Title: Who controls the Bitcoin system?
Post by: Fairy_90 on March 13, 2018, 04:23:51 AM
I think nobody can control or own the bitcoin system like they can not control and possess the technology by email and the internet. I think Bitcoin is no different than a mobile application or program that offers a personal Bitcoin wallet and allows users to send and receive Bitcoin.

According to Bitcoin.org, nobody owns the Bitcoin network much like no one owns the technology behind email. Bitcoin is controlled by all Bitcoin users around the world. While developers are improving the software, they can't force a change in the Bitcoin protocol because all users are free to choose what software and version they use. In order to stay compatible with each other, all users need to use software complying with the same rules. Bitcoin can only work correctly with a complete consensus among all users. Therefore, all users and developers have a strong incentive to protect this consensus.

There are people who own a very large percentage of the extracted bitcoins.
If they want to change the price, they will do it.

And there is no question of any decentralization!
Bitcoin has become a means of manipulation.

Will in my own perception bitcoin will controlled to all us,who being a part of cryptocurrency because we are the one who make our own market and investment trading in the blockchain, but there are some people or other organization who tried to manipulate the cryptocurrency system and  thats group that we called a whales or big player in the market, because sometimes they controlled the trade in the crypto system into there hand, by creating FUD to us.

Bitcoin is controlled by all its users worldwide. Developers can indeed improve Bitcoin software, but they can not enforce changes in the Bitcoin protocol because all users are free to choose the software and version they want to use. In order to remain compatible with each other, all users need to use software that follows the same rules. Bitcoin works only when there is full consensus among all users.

The majority controls bitcoin. It's a decentralized coin... but it's majority rule. Miners in China could control bitcoin if they invest enough to become the majority. It's already sort of happened before.

As a decentralized system with a complicated design, we are hard to see. There are a number of players with more or less events (for example, miners, holders, exchanges, even developers), but one of them may have more power than the other in terms of improvements to the Bitcoin protocol technology to be performed. Which causes expensive or not Bitcoin prices. Bitcoin holders have the greatest impact on bitcoin prices because of their effect on existing Bitcoin supplies.

I suggest you read Satoshi's whitepaper to truly understand bitcoin.

https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

Bitcoin technology is decentralized, meaning no central authority, no central control. People set-up their machines to become nodes themselves but it doesn't it that they have control. Although they are investors (whales) who usually owns large amount of bitcoin, it doesn't mean that they have control as well.

I do not think anybody controls it. Those with big money are affecting the price.

They change the price by making money in and out.

In the past, the coin prices did not go that far.

Good money was earned by buying and selling. Not anymore.

the bitcoin system is a decentralized virtual currency so there is no control or central bitcoin circulation by any party. if anyone thinks that the bitcoin price movement is very volatile because of the intentional elements of certain parties by way of pump or dump in my opinion is not true. the rise and fall of the bitcoin price is highly dependent on market demand if market demand is large, there will certainly be some kind of effect from the rising bitcoin price movement. some of the factors that cause the current decline in bitcoin prices are the decrease in the scale of investors caused by many factors, one of which is some negative news which tend to be very angular about bitcoin.

The only one who can control bitcoin is its users. the developers only facilitate to provide virtual wallet services to bitcoin users without being able to change the system implemented by bitcoin with blockchain technology. With it, pure bitcoin is controlled by all its users so that the price also depends on the sale and purchase activities in various bitcoin marketplace and price fluctuations through the agreement with the users. However, the unique feature of this technology is that bitcoin transactions are confirmed by miners and recorded on all connected servers around the world.

I also think that bitcoin does not control and it all depends on all users in terms of rising and falling prices, and players with large capital usually can affect bitcoin prices.

Bitcoin is stored locally rather than on the Internet. It is essentially a file stored on your computer, mobile phone, or other hardware device, that is, a bunch of digital signatures generated by calculations, or strings. The circulation of Bitcoin is entirely controlled by the network rather than a third party organization.

Technically, the one who owns bitcoin are the users/holders itself. So there's no really single entity who can dictate the price of btc but the supply and demand. If one person holds great percentage of btc, he can affect the price in one single movement.

Ideally there is no one who owns or has a controlling claim to BTC, it has developers who update and improve the operation system in an attempt to make it more efficient. there are however a group of people who owns large number of Bitcoins giving them the power to manipulate the prices, they can easily change the prices if they want to.

please don't try to repeat but rephrase what you have read/heard somewhere and only understood half of it. it just makes your statement be weird and misleading.
the thing is, there is no bitcoin to be stored in first place. there are only keys and transactions. the transactions are stored on the public ledger called blockchain and the keys are what you generate/store to be able to spend those transaction outputs.

yes, I agree with you, bitcoin system can not be controlled, because is decentralized, and this is the main reason why bitcoin system is difficult to be hacked.

but there are some groups that can affect the bitcoin.
1. developers, they have a big influence on bitcoin, that is to write rule set in bitcoin protocol.
2. miners. they have a significant effect on the bitcoin system, writing down all the bitcoin transaction data in the blockchain. when bitcoins have hard fork, then the miner is the one who determines whether the system works good or not.
3. investors, they affect the value of bitcoin
4. trader.
5. exchange.

and the reason above is what distinguishes it from other payment systems.

Bitcoin is controlled by us the people it is decentralised meaning nobody has full control of it.
Satoshi may have first implemented it but nobody knows for certain who or where he is. His coins have never moved. Let's hope he never forgot his private keys.
We even control the value if more people want bitcoin the price goes up and vice versa.

Bitcoin is indeed a decentralized monetary system.

But is the situation same?

Isn't the manipulation from Market Makers(MMs) has intensified recently?

Since December last year, many big financial institution were able to enter the market and now hold a decent percentage of the whole marketcap. I was watching the Bitmex charts and noticed how badly the manipulation is being done. The bulk holders are screwing longs and shorts equally without any set pattern. Bitcoin, since the year started, isn't following any chart sequence because MMs understand how the market sentiment works. Added to that, those exchanges who have all the data of sell and buy orders are also a big manipulator in the game.

In actual bitcoin technology is not just a app system or any site system that is using any data that we send at one side and wirtten data show at another side , but in actual there exists a type of transfer of actual data of the system .
In actual no any thing here works for direct transfer but a type of the algorithm works where many things like miners works and also another system where block system are working .
And another thing is that here we have no input and output system where we can't inject our data or any script and also there exists a private key system which helps us to handle the bitcoin containing adress only .
So it is not a simple type of system that you are thinking , it is more secure than what the banking sector are using the technology .

I am not sure but I think, technically it’s controlled by the community. What is the community? Consists of developers, miners, traders, those who hold currency.

1. Developers: You can find the Bitcoin source code here - bitcoin/bitcoin - it says there are 376 contributors, which you can see here - contributors - and you can make your own contributions / adjustments (they may or may not get approved)
2. Bitcoin miners: These people have bought the hardware / pay for the electricity to make the transactions and the network “function”.
3. Bitcoin traders: Large stake holders who move the markets in certain ways by altering liquidity.
4. Bitcoin holders: Those who are not necessarily in the “trading” realm, but have been buying and holding the currency.

Bitcoin price is controllable by the big whales. While bit coin is uncontrollable by the whales. Bitcoin system can corntrol actually by those investors who own much numbers of bitcoin. For me this system is like controllable but uncontrollable in reality. Like the limit numbers of supply, limitations of bitcoin in the physical world of system. In fact, it can be said that it is on the global Internet that tens of thousands of computers are connected into a network to form a super server. The role of this server is to record Bitcoin. Well from my understanding, nobody can control the bitcoin "ledger" or blockchain. But the system/mining is being maintained and updated by groups. It's open source so anyone can see if it's being maliciously edited or not.

I think nobody can control or own the bitcoin system like they can not control and possess the technology by email and the internet. I think Bitcoin is no different than a mobile application or program that offers a personal Bitcoin wallet and allows users to send and receive Bitcoin.
Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies are controlled by everyone yet not controlled by anyone. Bitcoin is decentralized and hence, its price cannot be manipulated by any single person or authority, it is owned by people all over the world, therefore it is controlled by the whole community and not by any single person or authority.

The price of bitcoin is determined by supply and demand like any other asset in the world. The more the demand, the more is the price as the supply is limited.

Indeed, as far as I know bitcoin is a decentralize, meaning no one owns or have a control upon it. And that is what make bitcoin best currencies because it is far for being control by government. The only things we could control upon it is the voltality. However, there are times that bitcoin can be controlled by community not a person or authority.

There are people who own a very large percentage of the extracted bitcoins.
If they want to change the price, they will do it.

And there is no question of any decentralization!
Bitcoin has become a means of manipulation.
There is difference between the term controlling and manipulation. The price of bitcoin cannot be controlled by anyone, but it can be manipulated by group of people or government or media. Usually we see some sharp gains and sharp drops in the prices of bitcoin and other crypto currencies, that is usually when whale(people that hold handsome amount of crypto)buy or sell their holdings or when a government has announced a ban or legalisation.

Therefore, bitcoin can be manipulated by bigger players in the market, but it can never be controlled and the manipulation too doesn’t lasts long.

Bitcoin is a community based asset therefore the whole community has the control of it's market. Though not literally because no one owns the Bitcoin system as it uses a decentralized blockchain technology. This is actually the best feature Satoshi wants to be used by us who wants financial freedom and believes the technology he created to further protect us from greed.

Bitcoin has a great potential. Blockchain gives an opportunity to carry out financial operations on the world market without restrictions and without intermediaries. It is very worrying the government because they can't control. They are powerless to stop it because I can't keep track of the movement of capital. Therefore, in every possible way they try to restrict financial platforms and strengthen control. But all to no avail.Bitcoin does not belong to anyone. It's just like e-mail or the Internet. It is not controlled by any Bank. And the person who created bitcoin disappeared somewhere. bitcoin has become an open source software. This program can be used by absolutely anyone. All you have to do is follow the rules of this currency.

Bitcoin is controlled by its demand and supply through its holders and interested investors, traders. But one more thing that the price fluctuations is due to big whales trading and also due to some bad or fake news.
Yeah it is all about the demand of bitcoin and the supply to the investors; people are investing more and more bitcoin to get a powerful business. It is good to see the fluctuation of bitcoin price it use to increase and decease at the time of low price people buy bitcoin and hold but at the time of high price they sell and make business, red market begun just because people get impatient and sell their coin which cause high dump in price, so for me these three factors are effective in bitcoin, price, demand and investors.

the bitcoin system is a decentralized virtual Currency, so there is no control or Central bitcoin handling by any of the parties. if someone thinks that the price of bitcoin movement is very unstable due to the deliberate elements of individual parties using a pump or dump in my opinion is not true. the rise and fall of bitcoin price is highly dependent on market demand, if market demand is large, there will surely be some effect of bitcoin price growth movement. some of the factors that cause the current decline in bitcoin prices are the decrease in investor scale caused by many factors, one of which is some negative news which is usually very angular about bitcoin.

It is not controlled by any central bank, and the person who first proposed the use of bitcoin for several years does not make itself felt.

Everyone can make sure that this currency does only what it is supposed to do, and its creator no longer controls operations with bitcoins.

Now it is the responsibility of independent developers. That is, bitcoin has become a so-called open source software, which can be downloaded and used for free at your own discretion.

The only thing that we have control in Bitcoin System is, how we use our Bitcoins. Bitcoin system is just a system that consists of bitcoin (obviously) that's why how we manage our bitcoin is part of this System. People individually who has access to Bitcoin also has control

In order to remain compatible with each other, all users need to use software that follows the same rules. Bitcoin works only when there is full consensus among all users. In order to stay compatible with each other, all users need to use software complying with the same rules. Bitcoin can only work correctly with a complete consensus among all users. Therefore, all users and developers have a strong incentive to protect this consensus.

It is decentralized. Nobody can control it. It has a blockchain that keeps record of every transaction that has been made all over the world. This is the very reason why other countries or government of other countries are not welcoming it because they cannot control or profit from it. They can't tax it either. But due to it's popularity and people and government slowly understanding it's importance and relativity to the present needs of the society in connection to technology some countries are proposing to apply a tax on it so that they will welcome bitcoin to their country. Technically it’s controlled by the community. What is the community?

Consists of miners / traders / those who hold currency
Bitcoin miners: These people have bought the hardware / pay for the electricity to make the transactions and the network “function”.
Bitcoin traders: Large stake holders who move the markets in certain ways by altering liquidity.
Bitcoin holders: Those who are not necessarily in the “trading” realm, but have been buying and holding the currency (thus removing tokens from circulation / the ecosystem)

Your first statement is correct but your second statement is wrong. Bitcoin is unlike any other technology because it utilizes the blockchain. With blockchain, smart contracts can be done when process of transaction occurs. This adds security to both the buyer and the seller.

Actually everybody controls the bitcoin network. There are just people (whales) who possess a big amount of bitcoin who can literally move the market. They try and move wallstreet trading and sometimes succeed how much more in  bitcoin. There no regulations and no one would know and no one would arrest you for dumping and crashing the market

Bitcoin network is a decentralized network and so no governing body or any banking system does not have control over the bitcoin system, as the bitcoin system is a peer to peer online networking system there is no central authority to control them and all the transactions are recorded in the public ledger called the block chain system. As no one has  control over the bitcoin system no one will be able to stop the bitcoin system, so even if some government's have banned the use of bitcoins, the bitcoin transactions can be carried out through wallets and exchanges all over the world and can be converted to fiat currencies.

Even though the core idea behind the bitcoin was decentralization there are certain people or groups of people that have tools to manipulate and dictate market directions. For example the Great Satoshi Nakamoto owns the biggest amount of Bitcoins which makes him/her/them the richest crypto owner(s) in the world. Moreover, such crypto fortune lets make decisions that result in certain market events. Could be decline or growth, whichever is favorable at certain point and moment.

It can be controlled by all the users and investors. Its price is proportional to the investors and users who hold and sell their bitcoin. They can controlled it by making some bad news or fake news about bitcoin, so that all weak investors will sell their bitcoin and will lead to decrease in price. And if price falls some investors can now buy more bitcoin and then they will wait untill its price increase again. It will rise again for sure because the decrease price will also lead to attract some investors to buy.

Bitcoin represents the core ideology of democracy so in that sense every user controls Bitcoin through his actions. We have miners to confirm transactions on behalf of us and we as a user pay them their fees with every transaction so they are not the owners of the system but the service providers. As we all know that Bitcoin is based on a block chain technology which relies on decentralization principle, there is no central controlling governing authority in case of Bitcoin.

You might say that nobody can control the system, but you are wrong, just because it's decentralized doesn't mean that certain parties don't have a significant amount of control over it;

1. Mining pools, some of them are close to >51% of the network hash rate
2. Media outlets, their opinion and press can often crash the market
3. Governments and corporations. Even if they don't have direct control, their actions can drastically affect crypto value.

Nobody owns the Bitcoin network, just as no one owns the technology behind the e-mail. Bitcoin is controlled by the bitco-users of the whole world. Although developers improve the software, they can not forcefully change the protocol, because users are free to choose which software and what version to use. In order to be compatible, all users must use software that obeys the same rules. Bitcoin can work correctly only with full agreement between all users. Therefore, all users and developers, if the incentive to protect this consensus.

Bitcoin does not belong to anyone. This technology can be used by anyone who follows the rules of this currency.

With it, unadulterated bitcoin is controlled by every one of its clients so the cost likewise relies upon the deal and buy exercises in different bitcoin commercial center and value vacillations through the concurrence with the clients. In fact, no one controls bitcoin. That made it unique, so its price is on the moon. It was created by a person in Japan with the desire to become a better banking software. He felt disgusted with the bank's banking system and their poor security, so it came up with the idea of creating bitcoins.

Bitcoin can be controlled if you are the creator of it and hold the source code of the technology. But do not worry about this because the bitcoin dev is a secret, no one knows who they are. The identity of the Bitcoin creator is unknown.

Bitcoin isn't controlled by a solitary individual, that is the reason it is decentralized. Presently, when we discuss decentralization of bitcoin a considerable measure of us are imagining that bitcoin isn't beginning from a solitary nation, which is valid notwithstanding, incompletely erroneous. Bitcoin does not originate from any single nation and in addition, isn't controlled by a solitary substance. So we could state that we, the financial specialists abd fans, are the one thst controls the tides of bitcoin's destiny.

Nothing controls the Bitcoin network, Bitcoin is controlled by all its users around the world. Thus, all users and developers have a strong incentive to protect this consensus.

From the end of 2013, China, using tactical strategy, began to maintain nearly 50% of all Bitcoin transactions worldwide. Basically, Bitcoin is primarily designed to be the most important financial part of the future era and today, China can certainly be considered a bitcoin system controller for the future.

The end-user. Bitcoin works in a way such that the responsibility of making decisions and rules are shifted to the user only. By consensus, no one can force a rule change without a majority support from the community. Everyone is free to run forks of Bitcoin but they can't have anyone to run their client and follow their set of rules.

Arguably, mining has really destroyed the decentralised aspect of Bitcoin. With the monopolistic mining industry, it's pretty hard to say that the power lies solely with the user.

I somewhat agree with you. My theory is somebody made this app, program, system or whatever it is called, just like in an online game, with its own currency, a player can earn an amount of it through playing. The maker of the bitcoin system uses the same principle. The difference is that he or they (if they are a group) set the supply and connects it to the internet so that whenever a miner or anybody else that uses bitcoin, interact and make transactions, the supply will change depending on the type of transaction made. But this is just a speculation, I don't really know what is really happening inside the system, all I know is that bitcoin is existing through the internet.

The ecosystem of users/holders should be controlling bitcoin or any other coin. The purpose of crypto coins would be defeated if anonymity and decentralization fails. Anonymity..inorder to preserve our natural sense of humanity and freedom (bigbrother issue) and decentralisation..inorder to prevent unnatural or biased control of coin ecosystem.
Tis interesting to see the continuous battle for freedom as seen with battle between monero and asic for example.

There are a number of different players in the ecosystem (e.g. miners, hodlers, exchanges, developers), but one entity has more power than the others in terms of what types of protocol improvements will be made.
the hodlers have the biggest impact on the bitcoin price due to the effect they have on the supply of available Bitcoin. Taking this point further, they also have the largest amount of power in terms of what types of improvements are made to the Bitcoin protocol because everyone in the system is incentivized to make the native tokens on the platform as valuable as possible.

Yes, that is exactly what Kyle Torpey say in his contribution in Forbes.com and that is really possible that miners, hodlers, exchanges and developers are the one who have a big factors
affecting bitcoin prices, because hodlers can hold bitcoin that affects the circulation of bitcoin and i think exchanges is the biggest factors among the four reason stated above, the volatility of bitcoin price totally reflect on exchanges since that is where traders buy and sell their coin and the effect is the changes of supply and demand.

How this is controlled by the elite is clear that when the whales begin to dump their coins, the price of the coin falls and how fast they are dumping will define the price of bitcoin at the time. Not so with the Masses..... Their little bitcoins here and there when sold AT DIFFERENT TIMES will not have any major impact on the market price.......

It's a network wherein all users has control on how it works.

I can't agree with you guys about Bitcoin and their decentralized and there are some reasons why
First of all now 4 or 5 companies that build equipment for mining like Nvidia, AMD , Bitmain. And If I'm not mistaken Bitmain that build ASIC controls 20-25% persents of all market so Bitcoin is not decentralized at all. We all know the winners here . Just looks and the stock price on Nvidia now and before 2015 and you'll be surprised.
The second one https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html
It's a 100 top richiest Bitcoin walllets and you see that 0.68 % of all wallets controls 87 % of all Bitcoin!!! and 3.21% of all wallets controls 95.95% of all coins! TIt means that I guess 10 000 or some people control 95% of all coins here I don't think that this is real decentralization

In fact, no one controls bitcoin. That made it unique, so its price is on the moon. It was created by a person in Japan with the desire to become a better banking software. He felt disgusted with the bank's banking system and their poor security, so it came up with the idea of creating bitcoins.

Not necessarily "all" but rather a certain percentage, maybe 90% (I'm not quiet sure). This is what you called decentralized. This is a good thing since there is no central authority really to decide by itself to which path will BTC go. It needs to tell others and make them agree that this path will be where BTC is going.

Bitcoin's digital currency is known for being beyond the control of developers, any companies, or government institutions. Thanks to this feature, Bitcoin became famous. Of course, this is not the only factor that influenced the active growth of the market capitalization of the digital currency, but the ability to send and receive money transfers bypassing the banking sector played an important role in the development of Bitcoin as a reliable payment instrument.
By the way, most crypto-currencies are also beyond the control of even their creators. However, this does not mean that the P2P payment system is absolutely uncontrolled, there must be tools that regulate the basic processes of network interaction with the participants.
There is an opinion that the developers of the company Bitcoin Foundation, which is currently the official provider Bitcoin-network, have more opportunities to influence the system. In fact, it is nothing more than a delusion. There are only two groups of users who can indirectly control the Bitcoin system:
• Ordinary Internet users who work with digital money.
• Miners engaged in the production of Bitcoins.
No one else can affect the Bitcoin system in any way. Developers act as providers.

Legislators do not have time for all the changes. They, of course, will have to come up with new laws, because the old schemes of financial control for bitcoins are simply not calculated, because the crypto currency is beyond traditional currency instruments.
But the process of adaptation, of course, will take a lot of time, and in the process it may turn out that it was necessary to manage the electronic currency in a different way.
So all attempts of regulators to subordinate bitcoin to themselves can lead to nothing. Therefore it seems to me that it is not so easy to control this currency.

Ideally there is a claim that controls Bitcoin, it has developers who update and improve the operating system in an effort to make it more efficient. Bitcoin gives them the power to manipulate the price, they can easily change the price if they want to. With Blockchain technology, pure Bitcoin is controlled by all its users so the price also depends on buying and selling activities in bitcoin markets instead.

For what I heard and I what I read from the OP post, I think the OP clearly does not understand the basic system of Bitcoin. The purpose of the Bitcoin creation is that no one can control Bitcoin including government. So people can use Bitcoin as they like to do transaction and create their own freedom of financial. As a decentralized system by design, it can be difficult to see where the real power lies in Bitcoin.
There are many stakeholder like miners, hodlers, exchanges and developers are the one who have a big factors
affecting bitcoin prices, because hodlers can hold bitcoin that affects the circulation of bitcoin and i think exchanges is the biggest factors among the four reason stated above.

Bitcoin is inherently permission-less. Government's approval is not required. No one specifically controls Bitcoin in that:

(1) No one controls how quickly it can be mined. Every other Bitcoin becomes harder to mine as per the nonce of the mathematical algorithm.

(2) No one controls its value...some pump and dump practices have failed sinc skilled players can see the predictive pump-and-dump patterns on the market charts...so "insider trading" corruption is nullified.

(3) No one controls how it WILL evolve...and evolve it must to meet its new challenges of scaling etc..

(4) No one controls its utility.

Yes there are whales, miners etc...but ultimately is an ecosystem of interdependence and that's the BEAUTY of Bitcoin. The same variables cannot be applied to corrupt government FIAT currencies

my point of view is that we are all part of a game of bitcoin, we can only control it at a sufficient level and make our investments properly. you need to go ahead with gains and losses may be the issue at this time those who have large amounts of money may want to take control of the manipulation can add the price can break

Bitcoin is an open source software that was originally operated by Satoshi Nakamoto. Nakamoto left the site in 2010 and handed over the key to Gavin Andresen. Andresen claims he has managed to decentralize and said: "As soon as Satoshi left and put the project on my shoulders, one of the first things I did was try to decentralize it. Leave Bitcoin to a fully decentralized network.

I think nobody can control or own the bitcoin system like they can not control and possess the technology by email and the internet. I think Bitcoin is no different than a mobile application or program that offers a personal Bitcoin wallet and allows users to send and receive Bitcoin.
Developers can indeed improve Bitcoin software, but they can not enforce changes in the Bitcoin protocol because all users are free to choose the software and version they want to use. In order to remain compatible with each other, all users need to use software that follows the same rules

The popularity of the bitcoin cryptocurrency beats all records, which can not but cause heated discussions about its future, despite the fact that opinions about it vary greatly: some fully support the virtual currency, while others absolutely do not believe in its potential. "Voice of Russia" discussed the phenomenon of bitcoin with Andreas Lehrbaum, Chairman of the nonprofit organization "Bitcoin Austria".

The problem is that if some software developer wants to enforce his changes to Bitcoin, then he can easily create a forked chain. Ever since the first forked coin was created (Bitcoin Cash), we had dozens of such forked chains.

In fact, bitcoin is not possible to control. And all thanks to the blockchain, which eliminates third parties, which may this system to control. Now it sought a government that would be able to control this market. But while there is no system that could manage transactions and the blockchain.

There are people who own a very large percentage of the extracted bitcoins.
If they want to change the price, they will do it.

And there is no question of any decentralization!
Bitcoin has become a means of manipulation.

I strongly agree on your opinion that, there are people who own a very large percentage of the extracted bitcoins and if they want to change the price, they will do it. And adding also my opinion that, the only one who can control bitcoin is its users, the developers only facilitate to provide virtual wallet services to bitcoin users without being able to change the system implemented by bitcoin with blockchain technology. In addition, Bitcoin is controlled by us the people it is decentralised meaning nobody has full control of it. On the otherhand, btc is controlled by minority who holds most of btc, Its all about money and power.

I think differently. If there is a group of rich enough to work together, they will control the bitcoin market. Because at present, the market capitalization I see is not big enough to be out of control of the big money.

BITCOIN, like  most cryptocurrencies is free of any control , whether institutional or governmental, It value is only controlled by the forces of demand and supply. There however are developers who can only upgrade its operating system, but Thats just what they can do

The bitcoin core developers have the biggest influence in terms of innovation but any updates they suggest have to achieve consensus among all users so there isn't really a central point of power. The bitcoin foundation pays the devs and also communicates with governments so they are quite influential

Bitcoin is a decentralized system and uses blockchain technology so there is no single server, when the first server receives a blockchain confirmation it will be forwarded to the next server this can continue up to billions of chains.

Nobody has the rights or credits to bitcoin. So bitcoin is technically a technology that was being rub by the users and not by a single company or entity. This is the same thing tgst goes with a lot if revolutionary internet programs or activities like the invention of email. Nobody owns royalties on the creation of email. I think this is just good since bitcoin is intended to become a decentralized cryptocurrency.

No one controls the Bitcoin system but the community and the miners. The word decentralized is used with Bitcoin for this reason only. If the miners ever go rogue than the community can just fork the coin and start using that chain instead of the older chain. This is a benefit of decentralization that you wont get any where.

Bitcoin uses a decentralized system. No one governing party (such as a bank) because everyone participates in the process. This means no one can decide on one side or create a new policy that incriminates the owner of this currency. For example a Bitcoin address can not be frozen by a party.

The person running a node is part of controlling the bitcoin system. If you use a wallet from a third-party service, or an address given to you by the market, then you have no control over the system. You can only say that it is one of the users of this system.
There is also a saying that the miners control the entire system, but I think that the miners are producers and have a great influence on the system, but they cannot say that they completely control the system.

The idea that investors are the ones who control Bitcoin is not a new idea. Multiple articles and blog posts have been written on the topic over the years.

Many people regard bitcoin as a bubble. Its creator is anonymous so who could be termed as its controller. If there will be possible controller,it will be those who have enormous amount of bitcoin. They could actually influence its price in the market.

in fact many bagholders are able to provide a variety of sentiments and enough influence to thrill the price, in the future this will be something terrible because it is beyond the control of the government. The market plays an important role and the monopoly will remain in effect at any time due to the absence of a formal policy patent for the active intervention of the national regulatory agency.

As a decentralized form of currency, Bitcoin prides itself on having no governing body. It is completely run by the people who use it. However, many people wonder who actually has control of Bitcoin. There are some systems that are vital to keeping Bitcoin running properly. Its blockchain technology isn’t automated, as some people believe, instead it relies on the hard work of miners to keep it going.

Yup that is how the developers help bitcoin because they don't have the right to control it because like you said, in the first place bitcoin is a pure decentralized cryptocurrency so the developers are just thinking about the possible improvement or upgrade of bitcoin and after that then they will just implement it to the system by having either a soft or hard fork.

I don't someone has control over bitcoin's power or if anyone could manipulate it to their own will in the first place. The creator of bitcoin itself Saroshi Nakamoto made bitcoin decentralized for this purpose. And not even him, has any control over bitcoin's prowess. I think this is just optimal and right for a global currency to have. Since it could also theoretically reduce corruption and graft among the government if ever bitcoin is considered a currency.
