Russian government believe that it is necessary to legalize operations with cryptocurrency. They say that it will help the state to fight illegal money transfers. Moreover, central bank has the same opinion but with the condition of creating own russian cryptocurrency. What do you think about it?

It was very good. I read the news that in May Russia should adopt a new law that allows payment by crypto currency. I hope this will be good news.

Russia, like any other country, has its own strengths and weaknesses. And one of the strengths is that Russians are quite skillful and experienced in financial services. Moreover, CEO of the biggest bank in Russia, I mean Herman Gref, is very modern and broadminded person who promotes and facilitates integration all the newest technologies in Russia's financial sector.
As the ex-Minister of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade he has a great experience and authority in economics and politics and diplomacy as well.
So it's not surprising that crypto movement becomes more and more accepted not only by ordinary citizens but also by the government.

And in Belarus, from now on, full legalization of crypto-currencies. Including exchanges for fiat money, conducting ICO, crypto-exchange exchanges with fiat couples.

If you are updatred about any ICO PROJECT which is produced by our Russian friends has a good impact on marketing of crypto , I have been checking some ICO which is base in Slovenia, Estonia, these places are in particularly inside Russia, Putin made the right decision because central banks are controlled or under Rothschild family, and that family has a plan that is why Putin is opposing that, and one tactic is to adopt the idea of cryptocurrency. Soon Russia will be next to Japan adaptability.

The project of the law "About digital assets" in Russia is raw, very uncertain and still needs lots of improvements and adjustments. Hard to say what will come out of it in the end. But, however, yes, Russia is adopting cryptocurrency and that's good news.

It's just an idea from Russia government, it'll be nothing if there is no official announcement from their government about this case to know if they're really going to legalize cryptocurrency or not. After years in this crypto world, for now, I feel like almost news come from any government is untruthworthy so I decided to not believe anything. LOL. For example, China government supports for NEO but they're banning all the way to access to crypto exchange; They banned ICO project for long time ago but now they said that they'll be going to support ICO in their country. LOL.

I don't know if that is one of the reason why Putin made such decision because of that Rotchchild involvement when it comes to monopoly but its really a valid reason though which adopting crypto will be one of the things will able to block such monopoly.It might not able to completely stop but would give some effects since its really a contradiction when it comes to centralization.Good to hear out this positive news on Russia possible adaptation.

The future is here it has come to stay. I don't think govt have a choice than to accept this wonderful innovation called blockchain tech.

In Russia they constantly give out various conflicting information about their intentions with respect to the crypto currency. Until recently, the Minister of Finance stated that according to their constitution, a single currency in the country is the ruble and therefore all other payment means are illegal. That is why a bill was introduced to their Duma on the establishment of criminal liability for the use of crypto currency as a means of payment.
Which of these things will be accepted and used?

Good for them, USA and the NATO alliance has threatened to kick them out of the SWIFT payment system a few times. Cryptocurrency is an excellent way to get around these sanctions and move forward.

There would not be problem for any people I hope bro. Last month Putin said and ordered to financial ministry to bring the bitcoin and top alts to be legal in Russia before June 1st. So there is very soon we may find the bitcoin and alts price bumped back.

I have friends in forum from Russia, simply good in all the options we can invest on cryptocurrencies. They are making money also without big trouble.

You must know Russia :) They want to control everything, including Viber and Telegram. Telegram now is in the process of blocking in Russia. Only several formalities left and it will be done. I would wait for what laws will be adopted with respect to the crypto currency and then would say that it is good for this market or not. Until we see the list of adopted laws, it's too early to say that it will do good! Do not forget that this is Russia!

They constantly change opinion regarding crypto. Half a year ago they wanted to ban crypto, so untill they take final decision and make exact steps, I will not believe it

Sberbank, the largest state bank of Russia, is planning to launch a cryptocurrency exchange in its Swiss branch, Sberbank Switzerland AG, local media group RBC reported on Tuesday Jan. 30.

The bank’s Head of Global Markets Andrey Shemetov told RBC that the Russian bank chose Switzerland for the exchange location because Russian authorities do not currently allow cryptocurrency operations, while cryptocurrency exchange is legal in Switzerland.

“We wish to serve our customers’ interests, that’s why we think that we need to have strategic access to all kinds of products and services,” Shemetov claimed.

As RBC reports, Sberbank is currently developing their trading infrastructure, but Shemetov did not specify when the exchange is expected to be launched.

Sberbank does not plan to provide cryptocurrency exchange to retail investors, but is looking to operate on the institutional level.  “Cryptocurrency exchange operations will be available for legal entities only,” Shemetov stated, adding that cryptocurrency investments are high risk due to market volatility.

Earlier this month, the head of Sberbank, Herman Gref, declared that cryptocurrency should not be banned “under any circumstances”, calling both cryptocurrencies and Blockchain

On Jan. 25, Russian authorities presented the Digital Assets Regulation Bill, which defines and establishes a regulatory system for cryptocurrencies, ICOs, mining and trading.

In general, this is a good step for Russia to legalize the cryptocurrencies and hope that the other countries will follow it. Plus, some countries (like, Russia, Japan, Canada...) knows that the era of digital currencies will have great success in the near future despite there are many attacks for the governments to destroy them, but fortunately they always fail to achieve that bad goals.

The draft federal law On Introducing Amendments to Parts One, Two and Four of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation has been submitted to the State Duma, which provides the basis for regulating legal relations in the digital economy. Every government will accept crypto currency on its own terms and conditions.

If cryptocurrency will have standard operations which can result in having Russian cryptocurrency, therefore it can prevent many scammers and moreover transaction will be more secured and convenient for the people in Russia. Very positive news ! Russian president and the goverment have to integrate cryptocurrencies in russian economy ,the US and EU sanctions are getting more and more severe and this country needs to find a way to get around them and crypto can save Russia from collapsing.

i dont understand why we care about governments approach to cryptocurrencies. ofcourse they will not want to support crypto markets. because meaning of crypto world and blockchain technology is to be able to eliminate any central authority such as banks and governments.

I think that Russia, like many other countries, now has a waiting position. Countries are watching the bubble burst or not. Many see bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a threat to the national currency.
