81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Revolution of the Digital Economy: Bitcoin, Ethereum and Others... on: June 07, 2018, 06:19:59 PM
I truly believe cryptocurrencies and blockchain as emerging economic instruments and technologies are far beyond what speculations alone can handle or dictate, there's more to this innovation, and clearly, after nearly a decade we are still yet to recover from the huge rift caused by bitcoin; and now, more disruptive subsequent technologies that follow are even more daunting.

But with Bitcoin and Ethereum showing two distinct timelines in how to handle decentralised assets, which one would you consider as having more valuable penetrating economic potential with respect to mainstream adoption?

Share your views.
Both are actually helping the economy of those countries that are open to it. Actually cryptocurrency has help alot in the world's financial market no matter how others sees it as a fraud or thinks of it negatively.  bitcoin has made a lot of self made millionares in a matter of year.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it true bitcoin will fall to the leve of $1800 or $1500 ? on: June 06, 2018, 04:16:41 PM
Some experts who says bitcoin to completely crash is it true ? One of the reason said is virtual currency having no physical form and at least no transferable physically can not be recognized by  retail public users.
dont believe everything you hear, if you would do that you will only fail here in cryptocurrency business. Everything that you hear is all speculations.  No one as nobody can predict what will be the price in the coming times.  But i am pretty sure the price will rise when we least expect it.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: The whole market is experiencing slump in last few days. on: June 05, 2018, 03:01:09 PM
Yes, we all have seen some kind of drastic price fall from last few days. As a feature of financial instrument I think this is not so unnatural. And so I do believe it will be back shortly. Your opinion will be highly appreciated.
Yes, we are experiencing a price fall and many are getting worried and again the people who are against bitcoin are taking the opportunity again to make negative comments such as bitcoin is going to fade and it will die soon. Only a fool will listen to this negative comments that they are making but then again this has an effect to many investors especially the new ones.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becomes harder and harder to hold on... on: June 05, 2018, 09:38:25 AM
The situation has been tough in the market for some time, as the downward trend has been continuing for a long time, so not many people can make profit in the market now. A lot of people have been holding and it is getting harder day by day.
True, every passing day is like a scrouching fire especially for those who are loosing their capital...Right now everybody is actually feeling low and its really rough. Eventhough I still hold on and I believe we can still see better days soon.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Not a good time to buy, according to this source on: June 04, 2018, 05:45:34 PM
Do you guys agree that now is not a good time to buy ?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/pro-btc-wall-st-analyst-urges-not-to-buy-crypto-now-despite-recent-rally

I think his argument regarding engagements is not a good reason, because if we have high engagement , then the prices will be higher. So the best time to buy is when we have good signals, and I think we have such indicatives now.

So, what do you guys think? Is really not a good to buy?
I believe in every investment there is an entailed risk the investor has to take, and if your not willing to take this risk you might not get to what you have been expecting. Actually others may see the situation right now as an opportunity to invest. What ever it is, the final say is your personal decision. Those who believed in bitcoin in its infancy stage has proven that taking risks gives the chance to reach success.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin market going to collapse? on: June 04, 2018, 04:10:54 PM
My opinion is that in time Bitcoin market share will keep reducing, as many other coins and tokens and platforms will keep surging.

In the long term, the blockchain technology is very disruptive. Bitcoin will more likely compete with Gold, Ethereum will provide a backbone for many uses.

So I am not really sure a collapse is incoming, it depends if a real bubble will quickly form.
With the recent price decreases it is common reaction of people getting worried and thinks that bitcoin will colapse.  Time and time again there has been deep falls with bitcoin this is commonly experience by the pioneers of these cryptocurrency but then again just when people think it will hit rock bottom it skyrocketted leaving the skiptics in awe. So just hold on we will see better days soon.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: for price speculation bitcoin lost a lot of attraction on: June 02, 2018, 05:09:30 PM
just check ccn page https://www.ccn.com/

there are regualirily coins that rise or dump much more than bitcoin.

today for example

TOP GAINER
WNET
WAVESNODE.NET
+392.08%
$0.03

can you imagine that that some altcoins do 400% in one day? Shocked Shocked

with bitcoin you have almost no changes anymore its either as boring as the stocks or slowly dying the exciting market with the huge growths are the alts.

this topic will of course piss of many bitcoin fanatics...

yes, true there is a sense in what you are sharing but people has different mindsets. There are people who are willing to wait and people who sees the sun even in the rain. We have seen better days of bitcoin now is not a good time but i sure think it can recover soon.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have mechanism to recover stolen or lost bitcoin? on: June 02, 2018, 03:15:55 PM
In case someone stole your bitcoin or you lost it, you won't be able to get it back.
Is this true?

What are your knowledges about this?
Once your bitcoin get stolen it is erretrievable. That is why you have to be very careful with your private keys. Even if the block chain technology is keeping tract of every transaction made in bitcoin but it does not keep tract of the identity and personal details of whoever is doing the transactions so there is no way  to get back on whosever is the culprit. So just be careful in doing your bitcoin transactions whom to accept in electronic communication for all you know its just a trap to get you scammed.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current status of the crypto market on: June 02, 2018, 03:51:13 AM
Now crypto market is little bit down. I think next support for bitcoin will be 6000 and then go up to 1000 but the only thing we can do at this moment is just watch.
Many are speculating that the current market situation for the cryptocurrencies specially bitcoin is unstsble and are being manipulated.  If only those greedy investors will stop doing this we could really see the real growth and capacity of bitcoin. But people are simply greedy and will do anything it takes to outwit and accomulate everything he can grab. Truely man has no satisfaction only greed and dark character.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH on: June 02, 2018, 03:23:23 AM
In my time on BCT my opinion is that the negativity towards bitcoin is at an ATH.
The amount of threads spreading FUD and negativity are growing the longer
bitcoin fails to deliver the great expectations of some people.

It seems to me that the fact bitcoin reached $20k there are people acting like
spoiled children who demand their wants immediately and so are willing to throw
the toy out or smash the sand castle because their wills are not met now.

There are times when we need to visit the whitepaper to realise what it was all
invented for and to have patience.

https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf
If only possible, what we need is not price increase but to eliminate those vultures greedy cheaters  those who created false price increase so that the market of cryptocurrency will bloom by its own true capacity and not the false promises.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: General Publics Perception of Bitcoin? What are your experiences? on: June 01, 2018, 10:37:15 AM
What is your experience with the average Joe and Bitcoin? When I talk with the average user about Bitcoin, I usually get a variation of these three responses:

"Bitcoin? Isn't that stock crashing and becoming worthless?"

"Bitcoin is a scam and the government will shut it down. It will die soon, no way the federal reserve will let it be worth more than the dollar."

"Yeah, i've heard of Bitcoin. I like pokemon cards better though. I used to like and collect Pogs."

99% of the non-crypto users I speak with say something to that effect. How can we change their perception of Bitcoin? Is it even possible? I believe a lot of it has to do with just a general absence of knowledge when it comes to what bitcoin is.

What have you guys heard the public say about Bitcoin?

I myself was a skeptic of bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies., I had thoughs of getting scammed or being rubbed in my face but thanks to bitcointalk I have learned a lot from here and infact and starting to earn my free bitcoin/ satoshis and i am so happy about it because it is really true that we can earn from here without investing a big amount of money I just give my perseverance hardwork and a lot of patience!
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you recover from your loss in bitcoin investment? on: June 01, 2018, 10:27:55 AM
I know that not all the people out there had gain in bitcoin investment and some of them are losing their money and made a wrong decision which is to sell their bitcoin in low price. So their money was being compromised and that is unfortunate event for them to happen. However, i know that there are also smart people out there who are patiently waiting and now gaining in their loss since they had already the confidence on facing the challenges on. As we all know that all investment has its own risk and bitcoin is no exception for that. Somehow these smart people had already recovering their loss. I just want to figure how they manage to recover it from the fall down.
Yes you are right, but for those who has perseverance and industry will earn bitcoins freely without taking a cash out in your pocket you just join means of how to earn here at bitcoin talk. Join  bounty, signature campaigns or even sell your services on computer related abilities. This is how I started when I was new it would take a lot of hard works but it is worth it.
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Darkness Is Gradually Disappearing and Dawn Is Coming on: June 01, 2018, 10:12:08 AM
BTC ANALYSIS
At present, the average price of BTC is $7,500, it increased 0.56% today. BTC continued to oscillate around $7,400 today, and it eventually broke through $7500 at 8 UTC today. In my technical analysis, BTC is testing the resistance of the 10MA ($7,500). Once the price breaks through, next resistance level for BTC will be around $7,800. In the 4-hours KDJ, the J-line has risen to 102. The resistance of short-term rebound is still relatively large. So, we need to pay attention to the trend of the following 8 hours. If the price does not stabilize above $7400, it is very likely that BTC price will continue to touch the bottom of $7,000 this week.
However, combined with recent positive news, the bearish signal of BTC has gradually weakened. For example, the director of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television(SARFT) said that blockchain technology has brought unprecedented and profound reforms to the field of radio and television. In addition, The South Korean Grand Court admitted Bitcoin as an asset in its judgment nowadays.

EOS ANALYSIS
The EOS mainnet will be launched after 3 days. I look forward to the good performance of EOS and believe EOS can make higher highs. The price of EOS is $12.2 now, in my technical analysis, its resistance level is at $14.
Recently, there are too many news good or bad about EOS, so its price has been in turmoil. If you hold EOS, please pay attention to the recent news about EOS.

94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Giving Pledge on: June 01, 2018, 06:38:44 AM
Who will inherit your bitcoin? Would you die with all of them? A random thought came up: Is it possible to have an escrow to pass on the bitcoin we leave behind to the people we love, possibly charity? Since bitcoin is about empowerment, don't you think the holders of bitcoin can take after "The Giving Pledge" founded by Bill Gates? Is this "act of kindness" feasible so we can also help the poor should we die at any moment?
PS: I found this useful thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0 about escrows in this forum. Could such services be maximized towards the realization of the topic raised
Wow is this true?  i hope so!  but i dont think this is possible..because people are selfish and it hard to gain bitcoin profit and the risks are very high so I dont think those biggest share holders of bitcoin will even think about it. They have face so much risks of their money and those crocodiles will not be willing share the profits of their hard earned and gambled money.
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where's the bottom of this drop on: May 24, 2018, 11:23:11 AM
Anyone calling the bottom?  I can see this hitting 6500-7000 before reversing back to 9-10k, at this point I'm not sure if selling and re-buying on the following dip is best or if this will rally well past 10k.  getting antsy but being patient and adding on where I can.
Possibly around 6k to 5k bottom if for worst. But I'm  still hopefull that ot would not reach that drop to the bottom and will start to recover by the end of this month.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: is this right time to invest in BITCOIN..? on: May 23, 2018, 08:41:38 AM
The price of Bitcoin growing consistently from 2009 sum of people are very confuse to see the price of BTC that what is the right time to invest.
According to my opinion at this time price of Bitcoin in low position so you can invest.
What you think.
Yes, while the price is not that high yet. Once the price reaches to 10k  it would be more expensive and the risks becomes higher too..
97  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Know How Whales Sucking Us on: May 20, 2018, 03:23:39 PM
i think there are some whales who sucking us through bitcoin and that's why bitcoin not crossing 10k$ when bitcoin try to cross 10k$ than some whales come and suck top of bitcoin and go back and again wait when bitcoin try to cross 10k$ again and whales will come again

Example image

Yes possibly.., those who could do this are those share holders who has a great stake or bitcoin share..they can do it because they have a bigger share and just by creating a false pump or dump they can easily profit with their actions while other struggles to survive. Tssskkk...The vultures.
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin did hit $1m by mid-2020? on: May 20, 2018, 03:34:38 AM
Obviously if this happens, a lot of new millionaires, billionaires and maybe even trillionaires will be born. Do you think this would have a large impact on society? Would this cause nocoiners to become the new low class? Would prices of every day goods rise? Would Fiat currency even be worth anything? Or would we just have a lot of new money in an otherwise unchanged society?

(Hopefully) obviously, this post is purely hypothetical and in reference to John McAfee's prediction.
Year 2020 is a long way to go..a lot could happened in just a minute in the crytocurrency world. But i only hope the best for the years to come. No one can actually say for sure what will happened in the future  but I have positive thoughts in the coming years for this industry.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin market recovering ? on: May 19, 2018, 03:23:41 PM
after long time bitcoin price start to recover from last month hopefully it will contineu in possitive site
In the past day it went to drop to the disappointment and worry of many investors but for me that movement was just normal. Anyway today there was an improvement though, and even if many are pessimistic that we cant reach 10k this month is still believe it has a great possibility that it could!
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HONEST QUESTION: would YOU be tempted to manipulate BTC to make HUGE profits? on: May 19, 2018, 09:37:26 AM
You should learn to think differently.
If manipulating market prices can make you profitable, then why not? Roll Eyes
Im with you in this, yes if this is possible to manipulate the market to profit I will do it. This is always has been in the very competitive world investments..It is survival of the fittiest...
