Bitcoins look like they are stock-like ways of investing However, bitcoin and what can help us to live, the scene can actually be used? :)

yes. many people think that bitcoin is just an investment in the internet world, but actually bitcoin covers all aspects, trade, transactions, development, and others. I think everyone should start to realize that bitcoin is already a part of our lives.

To be honest, I did not see someone using bitcoin in the real world, because bitcoin is still banned in my country and there is no channel to support the use of bitcoin in reality.

From most of the money which is coming in right now, are at least came in in the month of Dec I think ALL if not most of that money was from people who were trying to get rich quick by buying some quick bitcoin off of coinbase and trying to see if they can make some quick cash. Most of these people did lose some money, but when we do have another run up it's going to be something insane as more people are going to feel FOMO and want to get involved in the money making.

I think it's true for now many people who invest in bitcoin because tempted to benefit from the development of bitcoin prices are increasing and of course some people believe because they before investing already read and analyze bitcoin growth.

Its definitely a part of our lives and will continue to grow. The fact I see bitcoin ATMs in convenience stores here in Canada, and the option to purchases houses in the US with bitcoin In the short term i've mostly moved to alt-coins, but still exchange fiat to bitcoin on a weekly basis.

I think now in 2018 number of people who are investing in bitcoin are more. Because in 2017 we have already seen or hear that few celebrities has earned huge profit. In facebook , twitter or other social media also involved in the advertisement of bitcoin. So indirectly people are getting the information about cryptocurrencies. So I think today normal people are also investing in bitcoin. Still most of the people dont even know what is bitcoin. I would say 60% people in my country know about bitcoin and only 50% are trying to invest in it.

If you ask me about my people that using bitcoin still less than 3%

Because my government still strict bitcoin usage but I can still use it without worried being jail.

I invested some of my money in bitcoins and I know most of the people here in this forum invested in bitcoin as well. The friends around me and people in my country already have idea what bitcoin is but not a total understanding of it. We can't tell the exact number of people who uses bitcoin around the world. Bitcoin itself has a lot of uses that's why we can't really tell if someone uses bitcoin as a form of asset or an investment. There are those who directly invest in bitcoin, there are also other who mine to sell it. I myself use bitcoin as an investment. When BTC was at 200-300$ I invested some money and cashed out what I had invested when it hit the 20k mark :D ez profit. Now, its on a low price and I'm still investing on it. Hope it comes back to the 20k mark soon :D

Indeed, i my self accept that it is the way o think about bitcoin. At first i thought bitcoin is just for investment purposes but when i got into it i then realize that it is not just investment but also a currency which can buy things online and used as the main currency in trading.

In most countries including the USA, Bitcoin is defined as a Commodity and not as a currency. So the natural thing for most people are to use it as a store of value or a commodity to trade with.

A lot of people also look at the high volatility of the technology and they class it as a commodity, because high volatility is not ussually associated with a traditional feature of a currency.

Speculators also see the high volatility as a perfect tool to make some good profits. ^smile^

Well, I personally believe people got into Bitcoin just because of the revenue potential it has, myself, I am one of those people. But in the future, after the value of the coins increases dramatically, I wish I could actually use the coins directly to buy stuffs instead of converting the coins into fiat.

A lot of people all around the world started to treat Bitcoin as an investment rather than a currency. Bitcoin can help us to finally get rid of banks which can do whatever they want with our money. Many people still don't understand cryptocurrencies and I doubt they will ever do. Ordinary people are too careless and don't want to know how tech works e.g. smartphones. The value of any object is the price at which the product is valued,it is a simple process,bitcoin started out as a mode of payment without zero fees but the current situation is a bit different from what it started but the good thing is that,if you can send a million transaction at once with the same transaction fees,so in hindsight only micro transaction suffers. Lot of people are using Bitcoin,  at present its open to all (who are using interne) about Bitcoin. People are thinking and researching on its motive, market trend, price etc. 

Anyone who invests in something they don't research is an idiot. Always, an investor must do his own due diligence. Even if the investment goes bad, it should be a learning experience, and the same goes with bitcoin.

People usually don't use bitcoin to spend on things for some odd reason they want to exchange it for fiat and always look at it in terms of the fiat value so it is more like digital stocks than a currency. Bitcoin can be used as a normal currency, provided that you live in a place that actually has enough services or goods places accepting Bitcoin as a payment system. To be honest, almost 90%of people today use it as an asset and not for any other thing. They just don't know the features of bitcoin which has revolutionized the economy of the whole world. It could be once again used for payments and transactions worldwide when everyone starts using Segwit address and when lightning network gets activated, users ratio would go even more.

People are using Bitcoin to buy a lot of things, eventhough is not in your circle of friends of stores. But, sooner or later, this will be more widely spread and eventually all the countries will allow crypto.

Majority of the people who put money in bitcoin are investing on it with hopes of having a return in the near future. As we can observe, movements in cryptocurrency is quite fast when compared to stocks so people found a way to get some profits as fast as possible through investing in bitcoin without even knowing the purpose of why bitcoin was created. The effect of this though when bitcoin goes down is a panic sell because they didn't expect it to go down that much in such a short period of time. Those who invested in stock market are waiting for price movements in stocks for years while in bitcoin it is possible to move that high percentage in just a day.

I can't tell how many people use bitcoin to invest because I don't have the record to see the people investing using bitcoin. I can't tell the fixed number but one thing is for sure they are many people in all over the world investing using bitcoin.

We can not say how many exactly because we don't also know how many investors are involved in bitcoin's market cap for now. But bitcoin is mainly used in investment than what it is really its purpose as planned by Satoshi Nakamoto.

The price right now is too high to invest but i think still a lots of people are believe to be the best currency to invest in it. Bitcoin is no doubt the best currency and most loved cryptocurrency and infact most loved currency so far on this face of the earth. Most of thee people are waiting for a crash but i think at that stage it is the good time to buy.

Bitcoin now has more investment in online than in the real world. People invest in currency or ICO and count on a profit. It's hard to pay anything for bitcoin in the real world. Maybe except for a few countries like Japan.

People see bitcoin the wrong way. It is an investment sure but you can spend it. From my limited experience in the crypto-currency sector, I would advice to keep a few things in mind while investing in Bitcoins. These are:

1. Bitcoin is highly volatile, and therefore avoid panic selling during the dips.
2. Don't expect Bitcoin to give you 100x returns in 10 days. Be prepared to hold on to your coins for at least 1-2 years.
3. Don't try to re-invest your coins in ponzi-schemes and crypto-stocks.

That is the sad truth about Bitcoin, it has been known as an investment vehicle first rather than knowing its a currency in the first place. This things that made it look like a money making asset is because of the volatility it has made and with the recent jump of 1,000$ to 20,000$ in just over a year it made it look like an opportunity for most and it became more popular as a way to earn rather than to use as a currency for payment. Also with the recent network fees which are insanely high using it as what its originally made is unappealing because there is no person who would like to incur additional cost.

He ask how many people will invest on bitcoin he will not ask what was the reason why we here in bitcoin? It is true that bitcoin can serve as a payment aside from that we can earn profit in different ways like joining signature campaign, bounties and twitter campaign. But no one knows how many traders have in bitcoin especially bitcoin is very popular now. I think not less than in a million users because there are some countries banned bitcoin because of their different reasons.

Nearly 20% in my country invested in bitcoin and 30% knew what bitcoin was but did not invest much of the polemic that happened in last year , the remaining 50% did not to know bitcoin and function of bitcoin
Back to 20% of people investing in bitcoin only 15% of people know its function and 5% only have capital following people who have succeeded from bitcoin ,it's all just my opinion if there is additional later maybe I will return here

The fee issues are likely to be resolved soon and I believe that with the increase in the number of miners, these issues will come to an end. Bitcoin is the legendary coin and there is no other single coin which has got the potential of taking over the throne of bitcoin.

We need to be little patient with bitcoin so that these fee issues could be resolved. Even if these issues take time, holding bitcoin will still work best for producing big money.

That's a tricky question... Because I think most people first came into bitcoin just because "someone" had told them they could make a lot of money. So many people rapidly quit just because they see that bitcoin is not such an eldorado...

Yet for those who stay... Well I guess that some still don't really care about bitcoin as long as they can make money through trading. But indeed, this is not the aim of bitcoin. It has been designed as a currency potentially allowing people to get rid of the control of any financial authority...

So, yeah, it would be great to communicate about bitcoin itself than about its potential for individual profit. But I can understand this would be less attractive!  ;)

No exact amount of people but it is less than 5% of the worlds population, mostly are millenials and some are real investors, but I think most of them doesn't invest too much because maybe of low salary and have to use their money for their families, on the other hand the real investors which invest too much of the money to bitcoin and they are really few, i guess but the most important is as the time goes by many people will keep and start using bitcoin in their lives.

The original intention of bitcoin design is to get out of control of the financial world and to create a fair and reasonable way to pay for transactions. Yes there are a lot of people are using bitcoin when investing in ICO but in the real world specially here in our country i did not see the practical use of bitcoin because it is not yet widely adapted here. Maybe in the future when they will see the advantage of blockchain technology, that would be the time the government will adapt bitcoin as a mode of payment.

To be honest I think most of them just use bitcoin as a way to get rich quick. Not many people care about the freedom that bitcoin provides and the great payment system it is. Plus not to mention the privacy it provides when transacting online.

A lot of people heard about Bitcoin from the news which were saying that Bitcoin has given a lot of profits to investors who bought it few years earlier. Honestly, there's no exact data as to how many people use bitcoin for investment, because every single day a new bitcoiner will come and join the market. This market is still developing, but I'm sure that many people become rich through investment within a shorter period of time, they're able to gain huge profit. Strategically, you have to be a wise player when you become part of it. When the price is down, it's an opportunity for us to buy, hold, and sell it high, depending on the market status.

I don't fully understand what you've meant by your message and just wondering why your post get merited for being low quality. To be honest people, a lot of people confused the way bitcoin was made, or the purpose it serves, most of the people get or jump into bitcoin craze because of its appreciative value, not its uses. If bitcoin doesn't increase in price, just a stable one, do you think it will be this widely used? It may be no, because as I stated, a lot of people only jump into it not because of its use but because of it's dynamically changing value.

Most of the people I know and are interested in the crypto currencies use them for investment.

If an ordinary person would happen to find out that the price of Bitcoin is the highest currency in the market and decided to buy some, honestly I wouldn't expect any profit at all. Because for some reason, its expensive, and really needed knowledge about its changes in the price, because as soon as you just go with it - being naive, that would likely lead you to not even break-even the money you've invested in. Because those people really knows their thing, they won't just buy them, they use strategies to even earn more money.
