For all the newbies on crypto like me out there, this is the best time to get in in the crypto world. Why? Because the prices of coins now are so cheap. Last year on last week of December Bitcoin price went on its ATH which was like $20k+/BTC and almost all coins also went on their ATH before crashing. Bitcoin is still struggling to get back up to $20k+ level so invest now and hold your coins. Just buy coins that have high potential and has good technology and you won't regret it.  ;D

Too bad I entered in crypto world when it was at it's peak in 1st week of January I think. So don't be like me buy coins now while the coins are still cheap.

Yes, you're right that buying better had to be at the beginning of the year, but now is not the worst part. The main thing is to choose the right coins for the portfolio so that later you do not bother.

it was a lot cheaper two months ago, that should have been your best entry point. but since btc isn't at $20k yet i guess it still best to get in. there are tokens to buy that is a lot cheaper still. we are still at early stage of crypto adoption so the price still is much cheaper, wait til 5 years the $1 token we see today might be more than $10 already.

Check out coins like XRP,NEM,PIVX,Golem to name a few. all this coins price was x3 last month so if anyone will buy crypto now he/she will have a good profit in the next few months.  ;D

I like your opinion and you are right about the market volume, market will recover surely from here, do not panic from dips, eventually it will make its move to new highs.

If anything, you should be happy when it dips because you can buy whatever it is that you want to buy cheaper ( or average down your entry price if you already hodl said coin ). Best of luck

That's actually how things work here. You buy coins at lowest prices and wait for them to spike up. But if you are rich enough, I think buying bitcoin at $20,000 isn't really a problem. And there's no such thing as wrong timing to get here into cryptocurrency. At least you are learning here and there is still a chance for you to have a profit because you already know that it is going to spike every end of the year.

Gotta love dips, ideal times to strengthen positions or to get into completely new things.

Yup, the market looks so pleasing to the eye. I'm glad I HAD to wait when I thought dipping opportunities had come and gone in February but with almost every alt I can find on Bittrex just touching bottoms they haven't seen in months, I've gone in a teeny little bit today. Would have gone in even yesterday but I made the mistake of extremely low Bitcoin fees to transfer... cheapo like me. Funny thing is prices dropped even lower so my cheapo attittude saved me 5 to 10% more.

Haha, right? I'm already bought into a lot of alt positions, so sadly am missing the chance to buy in at bargain basement prices ... however, I think the altcoin bubble will be insane anyway, and we'll all make out like bandits in the end.

I think the current market flow is slow. The value is very consistent with the mentality of newcomers to the market like me. Now, I have owned a few pennies for myself. I wait for it in the optimism that the market will be pumping with large user base that will generate moonlight.

Yes investing in the starting of the year is the best idea because in the starting of the year all currencies Price ard little lower than other days so if we invest in this time we will get.a good profit at the end of the year.

Buy when there is a blood on the street. Saying this statement is easy but we are human beings and we do have certain kind of emotions. When we are in bloodbath our mind will say is either to but later at the more dip or this is the end and it will never recover. This is actually reality.

When others are fearful then it would be the right time to buy because the coins are cheap and those who panic sell would be willing to sell out their coins at market price even if it continues to go down. The recent FUD because of binance "hack" cause the prices to crash so this is like a sale period again. People are bullish with their coins few days ago but because of the recent happenings, they are at a loss now so if you still have funds left then it would be a good time to grab some when it is still on sale. It many continue to go down for a few days but if you bought the coin that has active projects and potential then it would increase in due time.

The best time to enter into cryptocurrency will always be now. Get into the train as early as you can. Buy as many good altcoins as well as Bitcoins as early as possible. The early bird will always be the one to catch the worm. That is the truth. And then do not mind the dips and dumps along the way. These are very short-term and temporary. Go with coins that will definitely give you a high profit, do a research for cheap coins in CMC and check the 1st 100 coins because in the next months the market will go green again. Bitcoin price as of this time, fell below the $10000 mark again and some altcoins are also been badly affected after SEC announces that it will require cryptocurrency exchanges to register with the agency. A possible phishing problem with one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges could also affected bitcoin and altcoin price performance. If you have cash, you are very lucky now. There is a great opportunity to invest. But if you do not have cash and you have invested in your bitcoins you do not have a chance to make a huge profit :) it is very useful to be standing on the cash in such a time

Most cryptocurrency are on stable so it means that they are waiting the right moment or waiting for other important decision about bitcoin

Absolutely yes,  and to those who want to earn a good amount of money in the long term this big drop ( crisis) in the market is the best opportunity to buy large proportions of currencies ( like, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple, Cardano, Ethereum..)  and the same to invest and hold, despite that there was a big fall in last 2 months,  but I'm pretty sure that this crisis is temporary  just the capitalists are selling a big quantity of digital currencues and particulary, bitcoin In order to re-buy when there is a weak value of currencies and  I think that those problems will be solved soon. I agree. If you're looking to get into any of the alts, now is the time. Most of them have tanked to 1/4 of their value back in December. Could easilly make a ton of profit if they just go back to where they were when the market recovers. I've been slowly stocking up a few different coins and have already begun seeing a profit on some of them.

At the time of this thread creation, the prices were still high as compared to now. Now I think it is the good time to jump in the market. I've also bought some NEO. Bought Stratis as well at 58k satoshi but its dipped down below 50k now. Holding my bags tight and anxiously waiting for the greens.

Given that this post was originally written on March 7 and the price has gotten much lower since then, i'd further support this and say that now is indeed the time to get in! Both ethereum and bitcoin seem to have reached floors and there is nowhere to go but up. Happy buying  :)

As you can see, the market is still bullish since the start of the topic. And I think the way is still down. The probability of 4.5k USD is not too low. I have bought some ETH at 6.5k USD (around 360 USD for 1 ETH) and will continue to buy if the market is getting cheaper.

Only 2 coins that meeting your expectation, they are Bitcoin and Ethereum. These 2 coins are mother of coins that has an impact on other coins. If you really want to invest in this cheap price, take both. This is worth it.

I have a lot of altcoins in my portfolio but Ripple is not one of them. Personally, I prefer to invest in Bitcoin or Etherieum for high market cap crypto. I think people should take this opportunity to buy other altcoins like NEOS, ADA, IOTA, Ark, SYS or STR instead of Ripple.

I agree and same here, although I did have Ripple in my portfolio before but I sold them and bought more Ethereum and bitcoin to diversify my holdings too which was actually a good thing because I’d have huge amount of losses if I hadn’t added those coins to my folio.

There are many strategies that can help investors at this point.  First buy BTC, ETH, etc. while the prices are low.  Many speculate that the market will rise in the third and fourth quarter of this year.  Second, use the discounted cryptocurrency to buy into worthwhile ICO's.  This can help you gain an additional return on your crypto purchase.

Well, it is not about believing in crypto... Personally I do believe in it, but I still like it and adore its mission even during this bearish market. Although I understand that now there are no any signs that in a day or two prices will start to grow. It doesn't work this way.

There is no correlation between taking part in bounties and hoping BTC will be at an ATH soon.

I was asking myself what to do when cryptocurrency goes down and found out that the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

Many people who have not heard the name of BTC before, have tried to research and learn about the big rise in December 2017. The big falls that followed showed BTC very unsafe. But there have been similar situations before, and many inexperienced investors do not know that BTC needs to be taken for investment at a time of decline.

Yes, the bearish season is the right time to investor or buy and some cryptocurrency for maximum profit but it sad that most people that into cryptocurrency when the price was high only complaint about their lost. Instead, them to seize this moment before it slip away.

I agree with this, same thought and strategy actually. It won't get better than this, to some
degree at least. I mean why so blue and gloomy about dips when you can turn it into one
strategic investment approach to things in perspective. When dips are it's best, prices aren't
