Title: [NEW] Hashflare cloud mining
Post by: HashFlare on September 19, 2018, 11:37:41 AM
Hello everyone!

Hashflare has returned to bitcointalk! My name is Mark and it is possible that I have talked to many of you before when I was part of our tech support team. We know that at late our users have been having a lot of questions. We regularly cover them in our blogs and Telegram groups, but nevertheless, there are still many “gray areas” and misunderstandings left that need to be cleared up. So, let’s do that here together! And we will start with two of the most frequently asked questions:

1. My current balance is lower than the minimum withdrawal limit. How can I collect my funds then?

In order to do that, you will have to pass the second verification level and you can find information on how to do it in this (https://hashflare.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000111900-How-do-I-pass-HashFlare-verification-) FAQ article. Please make sure that all of the uploaded images meet the necessary requirements and all of the information is clearly visible, as well as that all of the information on your account matches the information on the uploaded identification documents. Not only will this facilitate the work of our KYC specialists, but will also help you verify your account on the first try.

2. For more than three months now, my balance has been standing still because the maintenance and electricity fees are “eating up” all of my earnings. For how much longer will this go on?!

This issue has definitely been the most painful one. The main reason for that is the steadily growing mining difficulty and you can find the graph displaying it here (https://www.blockchain.com/charts/difficulty?), for example. Using basic math, we can see that since the beginning of the year up to the time this post was written, BTC mining difficulty has increased by 3.6 times. Based on this, a hypothetical user will now earn 3.6 times less BTC for 1 hypothetical TH/s of SHA-256 than he/she would have earned in January 2018. MEF has been $0.0035 per every 10 GH/s for more than 1.5 years now, but as it gets deducted in BTC equivalent, the BTC/USD exchange rate directly affects the sum that gets deducted from your daily earnings.

If you are in need of some further clarification or answers to some general questions, do not hesitate to post them here! However, do bear in mind that all question concerning account issues, pending withdrawals, declined verification requests and other technical issues need to be addressed to our tech support team by sending them to support@hashflare.io or directly through Zendesk in your account panel (Help -> Contact Us). If such questions will be posted here, then they will be mercilessly deleted.

I believe that our return here has been long overdue.

And I doubt that trolls will miss the opportunity to start doing what they live for, but, hopefully, everyone will do their best to keep the discussion civil.

If I am not wrong, Hashflare is one of the longest standing cloud mining provider. So, welcome back to BitcoinTalk. What is your current ROI time for BTC mining?

Indeed, our service has been around since 2015, and thank you - it is good to be back :)

Currently, ROI is in the negative, unfortunately, due to the reason explained in the original post.

Hello Hashflare Team,

When mining will become profitable again? What is the value that Bitcoin needs to reach in order to resume the mining process ?

Hi!

BTC would have to be over $9200 with the current mining difficulty in order for payouts to become greater than the maintenance fee.

Hello!

Yes, once your contracts have expired you can always request a manual withdrawal by contacting our tech support, even if your balance does not meet the minimum withdrawal limit.

Thanks for the answer, if this difficulty goes like this i guess this will be better than nothing.. But my concern is; as i mentioned i always reinvested, should i apply to your tech support for withdraws those everyday small amounts day by day ? or should i wait for the last day of my latest contract's expire ( for total withdrawal ) ?!

Tech support would only be able to perform a manual withdrawal once all of the contracts that are mining a specific coin have expired (when hashrate becomes zero).

Registering for VAT in other EU countries
Usually, you only need to register for VAT where you’re based.

But if you’re supplying digital services to consumers based in other EU countries, you must either:

register for VAT in each country where you’re supplying digital services
sign up for the VAT MOSS service
You need to do this even if your turnover is below the VAT registration threshold.

Digital services
Digital services include things like broadcasting, telecommunications services, video on demand, downloadable music, games, apps, software and ebooks.

Thank you, guys!

The main reason for starting these topics is to give our users another opportunity to receive answers to questions that might have been left unanswered.

Our plans for the near future will be determined by the situation on the cryptomarket, which we all hope will see growth again soon.

Hello Hashflare Team,

When mining will become profitable again? What is the value that Bitcoin needs to reach in order to resume the mining process ?

Hi!

BTC would have to be over $9200 with the current mining difficulty in order for payouts to become greater than the maintenance fee.

Just 9k, everyone told me at least 11k for good profit. Anyway, this all seems like faraway dream now ;D

Guess the information I previously provided was a bit outdated... 10k is the price for payouts to become positive again at the moment.

Yes, they are managed by different people - my colleague is in charge of social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, while I communicate with our users on forums.

I wish that could be easy to just put BTC back by higher demand or supply. Any trend on that from hashflare?

Big institutional investors could help but seems like they don't plan it any time soon.

Indeed, institutional investors may help BTC recover. Unfortunately, we do not have any means to make that happen, as we are also market players and not market makers and we cannot influence global factors that form profitability.

We can't really give any comments on other services for reasons of courtesy and professional ethics, but they all have different business models and operate in their own way. We are constantly looking for different ways to improve our services, but the market situation plays a very significant role in terms of what we can do to improve our own services as well.

I've heard only about problems ;D Thought all cloud mining services are in trouble actually.

These are not the best times for crypto. Hopefully, the market will recover soon.

So why does kyc procedure take so much time??

The amount of requests that we have received is very large and it will take some time for our KYC specialists to process them all, but they are working as hard as they can to process them all as soon as possible.

Fix btc rate somehow Hashflare ;D ;D ;D We miss our profitable contracts!

If we could do that, then we probably would have, but unfortunately, we cannot affect the price of BTC in any way, so let's just hope that BTC will start growing in October like it happened last year.

Of course you can't) Obviously it's not a big department, you should hire more people to make it faster. Verification takes more than a month, crazy. I know it's not your responsibility, I am just saying that many people lose trust in you just because of slow work, I consider future mining with you when btc hits good level but I would like to see that you do sth and try to regard our requests faster.

Right, moreover bitcoin is not a currency in the traditional sense. Thats why its so hard to make any predictions

just impossible( experts were saying all the year it should grow any second...

for verification? How many people?

Yes, we do, but I cannot disclose any information regarding the size of the department.
Ok, no problem, I understand.
Why so many packages ouf of stock on your website?

Sale of all contracts except for ETHASH have been discontinued due to the current market situation.

Is it okay to fill KYC on your site? I just scared if you will use that for something illegal. No offense.

You can read our privacy policy here (https://hashflare.io/privacy-policy/) and of course, we would not be using the provided information for anything illegal.

Hi,

When my contract expires and  I still have less than min limit to withdraw from my account, will i be able to get anything??

 I've always reinvested.. !!   :-\ :-X ???

Hello!

Yes, once your contracts have expired you can always request a manual withdrawal by contacting our tech support, even if your balance does not meet the minimum withdrawal limit.
Too this question interests - the minimum threshold is not reached.
I contacted technical support — I was told that contracts did not return — you can only transfer the account to another participant.
Now that the rules have changed? I just want my money back.

Hello!

KYC (Know Your Customer) is the process of a business verifying the identity of its clients and assessing potential risks of illegal intentions for the business relationship.

It is an obligatory process that requires all clients to prove their identity (in accordance with EU regulations).

Information on withdrawal limits for different verification levels can be reviewed in your account panel: Help - Withdrawals limits.

It will. But if it's only for a few days, it won't help tho. We need it to become stable
How much? To the moon??

The more it increases, the better. To the moon would be fantastic, though

For sure that would be great. But I'm not sure that its possible in foreseeable future.

To the moon? ahah) definitely not, 10-11k will be already such a good present.

Actually it is quite stable already, the price doesn't change significantly for a while which can be the sign of upcoming growth.

@Hashflare, this is just turning into a nested spamfest.
You're supposed to use the "self moderated" function to prevent that.

tmfp has a point, everyone. Let's use this topic for what it was intended - seeking answers to questions that you might have, which I would also be able to answer. From now on, anything unrelated will be deleted. Self-moderation was enabled to get rid of any posts that consist of nothing but profanities/ads/questions that need to be addressed to tech support, so, let's not add another bullet point to that list.

do you have any news to share with us ?
Btc price seems to be frozen   :o

As of now, there is no news. The market situation is the main factor that will affect any future plans. Stay tuned for news and updates - they will be posted on our social media accounts and sent via newsletter.

Hello! What is kyc and why have i go through it?

Ok...So this means I have to go through verification so that some fraudsters do not take over my money? Right?

It has more to the with EU regulations that oblige us to ask our users to verify their identity. But it also enhances the security of one's account as well.

HashFlare is based in the UK and HashCoins (company that provides various services to HashFlare) is based in Estonia; therefore, both companies are required to follow the regulation that dictates that all users of the service are required to verify their identity by completing the KYC procedure.

As stated in our Terms of Service, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

Working with cryptocurrencies carries an inherent risk, as they are very volatile and unstable. Our TOS also have a Risk Notice, which informs users that the market conditions may change at any moment and mining may become unprofitable. Unfortunately, we have no means of changing this situation, as these issues affect everyone equally and are determined by the situation on the global market.

Putting contracts "on hold" is also not possible at the moment.

We are doing everything we can in order to optimize mining profitability in the current conditions and continue monitoring the market. Should we reach any new decisions, we will inform our clients immediately.

The change in contract duration was a necessary step - we were forced to change the contract terms due to the market changes outside of our control. There is a global shortage of hardware and the manufacturers have overflowing orders.

Changing prices for products (in this case - for contracts) is normal practice, which is determined by the acquisition of new equipment, demand, market situation etc. and is done by many companies.

Bitmain, Bitfury, Inno3d, HashCoins are among our main suppliers. They are listed on HashFlare's homepage and in our article on Medium.

I trusted in this company but they went unprofitable.
Only eth? And the prices are too high. You never have ROI.
Other companies like bitcomining (just for example) are currently paying and a lot more.
So I dont understand how hashflare didnt manage this situation. Having their own hashcoins..
It's pointless but well...
Hashflare was great.. hope they can return... too many people lose money with them.

Off topic in a Hashflare thread, but I don't see that bitcomining is profitable, as well as being suspicious of their one page website and complete lack of provenance.
You will never ROI on their yearly contract, nor on any contract with maintenance charges of $0.15-20 per Th/s.

Because of the bitcoin price drops, will the mining contract still continue or it will stop permanently? I remember I still have some hash power bought in Hashflare around 8months ago and I am still way below the minimum amount required for withdrawal. I wonder if I will be able to get it once my contract ends

Contracts shall remain to function without any changes for the time being. Once your contract has expired, you can contact support and request a manual withdrawal.

Hashflare is a scam website of the Hashcoins.
After increasing the maintenance fees and increasing the minimum withdraw continuosly since May 16, 2017 so people can't withdraw anymore, they have froze the mining since august 2018 and theyre asking (for more) money to start the mining again.
Early time when the scamming process became obvious :
May 16, 2017 :
-The withdraw fee has been increased from 30k satoshi to 70k satoshi.
-The minimum withdraw amount has been raised to 80k satoshi .
----So if someone withdrew 80k satoshi gets only 10k satoshi.
In the history all the entries are repeating since august 2018 no matter if its a reason such as "nor profitable" or no matter of the bitcoin value at that time.

https://i.imgur.com/ikd8uiK.jpg
If the mining is flagged as not profitabile why these russian pedophiles are asking for more money to resume the mining ? Oh, they're asking to purchase "new packs of mining" so theyll keep scamming.
The address from Estonia has been changed with one from UK since few months ago  ;D

You have changed the russian address on the website with UK one so people will trust your website more ? :D
I bet in a few months your "office" will move to Costa Rica or Maldives with a "redesigned" website as "[NEW] Hashflare cloud mining". You have opened this new thread and flagged as NEW so the naive people wont see the older complaints about scamming here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1164418.0 . Once in a while every scammer in this world will keep changing the websites, names, balances, etc  creating new topic even with different accounts to positive rate and will continue to make money by scamming people.
Stupid Greedy scammers i hope you get what you deserve from scamming people.
I have proofs (bellow at this comment) to join other scammed people and to show on internet and/or here that i havent recovered the investment. Not even 20% (transfer miners fees included).
Reinvestment feature (on hashflare) is a ponzi proof .
You want to look legal and serious by asking KYC but youre the next biggest bitcoin scammer after Hashocean which probably was opened by you or your gang.
Do not give your personal details to these russian scammers/scumbags and stop donating them your money.
Nothing good comes from the russians on internet, only hackers, scams and pedophile porn websites.
Mark or Bernie Madoff or whatever your real name is, you have made millions of dollars so far with your Hashflare, cryptocurrency bank "Polybius bank" and other crypto coins released such as (Emercoin) and you don't stop .
I am amazed that no authority has started to investigate yet this multi million dollar fraud schemes very well developed and still running created by the Hashcoins and its sister companies...unless Hashcoins have some corrupted politicians supporting.
Bitcoin users before to waste their money on the Hashcoins schemes should do some research https://www.reddit.com/r/hashflare/comments/7l3rll/

And btw, do not dare to talk to me you little russian prick unless you want to apologize for scamming me plus wasting my time and give my money back.

First of all, Crystal11, using insults will not help you get your point across, rather they will make your arguments less convincing.

Second, the amount of misinformation present in your post is so great that I do not know where to begin, but here we go regardless:

After increasing the maintenance fees - maintenance fee has been $0,0035 per 10GH/s of SHA-256 for nearly 2 years now and was only being lowered prior to that.

increasing the minimum withdraw continuosly since May 16, 2017 - due to technical reasons minimum withdrawals have been increased for a certain time, true, but they were once again lowered in July 2018, so the fact that they have been increasing "continuously" is false.

they have froze the mining since august 2018 - despite the current situation stemming from the price of BTC and mining difficulty, contracts are still active and mining is not "frozen".

theyre asking (for more) money to start the mining again. - where and when did the service ever ask for that? This remark is a blatant lie.

May 16, 2017 - Our withdrawal provider Block.io regulated the withdrawal commission. They raise or lower the fee according to the dynamic network conditions.

Oh, they're asking to purchase "new packs of mining" so theyll keep scamming. - Again, where is this information coming from? When and where did the service ask for money to resume mining or offered new contracts since the beginning of June when SHA-256 contracts were suspended?

The address from Estonia has been changed with one from UK since few months ago - HashFlare and HashCoins are two different services, one is based in the UK and the other in Estonia, where the latter provides a variety of services for the former.

You have opened this new thread and flagged as NEW - The new thread was opened because we were away from the forum for a very long time and the old one has pretty much died out and a fresh start was needed. The old thread can be easily located by searching the forum.

Reinvestment feature (on hashflare) is a ponzi proof . - This feature is purely optional and how is it proof of anything?

You want to look legal and serious by asking KYC but youre the next biggest bitcoin scammer after Hashocean which probably was opened by you or your gang. - Now you are just throwing assupmtions and empty accusations around.

I am amazed that no authority has started to investigate yet this multi million dollar fraud schemes - Has it occurred to you that that is because the service is not involved in anything illegal and what the service provides its users with is exactly what was promised in the service's TOS?

Recovered percent : 16.36 % to date since july 2016 !! - Judging by the screenshots you provided, the total amount that you have spent on purchasing contracts is $10.08 (reinvestments and balance purchases do not count, as these are funds that were generated by the service) and the 0.00328881 BTC that you withdrew, even with the current BTC rate of about $4000 equals $13.16.

do not dare to talk to me - You honestly expected to write a bunch of nonsense and thought I would not refute it?

The Bitcoin network difficulty has been decreasing since 2018 OCTOBER 18, and continues to decline (as can be seen in the graph you referenced)..

The bitcoin network difficulty has been decreasing, yes, but the bitcoin price drops. If there is real mining behind them, still they won't be able to sustain profit for their investors because a bitcoin's value is lower that previous months

Yes, difficulty has been decreasing lately, but the original post was made in September when difficulty was still on the rise. And despite the difficulty dropping, the current price of BTC negates any positive trends it might bring.

There is certain information that the company considers confidential and would not disclose (in this regard - electricity prices), while electricity and maintenance fees have always been mentioned on our homepage in the contract description, among other places. Videos and photos from our data centres have also been published multiple times, as well as the article (https://blog.hashflare.io/hashflare-mining-suspension-reasons-aftermath-and-answers-to-questions-8add5d8210f4) which talks about our hashpower, which we lent to our clients.

Dear Hashflare, I hope BTC mining will return. It would be good and also fair for us, that we invest a lot of money in the packages of SHA 256, that the time of the contracts be extended, including those contracts that have expired, since like you, we are also victims of the price fall of bitcoin. That gesture will not lose customers and will speak well of you and return confidence in the company.

The sooner you submit the documents - the sooner they will be processed.

Jaslak It does not matter how many funds you have on your account, 0.15, 0.5 or 15 ETH - the only thing that matters for a successful KYC verification is whether the correct high-quality images were uploaded and that the data on the documents correspond with the information on your account. I am not certain where you got the information that only accounts with high balance are being negatively affected.

KYC became mandatory for many services in 2018 and we were forced to introduce this procedure, while it was not required when the service started its operation.

I do not possess the statistics for the number of accounts that were successfully verified, the only thing that I may say for certain is that if all of the images was submitted correctly, with all of the information visible and accurate, then the account will be verified; otherwise, the documents would have to be resubmitted to meet all of the necessary conditions.

The queue is long due to the number of verification requests submitted, not because most of the accounts are already empty.

Oh yes. Verification is a very tiring process. I would even say that it requires some experience.  Only after several verifications on different exchanges, I've learned how to pass them on the first try :-\

then you know how easy this procedure can be if you try to do KYC for one time )

Hi,

When my contract expires and  I still have less than min limit to withdraw from my account, will i be able to get anything??

I've always reinvested. Now STILL NOTHING and day by day my hashrate contracts ending and power is going down . !!    ??? :-\ >:(

Dont you think you should pay at least the minimum number that before the date this maintenance difficulties start.. I refuse total zero for one year long

After your contracts have expired you can contact support and request a manual withdrawal if your balance does not meet the minimum withdrawal limit.

The service is not planning to perform any compensation at the moment.

Any comment on Hashcoins being in SCAM section?

That dates back to the time when HC was still assembling and selling mining equipment. However, due to the number of orders that the service could not meet, the production was discontinued and some of the clients did not receive the miners that they have ordered, but they were all compensated with cloud mining contracts at HashFlare, which not only allowed them to get the paid amount back but also make a profit. To put it short - in the end, no one lost their money.

It's great that you learned how to pass on the first try. I still have some problems, just now I am waiting answer from HF. I hope this attempt will be successful.

This is a completely thievery fiddle, after all reinvestings we have 0 and still waiting for more than 1 year but nothing happens, and you dont renew the contracts automatically, this is nobody's fault and you are the only side who make profit by doing nothing!, 1 by 1 contract dates ending which reaches 365 days, so dont blame the maintenance fees, this is your choice to make people cursing you .. i hope all the responsibles die before spending these moneys..  ""The service is not planning to perform any compensation at the moment.""  >:( peehhh my *ss

Reinvesting is not a default feature, the user himself chooses whether to enable it or not. In order for anything to change, mining difficulty would need to drop significantly and BTC price would have to soar - factors that our service cannot influence in any way. Users were informed of the risks that accompany dealing with cryptocurrencies in our TOS before registering and while registering users confirm that they understand the risks and accept them.

Would Hashflare be able to extend members contracts by the number of non-payment days at the end of the contract?

WHY WOULD YOU NOT EXTEND THEM?! Please answer this question, During the not profitable months of mining did you have the miners still running? Shouldn’t have been...So shouldn’t of had much expenses then. Should of just suspended the contracts till mining can resume. So your just keeping investors BTC that they payed you and you didn’t even have the miners running? Most if not all, expect 1yr of actual mining like the contract says, not oh well it’s not profitable now so we’re just not going to not mine now and we get to keep your BTC you invested.  Lol, somethings wrong here and I see lawsuits coming if you don’t make this right and extend the contracts.

Even if the equipment would have been turned off, it would have still needed to be maintained and rent would have had to be paid. According to our Terms of Service, all contracts were supposed to be terminated after 21 consecutive days of unprofitable mining when MEF exceeded daily payouts, but the service decided to keep the contracts active. With the price of BTC as low as it is, as well as mining difficulty hovering around the same value for a very long time, it is impossible to predict when mining might become profitable again.
