Hello all,

Probably you've heard the same question every day, but I'm a bit confused...
I've got some money to invest, I'm following some coins from months but the prices doesn't change.
What I mean by ,,the prices doesn't change,, let's give ETH as example in the last 2 months the price was between 92£ and 129£ and I don't know if is a good idea investing... Please change my mind and give me some options and opinions please.

If you want to invest for long term then Eth is absolutely the best holding but if you are in for short term then i will recommend to search about new alts and tokens investing in new projects can be risky but at the same time profit potential is much higher.

I don't know what "doesn't change" means to you but Ethereum saw a 40% surge in its price in the last two months. Don't you see that if you had bought 10 ETH at £92, you would have made +£300 in profits today?

Of course, the ETH is the most likely and reasonable. You can compare the two ETH prices for 2018 and 2019 when ETH is very low and many investors are skeptical about ETH. So ETH is the coin that we should be bought now.

It is almost certain we are hitting a bullish run now,which would mean most coins (even the shit coins ) would gain value.I would suggest you focus on the coins with median marketcap. They have better room to do multiple times their original value

If I were you, I would prefer investing in Bitcoin since it's already starting to move. But considering this current hike, a long term investment on Bitcoin is the best strategy to begin with.

If you want to investor in coins, it is good that you invest in top ranked coins so that  whatever happens, your coins will be safe and you won't have to be bordering over little price change.

about ethereum, i have no doubt to invest in this altcoins for long term

For longterm, you should do your own search to buy and hold some top coins. You can take profit when target reaches. For me, I chose btc, eth.

I have been suggesting to seek alternative ways. Alternative ways mean try to choose some new coins instead of old ones. There are a lot of new coins introducing to the market with much potentiality. My point is picking new ones means if you invest in new coins they may make you riches in a shorter time by giving you more profit. I smell that you're afraid to invest nor you're having your doubts, thinking if you bought last month you technically have some profit but since you're waiting for your good entry you perhaps missed the chances. The market is on green actually and investing on Ethereum is not bad too, i saw bitcoin cash increased so high though, maybe you can think about it, move your money from ethereum to bitcoin cash. Last 2 months compared with today is really different on ethereum price. If you invest your money on eth before April, i think you get a huge profit from it.

if you are following an unknown coins then you wont be able to have a good profit even you hold it for a couple of months, i suggest you better look for well established coin like btc in the market, if you see the price it become better and better for the past three months so it is worth investing in.

Well i don't know exactly how much you want to invest in but ETH  is good cryptocurrency which you can invest in with 80% hope that the price would rise in the future. In addition, you can also invest into cryptocurrencies that are really doing very well such as BNB and XRP.

With your example, your investment would have grown already by a good length. Eth is already trading at 180 and would likely be breaking the 200usd barrier soon. But it depends on you bro. If you're already in profit then it's not a bad idea to sell. Try other coins that aren't as big as btc or eth. I bought quite a number of btt just this morning at 15 sats.

yes maybe it hasn't changed but at least it's safer than the fall. a lot of coins that can't survive in a room are even difficult to maintain their trading volume. if you want to invest in ethereum, I don't think two months is enough. I personally need more than 8 months to benefit from ethereum.

Emotions were a big problem, when I saw the price of 92£ I said is a perfect time to invest and in few seconds I have changed my mind by saying ,,no this price will go down for sure,, and from that day the price is going up and now I have emotions again to invest saying ,,if the price will go down and more down,, but I know somewhere in my mind that ETH will go up and up and yes I don't wanna invest and keep the coin for short term if I will do I wanna keep it for more than a year that's why I wanna invest some money (at the moment I would like to buy 10-20 ETH)

If the goal of your investment is for long term, invest in new altcoins projects rather than Ethereum. Though such investment is super risky but the risk can be reduce if you diligently do your home before deciding on which of them to invest in.

Take a look at Binance coin(BNB). I've been following this coin for about a year now and since then the prices keeps going up even when the market is red and the prices are going down. That's because it is owned by an exchange that keeps expanding and gets new customers every day meaning their coin will also attract new customers.

So is the ETH, the current ETH is very good and the outlook and investment in ETH is wise and the most profitable level you can because of the level of stability will less devalue when the market gets a bump.

I think volume and distance from all time high are the epitome of what you should look for in a small coin when you invest. I still believe that bitcoin/ethereum combo is enough for me and I will probably not buy anything else for a while but if you want to go into altcoins and want to buy something that has a higher risk and reward situation than I would suggest looking for coins that have volume but also far away from their all time high.

If a coin is far away from their all time high that means the coin could potentially go back to it since it already did once and shows how doable that ath price is plus on top of that if it has volume it means the coin is not dead yet and people still trade it which means it is still alive and active, if you find coins like that than you can invest into them.

I know what you mean when you are calculating the rise in another words ROI with the monetary value but in investment we should be using percentage and not the monetary value everyone invest in different amount so if you are calculating in monetary value the gains might seem to be very small to you.
