I want to know that which will be more profitable in future BTC or alts? Though i am a die heart fan of BTC but for now i think alts will be more profitable than BTC. So what's your opinion? Comment please.   

It's true that both BTC and altcoins have potential in the future. However, as you can see there are over thousands of altcoins that gains more than bitcoin each day. The market is not as good as before, but, some altcoins are still recovering, unlike bitcoin. It actually depends on the timing, just make sure to stay updated before choosing where to invest.

alts totaly follow the btc so my answer is btc buy while it is cheap. alts depend on the btc any negative or postivie movement in the btc prices effect the overall market.. put your money into btc

During the last bull run when btc grew multifold and hit nearly 20k mark, even them many alts yielded more profits as compared to btc if we compare the percentages but personally i keep most of my investment in btc and eth as im most confident about them, alts tend to be more profitable but they are also more risky as they can also go down multifold, so you can diversify according to your risk management.

The answer you are asking is basically impossible to answer without some way to travel to future ;D. Nobody knows (and I mean NOBODY) how this market will eventually play out. I personally think that BTC will always stay but a lot of alts will die out. Some alts though will sore to new heights :).

Although btc's value is much cheaper now than the year-end of last year but still it is very expensive to an ordinary person thus making people turn their heads and look for much cheaper altcoin and honestly they are more profitable than btc because even just a slight pump of price we can benefit from it because we are holding lots of altcoins.

You can't really answer this question.
For sure there will always be an altcoin more profitable than BTC during bull market, but it's difficult to predict which one altcoin it could be. Profitability of altcoins come from the fact there are new altcoins created everyday and their starting price is often low, maybe as low as BTC in 2009 so you can get loaded with very little investment. But with greater potential return the risks are also greater.
So theoretically alts will be more profitable, but it's difficult to know which ones, so if you invest $100 in alts you can lose money or earn a lot, wherever $100 put into bitcoin will give you some smaller but more sure profit.

Alts are mostly for trade. Not much are holding it except Tether if they cannot still pick what altcoin they will buy and trade again.
Although I have one altcoin which I have been holding for quite some time by now. I will still prefer to hold bitcoin.

Most of the Altcoins will be destroyed. I think it's the right decision to buy Bitcoin. Altcoin investment is risky, but Bitcoin investment is highly reliable.

Surely alts will be more profitable than btc. If you look coinmarketcap and look some altcoins charts you can see that but same time alts have some huge risks.
If you can choose the right one and if you will decide to sell your alt in right place you definetly earn more money from alts more than btc.

There are thousands of altcoin but one bitcoin. Bitcoin will follow a known path according to it's history and trend but you can not pin point any altcoin that will follow a specified or known trend. Although, when altcoin rises, they usually do better than bitcoin.

altcoins have smaller daily trade volume and the price is a lot easier to pump/dump compared to bitcoin.  that's why many pump/dump group are getting lots of income from doing this from time to time.  bitcoins, on the other hand, are too big volume that one group can't alter much the price of bitcoin.  to sum up, bitcoin offers more stable growth but not so much percentage.  altcoins are risky but you can earn more or loss more.

If holding, then BTC is much safer than any other coin but Altcoins have a chance to +%ROI higher.

Finding a coin much more profitable than bitcoin is gonna be a hard task for anyone, If bitcoin wasn't the most profitable coin in the market then we would have another coin with a much bigger hashrate and of course a higher price than bitcoin. It doesn't really matter much because most of the changes are momentary, if you have a good alt that you think can give you a good profit, go and invest, the good thing about alts is that they are quite volatile and can explode at any time, that's why they are so attractive to many, I personally like both and try to be guided a little more by  the technology.

You can't compare bitcoin and altcoins because their tasks are different.  Bitcoin is created for the single currency of the crypto industry, and altcoins are created to support the infrastructure of the crypto industry itself.  But if I return to your question, I can say that for the next 7 years it will be beneficial to buy altcoins at a dump and keep it until PUMP.  Then change them to bitcoins.  And in general, the best hodl bitcoin.

Me too do not like it but there is no independence by now. They will just move everytime bitcoin moves and it is same with Ethereum which is the probable cause for token using ERC20 to go down over and over again.

I currently buy altcoins and as soon as I see profit X4-6 I immediately sell them and translate them into bitcoins.  As long as bitcoin is cheap, I make purchases of it.  As soon as it starts going up, I will keep the altcoins not sold out until they grow up.  What would then buy Bitcoin again.

Yep altcoins is more profitable, but the problem is which altcoin will be pump? you know too many altcoins in the market, but my favorite altcoins that can profitable in the future are NEO, ADA, ETH and EOS they are good to hold.

actually both is good to make investment for long run especially btc which is very promising and for sure will bullish again soon.  But when it comes altcoin i suggest to pick those had good records previously to assure you can obtain profits when market stabilize again such EOS, xrp and etc .which is don't easily invest on some coin if you have no specific information or it has no good performance, 'cause it's not a good idea to hold especially long run.

Altcoins are alternative coins to Bitcoin. Bur every alternative has pros and cons. It depends on many factory. Nobody can say you if altcoins will overbeat Bitcoin or not.

Its not about the time really, its about the coin itself. If the coins are having great project ideas then surely they can be far more profitable than the BTC for sure. I mean a coin which is having value worth few cents can be bought in mass bulk and later with few percent hike also it can give us huge money back. Its all about the quantity when it comes to the altcoins because they are already undervalued and thus having more quantity can change the equations very easily after they make some hikes.
You will observe this kind of changes when you actually make such trades by holding the coins.

In bear market BTC will sound very slow when it turns to dominate the market it will skyrocket the market with best result like it did yesterday. The bitcoin dominance is still at 53% so to me it is very clear that bitcoin is in a position of strength and that altcoins in general are not giving the profits that are expected out of them, there are two ways to manage this if you want to earn money with altcoins, one strategy is to take a position right now that all the market is very cheap that way when the market of altcoins recovers you will get great profits, but the risk is that if you select bad coins those coins could crash before the recovery.

And the second way to try to make money out of altcoins is to wait until you see a change in the bitcoin dominance and altcoins begin to take some of that dominance back, this is less risky but your profits are not going to be that good.

Then altcoins grew actively and faster than bitcoin and I was sure that it is necessary to invest in them to earn more money. but the last year showed that if I invested only in bitcoin, I would now earn more. The chance of that is almost zero but how likely is that a coin with only a few million in its market cap could reach a value of zero for each coin? That is way more likely and we see that almost every day, so while the profits that bitcoin can give are not as good as before now the chances that you lose all your money are almost zero.

Personally, I prefer to invest about 60% of my money in the purchase of BTC. And 40% of the money I invest in reliable altcoins, which have already proven themselves in the market.

I think the time will come and some promising revolutionary Altcoin will shift the BTC. After all, we are not standing still, technologies are developing, this should happen in any case. Nothing is eternal.

I really don't know how, but when bitcoin is low in price, that's the time you buy everything you can... Bitcoin too, because when everything its in the sky with price, that is the worst possible time to buy any coin I rather shop and spend bitcoin than doing the opposite of what am I saying. Bitcoin is so strong it takes all the other values with him plus some pumps and/or dumps here and there.

Both have potential but there is 1 BTC where you can invest and many many alts so if you want choose alt, then do your best, find good one, not shitcoin.

If you think altcoins are more profitable than BTC then go to Altcoins, there is nothing wrong on believing with Altcoins because a lot of investors now already profited with alts. Bitcoin is not good at this point, unlike before that a lot of big investors are investing with it, but as of now, a lot of big investors already turn their back to bitcoin and invest with altcoin because they think that it is more profitable with alts than bitcoin.

if for the future, I still think that BTC is more profitable than altcoin, because BTC has a reputation that is undoubted and able to survive and also able to compete very strongly compared to other coins

When altcoins and bitcoin are at the bottom point, it's a good opportunity to be able to buy it and hold it for some time so that it gives an advantage.

In a bear market, holding Bitcoin is better, because most of investors consider it the safe haven, but when we turn into confirmed bull market, you can start buying altcoins, some of them will give better ROI than Bitcoin.

bitcoin will always hold 50% of my investment. Altcoins are good too. Ethereum I give 30% of my investment and the rest for other coins. for 2 years, I have not changed my position.  I'm comfortable with that.

Do you want big risks, big challenges and terrible profits? So I suggest you invest in bitcoin right now, because the prices are dropping so fast and no sign of increasing and that will be a challenge for you. But think you go, once the BTC increase, you will have huge profits ;D.

depends on the current market cycle. BTC will last longer than most alts for sure and when it drops it drops less %wise, but alts pump faster

For me, bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency that can be. I do not think that it will be possible to replace the best cryptocurrency of the market with some altcoin. They're not at that level yet.

Nobody argues that bitcoin is strong, but now it is simply not yet developed so strongly to move all the altcoins. Altcoins include many features that are simply not available for Bitcoin

Better to invest in an altcoin, Bitcoin reached its max a long time ago. I still have some BTC but I am currently in buy Horizen (ZEN) We never have enough LOL.
But like I said few crypto worth better investing it compared to BTC...

I am sure later Altcoin able to have development that is so inflated and
 generate more profit and progress brought Altcoin to have a much higher price and are able to replace the Bitcoin for future.

The future of the market is directly related to bitcoin and the bulk of your money is better stored in BTC. But if the price of altcoin rises in relation to bitcoin, you will get more profit. To do this, study the market, choose a reliable altcoin and invest some money in it. I think Ethereum is a great option for that.

  It is your personal preference, we have different choices either we go for Crypto or ALT coins, Investment to either of the two would required our own decision to make, remember that Market is Volatile, it is unpredictable, anything can happen with out our knowing? if we look at the market preview, we can notice the different of ALT coin performance against Bitcoin in the market, with the drop of Bitcoin some ALT coin gain momentum, yet still market is Volatile...
