For 2 months, market is not consistent. In the past, I have seen worse but the market bounced back well. The current scenario is so weird for me. Almost all the currencies, I have been holding has fallen to where it was when I bought. Can the market ever be back? Im a part time miner by the way.

I feel sad also bro all my coins are either the to price I bought or -70% of my initial investment... feels bad...

Not sure how the market will ever recover though due to many government policies... it will take a while though if it will recover. The good old times are just far away for now...

Higher chance that market will recover in April, i have asked many old investors they all says they will reinvest in April.
if among 10 people 4 are saying like this many people will do same.

Surely it will touch the figures for last year but you will not see the returns like last year. Still better than stocks and mutual funds.

Feel really bad on what's going on with the market. Usually, market will recover on Q2 up to Q4. It was the as before, maybe we need to be patience a little more and prevent panic selling which definitely not good. Let's hope that any FUD or whatever news which cause negative in market will stop soon.

Well, the current scenario is not unusual, it has happened before. I think the market would definitely bounce back, but it would take some time. The current situation would continue for the next three or four months and then the market would pump again.

This is an assurance no words can provide, but seeing the present political interest and the various policies and measures proposed or under discussion, i do feel thats a really positive sign and the market will bounce back.

i think this is possible chance for market to will back like previous price, we can watch if in early year bitcoin graphic ussualy run down, and their begin run up at middle year until end year, so be patience guys  

The main characteristic of crypto is that its very unpredictable, we might be at the bottom today but we may never know whats in store tomorrow, it will take time for the market to fully recover but i believe it will get back to where it was, gradually

Someone who say it's time is normal, yeah I believe that just need a time price will comeback to high. I never see this situation before because I just newcomer in cryptoworld. This situation be affected by social media that has an important role for the development of cryptocurrency like facebook, twitter and google. Many investors use this panic selling in this situation, thus making the price continue to weaken. Hopefuly in the next month will come some rumors that make cryptocurrency grow and accepted by the public.

No mate i don't see any potential of market to recover in month of April 'cause it's summer and for sure there's a dump . And as far as i know the market always recover during month of november which is the growth rate is gradually increasing and soar until December because a lot of investors investing  for their xmas celeb. And it always happened ( correct me if I'm wrong. ) so op if you're doing part time on crytpo  you should invest on month of November and hold until December to gain more profits.

My portfolio also sank,but I do not hope that soon the market will stabilize and we will recoup at least its losses.Now, many people panic and they sell everything in the negative,should not do it.

it looks weird now because you haven't been around for long enough.
these trends are normal in altcoin market. we have pumping seasons that last quite long sometimes and then market enters the dumping phase where prices of these altcoins that were pumped go back down to where they belong. and finally after some time another pumping season starts.

this time the pumping season lasted most of last year which means the dumping phase can be a lot longer then previous times. so the next phase may come later and for most altcoins it meant they will never go back up to their same huge bubbles ever again.

i expect to see some hot action during summer but i am not yet sure whether that will be the pumping season or not but it certainly will contain many pumps.

Yes, I'm sure it will go back to the previous ATH, and then go past it.
Look at the whole market chart on coinmarketcap, and zoom out to one year. Ignore the December rise and Jan/Feb pullback, and you'll see a steady increase. The long-term pattern for crypto is to rise. The last few months have been more dramatic than normal, but haven't changed the overall trend.

I am always sure that the market will always return back because it has the capability to recover from its own loss. As of now, we are experiencing the bear market where almost of the coins fell. Well, that is part of the economy, if there is a crash, assume that it will always bounce back.

There is a very high chance that the market will bounce and come back to where it was but we really dont know when  it will happen. Most probably it will happen when the Fud and negative news about bitcoin and altcoin is over.

Not only you but all investors of crypto are weird from this market fall because their portfolio also gone down almost 80% from the high level. But I seen the chart of bitcoin, and it falls during jan-march and then starting of april month it start to recover. So hold your all coins not sell a single coins in loss and wait for market to come again in bull phase, you will definitely get good return for sure. Once we get used to it soon for the next few years Fuds will not affect the market anymore and i can see a great future in the market. maybe the market will rise again when the middle of the year until before the end of the year, more precisely between August to November. this is based on what happened in the previous year, I just can hope this is realized.

It will bounce soon this things happened already during the fork in August 2017. But right now do not panick, it will not just bounce back from where it was, market will bounce back more higher because the harder it hits the ground, the higher it will bounce up.

really, I see the altcoin that I have on the market still there is no very fast movement and the core of to make withdrawals make the original currency is currently on etherium and bitcoin, so I think that's what we should watch closely.

Depends what you mean by "where it was"? If you mean the December bubble, then that might happen in autumn 2018 soonest imho, this is going to be a long correction.

The answer to this depends on how the players in the market respond to cryptocurrencies. Who are tha market players? Investors, cryptocurrency owners, those involved in ICO, advertisers that support ICO projects, media, government, and other spectators (potential investors). It's not dictated by a single factor. Right now, there are just so many things and events that prevent the rise of cryptos' values again (FUDs, browser and social media platforms banning ICO and crypto ads, news about scammers and hackings, government regulations that are made stricter, etc.). If the media could release more good news about cryptos and the news of more countries planning to legalize bitcoin and other cryptocoins, and if we have better security against hackers and scammers, I guess that would help pump cryptovalue a lot.

The cycle of the market is always moving. The opportunity to get back is a fulcrum of strength. We already know that a few countries like Japan, Germany and Russia have accepted bitcoin as a legitimate and legitimate commercial currency. Well yeah that is how cryptocurrency works due to volatility, FUD and issues but don't worry about that because I know there could be time for the price to bounce back. Yes we all know at the very beginning that the situation of the market is not really that consistent and we have to accept the fact that it wil happen again and again but, it also happend that it will bounce back again as it was before.

I can not understand why the market is losing value. Despite the positive news, every day when I open the case, I see how my coins lose in value. I just do not want to believe that the market will return to the starting point. Definitely, this is a temporary phenomenon, which you and I need to wait out.

think it's just market corrections mixed with some FUD news. not much you can do about it but hodl imo.though it might take a lot of time to fully return to where it once was, it's still doable. just a slow process.

We are not sure that the bear market will change in the end of the year because base on crypto history yearly. The transition of bear market to bull market are always happened on the mid year.

Everything is a full of mystery since the market was performing abnormality we cannot know if the price will be back to normal again or its continue to downtrend from $20k to $7k or slowly going down to $1k everything can be happen in this situation, then the question is you will continue to use bitcoin even the price continue to dump or you will give up and find another good altcoin?

I would suggest that everyone should be patient as this bearish dip that is happening in the current crypto market is just temporary and may have been on it's adjustment period. Once bitcoin will make a bullish run in the coming months, I will be expecting a domino effect on the altcoins as this will eventually be pulled upwards and be back on track where it was before. Make use while btc and alts are at it's lower price where this is the buying time that we are waiting to happen.

Patience is what require at this long downtime, In my expectations, the market will hit back to last Dec numbers in Q3 if not in Q2. Let see how soon Bitcoin can back to $20k price.

Your current situation is not terrible. Many people now return the price of the token to 50% at the time of purchase. Hold on and the market will rebound. It will not take long. It takes about 2 months.

I think we are going to consolidate for a long time and we will not see the market highest price for a while! The crypto market is getting ready for regulations, from the government, that's why investors selling their currency, plus speculation! So be patient for couple of years, may be even more

Yup 2018 is not a good year for Crypto world.Since from beginning 2018 sometimes there are regulation news,ban news,FUD,Hack news,so these are the factors which affected crypto a lot.Dont lose your hope and dont be despondent as this dip period will pas and good time will come.If you see 2017,beginning was not good prices of almost every coin including BTC were low,but gradually sometimes up and sometimes down,so this is the nature of crypto.If you are holding good coins which are durable for long term then dont be panic you will receive your planned return hold them but if you are holding some shit coins which are merely hyped then sell them as soon as possible because after this dip period many shit coins you would not be able to see again.Always be optimistic.

The problem is that most people here are all measuring a separate gap, in the last 3 months... This is wrong, you need to look retrospective in a couple of years... And the market will definitely grow.

I think it'll definitely grow again in a couple of years at least. Many people panic sell but if you continue to hodl for years, you'll be rewarded greatly.

Not possible today as these big players,financial institutions are manipulating tjhe market very hard and it could be the reason why most of the coins are going to fall back to where they have started,these people wont stop until every pocket of the investors are empty professional traders from various markets like stocks and forex etc,have joined our volatile market that is why it is much harder to predict what will happen.

Now we are likely to be at zero point and the market will no longer fall. Rebound from the bottom will be after large investment funds start to buy the crypt on a regular basis, like real estate, etc.                  

Might not be so possible right now as the bearish trend continues and these market giants are still manipulating bitcoin's value so that they can buyback from the dips and start making money easily,you will need billions of dollars to manipulate the bitcoin's value that is why im very sure that these people are from he financial institutions.

It already happened before that it takes too long before the market recover. Though it has other scenario where bitcoin is increasing while altcoins are bleeding. It is seldom happen that Bitcoin bleeds together with altcoins. I believe the new whale players have a big participation in this scenario.

The markets will someday, return back to where they were before now and most coins will attain a new ATH. It's just time and after the market corrections, let's hope the market takes a new turn.

The modern market situation can be characterized as unclear. I don’t know if we have reached a bottom of prices. Prices are fluctuated intensively but in a little range. That’s why it is hard to predict next events.

The market  will bounce back if we all stop being very fast to spread any bad news we come across about cryptocurrency but always circulate good news about cryptocurrency.

Before the price actually fell I sold altcoin from bounty because the market situation did not improve. High optimist I hold the market will recover to be able to sell some other altcoin at a price not too low. :D

I am not sure if we can see ATH again, I will never sell my coins at this point.

I am not sure on what basis you are saying this mate because this is crypto world and anything is possible if you go back and have a look we have been through worst crisis than what we are going through now but gradually recovered

I feel sad about the dump too but you've got nothing to lose if you just keep on holding. Just don't be tempted to sell your coins and you will still have a higher chance of earning profit. Hopefully it will recover by April or June. If not, I guarantee you that December will be the best month again.

Even i am going through lots of news analysis chart still cant figure out actual reason . I found only reason is big investors are manipulating market by dumping hard by their holding . Its better to not invest any ICO for the current trend.

Nobody knows what will happen. The market may bounce back or may not. One thing for sure however is that the quality coin will keep rising in prices steadily as developments is made and milestone is met!

The crypto currency market is always a swing. For several months it is in the red zone, then sharply grows and a few days is in peak.
I think $ 6000 was the bottom for bitcoin, from which it pushed off and will slowly grow. Of course, there will be dropdown.

What happened in December was an outlier, and we are back to the prices of 2017 November. IMO, the prices are going to stay below 10K for the rest of this year. Bitcoin needs a major boost to take it to the peak of December 2017, and I can't imagine that happening anytime soon.

Chance is always with us to comeback to its previous value because this is really because of FUD news which is spread into people and make panic in the market then make the price goes down. This is normally happen in early stage of the year and have high chance to recover again.

Yes it will be back again. It hurts to see the market during this negative / bloody days but what I noticed is that during there are events or holidays, the market is starting to shake. Biggest religion is now celebrating holy week so this can be also one of the reason why many took profits and had their own vacation, but I don't know if there's a connection this is just my guess.

Yes it will, but no one can really predict when. The last bear cycle took few years to end and how long the current bear cycle will go on cant be predicted. But with the huge rally we had I think it will take longer then a few months for the markets to recover.

Even though my briefcase is 60%, I'm not worried. I just made long-term investments in the middle or the end of 2018. it is true that by the time the market stabilizes, and if not, the currencies that I have in my portfolio in any sluae rise.

Have patience market is going towards stability after extreme dip period.I am also holding some coins which fell down to 60% but still I am optimistic that I would receive my planned profit from these coins so these coins are growing green and soon I would see them to reach some higher level.I know that back and forth behavior is common in crypto world and only those people get return who maintain their courage and hold their investments like me.

Always predict growth!  However, growth is not measured in a straight line.  Remember fundamental investment principals.  Research the importance of dollar cost averaging.  You should have been incrementally buying through these cycles.  It mitigates loss over the price spread.

Yes as what i knew many said that market will be bounce back this April and it is very possible of course. One thing also for sure market will be going to high in the last quarter of the year especially during christmass season. So better to hold and patient this time and wait for the right time.

no worries. cryptocurrency has a high volatility which is the main reason why cryptoccurency prices goes down and up. it wont become stable and we have nothing to do with it.

After the April tax deadline, there’s a good chance that the market would go back to normal like where it has to be. I like the bullish run last December when Bitcoin rose to more than $19k and Ethereum was up to $1,400 before it crashed down to earth from mid-January till the April tax deadline. I strongly believe that the market would definitely bounce back where it was a few months ago, but it is not going to happen so soon. I think It would take around six months to get back there. I am not certain that we will touch the all time high valuation this year, but the market is showing some strength in the past few days and you need to have a level of interest from big time investors to have that kind of rally this year but unfortunately i think we have to wait for a longer period for that to happen, but we will see those prices in the future.

There are so many chances bit right now i guess bitcoin is slowly going back to its pedestal but were not sure when is the time but were hoping that this will happen the sooner the better to attract more investors.

If there is only good news coming from some countries about the acceptance of bitcoin then definitely the bitcoin price will easily bounce off. Because the opportunity will be created if there is good news for bitcoin because at this time there is still no good news for bitcoin

If I had no idea you were talking about crypto, or didn't even know what crypto was, I would have to conclude you were observing something artificial, fake, not normal, manipulated etc.  And that is exactly what you are seeing.

There is always a possibility for recover and crash, this depends on the  market sentiment.  Bitcoin had proven that it can breaks it ATH several times, and given the current adoption level, I believe it can still bounce back to where it was (ATH) and even breaking it.  We just have to wait when and same principle applies to non-scam tokens.

Absolutely agree with your statement, I also believe market will go back to normal like 2 months ago. But the sad part is we don't know when it is exactly going to happen. My conservative prediction here is it will go back in years to come, I mean, we will not see a new bull run anytime soon but it's 100% that the new bull run will come.
