I am curious on how the outcome could turn, I mean, cryptos are decentralized systems and the involvement of the government could mean just the opposite on the majority of the cases.

Russian government believe that it is necessary to legalize operations with cryptocurrency. They say that it will help the state to fight illegal money transfers. Moreover, central bank has the same opinion but with the condition of creating own russian cryptocurrency. What do you think about it?

It's sounds good since it can regulate and avoid the scams. If cryptocurrency will have standard operations which can result in having Russian cryptocurrency, therefore it can prevent many scammers and moreover transaction will be more secured and convenient for the people in Russia. Hoping that other leaders in other country will try to think about it also.

I think that our population is not yet ready for this. Moreover, we do not yet have the necessary systems for the introduction of cryptocurrencies into various infrastructures.

The Russian authorities want to collect additional taxes from the population. Russia is a country of thieves, and advanced technologies do not interest them

Sooner or later, Russia in the face of state banks will create its own cryptocurrency, convertible throughout the country.

Or they came up with something of their own, the kind that they need to legalize the entire sphere in order to bring their product to the first place, or it's just dust in the eyes.

I think that Russia will not restrict or prohibit the purchase and sale of cryptocurrency. But at the same time, it will try to collect tax from all traders with cryptocurrency.

Definitely not. My friends in Russia say that cryptocurrencies in the country still have no legal status.

Create their own and tell people it's the truth. Who does not understand, and such a majority, will consider that the cryptocurrency is used.

I'm convinced he's already friends! As, reading a news feed, I see news about how Russians earn on it. Our young people are smart and grasp everything on the fly.

Your "young people" at the moment earn with the help of crypto currency, just because the government has not yet passed any laws and does not regulate this industry.

I do not think that our Federal government is going to support this direction, except that the introduction of new taxation for advanced miners, who are not in the shadows.

Once law will be implemented, young population won't stop earning on crypto and some of them probably will move on to dark market avoiding taxes and so on.
Regulation isn't a solution

It will be really a great news for crypto buddies if Russia would do so. I don't know why some other developed countries are not understanding how much the cryptocurrencies could be worth.

There's a lot of talk about it. I would like to ask at once whether deputies headed by the President of Russia are ready to declare and publish crypto which they have? Or this law as always only for ordinary people?

It would be a welcome development to have Russia support the cryptocurrency space. It could also have a multiplier effect on other countries to join the cryptocurrency revolution. I only wish this information is true.

If that happens, it will be very cool. Russia is a very big country and I think that will contribute to the appreciation of the Bitcoin and altcoin

The Russians have always been friends to cryptocurrency as long as I can remember. I am very optimistic that most of the ICO projects have witnessed participation from Russians than most other countries. I won't be surprised to see them have their own Russian currency. It is a very welcome development.
