761  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] Two B52 and Two B29 miners on: June 03, 2018, 02:29:22 PM
Two B52 miners as is, still sealed in boxes, without PSUs, $1500USD each in BTC equivalent at time of purchase.

Two B29 miners as is, still sealed in boxes, without PSUs, $3000USD each in BTC equivalent at time of purchase.

Items are in Australia so delivery charge will need to be added to cost.

They have not been run or even opened as most people will be aware I am a bitcoin maximalist and I received these as a communication mix up during development for Halong's bitcoin miners.

CK, Thanks. I am learning a lot. Can you clarify "keep mining" please. My concern is downtime due to shutdowns because of electrical storms, vacations(7 days) where I don't want to leave the miners running unmonitored , etc. At what timeframe or threshold twiggers a ramp down? If I risk leaving 1 miner (out of X) connected to my user the ramp is preserved at 5N? Granted my hash rate would go down but my full rampup would be saved regardless of the significant pool hashing flucuations?
It's not a big deal if you have downtime. There's no need to concern yourself with "filling in" the ramp up or anything like that; you simply get paid for the shares you submit. But yes once you have been on for 5N then it doesn't matter how much the pool fluctuates, you are fully ramped up until you disconnect - but then it also takes 5N for it to fully ramp down.
763  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [20 PH] ckpool.org ZERO FEE SPLNS no registration mining pool US/DE/CN on: June 02, 2018, 05:15:44 PM
This pool changes hash rate alot, especially with Halong helping by burning in their miners. If 5nd is 30 days and I have been mining for 35 days, im fully ramped up and getting a full reward. If, the hash rate drops down, and 5ND goes up to 50 days this would mean I am no longer fully ramped correct? Even though I was earlier?
Once you're ramped up, if you keep mining, you stay ramped up.

Is this transaction a pool payout @-ck

a6eb5238510cc146edc147e131b4955922f6d29cc145c040a9c1265b5dbe4de1
Nope. All pool payouts are generated "coinbase" coins, like this:

re ^^, again, contact MyRig. This is not a Halong Dragonmint issue.
Betcha that the mods move the posts to the MyRig support thread...
I'm sure they would if this fucked up ancient forum provided such a capability to the mods. The new forum which we'll allegedly be getting in 2.5 years ago should fix that.

Pls pm me when u figured out how to get the time machine to go back to 2.5 years ago lol
Indeed if you think the users are frustrated by the delays on the new forum software, it's nothing compared to the pain the mods feel... But we better get back on topic.
766  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 17.2TH/s, 1570W Innosilicon announces the most powerful and efficient BTC Miner on: May 31, 2018, 09:40:44 PM
If -ck says that he is not co-operating with Inno,
does that mean that Inno is using his software without permission?
Unlikely. A while back someone said that it is Luke-Jr (the 'other' mining sw and pool operator guru, author of BFGminer and OP of Elgius) who is doing T2 work for Inno.

Cgminer is free software. They're allowed to use it provided they make public any modifications they make to the software themselves, if they release hardware containing such software to the public.

I suspect any claim that Luke-Jr is helping Innosilicon is just as likely as the claim that's going around that I'm helping Innosilicon.

hi,
i've halong t1 and i experienced very high discarded rate. eg:
"Accepted": 81575,
"Rejected": 127,
"Discarded": 147582,
what can be the reason for this very high value?
average ping time is 47ms to depool.ckpool.org
Discards mean nothing. It is discarded unused work, not discarded shares; hence why they're not shown in the T1 interface.
769  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: May 31, 2018, 04:32:24 AM
Fan is at 100% on efficiency mode, Boards are running at 70, 72, 76 according to awesome miner. 14TH/s. Is this normal?
It's normal for a very hot environment... I really wouldn't run them at anything but efficient mode mode given that. You won't even be able to tune them at anything higher.
6 other t1's on the same rack, right next to each other fans running at 36-64 same temps.
Well common sense would say that one is not quite right then... Make sure they're on the same firmwares. One had dodgy values.

No it's not. You're even linking to innosilcon's website, no?

Yeah, but I thought I had read about a partnership or something? And this miner is the same specs that Halong advertised, is called the same (T2). I didnt know if halong was making them, slapping on a innosilcon label and letting innosilcon sell the product for them for some reason.
The relationship is complicated to say the least, and in time all will become clearer. I wouldn't be saying anything except for the fact that Inno have been quoted as saying they are in partnership with me somehow which is not true, thus I have nothing to do with their T2 either. I've only been employed by MyRig to work on Halong's miners and I've only worked on the T1.

And it's gone...

It looked to be rented hash from the 36JMs8rogpizjkkp6eeKMmm3SLbSNo5H9V miner. I was keeping an eye on it hoping it would stay. I have 250TH on the pool right now, and will have another 300TH as soon as I find somewhere with power as I am maxed out at my house. Hopefully within the next month as my miners are just sitting in boxes.
No it's not rented hash. That's Halong burn in. They must be burning in the next batch of miners.

Oh thats awesome. Must be the T2 batch. So the 36JM address is the default address on the T1's when we get them? I didnt pay attention as I changed mine.
They're T1s. Halong isn't releasing a T2, or at the very least, they're no longer advertising one.

We're currently over 60PH which is the highest this pool has been to date. I don't know how long it will be there, though, but it's most welcome Smiley

Apparently someone is misrepresenting me and saying I'm working with Innosilicon on their hardware or software. I repeat: this is not true.
778  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: May 30, 2018, 09:24:45 PM
(2) more PSUs just failed.
And I have one T1 that just stays in Autotune
Hashing at 12.6TH/s for over 12 hours.
Tried rebooting but just keeps Autotuning.

 Huh Huh Huh
If they are running too hot during autotune it will refuse to complete and the display will wrongly show that autotune is still in process long after startup. What fanspeeds are you hitting in the first half hour of runtime?

Will you please provide a specific range of what qualifies as "running too hot" that will trigger this problem -- or at least what temp range we should aim to be in when we autotune? Thank you....

The driver automatically throttles the device to prevent it overheating so in principle you should NEVER see them overheat now. But once it has throttled it will not complete tuning. If your fan hits 100% for any period, that's when you know it would have otherwise overheated.

Thanks for the quick answer.
This is strange I saw myself listed in the payout section every other block. Can you fall back out into the delayed section once you were listed for payout?
Yes you can. It depends on the balance of hashes at the time.

Hi, I'm a relatively new user of your pool.
I got a question about the payouts. It looked like I was in the payout section every other block, the last payment I received in my wallet and per BTC.com was the 2/28/18 block though. I should have received a payout on 3/23 (2nd block) and 5/27. for both of these I was listed in the payout section yet I have no records of receiving any payment.
Just trying to figure out what is going on.
Minner address is 1GzyZmmNyo2P16RUAh5TnKBFLFs4FbgfiC

Here are all the block details at length:
http://ckpool.org/blocks/

I see you only having made the payout queue on 2 blocks out of those.
