That's not about a 'text' itself. You may use transaction or block hash as a private key (or as a text for sha256).
But of course do not expect anything.

Exactly. And having your own Electrum server you may use it not only with electrum, but also with Blue Wallet on your mobile, Trezor Suite etc.

By the way, how it would work, you expect to have a wallet connected to the node which keeps only blocks which contain data about your address? How about incoming transactions, do not you want to keep blocks which confirms validity of your inputs? How about the current state, if you want to create outgoing transaction you plan to keep the block and then download/ignore blocks which does not have information important for you?

It is just a RC1 so probably we will have to wait a bit longer for the final release, but it is good project is evolving. I am curious what we may expect in v 0.10, as it is no longer 0.9 patch.

Interesting. I wonder what is ROI, daily/weekly volume etc in case of BTC mixers and how it is related to the market cap. Entry threshold? Do these numbers make altcoins mixers unprofitable or there is just no need for them? BCH has around only 0.5% of BTC market capitalization, but is it the answer?

That's a good point. There is a similar problem with smartphones, especially android ones, where we have many producers and many OS versions, distributed by phone producer. Sooner or later they stop publishing a new OS updates, then users should think twice if still want to use banking app etc. on not-updated phone.

I do not recall any Electrum issues related to seed generation, so if you really want, you may use older version of the program. At the end all is about randomness and the result comes from Windows, not from Electrum itself.

So, you want to have a seed which produces “nice” address for a given derivation path.
Testing addresses on the path is quite “expensive” operation, so the whole process will be much slower (less efficient) than “normal” vanitygen.
But I understand your doubts, you consider testing different seeds or one seed and different passwords.

It is a bit complicated (https://stackoverflow.com/a/54815033) bit you may also use 128 bit type. Of course in terms of performance many depends on the CPU architecture and not always using 64 bit type could be faster than using 32 bit type - could be opposite if machine is 32bit.

Bitcoin core installation is not difficult, there are just a few parameters you may want to modify, so it is not very complicated. Having experience like you said, it will be easy.

Is there any other reason to buy FUN except freebitco bonuses? In other words - I do not think it has any value for traders (especially the price is quite stable).
