Considering the recent downtrend on the crypto market in less than 24hours, the market has recovers over 10% profit.

Many start-up projects has delayed listing for months due to the market conditions

Many listed projects who have listed below ico price for the fear of its price being dumped.

Holder don't know if to sell or hold.

What are we to expect next? Bull run or just a trap?

I am expecting a trap and an anger from the traders, afterward, the price is starting to make a move.
as we can see, the price is increasing for more than 10% because of a news that came from Nasdaq. Even after that good news came up from Nasdaq, the price is only increasing for just 10%. That means, people still afraid of it and still under pressure.
Capitulation is at its finest right now, and I expect something from the capitulator after the price is increasing for more than 15%.

Recent growth is bull trap! Look how many longs are on Bitmex and soon they will close their long to take profit, after this we will go again to the 3000 level 8).

Yes this sudden pump will boost the volatile market but this need to go continuous for 3more days. If the value crosses more than 6.5k then we can expect a bull run I got this information from one of my friend who is expert in cryptocurrency. I guess happiness or on the way.

For me it looks like a strong bullish momentum and if we see the charts as well we can see double bottom and bounce from those levels so in my opinion we will see some decent recovery and hopefully the positive trend will continue for atleast couple of months.

The moment I saw the appreciation of the price of bitcoin to the above $4k, I knew there would surely be a thread like this and lo and behold, I was not disappointed. The current trend really calls for caution but it does not mean market activities won't continue and if we want price to increase, it just needs to happen. So, it does not matter whether its a trap or not, its left for the market participants to decide.

I think the BULL market will came soon. Maybe it will came during 5/6 months. Whatever at this time we can't see any good news. The market looks like as past days. But I believe, soon, these all will become a normal situation. So the main thing is, don't sell you tokens at this time, If you did that, it means you to be lost. Be patient for a few time. All will become normal.

The market will recover soon. The decline in bitcoin and many other altcoins in recent times is a whale trap trying to make investors shudder and dumping altcoin that they are holding. That is just a trap and the market will soon recover. We should keep the altcoin we have and wait for the whale to return. I believe the mayor just need a short time to develop high value again

The market will surely recover but don't expect much so fast. It might not be back to where it was but it will be stable.

Bull or trap ?
More like a trap. I think now the market will not turn around. Of course + 15% BTC is good. But looking at the high rates of decline tomorrow it may be - 30%.

They should have a planned goal because the market will always change. Whether it's bitcoin or other coins. Many people are easily affected by market conditions, always hoping the market shows a positive trend.
But we also have to understand that there are always 2 conditions that will occur, namely, downtrends and uptrends. We must be prepared for these conditions if we want to last a long time in cryptocurrency.

I think that we may have few positive days, but not much after it. It is too early for the market sentiment to turn positive (bullish).
Maybe we are entering neutral zone or we really hit the bottom in the last few days of horror.

It is difficult to say what is happening now with the market and how to behave but if you believe in it then invest in parts and in case of a fall buy more. I personally do.

It can be considered a trap only if you walk into it. I would rather consider the current phase as a "handle with care" zone. Don't go all in and use stop loss.

Now bitcoin and ethereum show an increase of 15 percent. Moreover, Bitcoin increased in price to $ 4337, and ethereum to $ 123. This is a very good indicator of growth for the last day. We hope that the same trend will continue. Perhaps we can still see a good bull market by the end of this year.

There is no bull run in sight and you should know that bitcoin and most of the altcoins are not supposed to go down the ways it goes. I believe that we should keep watching on how the event unfold as there should be strong reason why a bull run should start.
I sold some of my holding yesterday and really I am regretting because I could have hold them a little but that is the nature of this market and we have to take loses sometimes.  The whales that push the price up will soon start to take profits very soon and it might come down a little again.

In my own opinion, i think it's a big trap because December is few days away from now, the market might dip down again because a lot of people might be looking to sell off for the Xmas season

If you look at the weekly chart, it seems that the bull run will occur in December but bad things can happen suddenly considering that there is a lot of manipulation in the crypto world. It's really going to be bullish or just a trap, I think it's no problem to start buying a few coins from now on, but if not sure you can play short-trade

Market is moving now and i am seeing a better forward now.
I think this is not a bull trap as most people are just waiting for the reopening of BCH transaction which is BCHABC now.
BTC will go back to normal and will rise in the market while BCHABC will fall as many holders will sell it just to get BTC and ETH.

And conversely, I think this is a trap for hamsters. We're still in this year did not fall below 3000 dollars per BTC? No. So I think, that such a fall is possible. Too soon we started to grow. Plus soon the new year and courses will also be slightly reduced by this time.

I am stil hopping for bull run. Market is quite stable now. Alt are recovering their price. From the research of chart i can say we are very closed to the bull run.

I am not seeing any bull run at the moment, market have just recovered because people have stopped dumping and more people are buying, in few days or weeks to come, the people that bought will sell off and market might dip again, so it's a trap in my own opinion

Next bull run will be sooner than we expect which we know is the attribute of cryptocurrency market. The next bull will not be a trap but the real and long awaited bull run which will make the next millionaire in the industry. As an optimist, I feel we are to experience another bull run because of the change in the price of most tokens in the last 24 hours. I expect this to be another bull run rather than trap.

Holders will remain holders, we're bound to hold until we see the same price like December 2017. I mean not all holders are going to be like this but we have our own plan on when to sell and I think this isn't enough for most holders to push through selling.
We need to wait for more greener days before it will make us decide if its the sell offs are ready.

Most probably i think this can be trap. I don't think this market recovering can be happen in few days. obviously that quick up is very quick to get decision about this market.

The crypto market taught me one thing, you should always be ready for any turn of events. I am convinced that the market is being manipulated, and therefore it is very difficult to predict the next market move. However, if this is so, then all variations of events are waiting for us. Btw our main task is to avoid traps.

Smile.. Bull market like they have been saying since August till now just do what you have to do and forget about the so call bull run. I believe bull market have start whenever i see ethereum at $300 in just two weeks time and bitcoin in $7k if not you haven't seen anything called bull talk of him running.

You are still in loss and you can decide whether to keep on holding and wait for the value to come up that's equal to your invested money. And good for you that you are into long term, patience is one of the key on this market.

We are very far from any bull run.
We had a massive crash of the market last weeks and it is normal that the market try to bounce back and start recovering.
We have to monitor what happens in the next few days and if BTC recover to the previous levels around $6k and the green market continuous then we can consider eventual bullish market.

If you're planning for long term investment then do nothing and just wait for it to grow. It's only normal in crypto market to go up and down since some people sell and some people would buy.

I think that the bull race will start no earlier than 2019 and it is important to understand this. before January-February next year it is senseless to expect it

don't expect bull run. It's just speculation that does not clear base and giving false hope. It is better to wait and observe only the movement of the real in the marketplace to determine the action to be performed. this is a trap, we all saw many orders on selling BTC, I think that it will fall lower than 3000$ and then we are able to expect the rising.

The reversal trend and why? I expect the bullrun will happen if there will be more big news from US. so far i am not sure if it is a trap or if the market is really recovering. i am waiting another 24 hours and then look how the market is developing. if the prices continue to develop positive until then, i will probably buy a few cheap coins with my last money.

More information is that the market is being pumped by some of the wealthy they make the market out of control and they make the market more bullish and sharply lower.

I believe that there should be coming bull run in the crypto market,because not all the times the market will be bearish,everythings will be placed according to its proper time,because just like disame other business there should be ups in down and all we can do is to wait and become patience to wait the  moment when the crypto market will rise again and thats is the virtue of patience.

No trap will going to happen if the HODLers will still going to trust the cryptocurrency that they have. If you sell, you lose, if you hold, it's safe. As simple as that. In this current market situation, the rabbit is unpredictable and we should observe first and play safe.

After the big selloff in crypto market, it is going to get a decent bounce at least. If Bitcoin reclaims the $6K level again, bull will have another chance.

It certainly is a trap, i would say. After the last days i do not trust the market anymore and now to set a trap would be very clever from the big whales. But whether i am right with my guess, we see in the next few days.

Would have been more interesting if you had done it as a poll. If the majority had answered it was a bull market I would have known it was a trap and vice versa, if they had said trap I would know to go long. Taking the contrarian view has always consistently made me money.

$6,000 is going to be there soon but I don't think that's enough evidence that we will have another bull.

$10,000 to $15,000 should be a great indicator that the market is going to bull soon.

The recent rise is only big in percentage terms, in actual dollar price it's very small compared with prices earlier this year. A 10% rise when the market has already dropped 90% basically would be the same in dollar terms as a 1% rise before thd rop.

We need to be careful looking just at % values. I don't think this rise is really a rise, it's just a minor blip so far... I think we would need a quick recovery to about $200 billion for the whole market before we could say we were rising.

The bullrun market or our trap will be ready to face this, this is the world of crypto that happens so many surprises and manipulations. But positive thinking is the best thing to do and certainly will help to make our emotions better.

I think the price changes that are so fast and unpredictable are very profitable for someone who chooses long term investments, they will not focus on decreasing and increasing bitcoin prices at the moment but they just wait when the targets they want are passed and sell their assets to get profit. So as they will not be nervous for information about the bull trap, this price decline has occurred in the mid-2018.

How can you say that there are large volumes but there's no price increase? yesterday what was the price of bitcoin? I think you are blindly looking at the market by just looking at those volumes but doesn't consider a $100-$200 increase for bitcoin. Today that increase means a lot to us.

The possibility can occur, when a drastic price reduction will also be followed by a drastic price increase. I think this is because there are many people who believe in the future of the crypto currency, the panic selling that happened before is not as if they already don't trust the crypto currency but they want to take the opportunity to buy at a low price.

It would sound too good to be really happening if this is a start of the bullrun. Normally, the market will calm down and will stay for a year up to 3 years before it start to climb up again like it did last year. This is what I noticed because it also happened since 2013. Today's market is quite confusing because the fundamental results doesnt match on the technical results these past few days. There are positive news for crypfocurrency but a downward price happened exaggeratedly. This could be a bull trap if bitcoin will be unable to sustain $4200 for 1 week. First of all, a few percent price increases, this is not a bull run and for a reall bull run we will have to wait a long time. Bull trap has been happening everytime there is a bounce in the market after heavy dump.  To confirm bull market,  market must consistently rise for at least a month, that also go for coin as well!

Imo this pullback was bull trap for riding hopes of losers ;) I wait for dust to settle before accepting decision about price action. Stable growth will be better than something uncontrollable. Bull market will show signs on charts and it will not happen in 20 days like in previous years.

Good day. With this situation I will be very careful not to be affected by FOMO. Its always safe to buy the dip and don't buy when it starts to pump and get trapped in the end. I've learned that from previous trades and lost a lot of money. I'm a newbie trader and learning is hard.

It is too early to say if market has turned the corner. Bitcoin needs to get solidly above $6K before it can be considered bullish. It may take  some time and more than one try.

You should buy when the market is weak and down.

You get a good entry point when the market isn't so good. But it's up to you and if you really think that you can see a future dump will happen, then it will. We usually see those dumps happen frequently so its not really new whether you expect it or not, it will come.

Its clearly a trap. After they sold them at the higher price they will now start to buy it at lower price so obviously a trap specially that the price did not become stable to rise up because maybe some crypro users are already learned a lot from this year market movements.

Crypto currency is the another name for trap  :P Sometimes I am forced by my brain to think on this but I am collecting facts and knowledge about this field. But fluctuation in market again forced me to think on the reality of crypto currency. As last week I was expecting that this is the lowest point but market is again down today.

I think a bull run will soon be possible this December, because I have seen a lot of bull run signs probably going to happen, wait for the best moment to sell at a very expensive price.

I have heard many opinions about the question of where the market will move on, but I am of the opinion that it will fall. The bull market will not be soon.

Yes, we should be able to experience price increase of the market at the end of this year but we must also put into consideration the length of the market corrections which occur this year and we both know that things are easy to destroy/spoil but hard to build. What I am trying to point out is that it will take the market awhile before we can experience that much of pump in price.

It's retesting the market condition and might correct in the 4k level and create a support in the area between 4-5k. Such is a healthy market rather than parabolic to shoot again until it reaches a very high peak then drop sharply.

Like we can see now, this indeed was a bulltrap. Also, this was rather easy one to call 'cause of how similar it was to all of the previous pumps we have had this year. It goes like this: all red -> fast rise for two days -> people think that this is the end of bear market -> strong sell-off.

Still the question remains to be have no specific answer because no knows what could be the result of tomorrow's value. Everyone is only speculating which it is somehow help the hodler to be positive.

Trap as it is.
Price won't move further other than $4,000 and it is staying there. Wait for another movement maybe after few more days and see if this isn't a trap but I'm still optimistic that we will get out of it.s

I think it will be very difficult this year for BTTC and Altcoin, some good news is still not enough to raise the price of BTC, this indicates that people are still afraid to invest again and still waiting.

Just be careful when you want to decide and make sure you analyze before you do something. The market is trying to recover, and we know that the market still moving to good progress and some coins can rise although it's for a little price. People expected the bull market would happen soon and some of them still buy and sell the coin to make a profit. Although there is a trap at the market, as long as we can analyze before we buy or sell, we can prevent to get a big loss and even we can get a profit.

I do not know if to call this a trap but we are not going to see a huge recovery as many people are expecting, we are going to see price around 4000 for some time and only after a few months there will be a chance to go back to prices above 6000 as we were used to, so if I were you I will wait a little bit to invest in the market if what you want is to obtain fast profits.

The bull run will happen soon since it has been for long that price was down. Expect the price of crypto that up and down so nothing is wrong by holding the coins until now.

it is not clear whether Bitcoin will rise or fall. It is important to remember one thing, if you have altcoins do not sell them now!

Again and again, Bitcoin has problem with pass through the resistance line and this means only one thing - again Bitcoin is going slowly down, and thanks to that altcoins going to the hell  ::).

It would be hard to tell that the market will no longer recover. There is a higher tendency that it would but one thing is for sure; no one knows when will such thing occur. As such, it would be better to not make any action at this moment particularly with investing to newly listed cryptos in order to not fall into trap if ever the recovery will be taking more months to occur.

We saw many traps in this cryptocurreny and we will still see the many traps. I think Cryptocurrency's prices will not increase for 2-3 months. We should wait more for good increasing or Bull trap I dont know. We should be more carefully than past.

Bullmarket is yet to come and we don't know when will such thing occur. This surely confuses the investors to do their thing. They are now scared to invest despite of the huge advantage that would possibly give them profit because there is also a huge risk. for me its a trap. i have seen many attempts in breaking resistance this year and i think this is not the right time to have a breakouy because of the market sentiments as well as the market psychology. for me it will be next year.

I think for a couple of weeks, we will not see any significant change. And than who knows :D Would give a little more chance for bulls, simply because bearmarket can not last forever, and lasted long enough IMO.

It is clear that the situation of this market is the bull trap. The exchange rate of this market has fluctuated and not stable. In some moment, the price is going up more than 10% just one day but then has a sharp decrease due to the sell of the investors to make a profit. So that the bull run will happen in the future when everything is ready for this.

Nobody really knows for sure when the bull market will start. These small up and down moves do not help clear the scenario so far.

I see from some of the history of bitcoin price movements from 2013 to 2017 every end of the year having a very good movement every end of the year will definitely go up and will be green and my hope is that a bull run can occur at the end of this year.

Pure manipulation.. and i think that this will continue for some time, they are still trying to short bitcoin as much as they can and i think that it will finally happen.

They want to make as much money as possible, and then close the short positions to start pumping it again.

Now it looks like the market is going to the better condition. The price is increasing but in slow motion in this position in the long term many investors come to invest in Bitcoin and other coins and this make the market rich. So we can consider it as a bullrun of the Bitcoin market and have to satisfy and to wait a little more.

I think the drop in the price of bitcoin is not yet over and according to some crypto analyst s or expert, it will further go down this yearend. Lack of positive factors will continue to drive the market down and bitcoin might not even going to break $5k for few months. Some investors are also waiting for the bottom price of bitcoin before they start buying again so it is not certain if bullrun will coming this december. But if this the decline of prices is caused by some whales or manipulators then it is difficult to know when will they pump the again.

The bigger players in the game are seeing the opportunities and are investing their money in a clever way. I think a new bull run will happen earlier than we expect.

I wish you were right, but the length of the bearish period is not the proof of the bullish time coming soon. The market can remain too much volatile for several months more - we need to wait.

We are in the first week of December and we have not seen any incline movements on all altcoins. Price are going sideways and no confirmation that we will have a bull run before the year ends.there is also a strong possibility for the value to drop.

It would be interesting to know what you base your conclusions on. I have heard many predictions and assumptions, but many of them are based on the expectation of positive news regarding the adoption of cryptocurrency, government regulation and taxation, the adoption of the ETF, the arrival of institutional investors, and so on. But all this will not happen until next year, so I see no reason to wait for the bull trend before next year.

Do not conclude too quickly that the market will recover soon, we do not know where the location is basically the possibility of prices going down again, we should first look at market movements.

Actually, at this time we can't predict anything in here. I think the 2018 year is a most dangerous year to the crypto. Personally, I have never seen like this market in my crypto career. However, at this time all the people's hope is when will the bull run come? My answer is, we don't know when it arrives. But we can keep our hopes because the market gives some signs of the uptrend.

I personally don't think the lull before the next bull will take as long as last time (3 years)...but I also don't expect it very soon. I feel all previous bubbles were in some way leading up to this crazy mania in 2017.

I think this one is a bull trap, since BAKKT is just around the corner, those who have the funds can make it look like a bullish market but then when the bull pace begin they will sell their coins making the price cheaper then set at buy order at a lower price while putting more pressure on the buy wall by setting up a huge sell wall.  Those impatience seller and in need of money then sell their coins cheaper since they are in a hurry to convert their coins/token to cash.

I hope we're not in a trap right now. The bull season should now come and investors must make some money. Many investors are using the fiat choice and stopping to invest. I hope we will see a nice price rise :)

It is a very frustrating situation for the holders who bought their coins at the peak and it is very hard to tell at this moment when will bulls come back. 2019 has a lot in its store like bakkt launching, NASDAQ bitcoin futures, ETF's so there is the catalyst to rely upon for the uptrend but we may have to face a few more months of this red market pain.

I think that so far this will not happen. There will be no growth. The maximum that I would like to count on now is to stabilize the situation and stop the price fall.

We are nowhere near a bull market at the moment. Yes we have seen prices rises of 10%, 20% over the last day or so - but we need to set this against the losses that have gone before.
If a coin was $100 in January but dropped to $10 over the course of the year, then a 10% rise would only take it to $11. Or to put it another way, a coin that has seen a 90% price drop would then need a 900% gain to return it to its starting position.

The price movements at the moment look big in percentage terms, but in actual numbers not so much.

I'm going against most of people here and say I think we will go up a lot soon. RSI is very oversold, we have head and shoulders, all very promising signals for a reversal of the trend to bullish.

There is clear bearish divergence while looking at that short upwards run...so literally all you have is a head and shoulders that hasn't actually formed yet and technically won't as the "head" is way too close to the "shoulders" to be considered a head and shoulders...meaning that it is going to be closer to a triple bottom than a head and shoulders if the pattern even forms...and even then it is a poor outlook as on week view you are going to see that we have part 1 of a double/triple bottom, or a possible head and shoulders, not a H&S...which is the outlook anyone trying to predict reversals should be looking at.

It is too early to say that it is a trap or not. I think that after exceeding the level of 6000 USD will we know if the next drops of prices are ahead of us, or this is the end of the bear market.

I'm still cautious that we might actually have a final full on capitulation that basically halves everything one more time, before we really go. At least that's what the bears keep telling me. The bull market has not started yet and I am hoping ethereum excitement will affect cryptocurrency in genetal. I think the moment bitcoin start to rise, ethereum would probably double in price as well!

There's no indication of a bull market starting yet. The only hope at the moment is that the ETH resurgence due to the upcoming fork can pull some alts up with it - which could happen as many have ETH as the primary trading pair.
Crypto overall is still massively dominated by BTC though, and in the past it has been BTC that has moved first when a bull market arrives.
We just need to wait and see, but BTC and ETH are the two to watch I think.

Bakkt raises 182 million dollars of their first funding round and this is good news. Also we are waiting for a decision on Bitcoin ETF which will be until the end of February. I look positively at the crypto market in 2019.

Speculating more about the bull is not a good thing but you have to think bear market as an opportunity for the new investment in crypto that are in very low price and good coin. Invest like VET, Dogecoin, ETH, CAPP, STQ etc.

The catastrophic drop of this bear market is likely coming to a close, but a slow bleed out or sideways action through Q1 or later is pretty probably as sentiment has to slowly shift until we see real Bull action again.

ETH is very close to confirming a new bullish cycle but it hasn't yet. Same with a lot of other alts like LTC, TRX. It seems likely that the market will continue up for a bit. It may just be the slow rise we need to confirm that the bottom is in. However, this would also be a perfect time for bears to trap bulls, as ETH in particular is butting right up against major resistance in a rising wedge.

This is the job of the institutions that are putting their time to study the crypto market. As long as there's money flowing in and out to the market, they will be interested to it. As long as there's a way to profit with this market, adoption is imminent.

This rise does have some signs of turning into the next bull run but no way to be sure until market shows its hand and prices rise lot more.

I see your market calculations moving very fast. bulls and bears won't come with that fast. the market does have the possibility of moving quickly, but I will not be sure it happened. to recover the market takes a long time. we must remain vigilant.

Bitcoin just tries to get its stability at this moment and don't talk about the dump if that can eventually happened. So far i have nothing to do with crypto anymore rather than try to put more and more to bet on altcoin. Market will recover but it needs sustainable development.

In the present circumstances, a bull market means a return past some previously established support level. I think the line around $200b (whole market) that held for a couple of months late last year is key. If we can return and hold above this line then we are set up for the next bull.
Bear in mind this is almost 100% above current prices - which means for me at least, even price rises of 50% don't signify a bull market yet.

After two strong growth quarters of crypto, there were many bad ICO projects formed and it took advantage of market capitalization to develop. I guess we saw 7-8 times bull-trap since beginning of the 2018, but I have hope from this year, bitcoin dumps finished and it is rising slowly. I hope it can pass 5-6k dollar and then we can see little bull season.

I really don't think that we are near the bull market yet (you never know though) but we are just stabilizing a bit higher marketcap level than before.  This also means that coins and tokens are growing their value a bit.
