Altcoins today are struggling , yes no doubt about that but if much attentions are giving to some altcoins with lots of potentials, i think it will make altcoins standout in the market. although some altcoins lacks vision and there are several coins i believe will defintely change the market positively.

Altcoins were falling sue to the price fall of bitcoin so you no need to worry about the potential coins or shit coins it will be back in track when the price of bitcoin reverse to be bullish.Some predictions says $14000 in two months so need to take a break from trading if you don't want to take the risks.

I completely disagree with you. My opinion is that in the coming days a new season of altcoins will begin, and Bitcoin will drop to the area of $​​7000 - 8000 in the coming weeks. Altcoins will not green very quickly as for now since bitcoin volatility is high. If bitcoin dumped more and saty for few days then Altcoins would start recover. Yes. Don't know what the reason for such fall. But I still believe crypto and all will go up again. 2020 is approaching. So new ATH should come.

Overall market volume is decreasing from last few days which is effecting the prices of most of the coins negatively this may be due to people cashing out due to holiday week in most of the world as people celebrate Eid so im hopeful that next week volume will be back as holidays will end this week.

The only reason why altcoin is dying or at least still tanking up to this day is because most investors are allocating more funds into Bitcoin. As you can see, Bitcoin dominance is also at it's all time high as well, a clear sign that most money are in that market.

But assuming that we can see altcoin having its bull run, it could happen anytime but I'm not expecting it to happen this year though. We haven't heard any positive news around the altcoin market that will sway around investors and change their position. So let's wait for 2020 and see if altcoin can somehow revived itself and bring back the confidence of investors.

All of altcoins now in a loss, only ICON and VestChain from top 100 didn´t fall because they announced good news. But is there a trend that everything will go up until good news come?  :'(

Seeing these Altcoins snoring around and some dead coins or tokens are much in the Altcoins market without any traction from potential investors around the world.if cryptocurrency. The Altcoins season will come but the time and period yet to be know.as the whole market has taken a new turn as Bitcoin take the dorminance.

Now for them it is better just to observe as altcoins do not show a good upward trend , I think better is to watch them , and not to white in them , as it is not known when they will reverse and begin to rise.

Altcoins are falling because of bitcoin. Bitcoin is about to get out of $10k and potentially will come under it. The market sure is disappointing to look at these days but that's the proper time to get some more.

On a positive note, many of altcoins are really performing very well. As a result, they have been able to get support from the crypto community.
To name a few, Ethereum, EOS, everex, IOTA, Stellar, ripple are amazing and they are having support from traders. So we must support those altcoins that are really worthy of doing well.

Some selective altcoins are still doing great even in these bear market period of altcoins and those selective few are those with actual working product e.g Binance chain token (BNB). The way I see the market heading we will no longer have a period were altcoins in general will benefit from the success of others like it did in 2017 where investors invested just because previous similar token have given them gains, instead every coin will be held responsible for their own success.

The altcoins season this period would be different and it'll come unexpectedly. The market needs altcoins as bitcoin alone can't take the marketcap to previous all time high or even higher volume so you don't have to give up hopes on altcoins yet. Just do your research and invest wisely.

The market is generally dwindling and altcoin is more likely to be affected. I sincerely don't know what could have necessitated this extent of decline in the coin market capitalisation, but I believe that the market would be bullish again.

Some Altcoins had a massive rally the last bull market, given the constant correction that's been going on in the altcoin market, some projects yet stands out and still will given the time is different. I still believe that alts season will pull these projects out from their current state to their real price at the appointed time.

Altcoin this time has not yet got their supposedly Bullrun with Bitcoin. Bitcoin continues to withdraw money from altcoins. looking at the graphs from the beginning of winter. you can clearly see that almost all the altcoins have fallen 3-5 times in relation to bitcoin

The bad image of altcoins will always be there especially if there prices are very low compare to bitcoin or because of the market situation.

Even if altcoins are struggling right now it doesn't mean that they cannot bounce back because if you are a follower of market for how many years then you can surely believe that not all the time altcoins will remain in the bottom or struggling.

Sell your altcoins for BTC while BTC is low hence a profit when btc goes up again. Altcoin season will try to be this way for more years, 3-5 years possibly. Its going to be testing your patience. The only reason I try to join the bounty campaigns for altcoin is because I'm just going to hold these coins for more than 3 years as well. There are indeed good altcoins out there which are underrated but market conditions do dragged it out plus the tainted reputation of alts when it comes to scam and frauds.For now only the best ones would be included on the ranking and with the current BTC market dominance its hard to push up alts on positive side.

I still think altcoins are about to break up a big increase soon, I have been saying this for far too long and I know that it doesn't look like it will happen and many times when we said its up to increase soon and it dropped instead but how long do you really think altcoins can go low, it must be at some point an increase that would make it go at least 50% high for most of them.

Yes, many alts went down like Ethereum which goes again below $200. I thought that it's the support but there's more to go and a plus that everything is still possible to happen. Don't conclude that this year isn't a good time for investing.

Your optimistic approach will help you to believe that the chance of seeing Alts to rise will be there, those  dying alts are useless projects that don't have any usage or just a copy of another good projects that sooner will be gone for good, but those projects that have a good intentions and have a usable plans for the entire industry will stay and will bring good bounce after the market start to shine green again.

For me, it all depends on two factors. The first one is how promising the project is, how the current development is going, how the current business works. If all is well, for me it is a signal that in the future, with growth, the project will most likely have additional influences, because it really works, and such projects always grow better than others.
The second factor is speculation. Coins with potential in the market. They are not so easy to track, because you need to notice in time when large players are gaining a large volume.

There should be something more than just another big announcement to push the market. Every good news should be supported by a really high trading volume which is not happening for any reason. Thats why altcoin and the whole crypto world is still struggling.

Currently Altcoins are suffering, very bearish only but a few are struggling to rise up, ethereum is one of such projects that is rising, this is because of more acceptability and more demand. Unlike other altcoin without use case. I still think this is the best time to hold some Altcoin.

If you mean that the altcoins are struggling with price, I would say kinda yes since it still follows the same train of Bitcoin's growth. But looking at the market now, you can see that BTC is stagnant while ETH, XRP, and other altcoins are rising up with more than 5% growth. I do not have the same opinion as you because I realise that the growth rate of Altcoins is always stable. There may be lots of Altcoins that have become trash, but there are many Altcoins that become gold. With the development team having the potential to bring Altcoin growing, but there are many development teams with the wrong choices that have led to the project's bankruptcy.

You are right.  altcoin which has a strong market appeal, like a sleeping giant.  these trends and patterns can be analyzed, don't quickly draw the conclusion that the altcoin era is over because there hasn't been a move, just wait and see. the signs began to appear.  btc dominance began to fall and some altcoins started to rise significantly.

i think alts is over due to at least move up a bit but the current situation of market wouldnt let it go up and why many arr struggling  to move little which i think we need now and bit of dump to btc too , which is way btter for we to jve some kind of relief  in bear for a moment.

Investment in new coins is worth risking because the chances of the price hike in a new coin will be higher so will be the profit and most of the investors are looking for such opportunities for short term investment options. In as much as there are some altcoins with great prospect, majority of the altcoins lack future prospect and will be forgotten with time. Some altcoins have been delisted on exchanges due to no trading activity, when the team abandons the project hence investors become skeptical since there are no updates for long. It's a good thing that some altcoins of nowadays have valid real world use cases although none has been adopted mainstream yet. Let's be optimistic anyway and hope adoption will gradually come in future.

The market dump, bitcoin dropped below $9k and that affects the price of altcoins really hard.

At this kind of BTC movement, it's impossible altcoins will recover as when BTC is moving sideways, altcoins won't grow, if btc pump, altcoins will also dump as people put their money on btc, now, it's sad that altcoins is not anymore a good option when BTC dump, unlike before we will see altcoins grow when BTC dump and the dominant rate of BTC is not so high.

I didn't go online for 2 hours, the market went down badly until BTC went down to 8k. I really didn't know this would happen this badly, I had a pretty big loss because I was late selling when it didn't go down badly.

That tells how unpredictable this market is, what we can do now is just to hope that the bleeding will not continue so we will have a good start in the last quarter of the year. The market hasn't been encouraging recently. Prices have dropped drastically and are red at the moment. Most investors are also withdrawing from the business due to this. Overall, the market has been unstable and has been unfriendly to coins, altcoins inclusive. I think that despite the changes in the market,,a nd the instability, altcoins are still reaching for the sky, and with a more friendly and stable market, they will skyrocket. Agree about whales. So many people try to find reasons for things in crypto ... Bakkt, or real world use, or some announcement, or some new coin feature ... but in the end it all comes down to speculation and how whales move the markets.

Does anyone think BTC's rise to 13.8Kish this year was normal organic growth? Same applies to random drops for seemingly no reason. And of course that applies to alts too, probably even more so.

So yeah, alts can recover, who knows. It comes down to where whales feel they can make money. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see alts recover somewhat for the next couple of months, where whales make some extra btc before btc's presumed rise in early 2020 pre-halvening.
