Can you lower the amount of bet for slot ? 2.5 mBTC per bet seems to be a little too high .

At Bitstarz.com you can play in mBTC or uBTC. So the min. bet on slot is actually 2.5 uBTC = 0,0025 mBTC .

To change it once you are in the game check in the upper corner for drop down where it says "Playing with mBTC" and select option from drop down "Play with uBTC".

It looks like they pulled credit card depositing from their site. That was quick.

They were doing it through a mining firm that sold their BTC for Paypal, I guess they found out BitStars was using them for gambling deposits.

While working on new innovations in bitcoin gambling industry and making it easier for people to jump on bitcoin wagon we and our cloud mining partner have learned that Paypal is definitely not the best payment method for selling digital goods. In fact probably the worst. It turned out there is a huge amount of people out there having stolen paypal accounts and therefore the high amount of chargebacks is inevitable. That is also the main and only reason why we had to pull out the paypal as a payment option.

We are right now working on some alternative solutions and it is going to take a few weeks more so we ask for some patience. In the mean time our bitcoin cashier is working normally.

I think that bitstars doesnt care their depositors ( even he's in a sig. campaign). i've lost over 1btc 2 days ago however they only gave me 50mbtc bonus. thats like %5. many online casinos even land based ones give higher % bonuses to their regular customers. it's really bad to see that... also i've asked that could i get my 0.1 btc from sig campaign (i've done my 50 posts) however they didnt even reply me.

With a name like bitstars I would have expected them to provide some sort of poker service (for obvious reasons). Bitstarts gave everyone who joined their sig campaign some free chips to play with. I decided to play live roulette which actually ended up doing quite well for a bit. Built up to 30+ chips before going bust. Oh well it was free money after all.

I do wish they could get a different live feed provider though. Every live casino via bitcoin except 5dimes has the same one.

Just an FYI to anyone who is considering playing at BitStarz.com -- They are a huge scam and follow extremely unethical business practices. See below to learn how they screwed me over..

So, I deposited a pretty small amount of bitcoins (roughly 0.5btc or ~$200 USD) and I ended up crushing (up about 20 bitcoins when I was cashing out). I played fairly, and did not do anything that was against their terms and conditions.. I hit quads at Let it Ride within like 20 minutes (which was about 6 bitcoins or so). After that I played roulette and a few other table games plus some slots.

I eventually got to a point where I was up to 20 bitcoins, and decided to cash out. I started with a test of 1 bitcoin and sent it to my wallet just to make sure it went through smoothly. Shortly after this, my account was disabled, the withdrawal was "discarded" and a live chat popped up from a person named "Mike." At this point, things started to go downhill, and I assumed they were going to try to swindle me out of the money I won... I was right.

In live chat "Mike" said that I had violated their terms and conditions, and my winnings were "confiscated." I asked him why this happened, since I read the t&c before playing. He said it was clearly outlined that you cannot bet more than 25 mbtc when utilizing their bonus. This was definitely not clearly outlined in any way, as I looked over the terms and conditions pretty carefully before playing. Also, I did not even select to receive a bonus, it is apparently applied to your deposits automatically. If i knew you could only bet 25mbtc when utilizing the bonus, I would not have accepted the bonus.

So anyway, I asked Mike where it said there is a max bet and why it let me bet more than 25 mbtc if it was not allowed (since I obviously did not see it or I would not have bet over 25 mbtc)... He then said it was in their "bonus terms and conditions" which I had no idea even existed before playing. This is absurd, and is obviously just a cheap ploy for them to not have to pay people who actually win at their bitcoin casino. This information is buried deep on their website and very hard to find.

In case you don't understand how messed up this is... it's essentially the equivalent of going to a casino, in say Las Vegas, and sitting down at a table where the max bet is $25. You then somehow manage to bet $100 per hand for over 3 hours and win a good bit of money without the pitboss saying a word. You color up your chips and go to the cage, excited to cash out your winnings. When you get to the cage, they say sorry, we aren't giving you the money you won - you violated the terms and conditions that were written in tiny letters on a plaque when you walked into the casino. If I lost my bitcoins, I'm sure they wouldn't have credited me back because I "violated" their terms and conditions. What a scam..

Even if you read my review, and are aware of these extremely absurd bonus rules, it just goes to show you what kind of people they are. I would not trust them with any amount of money (or bitcoins), and would definitely not trust any of their associated online casinos. You should avoid BitStarz at all costs. When all was said and done BitStarz swindled me out of over $8,0000 USD (or 20 bitcoins). If you are going to gamble online, I would highly recommend that you find one that follows more ethical practices than BitStarz.

I hope that if you are on this page researching BitStarz, you find my review so you do not encounter any of the issues I came across. I would also recommend avoiding any of their associated online casinos. On their website it says that they are operated by Softswiss N.V. fwiw.

Hi, I understand you must be upset but you must be new to online casinos? You said you definitely noticed you received a bonus. At that point you should have read the terms and conditions as most online casinos have various terms on their SUB bonuses. I do agree that it sucks they add it automatically but they do have an option to disable the bonus in the bonus page. Anyways you can't just assume by taking a bonus that there are no restrictions thats why its important to read the terms and conditions. Many casinos have a max bet term when using bonus. I'm an experienced online casino player so anytime I think about taking a bonus on a new site I have a thorough read of the T&C and then decide if I'm still going to take their sign up bonus. A 25mbtc max bet term really isn't that bad for slots as its about $10 a spin. For table game players it isn't worth it using a bonus in that case. Anyhow you knowingly saw the bonus funds added and continued to play without asking questions or having it removed before your play. Hopefully Bitstarz refunds your deposit as that seems the right thing to do in this situation.

To summarize, player took 100% bonus and didn't read any of the bonus terms and conditions and managed to run up his balance quite a bit and only after requesting a withdrawl was notified that he breached the terms and conditions of using said bonus.

Player thinks its absurd to have a max bet term and that bitstarz is shady for having one but in the online casino industry its pretty standard. Many of the large online casino operators all have a max bet rule on bonuses. For example, Guts casino has a 7.50 euro max bet, and if I searched other large reputable online casinos I would expect to find comparable.

This is a valuable and costly lesson for the player if he so chooses to play any other online casinos and take their Sign Up Bonus that he should read through the terms and conditions very carefully as it relates to bonuses.

First off I would assume that you are either an affiliate of BitStarz, or are somehow associated with them in one way or another. I read their terms and conditions before playing pretty carefully, and was not aware of a "bonus terms and conditions". If there is a bet max, they should enforce this directly on the tables/games, or should clearly state this before playing. Instead it is buried several paragraphs down, in a secondary terms and conditions section. This is a complete scam. It was a 50% bonus fwiw, and I won before that would have even been a factor. I was not taking advantage of them in any way, and deposited a good amount (so I was not, in any way, abusing their bonus). It is in fact extremely shady and not acceptable on their part.

No I am not any kind of affiliate or associated with them in any way. Notice I have no signature here pimping any casino or the likes. I rarely play on bitstarz. Look you chose to accept the bonus funds and willingly started gambling with them without checking terms on the bonus including excluded games, max bet terms etc. That is your fault and its a costly lesson you learned. They did nothing shady. The terms were there if you searched. I suggest going forward if you want to play table games with no limits then try bitcasino when using a bonus or another site that doesn't have limitations. If you go to the promotions tab and click on any of the terms and conditions on the bonuses they offer it brings up the Bonus Terms and Conditions. Anyways good luck in the future and next time you choose to play with bonus funds from a casino triple check the terms or ask the live chat for a direct link to the terms. I don't think this makes Bitcasino a scam and they do technically have the right not to pay this player because he clearly violated the terms.  Next time he will obviously be more careful at whatever casino he plays at.

The max bet rule is incredibly scummy and predatory.  They have claimed it's a term in place to "protect themselves" from abuse - which is total bullshit.  There is absolutely no rational excuse for including a maximum bet other than the revenue it generates when players unknowingly violate it.  I'd love to hear bitcasino try and claim otherwise. (and no, just because other online casinos like "guts casino" do it does not make it ethical) In this case, it generated nearly 20 bitcoin of revenue for them.

Thanks for the support and advice cypto, I actually did read the "terms and conditions" very thoroughly. As per the "bonus terms and conditions" I was not even aware of this, or the 25 mbtc max bet (obviously, or I would have followed them accordingly).. In all fairness it is not made clear enough. This scummy part of the bonus terms is located roughly 75% of the way down the page, buried in section 12 of part 3... so it is certainly not "clearly outlined". A few people, including BitStarz, have said that this is "common" but I do not see such parameters listed on other more reputable casinos such as Bovada for example. It is, in my opinion, a complete scam that they use for the sole purpose of confiscating the winnings of anyone who legitimately wins. I'm sure there are tons of other people this has happened to besides myself. There is no other justifiable reason for them to use such tactics, other than to scam people out of winning at their casino. My initial deposit was 0.58 bitcoin (or over 300 euros). Received 100% bonus with 40x wagering requirement as promised. Got lucky, won a few bigger bets on slots. My balance grew up to 9 bitcoin at one point. I was so happy, wanted to cash out it as quickly as possible, therefore I raised my bets up to the max. All the time while betting I was monitoring my balance and wagering indicator in %. Everything went smooth, and within few hours I managed to reach 40x requirement with over 6 bitcoin in my balance. Decided to cash out and went to bed. Just to wake and read an email from Bitstarz that I breached their terms and conditions of betting more than 0.025 bitcoin per roll, therefore all my winnings has to be forfeited. There's so many ways they could make it right, but they simply refuse to do so. They could make their platform so that it wouldn't be possible to make incorrect bets. They could make so that bets over the limit wouldn't count towards wagering requirement. Even after the fact, they could discard just the offending bets, but leave the other. But instead what they do they just steal your rightfully earned money. I feel like someone had stolen money from me.

Now in my online history have I rarely bet close to that although once on one of those Booming Game slots @ bitcasino I had just loaded a deposit and used a bonus and inadvertently max bet 96mbtc. Luckily it was a small winning spin where I got my money back but if they had restrictive terms I would have been toast right off the bat. 

With that said its not all that uncommon for some of the big online casinos to have these types of max bet terms in place. Anytime I play somewhere new I make it a point to read their Terms and Conditions. This all comes with experience playing online however.

Just an update on this, it has been several months and BitStarz has not rectified the situation in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER... What may be even more disturbing is the fact that they have not made a single change to their terms & conditions OR the way they operate their "company" - so all these absurd stipulations and bonus rules remain carefully hidden. They are still banking on players not reading them and betting over the 0.025mbtc limit so that if the player wins, they can confiscate the winnings. If the player loses, they don't say anything of course... This is aside from many other unfair ways that they use their terms and conditions against players solely to maximize their profits, no matter how morally wrong it is; they don't seem to care.

Needless to say, they are still using the same scam tactics they have been using since day one. It is extremely frustrating, but I hope that by me sharing my story (and the countless others that were scammed by BitStarz doing the same), it will deter new players from experiencing the frustration that we all went through. Hopefully it costs them much more than the 20BTC they scammed me out of in the long run, so they can see how that feels...

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately I reached out to just about every major review site, including askgamblers. Askgamblers deleted my complaint/account and told me it wasn't valid, as did the others. They basically shunned me and told me to F off... It is primarily because they are part of the BitStarz affiliate program, which there is nothing wrong with. I am a big advocate of affiliate programs, but when a company has had this many valid complaints and they refuse to fix the problem or even offer the players a legitimate solution they should really start to reconsider promoting them.

I believe it probably converts really well for them and they are making a lot of money with it b.c. of the great bonuses and free spins that BitStarz issues. Unfortunately that means nothing when the company is known to scam winning players consistently, knowingly and for a prolonged period of time. If they keep it up, word will spread and they will go bankrupt soon enough (if they aren't already). I just hope they don't con any more players like they did to me. They confiscated what would now be about $12,000 USD so I'm still pretty pissed as you can imagine.

Well, you have to understand that it's quite a rare occurrence. 99.99% of all players in the casino have no problem
what so ever with us and we have no problem with them. But there's a super small minority of players who could
engage in fraudulent behavior of various kinds. Trying to open multiple accounts to get free spins, opening multiple
accounts to take multiple welcome offers, double spenders, etc. These could risk of having winnings confiscated due
to abusing the casino.

The one you might be referring to that's been discussed online lately was a player who normally played in BTC but
decided to use a credit card as well, upon we asked him to provide a copy of this card, which is a normal procedure
which all card users have to do. Could that be the one? Nevertheless the issue was resolved, player paid and is

The player in question accidentally broke some of the fine print on the terms of service by betting too much. He was neither stopped or warned by the software. When he won money from unrelated bets, that were not in excess of any casino limits, his entire account balance was cleared only when he wanted to withdraw.

Those are the facts. If you're cool with that -- then bitstarz sounds like a great casino, and I'd encourage you to play there. Bitcoin or not, the rules of a site applies to both Bitcoin and Fiat. The rules doesn't change depending on what currency you use.

If you're reading the terms and conditions, there are not many that dictates how you can play or not. It's mostly filled
with information which countries are excluded from receiving bonuses, that you can only get one per IP, etc. Very few
of them are rules that states that you should play a certain way.

If you don't believe what AskGamblers is saying, then you can go to CasinoMeister, one of the largest advocates of fair
play. We do not get any traffic from them and I'm sure they'd say the same thing about the max bet clause, if you're worried
about some kind of bias.

Also, please enlighten me how we can make the terms more clear, and where to put them. They're put in many places on the
site, in all bonus emails, on the deposit page, etc. If you have a better place to put them, or any more place, then we'd appreciate

actually would do such a thing. Most players actually try the site out with a smaller amount first. If these new players would
also contact us regarding anything that has to do with a bonus (which many new players do as they do not always know how it works)
we do our best to remind them specifically about the 25 mBTC per bet rule.

Again, applying the rule in practice is quite rare. Sure, there are some examples here online, but then you're forgetting about the massive

I would be careful playing at this site. From the discussion at the reference link, he has I believe unfairly taken the balance of a player for breaking what is a very arbitrary rule on max bet. The funds that were won appear to have been won from a bet that was completely compliant, and max bets should be enforced by the software not as an excuse to confiscate someones entire balance. Quite a rating for a site making excuses to take user balances when they see fit based on rules in fine print. There's no way the site could get 9.2 out of 10 based on what we've seen... I understand that people have different views, but I really have trouble understanding your position. The vast majority of users will never read a sites Terms of Services, and rely on it to be reasonable. Even if they did read it, it's simply not fair or just that someone making a small mistake (that the site accepts!) leads to confiscation of (unrelated) funds.

It seems to be to be very basic empathy. If you, or someone you cared was acting in good faith and was screwed out of thousands of dollars by a technicality, I have trouble believing your reaction would be: "haha, yeah! Should've studied those terms of service and had it reviewed by my lawyers first! They got me good on the fine print"
 

And besides, the whole "Terms of Service" thing is complete misdirection and wouldn't stand up in any court system that I'm aware of. There is a well established legal concept known as unconscionability which would invalidate such a one-sided predatory condition like this.

Sure, and many people have reported their own experience where BitStarz let them slide even though they violated TOS. BitStarz has to make a decision in each case. That is, to let someone slide or to penalize them for violating the rules. They've said themselves (and it looked like others confirmed) that they give people a free pass if they do it once, but when it looks like the user is repeatedly abusing the rules, or they have reason to believe they are setting up alt accounts to get away with the same violation multiple times, THAT is when they don't budge.

It's a business. They can't run a successful business on empathy, and it's not fair to the users who do follow the rules to let others break them without any penalty.

Also, there's nothing unconscionable about their terms of service, from a legal standpoint.
