1  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you think Bitcoin & Crypto would look like in 10 years? on: September 13, 2018, 03:41:56 PM
I see a lot of people claims that crypto is the currency of the future and in few years the value of one BTC would be around 70-100k
How do you think this industry will evolve in the future and what would really happen?

Remember the date, 10 years from now we can come back and see if we right XD

Ten years from now it is not impossible that cryptocurrency has taken all over the world and it is not impossible that it could take over fiat money.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: September 12, 2018, 04:22:08 PM
Digital currency is to change the world, many of which were positive, to a certain extent, they pose a containment of the government, gave the people an alternative, but that doesn't mean they don't need to be regulated.

One of the core reason is: anonymous, do not track, not regulated digital currency will make form a closed loop technology crime, money laundering and terrorist, and disappear from unsolved bits, bytes, while the impact damage with each person in this world.

If every penny of extortion is tracked, is there enough motivation and courage to launch a WannaCry to attack the world?
Because these generation is now a digital world. And cryptocurrency is the most and relevant breakthrough in this age of technology.
3  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why does it call "market will never sleeps"? on: September 12, 2018, 09:16:27 AM
I have seen that certain people said that market will never sleep. As I know, like usual market at NASDAQ or NYE Stock Market they usually open their market at 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. So why does it call market never sleep? I am curious. I am new to this kind of thing
Simple because we live in different contries with different time frames. The transactions all over the world continues and never ends.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here has the most Bitcoin? on: September 10, 2018, 04:04:13 PM
Who here on Bitcointalk has the MOST bitcoin?
I'd like to see the top winners prove it, no fakers claiming 1,000,000 BTC please lol

It would be fun to see who the heavy hitters are and what a heavy hitter is defined as.  I want to get an idea of what is considered a lot, or a little.
I'm not sure if I have a lot or a little, so I will ask the community first.  Wink

I'm sitting on a good amount.  Wonder if I have more than anyone else, or not.   If nobody has close to my amount I might keep my mouth shut.  lol
For me the person who has the most bitcoin is the imventor of bitcoin himself. He for sure sets this system to earn.
5  Economy / Marketplace / Re: can bitcoin in the future surpass gold? on: September 10, 2018, 03:19:22 PM
I believe that bitcoin is underestimated, I do not claim that it should only grow! But I'm sure that the future is for him! crypto currency in general, and bitcoin in particular - this is digital gold, many people still do not understand this. I'm sure that in ten years it will be so.
Stop comparing bitcoin and gold both were different things and why not both can stay in the future? Bitcoin is already the most valued currency of the world but it don't have physical structure whereas the gold is metal and it is considered as the most safest investment so we can't compare them anyways.
Well personally in terms of value one could compare bitcoin and gold. Possibly it con in the future i hope so. Fingers crossed.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Warren Buffet , Bill Gates , ... call Bitcoin a scam ? on: September 08, 2018, 03:42:23 PM
So , why do they call Bitcoin a scam ?

  • Firstly , they say that for their reputation.
Imagine if they advise to invest in Bitcoin and btc will go down ... they will really ridiculous..
  • And then , if they advise to invest , what would say Banks , ... ?

  •   Furthermore , they control banks and others Institutions , so if People invest in btc , they will loose power , for sure.
And as if they advise a thing , people will follow them , they can't.

Nevertheless , do not say that they don't understand this technology , they perfectly know.
They have a lot of knwoledges , more thay anyone.
And I'm pretty sure that one of them have a stock of BTC.

Just remember that they are powerful , and full of knowledge , but bitcoin is dangerous for them , that's why they call it a scam , they are our enemies.
I saw one interview of Bill Gates regarding bitcoin in that interview he was ask how he sees bitcoin i could not recall billgates calling it a scam, he has stand on it but not totally negative.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: What strategy we should take when Bitcoin price fall on: September 08, 2018, 02:17:42 PM
If you don't believe in it - sell it. If you believe in it - hold tightly it Smiley
If you a daily trader, you should buy if the price low and sell it when the price high - very easy, huh ? Tongue
Hahaha., exactly very easy to say but the process undergone By many investors maybe very disturbing and saddening for many.. but yes I agree this is what usuallypeople do everytime the price drops.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is most likely going to die, here is why... on: September 07, 2018, 02:09:04 PM
I do not own any bitcoin, but I knew about bitcoin 6 years ago, before most people even heard about it. Except I didn't buy it then, I was wrong about that prediction. So I am trying to see if I can make some money now.

But looking into the future, I am still not convinced about bitcoin. Before anyone get all defensive, I would like to know WHY you think it will go up. Because I would like to make some money too.  Grin

In my view, there are several problems:

1. Bitcoin value is all based on sentiment. Most people say it is under valued now, but that is only a reflection of how you feel about it. And this is fine, because in comparison most stock prices are irrational as well (especially these days). people make lots of money buying over valued stocks. But the problem I see is that the fear-of-missing-out sentiment has passed. Almost everyone know about bitcoin now. And they also know Bitcoin has dropped 70% of the value since its highest peak? Once someone get burned by something, the others will be a lot more cautious. And when people become rational about a investment that is built on sentiment, that is a huge problem for future growth. there are many examples of puffed up stocks crashing down to earth, and never to recover its value. The ones that can recover and soar in the long run all have great business fundamental to support its value, in other words "making money".

2. Bitcoin is no longer unique. Regardless of what people say, bitcoin is not like gold. Sure, the amount of bitcoin is finite, but it is not unique compared to other cryptocurrency. The only thing special about it, is the name itself. And there are tons of new cryptocurrencies now, and people can create infinitely more types, IF it is profitable. Correct me if I am wrong, what is the fundamental difference between a "bitcoin" and a "ripple" other than the value? nothing at all.

3. technology risks. There is always a possibility a more advanced cryptocurrency will emerge and completely outshine bitcoin. I believe there are already some cryptocurrency that transact faster than bitcoin? Not sure of the detail but I have read it somewhere. And when it happens again and again bitcoin will be wiped out. Remember we used to use CDs? tapes? camera films? Bitcoin was created almost a decade ago, that is a lifetime ago in the technology world.

other issues: practicality, and safety. It doesn't actually make paying for something easier, and some argue this is safer than traditional banking, well just look at the news of people lost coins or got hacked.

I do think it is possible for bitcoin to go up (not skyrocket though), but it seems the headwind is getting really strong. So why do you think you should hold on? Instead of just saying "it will go to the moon", "it will change the world", please provide reason.

There are so many reasons for it to die for the negative thinking people likewise there are many
reasons for it to grow and become dominant currency for those people who thinks positively.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin on: September 07, 2018, 01:26:28 PM
Many people express different types of bitcoin. Someone says Bitcoin is not a currency. Again someone says that Bitcoin is only a bubble, it will never be universally recognized. Some countries have banned Bitcoins so that illegal activities will not be increased in the country. Because some of time bitcoin use for terror works. Some people say that investment in bitcoin is not profitable. There are some other such complaints about Bitcoin.

But the funny thing is that even though there are so many complaints, Bitcoin has become popular all day around the world. I think we need to change our mind about bitcoin's. Cool

Really, people's complaints about Bitcoin are correct?

People complains when they dont profit yet on something they invested. But I hope when they earn good they share the Good news!  Right a lot of people are trying to discreditted bitcoin due to conflict of interests people should be wise and think hard what to believe. So far the effects of bitcoin in my life is SIMPLY AMAZING!
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins may end year .....! on: September 06, 2018, 01:22:12 PM
BITCOIN price has fallen by 65 percent since its December highs but its correlation between emerging markets indicates the cryptocurrency could end 2018 “explosively higher” than ever before, according to bitcoin expert Thomas Lee.

The possibilities are endless, i do not believe that this year is a bad year for bitcoin it could turn around just anytime soon especially by the end of the year as it has always  done before. I believe that bitcoin has just only begin and i dont want to be left behind.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is near to end on: September 06, 2018, 04:44:00 AM
First block of proof. (I explain, why BTC in current state doesnt have future of 20 or 40 years, when all 21M BTC will be released, It will end much earlier).

It is no secret, that solving blocks is getting more difficult and that is happening in exponential rate.
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-difficulty.html

At the same time, profitability of mining vanishes into zero. It has ROI negative in most of countries already.
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-mining_profitability.html

At the same time Hash rate grows and grows.
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-hashrate.html

Its a common myth here, that vanishing profitability of mining is covered by transaction fees, but that is far from being true.

https://bitcoinfees.info/

Conclusion: mining is getting more and more pointless and that is happening in furious pace!

No one can predict the future., the future holds so much possibilities for those who are positive thinkers and for those who sees positivity. Think of positive because we attract what we think of. For almost 10 years now bitcoin has proven is vitality and it has slowly but surely interwoven into the fabric of human life existence especially that we are now in the virtual world or internet. So i can see positive things in the coming years for the bitcoiners!
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: July 18, 2018, 07:54:27 AM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.
For me right now it might be an absurd idea that banks would intertain such especially that it is a threat to them the very existence of bitcoin is bad news to the banks but given the advent of our technology and the internet this is very possible to happened in the very near future!
13  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Digital Currency Take Over on: July 17, 2018, 03:39:03 PM
As we can see now everyone/every developed nation is moving towards digital currency. In your opinion how much time is required for digital currency to take over the current/existing market or it is impossible that digitisation will never be successful. If yes what are those factors ? In my opinion those countries which are not accepting digital currency, are doing wrong. They are only thinking about the tax. They are saying that we will not get any tax and digital currencies are fake. Fraud is very easy in digital world (that is true but it also happen in every market). Although when someone is doing business in digital currency then that person is bringing money to country that is beneficial for the country...
This is this might be the greatest invention of our century and with the technology that we have right now it will have a big possiblity to take over the current fiat money.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoins price is falling. on: July 17, 2018, 03:29:52 PM
Bitcoins price is greatly decreasing right now would it affect the price of other coins if this continuous?
Yes it does, and this is normal in the cryptocurrency world. The resistance is showed for the past years is strong reason for us to believe it can recover like it always does.
15  Other / Archival / Re: How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic? ✅ on: July 15, 2018, 03:29:13 PM
Some people are asking, "How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic?"

I think this is the right answer. Bitcoin has become a currency for a nation that is currently supporting all kinds of people. Bitcoin has become as an international currency at this point. Once again, technologies help the world to solve its problems. This can raise Bitcoin reputation among economic discussions. And also will give positive mood to Bitcoin markets.

It makes the digital world which is the big thing right now all over the world more vital and interconnected to every human being. It is woven in the the very core of our daily routines and does making our lives easier and more comfortable.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does the bitcoin have a future? on: July 15, 2018, 03:27:10 PM
Dear friends! Let me remind you what is cryptocurrency is and what its purpose is. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency. The creator of bitcoin had the main goals of decentralization and lack of control by government. Today, all people are discreetly deceived. People are offered a chase for the US dollar. Speculators and ASIC manufacturers came to the world of cryptocurrency. They do not need a cryptocurrency. They need dollars here and now. They are old and they wouldn't like to eat own d***, you understand what I mean. People succumbed to the chase to the dollar. Bitcoin is manipulated. This is a well-known fact. We must admit this. Manipulation began with the appearance of the first ASICs. Let's admit the bitcoin is centralized. Like LTC, BCH and other ASIC-addicted coins. Today number of largest holders of bitcoin is small. And they manipulate the market.

Why banking corporations will never accept Bitcoin and you will never get payment gateway all-in-one?

Banking corporations are organizations that play an important role in the economy of states. People often blame banks for various troubles. Often this happens erroneously. Banking corporations are interested in cryptocurrency. But this should be money not dependent on a limited number of people. You want to create a currency and banks must accept it. This will not happen until the banks are equal players.
You want decentralization. You are talking about decentralization. Decentralization is good. But you do not do anything for it. Let's remember the theft of ethereum. One person made changes to the network with his decision. It is unacceptable. For banks this is unacceptable. Unacceptable theft, change of the network by one man is unacceptable, too.
Tomorrow, the largest bitcoin holders will arrange a price collusion. Who will suffer in the first place? You will suffer first of all. And who will be accused? The banking system will be blamed as usual.
No one banker will say this in an interview on TV and even in a private conversation. But it is so.
The banking system, business and society need an independent currency. A currency that will vehemently resist any attempts at centralization. You must understand this. Ideally, this currency should be independent of people, but people should serve it.
Banks have tried to develop such a currency. It did not work. This is inappropriate to do the banks for various reasons.
The decision must be made by society. By you. Banks can accept a fair and maximally decentralized cryptocurrency. But banks will never allow anyone to manipulate them.
Regards,

I think this question is out of place. Simple because bitcoin IS the future nd given our technology this simply means that this will rise above all othef cryptocurrencies and even tye current currency.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is falling. So what? on: July 15, 2018, 03:24:18 PM
Bitcoin price is falling. So what?

Are we going to panic? Are we going to be scared? Are we going to seek answers that nobody can answer? If you are reading this thread, then you want some clarifications.
Of what? You want to feel relieved? No one can be sure as to when the price will go up again. But hey, we have been supporting bitcoin for a long time, right? Then why do we not support it in its downs? Why do we not be positive and optimistic? Why do we not spread positive vibes so people can be at ease and do another activity? Why do we always stressing ourselves with checking the price everyday? If we cannot support Bitcoin in its down, then why we support it in its ups?

Good people, let us stop getting frightened about this fall. If you truly believe in Bitcoin, then the price surely will go up. It is just a matter of patience.

Price Fall are common here in cryptocurrency so if you dont get used to it and play your cards safely this business is not for you.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going towards the dark on: July 14, 2018, 01:50:44 PM
Bitcoin prices are constantly decreasing. Its price has increased slightly a few days ago, but now it has decreased again. So, the bitcoin will be completely destroyed? If the predictions of different researchers will be wrong then..
What is the reason for lowering the price of Bitcoin?
For sure this is still temporary and the price will start to pump by sept. this year.  Once the breaking price is reach it would not be hard.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: July 10, 2018, 04:10:43 PM
Hi,

Just wondering if you guys will stay in crypto (aka hold or sell your BTC holdings) if the price does not recover.

Lets say we are still around 6k-7k by December 2018 => Will you wait it out or give up and say "OK, we had a nice ride but we are not going up again"?

What about if in 2019 price is still hovering around 6k-7k and there is no sign of recovery to 10k+ (or even a new ATH)
This is impossible to happens. But if it does not really recover, i think evetually all other cryptocurrencies will goes with it because bitcoin is the mother of all cryprocurrency. If I will stay?  i will stay and choose the best ICO i can play for the maintime and see how it goes but surely if i see a pattern of how bitcoin went out i will sure get out while i can. This is just to answer your Question but i believe this is far from happening.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and the ICO on: July 10, 2018, 04:07:17 PM
the huge amounts of new ICOS that arise every month could be hurting the price of bitcoin? you who think about the ICO?
Well i dont think the same, bitcoin continues to dominate the cryptocurrency industry, if and so the rice drops at bitcoin the ICO are good divertion though so it works just fine to me.
