Although there are obvious benefits to using certain crypto exchanges over others such as high liquidity and the ability to use your fiat currency (not so difficult for those USD holders), but what other factors attract you to a crypto exchange?

Depending on where you are in the world there might not be many options. If you are spoiled for choice you can pick the one with the lowest fees, that supports your fiat and where you can cash out as quick as possible. I would rather use an automatic trading system than an OTC exchange because I feel it is safer.

Fiat is very important as traders often ahve to go through 2 exchanges to purchase any coin other than BTC. There are serious profits to be made on altcoins but you want to be able to cash-out directly. Fiat-to-altcoin trading pairs are amazing if the liquidity can be kept high :)

Sincerely before I do use exchange without considering any factors. But of recent, I discovered I need consider the charges both deposit and withdraw.

The confidence that wherever theres a problem, a support will come to save the day.
The communication is very important to me and that's how I'm gaining trust to these exchanges.

Been able to trade directly to my country fiat would be one of my obvious first choices cos as already mentioned, trading through different exchanges/platform before been able to get the Alts you want, cost some additional fees.  

Yes, the main problem would be that of liquidity, but if the altcoin is already established and popular there will be enough traffic trading with that fiat. Obviously, it also depends on the fiat and how many people trade with it :)

You have to be careful introducing fiat. Countries with a large population of traders definitely need their fiat with altcoin trading pairs. It makes for a much more interesting market when altcoins fortune isn't determined by that of Bitcoin and it gives educated traders more options.

I look out for liquidity, more number of good coins/tokens, easy withdrawals and deposits with low fee. more number of coins so that i could switch them easily without having to convert them back to eth/btc and then send it to another exchange and then buy the coins I want. It saves time and transaction fee too. Of course if loss limit is there then that's a bonus.

In my opinion, there should be no fee to withdraw coins from an exchange and send them somewhere else. Exchanges should trust their platform enough to keep traders coins there, or perhaps that's the point. They know their exchange is inferior.

For me a good cryptocurrency exchange must has good and enthusiastic support team, low fee and fast transaction, fast deposit and withdraw. It also must have automated withdraw, only use manual withdraw for big amount.

Exchange is also the place I keep my money for trading, so I focus on big one. In fact, my trading is only happened on Binance. The other I have account and only used when I need to deal with the coin that is not on binance.

My most considered factor is the reputation. Next one is the speed. In the past I tried Bittrex and it was laggy all the time, same with cryptopia, sometime the laggy can cost you money because you miss the trade in the trend.

Yeah it's a good exchanges if you can withdraw and convert your crypto to Fiat on same exchanges as this is more convenient.

I am used to the route: Fiat -> Coinbase > Exchange. I heard Binane is going to offer fiat trading too, which would be a nice new feature. Right now it's more an inconvenience...I want to convert fiat as quickly as possible, not only to BTC....

Also, I need it to be at the final destination asap...right now, I first have to wait for my funds to arrive at Coinbase. This often takes several hours. Then I send it (foc) to Coinbase Pro (not sure if this is still relevant), in order to convert by limit order (again foc). Only then I send btc or eth to the exhange....

It must have high lever cyber security, store user's money offline. It must have fiat trading pair and fiat withdraw option, this is what other exchanges don't have now.

I am in fond of decentralised exchanges, but their service isn't that good. I don't like when you can make a faulse on forkdelta and sell your tokens for low price or buy something 10 times more.
As for centralized exchages I don't like high withdrawal fees and long confirmation time

The most important thing is the volume and reliability. No quality will stand above these in the exchange. Convenience plays no role if there are no volumes and you can't trust this platform.

Smooth user interface, high trading volume, low trading fees, multiple language support beside English and coin offering is important for me as well.
Security is also one of the factors  I take into consideration when deciding on exchanges.

Mostly attracts me what I use, for instant I like mostly cryptocurrencyes I use, or I think they're useable at least to some good point, when they high i sell, when low i buy, usually. Also if i see any value for arbitraging, I try to do it, but most of the time it doesn't work, because usually exchanges give priority to others to at least some point

For me the best exchange is a combination of High volume , High security ( less prone to attacks ) , a good looking UI , minimum withdrawl fees and Quick support reply and good support behaviour. There are some exchanges who have a huge deposit fee also , i would recommend everyone to not use such exchanges , no exchanges should have deposit fee and minimum Deposit amounts fixed.

no listing of shitcoins makes an exchange more attractive to the trader like binance does not list the useless projects so it is the biggest exchange right now

The exchange which is having high volume attract me because if there is high volume of coins it means liquidity is more buyer and seller more.

For me the number one thing is no bots. I know a lot of exchanges like to tout their automation features as some kind of great feature, but nobody likes being sniped out by a bot, it's just irritating to the non-specialists. I can understand if the majority of the volume will be handled by bots, then it's fair game, but letting them both operate on the same platform is just stupid. Right now I stick with Binance due to the low fees, good customer support and high quality pair availability.

Yes, that's a good thing about crypto currency. Adding the private sender and receiver on it, which is good if want your identity to be unknown. All information is just a letter and number with IP address which is hard to track, for me this is the one of the main thing that attract me most.

as far as I know an exchange with high liquidity or popular usually tend to have quite bad support that it sometimes take a week just to get a single reply that usually is not solving the problem because they got overwhelmed with the amount of message they got but however it still can be tolerated because im sure that the error will not always come up everyday but the main thing that attract me is the probability of being scam quite low compared to new exchange that the owner itself is not revealing identity.

Bittrex has included on the list of worst exchange in this year, Look at the daily trade volume of bittrex and how it goes even lower than before. So many people have problems with it and that make all of them are migrating to the binance and okex. the ol' days when bittrex is leading the way with poloniex, now they are giving bad services indeed, too much problem unresolved if i recall correctly and now their volume can't even compete with newcomers exchange, they have been foreshadowed by binance that's currently on the top
i too sure that it's kinda hard to get the customer again after there's binance and okex as a promising alternative.

I also being well known with good reputation which really users are at ease to join the exchange.
Mostly these reasons are what people wanted to be involved and use daily.

For me personally, the most that really attract me to cryptocurrency exchange is the security, and after that, the trading volume, Between those aspects can be switched. If low volume but greater security i will skip it, i prefer to choose one with a good volume even with a lower security level.

What attracts me when choosing an exchange are how secured it was like 2FA via text message, email and google authenticator. It may sound a waste of time but it surely will protect your funds the hardest way. I also love an exchange that is user friendly and have 24/7 customer support that is super responsive. My favorite exchanges are bithumb, okex, bittrex and binance.

Another factor is to monitor crypto prices, to find the desired crypto, exchange one crypto with another crypto, for trading activities in order to profit from price differences.

When thinking of a good exchange, all I can think of currently is binance because their CEO is known, they have lesser trading fees which would make the traders save a good amount of coins since it is reduce and its coin itself is rising in demand because more people are using and buying it. There are so many exchanges out there. Also there are so many exchanges that have good liquidity. But, fees is my consideration to choosing what exchange that I will use. Specially for day trade. With minimum fees, we can take some profit at least 1%. It's easy. But if an exchange has 0,5% fees, it's make our profit less and lose.

I like exchange with a very high security, because there are many hackers in crypto and i couldn't afford to loose all my assets, also liquidity and trading fee attract me as well, as there are some exchanges that give more potential to the coin itself and charge an affordable trading fee.

What attracts me to a crypto exchange, first of all, is its security issues. If the exchange has no security issues then it is interesting to join. Also if the prices of tokens are good. Example Binance tends to have good prices mostly (not all the time though) than other exchanges.

Well, UI may be something that could be of an advantage, but that does not really matter since you can use your API on any exchange to trade on any other preferable platform anyway. For instance I trade on bittrex, binance and Kucoin using tab trader on my android device.

For my in first place is fee on transaction,and security few of exchange is poor about peoples private information,next things what i need is UI for easy trade,and switch graphs in few seconds,then liguidity,portfolio analise and no fake volume that many exchanges supposed to fake up!

For me on the stock exchange is important reputation, the safety of my assets, trading volumes and a small commission. Equally important is the availability of good support and the ability to quickly withdraw funds.

i think what makes a good exchange is the ability to transact fast and efficient, no fake data and less fee i guess, that is the problem now, many exchanges are doing fake data just to get high trading volumes, and of course, secured the anonymity of the users. they follow KYC but value their costumer's identifications. they must be accomodating various alt too. as they say,  a one stop shop like 7-11.

I normally don't use just one exchange I use more than 2 centralised exchange and 2 decentralised exchange one of them eth based and one of them Neo based. So leave the decentralised exchange. Secondly I check for how much coin they listed(good one). Cause there are many exchange who have many coins but most of them worthless. Good crypto exchangers is very important for every coins that we need. Ofcourse to control the price and volume of it and bad exchanges cant predict any price and lot of them have no volume so the coin will affected for their price.

The first and main feature i consider before making use of an exchange is security. An exchange with huge volume, but with a porous security system, is of no good and is no exchange as far as i am concerned. Even if i make huge sale on such exchange, someone else can easily take over my asset.

Safety usually is the top spot for me when it comes to picking exchanges. All those fancy schmancy features yet they can't back up their security and safety is useless. Now, if they have the best safety features and security then I'm game for it. Features doesn't really give a huge factor for me.

       The system itself will attract me most like for example IDEX exchange on which the step for selling and buying is very easy to perform and no need making an account or registering your email with picture , which is not necessary for just selling a very small of token.

Support is very very important they should resolve issues within 72 hours I read some exchange does this for weeks, now that is not good so if you are going to trade and the coin that you are about to trade just pumped you will end up missing the boat, so far I have no problem with Kucoin they are very fast in resolving issues that come along.

There are several things can attract me to a good crypto exchange. At first there is something like UI, another thing is security and what is more important is liquidity! You know, a lot of exchanges make fake volumes and it is something what I don't like at all.

not all are good, there are some whose safety level is still low, so the exchangers are very vulnerable to hacking, even binanve which is one of the big and reputable exchanges can still be hacked, especially small exchangers, whose development team is not necessarily an expert in that field

Safety is definitely the first.Because the security of funds on any exchange is the most important.Other factors are the volume of transactions, the number of users, and so on.There is the speed of dealing with the problem.Because people don’t want to wait for days because of some problems.

I think what attracts me to a good Crypto exchange is their high quality security and also the currency that they have launched which I see more potential to grow. And I think it will make sure you will have a good earnings to their platform in the future, So basically I don't just only invest with some rumors that I hear to some people I always have my own research with it to a further information to get a better earnings.

First point is security. Now a days we are seeing lot of cyber attacks on renowned exchanges which are stealing users hard earned money. I believe every transaction should follow with 2FA and their firewall should be strong enough so that it can avoid any kind of cyber attacks.
Second most important thing I see is fee. Many exchanges charge too much fees making it impossible for small traders. They should reduce the transaction fees to great extent so that more users can use it.
Third important thing I see is availability of coins to trade. There are very few, one or two exchanges I guess which support most of the altcoins for trade.

Very basic, What attracts me is the their liquidity pool, It creates some big trust of the liquidity pool of the exchange is huge, like, they might have the enough support to their crypto in the market so I can let my money flow through it and provide me with a decent income or profit for an investment through trading.
