VKBIT, Would you be able to add "Diff" (Luck) to the individual miner screen/page? Even though the main pool may be at 156%, individually we are all at something lower because no two miners are working the same block- (each miner is working a custom block because it has their BTC payout address in it). Just a Thought... you have "Diff" (Pool Luck) on the main page. Thanks -- great pages BTW
Sadly there is no reliable way to do this by user because of the way stats are reset and miners idle for over a month are reset. The closest approximation is "shares" per user, but it could give a falsely low diff percentage unless the miner has been mining constantly on the same user address without interruption. If that's enough to use then by all means shares / network difficulty as a marker of diff%.

I will say it again I don't see any reason you should not fire the normal pool up again. I'm sure hashrate would land on it now with everything going on.
Spoke about it before but maybe there would be scope for it again now?
Pool is on fire!! Great to see the blocks flowing!
Keep lucky everyone <3
It's just one solitary miner. They could disappear at any time. A regular pool needs even more hashrate than solo currently has, or it will never attract other miners. In addition most big miners are run by committees and have stakeholders and shit that demands regular fixed income. This is why FPPS has taken off like crazy - a payment scheme that no small pool can afford to maintain. Whilst PPLNS is the fairest system, most if not all big miners aren't interested in the volatility of it.

Bloody hell! AFAIK all 4 have been from the same person. Wonder what their rental cost them for this?
I don't think this is a rental. My guess is it's a large mining entity - probably swan mining - that is testing the feasibility of mining solo with their massive hashrate. If it's swan, then they have 7.5EH under their belts (and have said they are scaling to double this.)

Hello CK, I wanted to ask you if you have this information about the miners who solved the 284 blocks in the last 10 years, from which continents they are. I wanted to know how many would be from the USA and how many would be from Europe. Thank you a lot
I do not know, and given the pseudonymity offered by the pool I'm not inclined to check the logs to find their IP addresses and reveal it either.

For smaller miners, the presence of one massive miner has no effect on your mining, or chance to solve a block. There was a pool many years ago that used to prioritise communications to its biggest miners, but solo ckpool does not do that.

No, it was 0.5EH. Their hashrate fluctuates but averages about 0.5EH. That is total right ? because i see the worker who caught the block, maybe i am wrong. Workers don't mean much, even at 60PH it's a cluster of smaller mining hardware mining through a proxy, but their overall hashrate is all that matters. 0.5EH total is a massive mining entity.

No, it was 0.5EH. Their hashrate fluctuates but averages about 0.5EH.

Endianness. Reverse every block of 8 characters.
What about the version used in block versions, sir? I always get 20000000, and the latest block found by ckpool has the version 2588e000? Sorry, I'm very new to the stratum protocol. I'm planning to create my own mining tool btw You're in the wrong place. This is the support thread for solo.ckpool.org ONLY. it is a valid question. ckPool typically sends 20-00-00-00 as the block version and someone has mined a ckPool with a different block version (25-88-e0-00). Lots of people could be wasting time and hashrate if they are pointing to ckPool instance that is sending out unminable blocks. ASIC boost version rolling and perfectly valid, otherwise it wouldn't have solved a block.

|
The massive 0.5EH miner that solved the last block is mining here again. Let's see if they continue doing it and are as lucky this time around.

|

That's cute, thanks. Feel free to post the link in the solo support thread.

Someone's been maintaining 0.5 EH on the pool for a while now. No idea who it is but I doubt it's a rental. I suspect a large mining entity sending part or all of their hashrate solo. I wonder how long they're going to keep it up for.
