How the fuck is my deposit of 3482 Dogecoins still pending after 74 confirmations!?
At least it actually showed up in pending. Fuck Cryptsy only reason I went back to this shithole is because Dogecoins were trading higher here than on coins-e.com

On coins-e.com I haven't had a single bad experience yet. All my deposits have been fast and flawless, withdrawals have been INSTANT everytime.

FUCK CRYPTSY once and for all, ill take the small loss trading over at coins-e where my coins aren't constantly in some invisible limbo, or lost, or negative balanced, or taking forever to confirm.

LOL only 74? My Doge had over 225 confirmations and didn't clear earlier. It eventually cleared after a while (I left and came back an hour after the 225 confirmations)

I was one of the first to deposit doge after they added it, but I was one of the last  to receive it after the first wave of dumping (0.0000006). I know people that deposited 45 minutes after me that received their coins first.

You do realize that if the volume picks up at the other 2 places there is a good chance they start having the same problems that crypsty has.

I don't think it has anything to do with volume. It's more like the code Cryptsy uses is totally fucked.
coinedup has been hit hard over the past few days and I haven't had any problems aside from the site 404ing frequently.

Yeah, there's something seriously wrong with their deposit system. The system can see that I've deposited a certain amount of DOGE. It sees there are over two hundred confirmations. Seriously--it isn't the server getting pounded that is preventing my account being credited. All other functions are comparatively responsive.

I've definitely learned my lesson with Cryptsy. The delay cost me a hundred dollars; if I had sent it to coinedup.com instead, I would be fine. Their server is getting hammered and the site is barely crawling, yet I can send DOGE there and sell it in under ten minutes.

I sincerely hope Cryptsy is not doing this on purpose. It has the effect of inflating the price of DOGE, since people can't get it in to sell it. I don't think they are, I think they're good people, but... it's time to overhaul some of their code. Stop offering services they can't provide.

I had a major problem with many confirms and it wasn't showing in my account as available.  I think it took about 7 hours...hang in there.

Well to tell you the truth, I you want to withdraw alot...say several million dollars worth of coin,then get a lawyer and a flight.

It's common for people who're interested in an expensive piece of machinery to fly in and look at the equipment, before spending hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Guys the team is working very hard to get to every deposit issue. Why any one particular coin is taking longer could be numerous reasons. We are working on our end to speed things up and hope to have it all zippy soon. This is probably the most popular release coin we have had with massive numbers of deposits etc. Bare with us your coins will show up.

But on the OP topic I still have deposit, lost coins, from many days ago, all tickets just get closed without being looked into, you guys just run audit and then close tickets, so tickets aren't really being attended to at all.

Only sensible thing to do with sooo many issues across the board was to suspend trading, close cryptsy down and fix all problems! However you guys pretend issues are minor and wtf add even more coins :(

Cryptsy? we need to get use to it...deposit should be at least 24 hours before your coins arrive, while withdrawal needs at least 12 hours after they made their audit system your withdrawal will be processes. while trading expect lags, negative balances because of double spending and missing coins as well. 

I actually made a small profit with the negative balance issue :D

Actually fees apply to the first confirmation only.  Also, it mainly applies to Bitcoin at this time.

Shocked me as well, but i 100% agree.  If they start doing things like this then it will help out alot of angry traders (not all).

Although of the past cryptsy has been a bit silent, and had alot of issues... i think people have failed to notice how much better in comparison it has been.  No it is not perfect, but at least they are making attempts to get this better.  And hopefully the stop in trading is showing a higher commitment to this.

I want to personally thank cryptsy for having my dogecoin deposit not show up for over five hours (and counting) while the price keeps on falling.

I've told them 2 months ago they needed to upgrade their servers. Guess I'm just the little guy. LOL....They need to dump have of the dead coins on their site to free resources up for the more mainstream coins.

In business, don't offer a service/product that you can not maintain. Doesn't matter if the customer service is good. People will buy a good product/service, even if the customer service is bad.

I agree 100%.  Cryptsy just did an 'audit' and withdrew more Cryptsy points than what I had. Haven't don't anything with my Cryptsy points, and now it won't let me withdraw from the site because I have a negative balance! WTF!!!!

I have an idea lets release a 5 new coins each day, knowing cryptsy can't help themselves not adding them to their already unmanageable exchange, until it finally just folds and we don't have to come complain about the place anymore.

What is even better is now after the last messup with the so called points, I had way more, did not not touch them at all, now they got me in the negative for points. So now I have to buy .5 points in order to become positive again.

I bailed on Cryptsy after my first deposit of doge took 9 hours to show pending and another 9 hours to confirm. Then, the withdrawl email took 4 hours to show up, and another 3 hours to send after I confirmed. It's hard to say if someone is actually pulling some strings to screw us, or if their infrastructure simply blows harder than any of us could imagine. Either way, I'm out. With that lawsuit against them, the Fed's are gonna be sniffing Cryptsy hard anyway, so it might just be a good idea to leave them simply based on that.

Something like 90% of the Doge coin out there was cycling through the wallet. Average transactions per block was 80 we had to find a new way to handle this amount of deposit activity. We believe we figured it out.

We tweeted a while ago that points balances would be normal after the maintenance on them. Sorry for the delay.

What coin would you want to remove? You can simply deselect them from trading where you do not even see them. Would you want a coin you have invested in to be removed? Number of coins is not the issue we have been having.

65000+ new users in 25 days approximately. At the current rate there will be 100,000 new users next week. The problem is sheer load we have made major investments in hardware and manpower to address this. These investments are not realized overnight shipping. installation and training are required essentially it takes time. I would start expecting to see the results of these investments in people and hardware in the very near future we have already made tremendous improvements as it stands.

Guys sorry for the delays. If you have a support issue outstanding we will get to you. New staff is able to handle more and more types of tickets which frees the experienced staff up to get to the harder ticket types.

And what about the ticket delays ? When will we get a reply to them ?

all accounts are locked now at cryptsy. Negative balance in cryptsy-points appear. I have a negative balance over more points than i ever owned. And my withdrawals are locked. Every day there is a new surprise with these guys.

for things that affect people greatly. you might want to do a "were sorry, heres an x" campaign at some point. right now its just "were sorry, our everything is always broken, were always working hard to fix it"

a lot less people would be upset and making posts if there were more proactive announcements in the community from cryptsy staff. why wait for someone to make a crypsty points thread when u know its coming? there has been a whole lot of flaming goin on just for this points issue. pop on and make a thread so people a) have somewhere to rage and b) are informed about why and how they should be raging, and for how long. definitely would be less negative posts overall and a place for cryptsy supporters to calm everyone down with positive comments mixed in.

I didn't realise there was a tweet about it, I just figured given the track record that it was another temporary issue that would be resolved soon, filed my 40th support ticket in 2 weeks and went back to making terrible trades.

Batch doing the maintenance on points crashed catching back up now. We changed it so you can withdraw now regardless of that status.

Id be more active on the boards if I wasn't trying to help the team get to as many tickets as fast as possible. Now that more staff can handle tickets you will see more of the senior folks on the boards. More frequently.

There is a problem with trade on COL, there are sells at 11 but there are many buy offers at 12. What gives??

You need expertise (not me, lol) because the software or hardware or both are clearly unfit for purpose. Promises of extra servers have not helped, nor the extra staff Vern claims are employed.

Why is the exchange so weak?  BTC-e is a similar set up, and that usually works just fine.

Answer the question about the COL Bitjohn. I filed a ticket about a buy order I put in at 11 executing at 12. Gave me a negative balance. Was told I was wrong and that was that. Now I am seeing this is an issue you are ignoring. The help desk has reports of people cancelling COL orders and getting back less than they placed down on the order. I made it very clear in my ticket what the problem was and got a response as if I was speaking in tongues at the guy. Hell, I had a deposit pending, filed ticket, then it disappeared from the help desk after a week of not being responded to. Then I refiled it and got the response that I should give them the transaction ID. There is no transaction ID on a pending deposit! Can I have some of what your staff are smoking?

I have been using Crypsty today and it has been really fast with deposits and withdrawals. At least with BTC and DOGE.

Then if you can not handle with existing amount of users you should block registration for some time,  until you get new hardware. If that what you say is true then criptsy will be stucking in a week again.

I have never had an issue with Cryptsy but have never dealt with Doge. BTC in, trade, BTC out and always works quickly and smoothly.

Hopefully it will pick up for all the other currencies!

why not let coins keep coming in from new users  ? when they eventually scam  or get "hacked"  they will have  an even greater profit

I had a deposit of 500-plus ORB coming in in three deposits. Only one has appeared and is 2/6 confirmations despite being sent who knows how many days ago. Ticket has not been responded to.

Also, I sold CENT at 3 XPM-satoshi a few days ago. The order executed at 2 XPM-satoshi. So far Cryptsy has yet to give me a proper reply on why this happens. (At that time, the buy wall at 3 XPM-satoshi was several thousand XPM thick)

when this hype all began I thought about buying 20k doge. tried and I couldn't.
half an hour later thought about buying 200K coz i went up from 50 to 80 and I couldn't.
Woke up the next day with a big negative balance on BTC and a huge positive balance on doge. by my calculation the buying rate for doges was about 120 average. and you bought that 200k+20k + moarrrrrrr :)

So while I was sleeping you spent all my BTC and even more to buy doge.

Every time I try to make any money and it involves Cryptsy I end up losing money due to technical issues.
I lost about 25% of my money in the last week and made zero because of the technical problems.

24 hr Pending Withdrawals during China crash... then DOGE deposits ... then DOGE order placing during DOGE crash (waiting 5 hours to do an order).
Every time something good happens - it turns into a loss. Every time. Every day this week.

Even now as I speak at Sunday 2am. No server load at all. Just missing deposit on DOGE. Again.

I give up man... this is a waste of time. I think using sites like coins-e and coinedup are the only safe bet.

So far, DOGE deposits on Cryptsy seem to take me a lot longer than with other coins.  They've all eventually gone through though (although I'm waiting on my last deposit).  My points balance is 0 though...

My Cryptsy deposits on several coins have been crediting in 20 minutes or less. The points disappeared then came back, and are really rather insignificant. It's an incentive, not your rent payment. Oh the drama...

I just want to bump this thread because I love the title. I almost wish they would sticky this thread until they are actually functioning correctly for weeks at a time.

My BTC on cryptsy has disappeared for the past five hours. I tried to place an order for several million DOGE several hours ago, but was unable to because my BTC has simply disappeared. Now DOGE is up literally 50 satoshies from when I attempted to place my order. This has cost me over $1,000 and what do I get in return? No response to any of my support tickets.

Talk about a terrible company.

I am told vern is in bed so we just wait for him to have a lay-in.

Management often thinks in terms of throwing resources at a problem, which is correct, but does little good if the underlying cause is not properly addressed in the technical sense.

On the other hand, engineering may have the understanding required to address it, but can easily ignore it, even if unconsciously, because the amount and difficulty of work required to completely restructure a spaghetti code base or to rewrite and reintegrate a component can be horrendous.

As pointed out already by some, I believe that the issue is not with volume per se, but with a core trade processing mechanism. I hope that it is addressed even if it takes months to do it, or if something has to be rewritten from scratch.

i get it that shit happens to  even the best of "companies" can have a problem ,but it seems like at Cryptsy its more like a miracle if shit doesnt happen on any particular day and thousands of transactions dont get fucked up often costing customers a loss of their funds etc

Understand that *you* aren't the only one having problems. I couldn't pull coins out at all last night, but I'm not whining about it.

When the price swings and the trades slow down because of it, the system recovers and catches up. That's why it seems like it does. Think of the order of magnitude that orders are happening now on Cryptsy. Vern is very likely making a massive payout just on trading fees. There is no reason whatsoever for him to have an incentive to slow them down at all. Any even tiny amount of scam involved in that would come at the cost of a loss in trading fees because orders aren't getting executed or aren't getting placed because the system is so loaded down. SMH....

Complainers: If you don't like it, go use another damned exchange. FFS, nobody is forcing you to use Cryptsy. You're using it, because despite it's flaws, it's one of the better exchanges out there. Effing BTER won't let you trade or withdrawl to 8 digits, so they are playing the office space game and trying to pocket a million half penny transactions. *That* is a scam. BTCe won't trade in many coins. I won't touch Mtgox because my fucking email and pass got leaked on the net when they got hacked. So please, go away or STFU.

You're whiteknighting for a company that has cost people literally hundreds of thousands in revenue. As the guy you quoted states, it's ok for companies to have a problem every now and again. Cryptsy has had the same problems for MONTHS. They do not address them. They do not answer tickets. They do not respond to 10,000+ forum threads all saying the same thing. They just keep adding more coins which is COMPOUNDING the problem. They might not be intentionally scamming, but they surely are not competent enough to run an exchange with that much volume. Have you seen the image of their servers? My single gaming PC could DDoS it into the ground. Essentially, they've strapped 30" rims to a Toyota Yaris and aren't addressing the fact that it won't drive in a straight line.

I've been trading on several exchanges for the past month now and these have been my experiences:

Btc-e is by far the best, fast and never any issues, but they don't have a lot of alt-coins.

I have oversold with cryptsy before, and I just had to deposit/buy to bring my account even and all was good, I have no problem with that. There has however been times where my account was audited and my coins would just decrease or increase, after not having used the site in a day. It very well could be the correct thing, but since it was so delayed, and I trade a lot, I have no idea and just have to trust their system did the correct thing. Currently I have a stuck order that partially filled, but I never recieved the bought coins and I cannot cancel the order. It just says "order processing" when I try. This order has been stuck for over 5 days now, and it was a fairly large purchase (for me atleast). I'm hoping they get to my ticket soon (#51645).

With bter, I oversold a tiny amount of LTC, because I was creating and canceling orders quickly. I have since deposited and bought/sold tons of LTC (over 100 times the amount in dispute, racking up trading fees all the while) to try and resolve the issue, but nothing has worked. Now the additional LTC I deposited is also stuck there. It's been 5 days and I've heard nothing from their support and admin emails.

So between bter and cryptsy, over half of my total BTC is stuck, it's not a good feeling.

Vircurex has been 100% for me. They have had issues with ltc/btc, but it just wouldn't let you place an order, so not a big deal.

Coinedup has also been 100%, it can be laggy to load the pages, but the orders/deposits/ and withdraws and stuff go through quickly if you can get the pages to load, which you can most of the time.

I've had deposit issues with coins-e, but after enough tickets and about 10 days they have all been resolved. The deposit issues seemed to all happen at once after one of my account balances got messed up. I created a new account and I will continue to trade here.

Crypto-trade has been solid for me as well, no issues. A little slow to load pages, and low volume, but it works great!

Best advice I can give for bter and cryptsy is to trade slowly with these sites, don't try and quickly add/remove orders. Sometimes you don't have a choice when the market is moving fast though ><

BTCe is rocking, its fast, responsive and every single deposit and withdrawal has worked flawlessly.  They are the example of how to do it right with 15k users logged in and Cryptsy volume every 15 minutes.

How do you expect a handful of people to answer a 10,000 tickets a day over the same bullshit? You aren't dealing with Amazon. I use it with HIGH caution. And I am fully aware of their server load levels.

It's sad because Cryptsy could be great if the threw out the whole site and made a super super simple very low server

I would take a guess that some new exchange/s will be coming in January that will basically take all their customers.
It's not hard to make one of these sites anymore. The support is hard but if your site works then no need for it.

 I have traded at Cryptsy for a while now. I had to sit out the better part of this month because of all the fools rushing in! That cost me a ton of money. But I haven't complained about it at all. Until now I haven't even mentioned that it cost me a lot of money to do so, but it was the correct move and I don't regret it in the least all things considered. And it's all these newbe bitches fault, NOT Cryptsy's fault! Their simpy a victim of their own successful business model, as well as being attacked by various dark forces and competitors, as well as competing fee shareholders at other Exchange(s). But I didn't whine or complain, nor point out those last tid bits until now. I simply stepped back and let others take their chances while I stood clear. Cause I knew damn well the system might totally crash. It didn't, and I for one was amazed it didn't totally crash.

But now I am going to do so ripping!

Many deposits, many trades, a few new crypto types, and again many withdrawals, during Off Peak time periods, while these late comer, wet behind the ears bitches were all getting their beauty sleep. And with enough dry powder left at Cryptsty so that during the last correction I was locked and loaded and ready for action, if the occasion arose. I didn't make that same mistake twice.

 I haven't had any of the issues these fools have had, as well as a few unfortunate others have had.

 I didn't have any negative balance issues. Because I stayed fully aware of how much I traded and how much should be left over. I knew when the count was incorrect and held back cause I knew the funds were really already gone but lagging in the system. It's called paying attention.

 I didn't lose any funds for any long period of times. Just during lag periods that always resolved automatically, as in without intervention. Seems only certain fat fingered bitches and a few unfortunate others have had less than satifactory results. Now why is it only certain ones are being severely effected and not others? hum. And I only enured one slow deposit, and one failed withdrawal that another attempt quickly resolved in mid December. At the end of November is when all hell broke loose. Before that everything at Cryptsy was great. This hasn't been going on for months. Lies such as that get my attention and draw me out to rip new assholes into those that fully deserve it!

 I don't appreciate all these newbies rushing in and jamming up our favorite watering hole (Cryptsy), at all. I don't even fire up the Qt wallet's PC to receive them very often until a day or two later at the earliest, usually, and then check off all the incoming expected withdrawals because hey, they either hit the blockchain or they don't, and we don't need to even fire up our Qt wallets but to merely confirm they did arrive on the blockchain properly. It ain't like our wallets really have any coin in them anyways, but you bitches didn't even know that much about any of this now did you? All always arrive, sooner or later. And when I do immediately check, they usually arrive quickly then too after withdrawals, and if they don't I simply don't fret and don't worry because it will get solved and will get done, sooner or later. The easy way (automatic, or the hard way, if needed), but I never had to intervene yet, at all, not ever. Not for this whole year, not once! With well over a thousand trades no problems that needed me to write even a single ticket.

Cryptsy has been very smooth for me the past few days. I'm not cryptsy's shill. I am however, getting good exchanges from them, and am genuinely not having problems with lost deposits. I did make a transfer of Fastcoin once, that took like two days to show up (not so 'fast' eh?), so I stopped dealing with Fastcoin and traded in something else. I filed a ticket about it, and they fixed their deposit program, and the deposit showed up. I didn't :'(  on the forum about it.

I literally just made two deposits into Cryptsy, which credited about 5 minutes after it was sent. I will make my trades and pull out. Smooth as butter. No need for any stress or whiny forum posts.

Edit: 12 minutes later, I made 2 deposts, 8 trades, 3 cancellations, and 1 withdrawl, incl accepting an email confirmation. It really wasn't that hard.  ;)

Edit, Edit: For the record, it took 51 minutes for my funds to fully witdrawl from Cryptsy, slow by my standards, but I'm not filing tickets over it.

I have been using them for quite a while now with no problems.

Till this morning.

Deposited 173 XJO, but it's gone now. It did show up under the pending deposits column of the balances page for awhile. Then, about 30 minutes later, it vanished. Not listed as available and not listed as pending. Just gone. Yet their deposit transaction history shows the deposit being made.

Tweeted, and opened a ticket. over 3 hours ago. No response. Of course, it is the weekend, so I wouldn't be surprised if I don't hear anything for a while.

I'm really quite pi--ed off right now about this.

And now all of a sudden it shows up. AFTER I had already pulled out my BTC to sell on BTC-E.

I was waiting before I did that till after I sold the XJO to keep my withdraws and fees to a minimum, but was getting impatient with them.

Been waiting over 2 hours so far this morning for a DVC deposit to show up. It already has 12 confirmations, still doesn't even show on them as pending yet.

Yesterday, it took 23 hours for a IXC deposit to even show on their exchange and another hour after that before it posted. There is no reasonable excuse for that time frame. Especially when you consider that BTC dropped over a $100 in that same time frame.

As I said before, I have been using them for quite a while with no problems at all, but in the last 3-4 days they have become a real joke and I'm getting really tired of every deposit I make lately being hung up for ridiculous amounts of time and costing me money.

Provided a transaction id for a deposit that has different quantity. Colossuscoin is now confirmed 3149 times. Third ticked that is now 5 days old is still open and no agent and answer. Mind blown...

Now my fist ticked is 7 days old and no one has looked at it. Others are still forwarded to Agent Mullic who has not answered anything in days.

I think that this is really terrible how cryptsy can keep 100200 coins pending for almost a week when the prices of coins can vary +/- 100% within one day.

At least in my case, it's been resolved.

I had opened a ticket, giving the time, date, amount and deposit address (Devcoin's windows wallet doesn't give TXID's), and about 20 minutes later, two different agents replied to me within seconds of each other. The first one asking for the time, date, amount and TXID (obviously they didn't even bother to "read" the ticket) and the second one asked for just the TXID. Sooooooo, using the deposit address, I searched the devcoin block explorer and found the TXID and sent it to both of them. No reply from anyone, but about 6 hours later, it finally showed up.

Not sure why I had to track down the TXID for them. All they do with that is look at the blockchain themselves anyways and could have just as easily found it the same way I did, with the deposit address, in just a few seconds, rather than wasting over a hour playing email tag. Sad I have to do my own support leg work for them.

Last couple of days have been better though. Actually made 4 deposits with no problems. Luck maybe?

I dunno. At least I can say I've never been screwed out of my coins by them. I always get what is coming to me, eventually, after opening a ticket and waiting, waiting, waiting. But that's hardly a stunning testimonial of their service.

Also, not very happy with their new years change of instituting minimum transaction amounts for trades now. No other exchange has that. It's not necessary. Seriously, if micro transactions are causing them problems, then they have bigger problems than just handling micro transactions that not dealing with won't fix.

Why can't these exchanges work as good as the others, like Coined Up. Been trading there a lot lately. EVERY deposit and withdrawal I have made happened in less than 5 minutes. Shame they are so limited in the coins they handle.

It seems they sent out "block emails" declaring all tickets fixed, like the jackass Big Vern is.

I , also, run multiple systems, including windows 7, ultimate, and as low as windows xp fully updated, ie 8.

AMD and intel multicore processors, no less than 8GB on any one machine, mostly 16Gb and higher on everything except the windows xp machine. XP won't handle anything above 3GB anyway. The ram, is usually the highest speed the MB will handle.
I have software that will use the remainder of the ram, like autocad.

Jan 31st, Looking into auto-sell problems (people have been having problems for over a month!)
Feb 1st, New API URL online (it sucks, with 10-15 minute lag times between updates!)

They brag about their resources and upgrades and support. But the functionality of the site is not getting better. Yet despite the issues they have, they still keep rushing to add more and more coins before fixing the issues.

You've just described every exchange out there. CoinEX has high volume too, yet they don't have the deposit problems that craptsy does. I've done more than twice as much exchanging on CoinEX and only ever had one problem with a single DOGE deposit and the delay was because of the DOGE fork, not CoinEX. Never had to open 4-5 tickets a week because my deposits never went through like I have on craptsy.

This comes back to what I said a few paragraphs ago. Adding new coins all the time. You know, if there was such a problem with volume, maybe they would hold back on adding more coins and more volume till they are able to reasonably handle it? CoinEX has been undergoing some upgrades and they have flat out said no more coins till everything is done is working perfectly. Craptsy should follow their lead. No new coins till they fix everything else that is wrong first.

I've used CoinedUp many times. Longest it took for any transfer was 20 minutes.



Made the mistake of trying craptsy again and made another Devcoin deposit last week. Guess what. Never went through. Even with 32 confirmations after 4 hours, it didn't even appear as pending. Another ticket, another day of waiting, finally shows up. They didn't even reply to the ticket that it's been resolved for another day after that!

Delray is only a few hours away from me. Sometimes I really feel like driving up there with my wallet usb stick in one hand and a baseball bat in the other and see if they have any problems accepting a deposit then.

If the issue was confirmations, then all exchanges would have the same turn around time.

Having been using CoinEX, CoinedUp, Cryptsy, Coins-E for the better part of 4 months, I can tell you Cryptsy is horrible when it comes to receiving deposits. Never had to wait 24 hours+ or open a ticket for a missing deposit on CoinEX, CoinedUp or Coins-E. Why is that?

Oh, some coins will deposit right away, just as they do on all the other exchanges. BTC, DEM, TGC, UNO. Never had problems with them on Cryptsy. But some of the lesser coins, like FFC, DVC, XJO just never show up at all sometimes till after you've opened a ticket with them. And I'm not talking available. Of course it won't be available till after the required confirmations. But after only one confirmation, it should be listed on their system as "pending". When a transaction has exceeded the number of confirmations needed for release, and it still hasn't shown as pending, available or in the transaction history as ever happening, then yeah, the problem is them.

Cryptsy has a wallet issue. This has been obvious for over a month. The fact that a problem in DOGE shut their whole system down for a while one day last month proves it. Yet they keep on adding more and more coins to a stressed out system that can't even cope with what they already had.

I nearly never touch cryptsy anymore, absolutely never keep a large amount of BTC in my account there.  So tonight, I wanted to buy a fairly large amount (to me anyway) of various alts.  I transferred a total of 4.8ish BTC to cryptsy, as soon as they confirmed, I was logged out and my BTC is gone!  Always, always, always, cryptsy needs to fuck me over when there are critical market movements.  GIVE ME MY 4.8 BTC FUCKING NOW AND NOT AFTER 3 DAYS WHEN YOU FUCKS DECIDE TO ANSWER MY TICKET!!!

LOLz @ people who think this is only a confirmation issue. Anyone with some knowledge of how it works can easily look up the transactions in the block chain to see sometimes over a thousand confirmations on the apparent deposit/withdraw.

Yes, most exchanges might not have the volume of trades and whatnot, but a good majority of the good ones will take it down and NOTIFY people of the issues. With Cryptsy, you never know what is going on, they just let it ride.

What I find funny is the cheerleaders for cryptsy seem to admit there might be problems, instead of actually saying that they should be fixed, stick up for them like its alright. With as much money as the exchange does make, they should be rather quick to get these problem fixed. I know it is not an easy task to keep up with everything, but that is why you have a support staff. I know many of us would be happy to get paid rather little for our time for the love of cryptos, for stuff going smoothly makes everyone happy and draws more in.

 A lot of us, the vast majority, have had very little problems with Cryptsy. Delays are to be expected
until all of this comes out of beta. Everything about Crypto-Currencies is sadly still in beta, btw.

 With well over 2000 trades now I still have had only a few problems at Cryptsy. And all of those
were solved, completely. Without fail.

 For any fool wishing to day trade: Just find a Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan Chase Bankster and hand
them all your monies, and save yourselves of the frustrations of beating on a no win proposition.

 Day trading is only for long term, wall street pro's. And those that enjoy acts of futility. After all, the
fact is wall street is the crookedest casino in the world. With other Stock exchanges close behind them.

 It's a myth that one can Day Trade their way to major profits. The trading fees alone will eat your
asses completely up. Even with the lowest trading fee rates.

 But one may wish to try trend trading. Then again that's for those with patience, and not for those that
loudly and rudely, as well as obnoxiously complain at any and all points of system problems. And don't
dare kick your pets or slap around your mates or children, or you will soon be in prison, where you really

You know, I have to just sit back and laugh at all the Cryptsy haters. When you put things into perspective, it's quite comical.

I work in the financial industry, and back in 2002-05 when the volume of electronic trades was going up exponentially, there were so many growing pains. To hear the complaints of people in regards to getting screwed out of thousands of crap-coins that most likely doesn't even have value of $10 (yes, some have had issues worth more, but that is not as common)- you have to understand that in the early electronic trading days, guys were getting screwed left and right to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and in some cases, even more. Real losses in real dollars, not whatever kind of questionable value the newest alt-coin has. The exchanges couldn't handle the volume and they couldn't handle the market data updates. The software vendors couldn't handle the volume, and they couldn't handle the market data either. It was a huge mess. People were screaming every single day.

Cryptsy is new, and they are still pretty much a start-up. They have the most volume of any exchange, in a market that is rapidly growing. We need to show some patience and understand that things will get better as they figure things out. I don't believe it is their intention to screw anyone and they seem to be trying to grow and expand their services. If they were purposely trying to screw people, they would be shooting themselves in the foot. They aren't perfect, but if we want cryptocoins to grow, we should be showing them patience and working with them opposed to trying to sue them, file class action lawsuits against them, and essentially just put them out of business. The amount of hatred over what is essentially less than $100 is shocking. I mean even at $100, that's like what- 2 tanks of gas?

They open an investigation and get the customer their money back.

Who is driving the price up to those absurd levels?

Say Vern and friends are buying up a lot of crap coins at a low price...who is then driving it higher for them to dump those coins? Who is buying these coins as they go higher and higher (as Vern and friends are selling them off)? In the charts I've seen, the value looks to spike for a very brief time period at a low volume. The charts do not show the distributed traded prices, and I do not have access to the raw data to see what that distribution looks like. The only people losing right off the bat are the people who are buying at the peak. Since we do not know how many people actually bought around the peak, we don't really know what kind of damage we are looking at.

If it's a repeated issue (which it clearly is), then you should know the behavior, and can act accordingly to save yourself the headache. Are you just mad you didn't get to sell those coins at those inflated levels?

After no replies to my numerous PM's and tweets, I will ask here in a conspicuous way because:

My god, you are a cunt. This has to be one of the most pretentious things I have ever read on here.

I know there is a lot of hatred for Ripple because many view it as a centralized currency that was pre-mined, but it is essentially a distributed and decentralized exchange.

You can trade Doge or any other currency just like you do on any other exchange.  Only difference is that Ripple has "bridges" that allow you to send your coins to the blockchain pretty much instantly (half hour or so) without having someone OK them.  

You also have the ability to transfer your funds into something that has no third party risk (XRP) - and although many do not like XRP because it was all pre-mined, it has value and can't be stolen without a secret key (just like Bitcoin).   This is the one thing missing in most exchanges.  You need to keep your coins with the exchange so you can trade, but if you want them on the blockchain you need to send them off the exchange (TIME AND MONEY).   This can all be sidestepped with Ripple.

You need a Ripple wallet and about 25 xrp (50 cents) to get started.  No other XRP is required except a .00001 xrp fee on trades.

This is usually from your provider blocking us outright, delaying us or throwing us to spam.

Most users in that situation get an email provider that doesn't have this issue. Gmail so far has been the most reliable yahoo being second. Seems Hotmail at times will delay emails.

I'm waiting on a stuck BTC withdrawal right now. I heard of this happening to others but never thought it would happen to me.

IF they release my money, I'll stick to the quality smaller but growing exchanges like poloniex , bittrex, swisscex (realllly need volume there), and bter is a good large exchange. Mintpal has some growing pains still going on but they are trying to improve. They tend to slow down under very heavy load.

been waiting over 3 hours so far this morning for a DVC deposit to show up. It already has 11 confirmations, still doesn't even show on them as pending yet.

Yesterday, it took 22 hours for a IXC deposit to even show on their exchange and another hour after that before it posted. There is no reasonable excuse for that time frame. Especially when you consider that BTC dropped over a $100 in that same time frame.

As I said before, I have been using them for quite a while with no problems at all, but in the last 3-4 days they have become a real joke and I'm getting really tired of every deposit I make lately being hung up for ridiculous amounts of time and costing me money.

Hmmmm...i'll just say that I've done a small amount of trading on Cryptsy, and I'm happy with pretty much everything, only place I've had issues is NXT deposits. Of the last 4 deposits i've made, 2 went as smooth as a smooth thing, one was delayed by 12 hours and the last took 4 days to get sorted. I'd give them 8/10 overall

Still, at least they haven't run away with my precious CraftCoins.

funny how some of these guys claim that cryptsy is flawless lol far from it, i use it if i need to, but be careful, i've lost some coins even after i showed proof,

I never had major problems with them in the past, and most issues you see in the forum end up being resolved by the support team.
They did have a few bugs in the past where it's possible that some user withdrew amounts of BTC bigger than their balance, which might be a warning sign. However, the fact that they still pay dividends on their fee shares makes me trust they are still quite solvant.

They haven't opened my account, and YET...all I got was a form letter back in january that all tickets had been resolved. This is a withdrawal from Craptsy, more then 2 weeks have passed and it has not confirmed yet.

I havent used Cryptsy in ages, I use mostly Mintpal and Poloniex these days. Poloniex seems to be pretty solid, I don't know why it isn't the most used exchange. It was the first that figured out how to deal with Cryptonight algo coins. The rest just didn't bother, and they lost shit tons of volume, the volume that XMR brought with it. I also remember more than once my coins dissapearing randomly and not appearing only hours after, making me any chances of acting fast and benefiting from pumps and dumps, I didn't use Cryptsy never again henceforth.

I mean BigVerm the dumb is upgrading the graphic while users like me have been waiting weeks for their money, fuck these idiots, fuck you Craptsy, you bunch of thieves give me back my coins they're mine!

The people working support are a joke, they don't understand anything and just transfer you to other people that won't help. I log in my account and it says it's locked because it has been 6 months since i logged in and to write support an email. I did, they ask me for security questions which I tell them I don't know because I just write bs for an answer like sfdsfs for example. Then they "escalate" the ticket to some other fools which give me a link and tell me to log in, when I try to log in it says bad fail attempt. Now I am 100% sure I know my password and username, because I have them written down, so they probably reset it or something. Also, initially I logged in and it told me it's locked and to contact support. Now I wrote that to their support and it's been 4 days no answer. I also PM mullick on here and told him about this issue and no reply from him either. Finally, I have 0 BTC in that account, because I pulled out my BTC before I went inactive, the email I reply is the same I used to set up, idk how hard it is to unlock a damn account. So disappointing seriously!

Our eMark Wallet is under maintenance since a half year. I and few people from eMark comunity have write some PNs to Mullick -> no answer. If you open a ticket the answer is always the same -> forwarded your ticket to our wallet specialist

@Mullick pls update DEM wallet to version 1.3.1 New Wallet is available for over three weeks now...
