as mentioned, cant know future, bubbles are really only bubbles from a financial aspect once they have popped
the major falls coincide with major sell offs. that what pushes a price down or up, the shortage or excess of supply & demand
and major sell offs occur when either someone decides its a good price and dumps a heap, or/and others see price go down, panic and dump to catch the high price

there's some good technical explanations of 'put options' and 'shorting' in there too near the start.

In many countries, converting fiat currency to BTC and vice-versa is a problem. What's the best answer? Just use Bitcoin. If you can convince someone to accept Bitcoin as payment for a good or service then you don't have to worry about converting BTC to fiat. However, until that happens there will be the problems of converting BTC to fiat currency.
my thoughts on this exactly. you just need some importer in Somalia who can pay for his imports (eg mobile phones etc) in btc instead, then he gets his USD back when he sells his imports pretty simple really, maybe start sending them the emails they send us, Job opportunity: Help needed to cash cheques import goods etc. etc. ...

i spoke too soon, i still get these crashes een with old version though maybe not as much, but deleting the database folder still works for me atleast temporarily.

after upgrading to latest version and restarting a few times i got this error mentioned. reinstalling (without uninstall) worked but only till i restarted the client the next time.
then thought id try deleting the file in database folder, this worked too, and lasts client restarts
also using an older version pre qt worked too, infact i have them both in the saem install as i didnt uninstall pre-qt version b4 installing qt version.
there's something about seeing the confirm numbers ticking over as your block chain updates that i miss from the old client.... ;(

yes i agree, but the guide is good, and labelling the thread failed is misleading, as it works on some but not others (newer)

ive read of it happening with other's though my experience is just with 7, but i have xp which i should test.

Hey. I feel like a dummy, but I can't seem to reply to your thread. I signed up and logged in but I don't see a "reply" button anywhere. i had this too, you need to logout and back in and when you do it will show you a TOS that you agree to, then you can post/reply. thanks for posting

Bios editing. It's pretty safe to do when you have a bios switch.
My second favourite would be Ati Tray Tools, but it doesn't support multiple cards.
+1 for ati tray tools for my card nothing else can underclock mem like it can it does support multiple cards if they are the same.
