Global cryptocurrency investors are showing their enormous interest on bitcoin due to bitcoins upcoming bright future. 2017 was a great year for bitcoin.Bitcoin reveals its power to the global economy.worldwide investors are funding their assets to bitcoin now.i think bitcoin will set a new benchmark on 2018.Rival merchant organizations are feel free to invest and work with bitcoin now.its just a matter of time when bitcoin will rule the global economy.

2017 is very different though. This 2018, the government is doing something else like what they did to coinbase this might scare the rest of us away from investing. Its going to be very different from now on. The wait for the price to go up might just be taking more than a year already while IRS will be ready to collect keeping an eye to your wallets in this case.

if some people are easily scared when the government says something negative about bitcoin or do something regarding taxes,... like the coinbase thing, then it is best if these type of people don't buy bitcoin because they clearly don't understand bitcoin.
in which case we will have a much stronger rise instead of a volatile shoot up with a lot of weak hands who will panic dump!

The cycle is always the same. Bitcoin starts to get big hype and a lot of new money comes in. Then some smart investors sell at the top and others hold, but the weak hands buy at the top and then sell the bottom. This moves more bitcoin to those who are actually interested in bitcoin. Each time this happens it will only improve the strength of bitcoin.

I considering it to happen as well because I believe that Bitcoin can change the economy for real and in a good way. The financial system can be replaced by cryptocurrencies and the blockchain if it is done in the right way with a huge support but since it lacks both of these it will remain a dream for all of us.
Bitcoin is surely improving day by day as we can see how well it is doing by looking at the charts. It's better to get into the boat late than to miss it .

In other words the world has wised up to what Bitcoin actually is and they now think they should invest in it. Give it a couple more years and let people mull it over because they aren't sure and then you will have a tipping point. I previously thought it may happen this year, but seeing how people operate I will give it an additional two years time to see a change in the average person's sentiment toward Bitcoin.

Well really how could anyone ever know? That's all speculation is - educated guessing (in some cases not so educated).

March is based on previous years when the market has tended to start on an uptrend then. Based on the 1 day of March so far they're maybe right, let's look back in 1 month.

I believe that segwit address on the every wallet will be updated this year.
Next thing I expect the transaction time to go very faster than before.
Last year we got the blockchain 2.0 This year we may get the update on this too.
Price also may be doubles in the marketplace and can touch up to 20k in this June.

Hard to say that the price of bitcoin will increase a lot in 2018. Now with governments and financial institutions coming in, we'll have all kinds of regulations and it will be harder to make good profits. Governments will tax cryptocurrencies, especially when big gains are earned.

i have seen the market with bitcoin.
not just one but most of them.
i saw with my 2 eyes that everytime bitcoin is having a run there will be walls to make it stops and fall
but why is that ? what is the purpose of that?

Smart answer. But newbie/panic investors will always exists in any market, at the end people have their right to choose what to do with their money and their life which is a divine right from my point of view.

From the sole investor point of view understand and share your point. Less panic sellers will benefit the Bitcoin economy greatly.

If they charge taxes for doing Bitcoin activities now i say great. Now i won't have any problems at all when a tax papers are needed, like for the government of another country to accept you as a new citizen, since they of course care about you paying taxes. That might be even more of a good thing if democratic non-corrupt goverments won't have anything against it now that they are earning taxes out of it. That will only increase the trust in the long term.

I see a bright future for Bitcoin and i strongly believe that we better invest and hold this years before we regret years later. Like a lot of people, including myself regret not finding Bitcoin a lot of years before.

Improvement in BTC price for 2018 is showing now after the recent dip that happened. Many industries are applying blockchain compared to the past years and many people are getting interested with cryptocurrency. Although, there may be newbies who have such weak hands, but they should be more cautious now, resulting to a gradual rise in BTC price rather than another parabolic move.

I learned it based on the market habits of the previous year.
may be a bit stupid to believe it, and mostly analyze the same as me. Mid-year becomes a part that is not easy to miss, at least until the end of this year.

Hey. I would like to think and say that Bitcoin in 2018 will beat new price records. But, something tells me that this year will not be all predictable and simple. Yes, I believe in the price of $ 50,000, but are people willing to buy at this price? Bitcoin will drop well, down to $ 1,000, to start conquering the apex from the beginning. Maybe I'm wrong, but the fact that everything will not be so simple, I'm 100% sure.

no one know what will happen in 2018 and honestly I do not really sure in this years will be better like last years, until now bitcoin price it's so difficult to increase. we can only hope bitcoin price will reach a new record and bitcoin will survive for a long time.

I really like bitcoin, But on my view, I really don't think that bitcoin will rise the same way as 2017 does, because every month, more and more Altcoin is created and many investors also believed in their token.
So the market caps are divided into different Cryptocurrency. But I'm still hoping that Bitcoin will still overcome the power of altcoins.

In each year, capitalization is growing exponentially! More and more bitcoins enter into the life of each person! banks and whole states are beginning to trust bitcoin! So, I'm sure that the price will grow constantly! As long as there is demand, there will be an expensive offer! The price of bitcoin only recently cost 600, and already for $ 10,000! but we have to remember always that one year the crops give their maximum amount while the other year they are damaged tremendously so 2018 with the involvement of big players as well as governments is very blury at the moment so my thinking is no on can make analysis so correct for 2018

Last year 2017 was really great achievement for bitcoin reaching approximately $20K USD and so far no ever currency was able to had reached that mark. However, in my opinion for this year 2018 I could see a great potential performance for bitcoin
to make a bullish pump and hoping it will soon to happen. In this regard, more and more investors will put more investment with bitcoin due to a promising profit that they are experiencing.

For a newbie like me back then (got started around August 2017), it was very exciting to see Bitcoin go from 4K to almost 20K in just 5 months. However, I do think 2017 was a bit unrealistic for cryptocurrencies overall, and it might take a while to get back to the 20K ... but of course, in such a volatile environment, who knows for sure?

I hope in 2018 bitcoin prices will get better. Improved prices can be influenced by incoming investors, into bitcoins. Did not rule out the price will jump high enough. It is just my hopes and predictions.

No one knows what will happened on bitcoin price this year, I hope it will be more powerful and there's a prediction about the value it may reach $50000 before the end of 2018. We only need to do is wait and see what will be happen.

It was proven that every year bitcoin becomes more valuable as years pass by but we must also consider the volatility of bitcoin that price may go up and down at the market. The good thing of it we can invest smartly if bitcoin is at low price value. Im sure bitcoin will rocks this year, i think it will pass highest peak last year maybe at 25K$ or beyond at it!

I am very bullish on bitcoin this 2018 especially right after a retracement of around 60-70%. It is due for a bull run because the bears might get exhausted after almost a 2 months rally. Lets hope for the best!

I think the bitcoin improvement will only occur or take place at the end of this year 2018, because it really didnt have a good start it is almost facing a huge or sometimes bad issue that is really maybe the fact that affect its grown. The bitcoin is really dropping right now that is why I believe that if this bitcoin rise maybe it will triple its present price today. I believe that after dumping, pumping is really the next.

I am still positive that the year 2018 will be a better year for Bitcoin. 2017 was an enormous year of Bitcoin growth. The sad thing however is that many governments and their agencies are already keeping a very tight surveillance on Bitcoin right now. This is the result when Bitcoin made it to the mainstream. Before, the authorities were not as hot as now because Bitcoin was still growing. But since it made huge achievements, they also began to level up their monitoring on it. I hope Bitcoin will get over this and continue to grow.

It will definitely a good year for bitcoins. 2017 was a great start and investors now are trying to shift in cryptocurrency. Although the price niw is deeply down, It will always skyrocket at any unxpected period just like last year.

Looking at the price drop in december 2017 and recent price increase for the last 3 months, I am sure and optimistic for higher price this year. There was a price retrace last month and this is a normal movement. It can be affected by selling pressure for profit taking by investors. Then , price move tend to rise again due to buying decision by current or new investors.

Bitcoin has now become the biggest wealth generation opportunity.No body is willing to miss this chance of getting rich quick.Bitcoin price was earlier expected to crash down just like tulip bubble due to entry of big financial firms like CME with the launch of bitcoin futures.But nothing actually happened except a quick price fall from $20,000 to $10,000.

Segwit was not implemented properly in 2017.But the situation is entirely different in 2018.More services seem to use segwit addresses.Even Coinbase has enabled segwit addresses after a huge pressure from users.Usage of segwit address has enabled to bring the transaction fee much lower than before enabling it once again to be used for payment purposes.

BCH supporters have been shocked on this move by the bitcoin community.They could no more blame bitcoin for higher transaction fee.So,it seems that they are almost out of the game in the competition to claim the bitcoin place.

Yes, 2017 is the best year for bitcoin, but by 2018 I think it's going to be harder, bitcoin finds its highest price anymore, because now it's pretty much the bad news that makes, the investors hesitate to invest. maybe this year should be more patient again, to see bitcoin, back with the highest price.

I hope it will be. But still now there is no improvement. In 2017 bitcoin made history . it crossed 17k . but it is fall down again in 2018 . I don't know it will back up again or not. But what I can do is holing bitcoin and expect for the improvement.

From the last dip it's slowly increasing but it volatile and it is hard to know what will be happen if bitcoin continue increasing. But the predictions of bitcoin before the end of 2018 it will reach $50K.

Bitcoin has been trading sideways since the start of the year. But when Ethereum came after bitcoin, it has a more unified leadership than bitcoin. Yeah its sure that BTC will improve but I don't think the rate chart will come as it shown last year in 2017. As we know that bitcoin price was in 2017 was quite amazing but if you see a previous fact in 2017 in the begining of 2017 the price was below 900 USD but in the end it was reached to 21000 USD. So now think how much it was increased. So we should ignore other people and think about bitcoin if we invest right now we will get high profit so that's all. So if it is about improvement then you can see it's increasing once again. I think drop is finished and now it's increasing.

After all the FUDs that surfaced in quarter 1 of 2018, Bitcoib was able to hold steady at levels above the last year November price before the December's FOMO. This shows that price is maintaining a good threshold in long term view. This dump was justified after the horrendous pump in December-january. If you've witnessed the history of Cryptocurrency and its impact on global economy, since 2009, then you should know that the Cryptocurrency market whether it is Bitcoin or Altcoins like Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin and 1400+ other altcoins, is extremely volatile. For example - Bitcoin saw a huge loss in December 2017 and the value of Bitcoin was halved. More or less, adapting Bitcoin/altcoins and using it in the day to day life is not that simple. The government of many countries don't approve Cryptocurrency. But, yes in future things might change like we can use Bitcoin as an alternative to Fiat Currency. Everything said and done, 2018 is proving to be a healthy year for Bitcoin.

We cannot predict about Bitcoin price since previous year Bitcoin price reached a great height that nobody had even imagined and there is no way to get worried and mostly the depreciation happened because some medias began reporting that the government is going to ban or regulate Bitcoin these fear came to the mind of the people and people started selling Bitcoin . To my opinion 2018 will be a great time for the improvement of Bitcoin.

I am positive and believe that 2018 or before this year end there will be a massive increase in thw price of bitcoin. We don't know exactly how much or when it will happen but I believe it will happen sooner. Cross fingers but I am looking forward for that.

Thinking of someone that is so positive will help others as well to make up their mind on the plan to invest in cryptocurrency particularly the bitcoin. Yes bitcoin has already set foot with its best time high market price on 2017 that reach to almost 19k USD per btc. The greatest crypto market price i guess in the crypto market. this might scare the rest of us away from investing,this is for the best if it really happened....if some people are easily scared when the government says something negative about bitcoin or do something regarding taxes,... like the coinbase thing, then it is best if these type of people don't buy bitcoin because they clearly don't understand bitcoin in which case we will have a much stronger rise instead of a volatile shoot up with a lot of weak hands who will panic dump...

It was supposed to be like this. The price of bitcoin was low at the start of this year. Gradually it was going lower and lower day by day. Many of us started to think that the price will be like this through out this whole year. But if you analyse the price of bitcoin from the beginning then you will see that the price flactuate. But the price wasn't low all the time.

Not so much improvement. If you look at the price of bitcoin on 1st Jan it was about 15k and now although it got some pace in last week but it is still going to touch 10k and 5k difference is a vast difference.

First quarter has ended but so far we haven't seen some significant price improvement.
Recent price jump still doesn't look like it could last for a longer period or bring some significant price rise. It seems like price is going back and forth all the time but with small steps. Still there is plenty of time this year for price to grow and I expect to see 15000$ again this year.

If we compare 2018 with 2017 then we can say 2017 was best year for Bitcoin, but in first 2 to 3 quarter price of Bitcoin was not as high as 4th quarter.

We are looking same conditions with 2018, the price of today is better than February 2018, so we can predict that ending of 2018 will be at good price of Bitcoin.

2018 will not be big year. Price will be around 4-14k in the end of year. Too many people got burned in late 2017 and early 2018, for there to be a big boom. When there is a bust, it takes some time for there to be a new boom.

Sounds possible because bitcoin is already showing an early sign of trip to the moon. With bitcoin's market value at 9K$ already before the second quarter ends, there is really a big possibility that bitcoin will exceed 20K$ before December.

Bitcoin is mostly down durjng the past few days and it approaching the $7k. Recent negative events might halted the price to go up further. Maybe some positive surprises might happen this summer and the awaited bullrun may finally start before last quarter of this year. The concensus meeting failed to boost the price of the bitcoin unlike last year and the repeating of a history did not happen.

still 6 months, it means 6 months away in 2018 will end. I believe by the end of the year bitcoin prices will increase and exceed the highest price in 2017.

yes you are right the difference in 2017 and 2018 is very terrible, when the year 2017 some governments have been eyeing bitcoin and many have liked bitcoin but in 2018 this is why very many governments are starting to dislike bitcoin and fear with bitcoin.
