinating to see old threads on this forum from even last year or a couple of years ago where people are trying to speculate the 2017 or 2018 price and they are WAY off the mark. Most of them were predicting somewhere around 5k by 2018, and here we are at around 3 times higher the price. If the past is any indication, our speculation now is probably way off as well. I'm not expecting anything big in the way 2017 went, but if the price doubles this year (or even in a few weeks or couple of months)? That sounds completely reasonable to me.

first off, take anything you read on this forum with a grain of salt. we have our share of trolls on both sides: permabulls who think BTC will become the world's reserve currency next week, and permabears who are still talking about triple-digits.

personally, i hate when people ask me for advice about entries. in a long term speculative sense, i think it's always a good time to buy some BTC if you don't own any at all. cryptocurrency will transform the world economy and at some point, i believe there will be a very large transfer of wealth from today's economic powerholders to the crypto-rich. on what timeline that takes place? i don't know. the 2013 rally is a good example: buying at $1000 looked like a great idea on the way up. but then you had to sit through 3 years of market action to see any returns on it.

Will we see a big drop/crash soon?

it's impossible to say when it will happen. i wouldn't be surprise to see a blow-off top into $25,000+ first. but i think there will be an epic crash in the next couple months. i have $$ waiting on the exchanges to buy the blood.
from my views its not too late to invest in bitcoin there is a time to invest in bitcoin and earn the profit from the bitcoin because now a days the price of bitcoin is $14000 and this price will countinously increase in the future but if you wait for some time more to invest in the bitcoin then you get nothing from the bitcoin. This is the best opportunity to get more profit from the bitcoin by investing the money in bitcoin now a time.

Its never late to invest in bitcoins as price will continue to grow higher in future and right now this is the best time to invest in bitcoins as price is not too high now and has fallen back in past few weeks so if you invest now and hold for couple of months then you can expect good returns on your investments as there is a possibility that bitcoin will achieve 25000 usd price in this year so if you sell at that price then you will be making best profits.

from my experience in bitcoin from last 2 years it is not too late to invest in bitcoin there is a very big chance to invest in bitcoin now a days because now a time the price of bitcoin is very low approx to $14000 so there is very big opportunity to invest in bitcoin because this will reguraly increase in the future and may reach to approx $25000 at the end of this year so it is good time to invest if you late some time more then you get nothing much benefits from the bitcoin.

I think it is not. Also, I do even think that this is the best time to invest in Bitcoin because its market value is lower than its price last month which makes the probability for its value to be back on its peak when its market value eventually increase again. So investing now will be an advantage to earn huge profit in the future as simple as that. So just invest to it now.

I think never too late cause you didnt even join at a small amount of price like me I did know bitcoin but choose to ignore it. Not like you know its legit because it is growing popularity. My advice is just to check with the market the value before you take decision. But for me never too late to join in investment because bitcoin is no limitation it is depends on the person if they want to investment or not.
I think it is no longer time to invest in Bitcoin, because the price of Bitcoin is almost fixed, so you need to invest in Bitcoin, not the projects and developers. Still discussing the transfer fees and confirmation periods. Solutions to these problems must come.

It’s never late to invest in bitcoin but there is one thing very important about bitcoin that you have to check the price if the price is high so then you have to wait for some time and when you have extra money so then you can also buy bitcoin because bitcoin price is still going high if you invest in bitcoin now a days so you can and I’m sure after some time it will give you a good profit because bitcoin is changing its price very fast.

Now is a good time to invest. At this price it's worth investing. You can make a good profit. It is worth to invest in the long term.

No it's not too late to invest in my opinion, it's the right time because bitcoin looks pretty cheap right now. If you hold it for a few years maybe it will go up to 100k, that's what my grandad told me.
That's right, it is gonna be a big opportunity to buy since bitcoin price are down and hold for awhile waiting it goes back.
Do considering that it is a little bit late from the train because we are not lucky inform from it's existence but still have chances and there's still time to catch-up. I know everyone will earned profit from here and imagining it's price before it is already multiplied for many times.

It is too late if you think we are going to ever see bitcoin at 3k ever again but it is not too late if you are willing to invest in bitcoin right now, bitcoin is now below 11k and it may go even lower so prepare all the cash you can afford and invest in bitcoin.

The market value of bitcoin this time is around $11k to $12k, and it seems a great opportunity for those traders to buy more bitcoin. It's not too late mate, this is your chance to correct all your mistakes that you've made in the past year.

Now that the market is down and there are some panic sellers who wants to cash out their BTCs, its a good time to Buy. Last time we had this price of BTC was last December 2017. Everyone wished that they could go back and grab some Bitcoins at this price. Now that BTC is $11,000 what are you waiting? Afraid that it might continue to drop? Bitcoin is not for you if you dont believe in it and just riding a band wagon.

You're not late. Precisely this a very good time for you to invest in bitcoin. The value has weakened quite hard, this just the beginning year and maybe mid 2018 bitcoin really much higher.

No, it is never too late to invest in bitcoin. It is not the end for bitcoin, the bitcoin price will continue growing in the future. You can invest in bitcoin now and plan for the future.
The problem is that people want to have the old prices back and that is never going to happen, someone that bought after the Mt Gox crash took a great risk, many people got out of bitcoin and many thought that bitcoin was never going to recover, those people deserve to get the rewards they got so people investing now do not have the right to ask for cheaper prices when they had the chance to invest and they did not do it.

Price stays at $9,800 and it was seen to move at $10,000+. Imagine that bitcoin has went through $20,000 before and now it has been down with almost 50% from before so it's totally a good time to invest. You're not late and you are just in time to get more bitcoins. Wait for the futures to expire and that will result the price to skyrocket again so while it's still seen at $9k get in already.

The current market value of Bitcoin and altcoins are the best time to invest because it may take a longer time for market to decline to this level in the nearest future so now is the opportunity to buy at lower price awaiting any time soon when its value will appreciate in double fold.

first off, take anything you read on this forum with a grain of salt. we have our share of trolls on both sides: permabulls who think BTC will become the world's reserve currency next week, and permabears who are still talking about triple-digits.

personally, i hate when people ask me for advice about entries. in a long term speculative sense, i think it's always a good time to buy some BTC if you don't own any at all. cryptocurrency will transform the world economy and at some point, i believe there will be a very large transfer of wealth from today's economic powerholders to the crypto-rich. on what timeline that takes place? i don't know. the 2013 rally is a good example: buying at $1000 looked like a great idea on the way up. but then you had to sit through 3 years of market action to see any returns on it.

Will we see a big drop/crash soon?

it's impossible to say when it will happen. i wouldn't be surprise to see a blow-off top into $25,000+ first. but i think there will be an epic crash in the next couple months. i have $$ waiting on the exchanges to buy the blood.
from my experience that it not too late to invest in bitcoin because now a days the price  of bitcoin is decreasing so it is very a good opportunity to invest in the bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is approx $7000  because after that the price of bitcoin will increase to very high rate so there is a golden chance present in front of you that by investing money in bitcoin and get more benefit from the bitcoin in the future.

It is up to us what groupe of analysts we believe more.
Me, I do not have the imagination that bitcoin will turn worthless.
There are so many people convinced of bitcoin, it will keep on the evolving track.
Of course that does not count for many others, especially the small currencies.

Black tuesday or black friday choose for yourself, but on this question isbit late all of us had opportunity to invest in that moment when prices were down for almost all two days. Its not late to invest, I think the ones who bought on top will have returns too just they will have to wait for that, and buying in dips makes your return much higher.
Look around, look at the prices of course its not too late for investing in crypto currencies, people do that now more then before in my opinion.

when the price of bitcoin rose to the hoary peaks, then many expected a decrease in the price of Yes Bitcoin to buy cheaper. And when the price really fell practical in two, everyone started to panic. I can not understand the logic. Why panic if there is a good opportunity to buy Bitcoin cheaper to make a profit several times more in the future.

Yeah true why many people think that bitcoin price drop is a bad thing. precisely you should start to think that bitcoin price drop is a golden opportunity for you to buy bitcoins at a cheap price. do not panic easily against the fluctuations that occur if you do not want to be late for the second time then do not miss this opportunity to buy dude. you know that currently bitcoin prices are still below average due to panic selling some time ago. I think you should take advantage of this opportunity to buy..

The fact is that the crypto currency is becoming popular, but every coin has its own sphere of activity. And Bitcoin will not be as popular as it was before, especially after people lost their money, invested in Bitcoin with its active growth.

Is not too late to invest in Bitcoin and altcoins because at the moment their price are still on the decline direction and is a strong hope that their value will soon appreciate but that will happen i can't tell though but it will be rational for you to invest your money at their current market value of Bitcoin than to wait till later hoping that their price will decline further which may not happen.

That's a good positive thinking and knowledge is certainly a power. Price may decrease but it's not something to worry much, it will surely soar again and when it happens huge return will be expected to be gained, but first you should know how to strategize and create plans. Study to improve skills, to be prepared for unexpected circumstances, and challenge yourself to experience more. You might have missed some previous opportunities, but that doesn't mean you're too late to take for next other opportunities.

Who told it is too late, this is also the right time to buy because the price of bitcoin is not too high. The values gets fluctuates only. So this the right time to invest in bitcoin. If you are good and knowledgeable in in bitcoin market means you know this is the time to invest. Because if you invest now and hold it for future. The price will increase in future. At that time you can sell your bitcoin and earn more profit than you invest.
It's not about who came first or last, it's more on having the determination to gain more knowledge,to be strategic, and to have a positive outlook in life amidst crisis and fall. I don't think it's too late, opportunity comes at the right time and it depends on us how we let it in, value it, and flourish it.

Well, if you already have bought bitcoin during the dip, then somehow i can convinced you that investing in bitcoin in particular is not yet late or too late. Even if you invest in a 20,000$ price, for me, it's not yet too late because i am very optimistic person who thinks and believes that bitcoin will have a 100,000$ price in the coming years.

Bitcoin is still the highest price of $ 7,683 compared to other cryptoes.
The fixed amount of supply of bitcoin is intended so that bitcoin can grow and become stable in subsequent years. On this basis it is never too late for anyone who wants to invest in bitcoin.
However, due to lack of supervision from the government, has spawned several negative responses from speculators, who predicted that cryptocurrency would not last long. But this's understandable because Bitcoin's not supported by physical form, state or banking. Only market sentiment alone can regulate Bitcoin especially supply and demand. Although bitcoin has a clear advantage for such a structured market, there's a serious risk that can not be ignored. If you can ignore those risks, investing in Bitcoin is a very valuable undertaking.
