IEOs are now trending. Majority are abandoning ICOs for IEO project. is really worth it, are you also going to abandon ICO for IEO?

Now the scenario, every exchange follows the trend and they are now doing their own IEOs. Majority might abandon ICOs but exactly the same fate IEOs have in the future.

The truth is that ICO is an archaic fund raising method now. IEO is the new trend and everyone is making use of it . I will rather invest in IEO than ICO because IEO sale is very fast these days and it doesn't take ages to be completed.

Definetely yes, but i will always choose to invest on IEOs on Binance exchange for first time, and if will be possible also on another exchanges if they will have successfull IEOs and people will share their good experience on.

nobody is abandoning ICO for something else like IEO. they are simply abandoning ICOs, end of story. and the reason is because they scammed so many people that they started catching on and stopped trusting them.

the only thing about IEOs is that they are new form of scamming people through exchanges which people have not yet caught up on so they are still trusting them. that will be resolved in a short time too.

For now Im stopped investing in ICO but not means that Im abandoning ICO. Because I believe in the future more legit ICO will come and if that happen Im going back to the ICO but not today or this coming next months. IEO is more good for me and for this now I mist prepare to invest to IEO compared to the ICO. But because IEO is new there is still more people who did not choose it because they still believe on ICO what ever you choose as long as the project is good I don't see any problem with this.

Yes, like many, I would prefer IEO. The fact is that I have been avoiding ICO for over a year. And I do not regret. For many months, I don’t know assets that, at least temporarily, were not sold below ICO prices.

IEO lives on people's hype and belief. When people no longer believe that IEO will bring them 5x or 7x profit, it dies. Ocean Network is the latest failure. It was sold on Bittrex - a decent exchange but still failed. I have a feeling that IEO will soon fade away.

Not all IEOs are good. Most time it depends on exchange. No one wants to invest in IEO, which is in scam exchange. Also, if the investment in IEOs turns to ICO, the same result is obtained.

From my point of view, IEOs are far better than ICOs. There are many things. First, with IEO, investors are sure about the exchange the coin is listing because this is the first step to start the IEO. With ICOs, even though it's completed, most of the projects lists coin after a certain period, which few investors are not happy with.

Yes of course, IEO is now trending and it won't be sensible that we leave what is trending and follow what is already on ground when we know that the Crypto market is a moving market and it's always evolving all of the time, new things coming up daily and once you miss out of it, it could turn out to regret. for now I choose not to invest both. I know the IEO is hype and on average those who invest get a profit. but I'm not interested, because almost all IEO projects go up not because of project development. it's all because of the speculation that exists, the coin listings on the exchange are large and after that I'm sure it's hard to keep a dump. so I better invest in old coins like bitcoin, ethereum, or litecoin.

IEO is similar to ICO not all of them are worth it to invest and not all of them are legit most of them would turn to be a scam or be worthless crypto in the market.

The major reason why IEO is a preference over ICO is because it is less prone to scam. I would never invest to an ICO project or IEO or STO or ABC!!! I've had enough problems with ICO's and those problems were killing me.. Because i had lost lots of money, lots of enegry and aşso i broke my heart and soul. There was EZ Token ICO two years ago and i did invest $4.000 and after the ICO time finishes in two hours my $4k became $22k. I went to bed and in the morning when i open my account i saw that someone sold my coins and withdrawed, no one helped me, i think the scammer was from the ICO team but i lost 22k with my tears. That affect my all life, i had to sell my car.. Than i did invest one more time to another ICO and it never paid and just gone away. Those were unpleasant memories but i don't trust anyone anymore in here.

Well, you know that investors at this year are not that clever but some of them does. ICO's today if you don't have the proper research it will just turn to be a scam. But in IEO's it is on the exchanger already and you have the assurance that it is legit. The only thing that you should do is choose a legit trading platform.

So true. Even though IEO's provide you more security with your investment, it's still good to review the project. Not all projects that will go through IEO are already considered successful nor legit. But the most important part here is doing your own research, checking everything that you could before you pour in your money.

That is nice to know you have invested in IEO. It is way to profitable to invest in IEO than to do so in ICO because of so many reasons prominent among which is the least risk an investor has to face and the raised prospects of profitability. ICO is now an old system,  IEO is the new thing And it hasthe potential of becoming more secured and reliable, but that doesn’t mean you should jump into whatever you see,  you should also have something’s in mind just like you would do when you’re investing in an Ico. I still do ICO, but I do my research properly before investing my money in any Ico. Surely I will because investing in IEO is more profitable for now than in ICO. We can see the advantage of IEO compare with ICO. One of the advantages is, you can be sure that the token will be listed in the exchange.

I think people are focusing on the wrong thing, what does it matter if a coin is coming up via IEO or ICO or STO, they are all the same and just tools for the coin to come to life.

The important part is to actually have a decent coin which is the hard thing, if you manage to find a coin that has a great team, that has a great blockchain, a great road map and many other important great things including a big community behind supporting it and considered to be the next big thing, would you care if its IEO or ICO ?

I personally wouldn't give a damn about the offering and only focus on getting as much as that coin. That is why the difference between IEO and ICO is minimal, it only affects the first few days where normally ICO wouldn't be listed on a great exchange whereas IEO would make you get listed right away but if a coin is great then it will get listed on big exchanges anyway.

For the trend, I think the trend already ended with Binance as their IEO platform are not getting their project sold out that fast again as it was when IEO first started from Binance, the hype has died down and people are face with the reality of researching the project before investing.

I do like IEO but that doesn't mean that there isn't people that doesn't like ICO. If I do see an ICO that seems very good and after some thorough digging and it looks like it is going to perform very well, then I'm definitely going for it immediately. Same as IEO, some of them are also not worth.

IEO seems like they are safe, but the truth is that not all of them are, I have seen someone that complained about an IEO that he participated in, surprisingly this IEO was even backed by Binance as the exchange for it. So if am participating in any IEO, I will sell with little profit  and move on so I won’t turn to a holder. I still use the both ways to choose some project that I think interesting. Indeed, IEO give me a little confidence to make at least my money safe because there is an exchange who can able to replace it if the project exactly scam. The majority most of the investors and base on the survey for sure more investors will prepare to invest to the IEO because as ICO investor since last few years I lost too much money. I would also like to invest into IEOs other than a project running ICO. Most ICOs even fail to list on exchanges after receiving funds from investors. Most IEOs that i have read about have seen a very huge success in their token sale and also are doing very great on the crypto market.

Yeah of course, ieo seems to be better than icos. This is because there is a guarantee that the token or coins will get listed on that exchange after the ieo is concluded. I cannot say anything about IEO, STO or ICO as the development of STO and IEO is latest. It will be too early to talk positive or negative about the latest edition in the market. I think STO and IEO are definitely good relatively than ICO. It is appearing that project owners and investors like and prefer IEO and STO over ICO as it is reported that fake projects are scamming investors and bounty hunters in the name of ICO. As of now i am still not familliar on how ieo's work . what i only know is that ieo's are backed by exchangers . thats a plus point for ieo's because you can only base your chosices on which exchangers are legit or popular however i dont know if ieo's do also have an early bird bonus for investors just like what ico's have bur what i dont like on ico's is that its hard to chose because there are now lots of ico's that are promising  .

IEO and ICO are always compared in each topic. Actually I am easily the best between the IEO or ICO. If you see a project that has future potential, of course you have to invest there. It could be an IEO or ICO project. So as long as you get profits, of course you have to invest there.

IEO many talked right now because offering quick profits when start listed in exchangers. About ICO, i think a lot good ICOs and good for long term, but right now is IEOs season and its better choose from big exchangers like binance or huobi

If possible, of course I will invest in both. I don't think about investing in the IEO or ICO. What I see is how much the project will develop in the future. Well, i don't really abandon ICO projects. Rather than abandon, i still keep my eye on some ICOs that running currently.

Before there was anything like IEO there was already ICOs, and investors has been making money by investing in ICOs back then and it's still the same till today, though there are ICOs that are owned by scammers. So what I'm trying to say is that I don't really care which one I'm investing, even IEO might not be safe as a lot of people are hyping them, there might be some of them that are scammers. At a time I was a ICO investor. Not a big one ,but 2-5% of my portfolio. But of course, investing only in trusted exchanges always recommended. Trusted exchange has more volume so you can trade the IEO coin with much liquidity later.

Of course I would go for it and there are reasons behind why would I do that. Actually, there is no improvement in security for IEO compared to ICO. The project can still be a scam or a fail and you'll lose the same money how you invested in an ICO. It's a wrong assumption that IEO are safer and people will notice this mistake if it's too late. They will all say 'IEO is so bad I lost all my ETH'.
An IEO doesn't guarantee that the project will be succesful. If people think and IEO is a guarantee for success that will lead to bad disappointments.

If it's that easy then there'll be no thing called IEO for sure, the sole reason of IEO existence is the fact that ICOs nowadays are full of unreliable project or in the other words full of money grabbing greedy developers, though there's plenty of legit project but with the existence of IEO, that legit project will try to apply for IEO to popular exchanges, the fact that many IEO are popular or even oversold is because people are tired of random ICO, they want legit things.

In comparison with ICOs , IEO projects look more reliable and trusted. However, staying a trader, I would better go on investing in the cryptocurrencies: this scheme works much better for me, and it can bring more profits.

I think you need to cross out that notion that many people are abandoning ICO for IEO. If you take a critical look t what is happening in the crypto space, you would notice that not everyone has the opportunity to take part in IEO, particularly when trading has not commenced, which is mainly applicable to reputable exchanges. Very soon, IEO might loose its place. As far as i am concerned, ICO still has more longevity.

There is no need to decline the opportunity from ICO if that is really worthy for investment, knowing the fact that not all of them are a scam, shit project or anything we think negative for them. Why not giving them a chance and not to look at them in general.
We still don't know if IEO will prove that they are different from ICO, it is not long enough that they are started and we can't blame that some of us will still put doubts on them. It may be they will appreciate it once proven good and profitable.

well IEO is basically a more legitimate crowdfunding method than ICO so I guess IEO without proving is already better than ICO in term of legitimacy and that's why most of IEO that are hosted on popular exchanges selling like a hot cakes.

If you go through the market guides, you would find out that many projects that are successful these days are launched in IEOs and this is purely the reason why I prefer IEOs. It has been very instrumental in maximizing the returns for investors as compared to what had been the case in case of ICOs. So yes, you should be part of such projects for good gains.

Such investments are attractive because top exchanges can act as guarantors,  their experience provides traders with investment security. I, therefore, believe IEO solution is preferable.  

If the project is from a significant team then the chances of investing are really slim as it will get over in a matter of seconds, but i have not seen many projects that sold out in seconds, Brave is one project that comes to mind that ended in seconds but not sure about the rest, i would not rather invest in any projects for a long term as i understand the risk involved.

Yes I would and my reason is this; IEO being backed by an exchange will offer more security of funds, this is owing to the fact the team are thoroughly checked to ascertain their authencity. With this there will limit or no exit scam. But that doesn't mean I would study a project before investing.

Two things make IEOs different than ICOs for now.
First, the raised amount of money is much less. This gives more posibilities for 10x and 20x growths.
The tokens for sale are much less than ICOs. IEO offer 3-20% of the tokens. This is leaving huge supply to be distributed after the IEO, which may dilute the supply and drop the price.

You touch a good point, only successful IEOs made a good return on the listed exchanges. It doesn't have the same value on other exchanges if the team made a rebranding. ICOs are not sufficient for covering the profits that easily given by IEOs in the distinguished exchanges.

That's called hype, if IEO always success or atleast have success rate above 80% everyone would be rich, it's just a really good project will rarely appear instead of the ordinary ones and when that happens people will get hyped up again. ICO is almost a dead direction. Of course, you can still find projects that carry it out and in which it makes sense to invest, but in General it is not so important. Now IEO is more popular and I think that you can safely invest in projects that carry it out.

As per review online and here in the forum, most of the people who mentioned about IEO was having positive feedback. It made me wonder for possible investments towards IEO, because it's new and yet the platform isn't prone on scam because the sale isn't private. There are visible projects that they prefer to ico rather than ico because the price is stable and it does not rise even more rounds so the difference between io and ico is better for me.

I think you will use the results of the campaigns that you follow by selling directly and using them for other purposes. nothing much can be produced from the bounty now. but I think it still gives us money.

I think that the IEO has several advantages.
1. If the exchange conducts an IEO at its base, then it has conducted a study of the project. This means that the project is relatively safe.
2. If the exchange is conducting an IEO, then the trade in tokens of the project will be carried out as soon as possible. It means that investors will be able to trade tokens immediately, and not through for example 3, 5 or 12 months, as we often could see after ICO.
3. For the exchange is beneficial to maintain the interest of buyers to the tokens sold at IEO, so the exchange (and the project itself) in future will contribute to active trading on the coin.

Because of the scam ICOs who had fooled many investors. ICO is becoming obsolete. In fact, there are ICOs that goes in IEO even they have done their Public Sale. I will buy in IEO since it has already a assurance that I can make profits. IEOs are already listed in an exchange, we just need to buy tokens and wait for the pump.

I agree too, big exchanger has also a good reputation compared.to the some exchangers out there, binance is a good.example of it. first of all ico didnt fool you  . thats your fault on why you are get scammed because you may not doing your own research  . secondly , not all ico are scams and ico's are not becoming obsolete  .

I think IEO is better than ICO. I know some ico won't scam you, but most of them has abandoned their project after get listed on market. Or even they disappeared before their token listed on exchanger. IEO is better, almost the whole of IEO project will get listed in exchanger that did the public sale of their token.

But the scammers and poor projects didn't reach the exchange part and investors lost their money. Good suggestion, coins in the exchange has more value than ICO coins, the problem with ICO coins is even if they reach the desired amount, the challenge is to list in a trading exchange that has a decent volume and even if they pass that challenge, still no assurance it will rise.
