Haaland is very close to signing new contract with Manchester City although his previous contract will be expired on 2027 but Manchester City has decide to extended his contract and since arrived to Manchester City Haaland has scores a lot of goals with this team and he always became an top scorer and this season Haaland can scores 7 goals from 3 matches which he is on fire

Manchester City has just make good decision because Haaland is important player for them and according to the news at his new contract Haaland will have release clause 175 million and Manchester City also will make his as the highest paid player in this team

Source : https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13823961/amp/Erling-Haaland-Man-City-contract-Real-Madrid-release-clause.html
Erling Haaland since he arrived Manchester City have scored more goals than any European based footballer have managed so I think it's expected for Manchester City to table an offer for Haaland since they're very much aware that the Norwegian is attracting many top European clubs with his prolificity. The relationship between Erling Haaland and Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is in the best condition which is why the striker is always giving his best whenever he's representing the club so I expect him to easily agree for a contract extension with his club Manchester City.
This will be a good development for Manchester City as a club if the extension deal is closed but will be a bad one for other English Premier League clubs who'll be forced to continue facing the deadly striker for a longer period.

Man City have truly struck a diamond, and it wasn't in vain that they had to spend 150 million Euros to sign Haaland because it paid off handsomely. So it stands to reason if Man City offer Haaland a new contract (with the change in the release clause option) because they don't want to lose their goal machine. He has been the top scorer in two consecutive seasons, and it's likely he'll get it again this season as he's started the season so impressively.
Certainly Erling Haaland will renew his contract with Manchester City and I believe this time around with a review on increase in his weekly wages, the young man has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that his Worth that amount he was bought from Borussia Dortmund. Same thing I was complaining about Chelsea not breaking the bank to buy Victor osimhen, because hence you get this incredible players they will really help to improve the performance of your team. As it stands now in the English premier League, there is no striker that can match up the level of Erling Haaland especially on his goal scoring ability. Pep Guardiola really has the Eagles eyes on selecting players.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: September 09, 2024, 08:21:02 PM
Yeah, basically UEFA is getting inspired by Super League with this new format. But, the good thing is that no Champions League teams dropped to Europa after failing in the group stages. It means the competition in Europa league won't be diluted by the Champion leagues team.
The good news for the teams competing there will be much more excited to reach the end of the trophy because it is not overshadowed by teams that do not qualify for the group stage. This format also benefits the teams competing there so they can focus on facing teams that qualify from the beginning because we know that teams that do not qualify in the Champions League group stage are also strong.
That's on the positive side, while now there are quite a few players who disagree with the new format of the Champions League, one of them is Kevin De Bruyne because what UEFA is doing is increasing the schedule while attracting more sponsors and that means bringing in more money for them without paying attention to the condition of the players. They will be victims in this case risking everything with the risk of injury which is always not light.
Most players are already complaining about the number of matches they will be playing and I agree with them, considering that most of them have domestic League games and some other competitions that they engaging almost every week, take for instance the English premier league players, they have to play the FA cup and carabao cup plus international games they have to play for their countries, all of this most be put into consideration because this current champions League schedule will only lead them to fatigue. the schedule is too tight and should be reconsidered, players are humans and they need time to rest too.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2025 Qualifiers - CAF. on: September 09, 2024, 04:02:52 PM
It is nice to see Nigeria winning by 3 goals to nothing for Benin. However let's admit that Nigeria players are way better than Benin.
No one should even compare Super Eagles players with Benin players. We all know that Super Eagles have a better squad compared to Benin, just that the Super Eagles lack a talented coach who will be able to utilize the players that they are having, but I think their current coach is just better, so we should just expect improvement in their performance in the coming matches, and I don’t think any country should find it difficult for Super Eagles to win in their group, all the countries in their group are weak countries, so am expecting win from them in all their matches.

I don't feel super Eagles lack The talented coach who will be able to utilize the players just as if said, there is no doubt that we have fantastic players but the problem is how hungry are this players for success, we see that they don't put in the effort to show that they really want to succeed, that is why I always advocating for the mixture of some home based players and foreign based players so that you will see the hunger in the homebase players mixed with the experience of the foreign base players,

Augustine Eguavoen the current coach is one man with lot's of experience, he has been a one time super Eagles player, and has also coached on different stages with the Nigerian football federation, from the under17  team, under23 team  and super the Eagles, so for me he has the experience. The NFF has overtime refused to hire an experience local based coach, maybe they thing the services of a foreign coach is most preferable, so I feel at some point the NFF are the major problem we have when it comes to finding the lasting solution to a suitable coach for the super Eagles.

4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: September 09, 2024, 12:34:16 PM
Given we have a break in league games for the international games and there are no games to discuss this weekend, I'll ask a different question: do you guys see any potential dark horse this season, i.e. a team that people do not expect too much from, but can turn up surprising everyone e.g. by ending up in the top 4 etc?
Yes - they are Newcastle, Brighton and Aston Villa.
Manchester United and Chelsea are not underdogs - they are widely expected to finish in the top four and qualify for next season's Champions League. But either way - I can't possibly rule out Tottenham for a top 4 spot.

I have a favorite order and here is the list:
1. Manchester City
2. Liverpool
3. Arsenal
4. Tottenham
5. Chelsea
6. Brighton
7. Manchester United
8. Newcastle
9. Aston Villa
I doubt if Manchester united and Chelsea will finish at the top 4 position given the realities on ground, looking at their pattern of play from last season up until this season which is without much improvement, I doubt if both teams stand a chance of being at the top 4 at the end of the season. Of course they are not underdogs but they are among the average team who are struggling to be among the top 10.
I totally agree with your top 9 favorite order, except for the fact Newcastle would have gone up a little maybe replacing Brighton.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We don't know how to govern our lifes anymore it's time for goverment control on: September 07, 2024, 04:48:46 PM
We don't know how to govern us properly.
The economy is mess because of unequal wealth sharing and a lot greedy small business owners who take workers but they are not so wealthy as bigger companies so they try to pay low wages to workers to make themselfes rich.
So small business owners are biggest threat to society and second one are landlords of property they want too much profit but they don't contripute back in society nothing just holding wealth...but Even the money is your private the money is everybodys debt what we all are in together
Second group of people are landlords who happened to be lucky got Property and now they try to not work just making money out of others.
Not just in USA but everywhere else same problem so goverments not stay stand still but will take over now everything fully.
Anyways universal basic income coming because person who don't have job want to live good life same as person whos working.
Inequality doesnt do anything good in society becouse the money you have doesn't belong to you the wealth what you have belongs to everybody If person have money just on bank account or cash in home it doesn't serve common good of society.
Goverments will end now the economic indvidulism but will make more one center system.
Like Obama said the people can not govern themselfes.
But economicslly that's true that we have so much money in bank accounts and people have cash wich doesnt serve other people.
No reason to dream the private ownership Will end anyways.
I think they Will take all the wealth count it and then equal distribution.
But why you need to own your House or car? If it will be tokenized and on blockchain so you can buy the tokens and those tokens Are like shares of your assets you don't need to own exacly assets you can have tokens of your assets.
We been living law of jungle not the rule of men.
OP we know how to govern ourselves very well and perhaps government policies are the policies business owners used to pay their workers. Take for instance a worker who works with a small business just as you've said, the business owner pays the worker minimum wage, and it is assumed that with that minimum wage the worker can sustain himself, so the small business owner is not a threat, that's because he's still pays within the required regulations of the law, so perhaps when the government is making policies, they are making policies for the protection of business owners and even for those working within.

Right from Inception and from history we have read, wealth sharing has never been equal amongst mankind, people strive to survive based on ideas they have and how to put things together so that they can get an edge on how to make money or create wealth for themselves.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For those of you that like trading bitcoin physically, learn the usual lesson on: September 07, 2024, 02:43:54 PM
This is not about bitcoin but USDT but it is a lesson for those people that like to trade their coins physically. Such people do not like themselves at all. It can lead to attack.

The guy met the USDT seller on Telegram. What!!! Telegram that is full of scammers. He said he had no choice because the guy was the only one that reached out to him. The plan was to meet at a public mall but the USDT seller changed the location and he accepted. The new location is a car park where he was attacked.

Mothership reports that the teenager, known only as ‘ZK,’ was attacked by the men after meeting the crypto seller in a car park on August 29.

As the deal was going down, ZK claimed that the men, looking like “regular pedestrians,” passed by before one of them punched him across his left cheek.

Afraid that the men were trying to steal his cash, ZK says he bolted to the nearest mall and shouted for help. They allegedly chased after him, but ZK says he managed to outrun them and report the incident to police.

Offline USDT sale abandoned after buyer gets punched in face
Why would anyone do that in the first place, first thing first, there are centralized exchanges you can sell your Bitcoin to get USDT instead of looking for a physical merchant. However if the person has been selling his Bitcoin physically to a merchant and he notices that there is a change in location from the initial agreed location, his instinct would have told him that something suspicious will happen. He was even lucky for trying to outrun his attackers because if they had caught him, they definitely would have collected everything he was carrying. the whole idea of meeting physically was ill conceived and shouldn't be encouraged.

https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/what-echo-learned-mohamed-salah-29869842

There are lots of news saying that Liverpool is preparing to extend Salah's contract.  Smiley  This is great to hear honestly. It is a big privilege to watch a player like him in the Premier League. He is still performing amazingly. Liverpool clearly needs him.

Maybe you will say he is getting old but this doesn't affect his performance negatively. Special players generally show this to us. I hope he doesn't go to Saudi Arabia next summer. His current contract ends by that time.

Salah doesn't look unhappy either. He is just enjoying his game. It seems like he doesn't have any problems with Arne Slot too.
Mo Salah current age is 33 years old but as a Liverpool fans i wanted to see him to stayed with Liverpool for at least 2 or 3 season again because i have to says Liverpool is still needed him and it's hard to find the replacement of him if Salah is really has decide to leave next summer but i have been attempts to discuss about this before because in Liverpool there are 3 key players from them which their contract will be expired next season such as Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mo Salah so Liverpool have to working fast to give these players contract extension

Indeed according to the latest news about this rumour whether it Mo Salah and Liverpool still under negotiation to talking about new contract and hopefully this will be working well and Mo Salah will signing new contract with Liverpool and stayed much longer at this team
Actually you are very much correct on this, Mo Salah is actually a very good player and if for any reason Liverpool let him go without renewing his contract at the club, they are definitely going to feel the effects in their squad, because in as much as he is 33 years old of age, he isn't playing as a 33 years old, he still carry the same goal threat as he is actually known for, so it would definitely be a very good decision if his services can be secured in the next 2 season.

Then talking of Virgil van dijk and Alexander Arnold, it would be terribly wrong if their services is not retained because I believe that they are one of the most important players Liverpool have in their ranks, so it would actually be a logical decision to extend their contract like 3 more season and above for both players, that's my  opinion though.

Considering the age of Mo Salah which is 33 years, some strikers decline as age approaches, and i feel Liverpool are just thinking ahead of time, so that they won't be caught in the web whereby mo Salah might be facing a decline and they don't have a replacement. since it's not looking like Liverpool will be extending his contract, it simply means they are silently chopping for replacement in the near future.

As for Alexander Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk, they are integral part of the midfield and the defence, so i agree with you that Liverpool will be making a terrible mistake if they don't extend their contract.

No one doubts that Arteta can present the PL trophy for Arsenal if they can continue to consistently improve the team's performance throughout this season, I'm sure it will happen because we can see in the last 2 seasons that Arteta has always been able to make Arsenal's team performance development even better, for this season too.

Building a team is not easy, everything takes time and process and what Arteta has been through with Arsenal so far is clear evidence that they are on the right track.
I have no doubt that this can continue to be maintained, I even speculate that Arteta can bring Arsenal to win the title this season.
Until the last season, Arsenal with Arteta was progressing, they were even able to avoid the usual decline, but it was still not enough to become champions, and statistically they were assessed as one of the strongest teams in the Premier League. But Guardiola managed to create a winning mentality in City and it will be very difficult to break it, besides, I understand that the selection of players in City is stronger, I do not want to say that Arsenal is much inferior, but in my opinion there is a difference.
One of the most unique thing with Manchester City is the availability of individual brilliance for each of the wings, take Jeremy Doku for instance, he is one player that can drive the ball from the wing, move it forward towards the goal mouth of the opponent and cause havoc, Jack Grealish can do the same thing but doku does it better, same thing on the central midfield with Kevin De Bruyne, he is an incredible individual that can make an impactful difference in a game and this same applies to Haaland as well upfront, so you see that Manchester City have individual players that make the difference for them at different angles. Arsenal on the other hand play with a combined effort of teamwork, which to a large extent has been working perfectly for them but they can spice it up by getting individual players just the way they recently got Raheem Sterling to help make individual brilliance in contribution to the teams effort, this will actually help them to stand strong and be unique.
9  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Dangote refinery begins production of PMS. on: September 06, 2024, 10:07:27 PM
Yes, it will definitely reduce the price of fuel, inflation in the country  because Dangote will make sure he reduce the price of the market for the fuel to be surplus within the country for people to test the quality of their products, I discovered that Dangote has make the price of diesel to reduced since he started producing diesel, which is the fear of NNPC managements not to allow Dangote refinery to start producing fuel yet because they know that it will expose so many things in that NNPC, and many people in the NNPC managements will go to prison for the corruption in that sector, I believe the federal government will instruct NNPC to supply Dangote crude oil and also permit Dangote to distribute fuel to every part of the world, because without NNPC permit Dangote to distribute fuel, there is no way this refinery can be  a benefits to our country.
Don't even think about price reduction in the petroleum section, the NNPC are the one to give Dangote the price which he will sell the products. However as at today, there are news already circulating on the mainstream media that, NNPC has officially increased the price of PMS to 850 Naira per litre. also the capacity of Dangote refinery alone cannot supply enough PMS for the entire country, we still need both the port Harcourt refinery and that of warri to be fully functional before we can have surplus supplies within the country, else we will be battling price continuously with independent marketers because they are the one's that bring in this refined product to the country. Nobody will go to prison in NNPC because they are the cabals in charge of this current adminstration.
In the end, the fuel price hasn't been reduced as we Nigerians anticipated. Currently, Nigerians are buying fuel at the rate of 1200naira to 1500naira. So, nothing wey don change for the price of fuel despite the Dangote refinery operation.

For this our country, na from fuel wey our presidents the siphon countries money wella. Buhari was petroleum minister for 8 years. Tinubu don become em own by removing fuel subsidy wey other Nigeria president no fit remove.

There is news that, NNPCL don transfer ownership to Tinubu nephew.

With this kind development, the price of fuel products dey under Tinubu nephew hand. Em go decide at what rate the fuel price will be sold to all Nigeria's by Dangote refinery and other subsequent refinery wey go open. At the end of this, nothing wey change. The suffering continues. The Tinubu government still d in charge
That's exactly what I was saying, that the price cannot remain the same especially from the explanation NNPCL and those in leadership are telling us, because from the explanation NNPCL said the price of petrol will be determined by the market forces, which means they don't have a definite say of what the amount should be because of the landing cost marketers incure. Dangote hands are tied as he cannot go against the price government wants. Of course even with the refinery Dangote has suffered to build nothing had changed, given this particular policies they are bringing.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025 on: September 06, 2024, 09:28:34 PM
After watching the way how opponents score goals against Manchester United for the past few seasons ever since Erik ten Hag took over the team as manager, I am starting to wonder how much time does Erik ten Hag needs to improve the defense of his team as Manchester United had already lost 2 games out of 3 games played and Liverpool truly makes it looks so easy to beat Manchester United at the stadium of Old Trafford by scoring 3 goals. I guess it will take a long time for Manchester United to make the stadium of Old Trafford to became a solid fortress again.
It must be admitted that Man United defense is quite weak and the players he just bought did not contribute much, including those who were busy enjoying their injury period. Meanwhile Liverpool in terms of squad depth seemed to be given a treat seeing Man United weaknesses. So actually if Liverpool maximized their performance, more goals would be scored. Arne Slot did not want to rush so he just locked in 3 points without giving Man United a chance to score a goal in return. I'm sure Mo Salah and Diaz are still not satisfied with scoring goals. No matter what, this is the true quality of Erik Ten Hag, no matter how great the players he bought when in his hands will be dull and useless.

It seems Salah wants to stay in Liverpool for a long time and this can be good news for Liverpool because of having this player for a longer time.
We recently saw news about Salah leaving Liverpool for the Saudi League because of the better money he could get there and he could end his career in this league but he decided to stay in the Premier League and keep playing for Liverpool. After Liverpool won the game against Manchester United, Salah said they didn't try to expect the contract of him in Liverpool and he was unhappy because of this. Which shows he wanted to stay there even for a longer time.

If Liverpool is not extending his contract it then means maybe they wants him to go. If I was in salah's shoes I wouldn't hesitate to live, at least he has created a good memory and  has achieved a lot for himself with Liverpool, if by January transfer window an opportunity comes for him go to Saudi then he should go, although I deduce that from his statement that he wants to still stay with the REDS, moreover there is no doubt that he still has the fire power within him to still score more goals for Liverpool but given the circumstances at hand, he shouldn't wait until they get a replacement for him before he makes a move.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the problems of wealthy people and what they want on: September 06, 2024, 07:56:49 PM
They want more time and to live longer.
There is only limited time so they have to sleep as well.
What the rich ones like the top wealthy ones want is economy and world works automatically and AI robots will be watching and organizing everything the most of the economy.
Because life is short and there is a lot to do good things to do to enjoy life.
The weatly ones just want to be busy with enjoy the life and earn income with AI they can do this.
Wealthy people want to be busy going to gym visiting art gallery wine and dining drving with some sport cars meeting with all the nice and optimistic good people sharing the good emotions humour and fun so it all takes time that's why the money should come in automatically.
Rich don't want to think about even how or from where the money come for them it just must be enough without even think about it they have a lot of things to do because there a lot ways to enjoy life and there is so many different ways to explore to enjoy life.
The rich in our society live in luxury no doubt, but trust me they are one of the people with the most busiest schedule you can ever think of, they work hard to maintain their wealth, they don't take in to too much pleasure as your portraying them to be because most of them are very serious minded with less side attractions and aesthetics.

Of course outside the wealthy people, every other person would like to hit the gym, go for vacation, and enjoy the best life can give, so for me is not only the rich guys that desire all of these, most human beings do desire them but some persons don't have either the financing or the wherewithal to live that kind of life, so it's looking like the rich persons are living the lives other people dream of.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who makes a country what it his?The Leaders or the led? on: September 06, 2024, 03:29:18 PM
If an economy is bad it's assumed that it's because the leaders of the country do not set right economic policies in place.

If a nation is at war it's assumed that it's because of the decision of the leaders.

If the educational system is faulty it's assumed that it's because of the decision of the leaders and even when a country is doing well in the global stage in sports, academics and other areas, it's still all about the leaders.

Is it the leaders of a country that makes them good, bad, at peace or in war? Or is it the led who are the majority that determines what becomes of a nation.

Ordinarily it will be assumed that the leaders are the ones that should be held responsible for any of the infractions that is affecting any nation, but in real sense the followers or those been lead are actually to be held responsible, the reason is, they are the ones who elected the leaders, so it is assume that for any decision that the leaders take, is as a result of what their followers must have told them or in the interest of those of them who elected them. However a part of me still feels the blame should be for both sides, because those bad economic policies wouldn't be taken by those leaders if they weren't elected by the citizens.
So if the citizens feel the leaders are not doing what they where elected to do, then they should wait for the next election circle and vote them out.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025 on: September 05, 2024, 07:15:27 PM
If the error area has been detected well by the Manchester United team management this season, of course the team management can make a wiser plan for team coaching where they have to prepare another coach before the Manchester United team gets worse after this season is over. Because bad tactics will not make the team develop well even though there are good players in it, but if the placement is not good enough, of course it will not produce better results for the team. That is why it is very important to have a reliable coach who is rich in tactics in order to continue to compete every season with any rivals.
It is not easy to prepare a new coach, while Erik Ten Hag is still under a contract that has just started but if Man United dares to take risks then they can fire Ten Hag at any time of course on the grounds that the team continues to lose.

So far the players are less solid, while Erik Ten Hag's tactics are still chaotic it is not effective to win with low opponents even though it means that until now Ten Hag still cannot restore confidence in the players so that his play continues to be bad.

There will be many things and reasons that will be taken into consideration when deciding to change coaches (especially to replace Ten Hag) because Ten Hag has brought so many players with him and the majority of them are his acquaintances and are his favorites. So when the new coach comes in, he might not fit in with Ten Hag's legacy, and if it is decided that there will be another change, it will obviously cost a lot of money.

What I see is that what Man United expects with Ten Hag cannot be achieved quickly and instantly. What is clear is that it is not only the new people who have to adapt, but the old players also need to do it too (the story would be different if only 1 or 2 new players came).
With the results so far with Erik ten hag, I think Manchester united fans should just accept the reality that the glory days are not coming anytime soon especially with Ten hag in charge, I remember when Cristiano Ronaldo was complaining about his short comings as a manager the last time he was with the team, most persons didn't agree with his remarks on Ten hag, but his inconsistency in his results is sort of proving Ronaldo right.

The Manchester united board on one hand are not ready to change Ten hag, from the news I've read, they are comfortable with his performance but these comfort is not to the satisfaction of the fans and supporters who are clamouring for a change in the managerial role of the team.
It doesn't matter the kind of players Ten hag has brought to the team, a new coach can always inherit players from the previous coach and still work on to improve with what he has on ground.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever withdrawn winnings from a casino using only your welcome bonus? on: September 05, 2024, 02:15:20 PM
Personally, I couldn’t win anything with my welcome bonus, but it was a good chance to explore the platform. I know, it’s mostly about luck, but I feel impressed when I heard someone managed to withdraw winnings using just the registration bonus. Is that even possible? Most casinos have minimum wagering requirements (which I think is fair), so keeping your balance and cashing out can be quite challenging.

Well! how about you? Have you ever managed to withdraw winnings without making a deposit? Is yes! Did you use any special technique besides luck? (Feel free to share the amount you won if you’re comfortable.) Your experience could be helpful to others.

P.S.: No need to mention the name of your casino—this post isn’t for promotional purposes. Thanks!
I think most of the gambling site gives you those bonuses with the option of using the bonus to play one to two times with a particular amount of odds, that is rolling over your winning for two times with the same amount of odd, and if your successful with your wings then they now allow you to make withdrawals, else it is almost impossible for you to withdraw only the bonus without using it to stake or using to stake only once, However the percentage of persons that have been able to use the bonuses to stake one to two times and succeed are not much and that is why it looks as if People don't succeed in withdrawing their bonuses.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: We care about the economy, but we can't change its direction on: September 05, 2024, 01:53:52 PM
Almost everyone is concerned about the economy: prices, housing, wages, stock market fluctuations… Yet, despite our intense focus on these issues, as ordinary individuals, it seems like we can't make a dent in them. Economic policies, global markets, and decisions made by big companies often dictate the direction of the economy, and we can only passively accept it.

But does this mean we’re truly powerless? Do you think there are ways we can influence the economy, even if just on a small scale? Or are we simply left to protect ourselves and make adjustments within this system?
We genuinely care about the prices of of wages, housing, stock market fluctuation and the general price of goods and services in our economy because it affects us directly. The question of if we are powerless, let's get it clear, the Government are the ones that collect revenue on our behalf, they generate income from our tax, they do that because it's believe those money are meant to use and run the system effectively, so that housing and goods and services can be affordable for the citizens.

Now when the government refuses to play her own part, it then means there is a breach of agreement on the side of the government on not fulfilling her part, so in a bid to show to the government that they are not being proactive to our plight, is either we protest or we wait till election comes we vote them out, to vote in leaders that will help solve our problems. In doing so it has shown that the office of the citizen is not powerless but one of the most powerful office you can occupy.
16  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Social religious values and economic progress on: September 04, 2024, 10:55:30 PM
Ideological differences are normal behavior for a nation that state authorities are rigidly or flexibly controlling. The lowest level of ethnic ties in a country is the society. The stronger the religious values of the people of that society, the stronger the bond between the people of a country and the patriotism between them can be more intense and patriotism is most important for the overall development of a country. Religious freedom of a country can create a peaceful environment among the people of that country which is essential for the economic progress of the country as a whole.

What is your opinion?
Sometimes religious values doesn't equate good economy and Nigeria is a typical example. Nigeria is one country with a high religious followership, there is literally no Nigerian that doesn't believe in one religion or the other, from the president, to the governor's and LGA chairmen all belongs to one religion or the other.

However this has not helped to build a sustainable economy for the country. in building a country, you need strong institutions and laws to guide the society of any country, if you check in the world, there is no country that is great economically based on religion values alone, what has made them to be strong economically has been policies of government that has been followed over time.

So if we want to improve our economy, we need to have instant laws and strong institutions like the judiciary, the police, civil service system that is not corrupt and the law enforcement agents in general to do their work diligently, that way we can build our economy.

The average gambler or not thinks that Arsenal is the favorite in this match to win, but in fact Arsenal almost lost. Brighton's revival in the second half made it difficult for Arsenal to maintain their lead, especially when they had to play with 10 men. It's not bad, but at least the draw has hurt most of the gamblers who bet on Arsenal.

After the break ends, we will wait for another exciting match involving Arsenal and Tottenham. Arsenal is playing away from home and it is very possible that this will not be an easy match either. Tottenham, who previously lost, must try to recover and improve their performance, so Arsenal must be careful considering the tension of the London derby is very tense.
We all know that Arsenal has a good defence in their performance this season, and they are trying their possible best to see if they made it to the trophy, so I see no point that will make you doubt about their performance and even think it will be very hard for them to overcome Tottenham. We all know that Tottenham are also strong teams, and they are playing a home game, but that doesn’t still mean Arsenal will lose the game.

Furthermore, the game Arsenal played against Brighton Arsenal was strong at the start until they got their red card and played the game of 10. That is when they became weak and almost lost the game, so that doesn’t still mean they are weak because they were still able to maintain the game on a draw.
I certainly agree with you, though Tottenham are the home team here, at least there will be some sprinkle of home advantage though might not be too  effective because they are playing against arsenal, and arsenal are very good in their Central midfield and defensive, that is why it's always easy for them to create an attack because they always have a balance on the midfield, the only thing they've been lacking is a finisher because obviously Gabriel Jesus is not really giving them what they want, but they  have Raheem sterling now to help out on the front line attack, so I'm thinking it might either be a draw or a straight win for arsenal on that supper Sunday.

I still can't believe how this is happening right now. But it is.  Grin  As he couldn't reach an agreement with Al-Ahli, this was the only option left for him. Otherwise he was going to be left out of squad for certain.
Everything is possible, dude.  Grin
Al Ahli almost signed him but Napoli suddenly wants higher transfer fees. I can understand if Al Ahli decided to reject it, Napoli reneged on the negotiation. It burdens Al Ahli, Osimhen's value becomes too overprice. Another reason is about the high salary asked by Osimhen. Not sure why Osimhen becomes too greedy with the money, he may assume he deserves it.

I really appreciate Galatasaray on this agreement. It is a very smart move. They were criticized because of not being active enough in the transfer market this summer. But now they are about to make a really huge signing...
Galatasaray probably monitored the situation of Osimhen. They may realize that Osimhen has no choice anymore, so Galatasaray is trying to sign him now. Napoli also seems to agree because there are no more teams to negotiate for Osimhen. However, I'm not sure if Osimhen is ready to accept low salary there. I guess Galatasaray should pay a lot for the salary of Osimhen. But if Osimhen can play well, it is not a problem for Galatasaray.

I think that with the coming season it is important for him to work not for his salary but for his playing practice and improving his skills, because maybe it will be difficult for him to come back from Turkish league to Europe. I don't think it's a good plan to go there on loan, but he really doesn't have any more options, so it's better that way than him not playing for a season at all
It will be the most foolish thing If Osimhen do not agree to the terms of Galatasaray, in this he has been placed with the best opportunity of taking him out of being idle and benched in a team where he was once the big bird. Osimhen did so much for Napoli, everyone saw his influence as the top striker for the team even scoring both unbelievable goals and at last being treated like one average player, I hope Lukaku becomes the better version of Osimhen or nothing will be different from what they did to Osimhen also happen to him.

Osimhen can still have a move to the Premier League or any other competitive one if only he can work on his ratings, once he becomes the topic of discussion based on his outstanding contribution to his new team then he can raise every possibility of having the option of moving to the Premier league.

Osimhen moving to Galatasaray was one thing I was not expecting to see from this player and Napoli. Osimhen was one of the best players on his team he had a good enough performance to help Napoli win the title in the past but he wanted to leave Napoli for teams like PSG and Chelsea but since his offers were not good enough he decided to stay and this made Napoli unhappy that's why Conte said he doesn't need Osimhen anymore.
Not it seems he joined Galatasaray and he is going to play here for loan.

The thing is, victor osimhen and Napoli had already had a fall out since before the end of last season, there was a crack in the wall between both parties before Conte came into the picture. Napoli had already blacklisted osimhen, so Conte was just only doing his job by letting the world know the position of the club on victor osimhen.
So because of the fracas osimhen has with, it was rumoured that the Napoli side scuttled his move for both PSG and the Saudi team that came, just in a bid to show their might, but allowed him for Chelsea deal that had wage cut and osimhen rejected that deal basically because of the pay cut.

So the Galatasaray deal is a bit fair compared to that of Chelsea even though it was still on a loan move, which a lot of people had argued that osimhen was big for a loan move, but however at least he'll be playing football again for the next 6 months instead of waiting and being out of play which Napoli wanted to place on him.

I ask this question because in my city I've seen some bergers that gambles and I've often wondered why they do so. I know that people give bergers and destitutes money to eat and take care of their other basic needs like soap to bath and medicine Incase they don't feel well. And seeing them in lotto kiosks that are very rampant in the cities to bet makes me to wonder if it's not misplaced priorities for them.

I understand that most poor people are looking for shortcuts to riches and they see gambling as a get rich quick scheme. But most of them are ignorant of the house edge over gamblers and it means that winning is not easy.

I believe that bergers don't gamble for fun. So do you think that it's because they feel that they don't have anything to loose and somebody will still give them money if they lose? How will you feel if you see a berger that you just gave your hard earned money using it to gamble?
Of course i don't see anything wrong for the beggars not to gamble, at least if not for anything but for the change of his/her fortune, he cannot continue to be begging all his life, so if he gambles and he runs into luck and wins something handsomely, then he will definitely not be needing handouts from people before he eats, or gets anything that is of priority to him, so for me it's not misplaced priority, the only way i can frown at it is when the beggar becomes chronic gambler,  because i do not support that, I always advocate for a healthy gambling lifestyle.

20  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich and the poor who spend the most on luxury? on: September 04, 2024, 03:05:34 PM

As I was scrolling through my Facebook I saw this photo and how the image discribes the poor to be a kind of people that wears expensive thing to impress people to look like the rich, and the other way round, the rich appears to be simple probably not to be noticed as a rich person. My question now is that,

Does wearing of expensive cloths, shoes and other expensive things a sign of being poor? Or does it mean the rich doesn't wear expensive things or doesn't leave a luxurious lifestyle?
In the context of this photo you posted, it's just obvious that the poor guy just wants to appear rich, while the rich guy wants to appear simple without too much attention on him. However in a real life situation that is outside the context of this photo, rich people are the ones that are endowed into luxury, from the beautiful gardens in the castle they live as houses, to the kind of cars they drive, to scent of their environs are all in luxury.

There are rich and influential people that sometimes wants to appear simple by wearing simple clothes in the public, whereas there are also some rich persons that do come out to the public appearing very rich based on what they are wearing and the kind of car they are driving, it's just individual differences. So in answering your question OP, your physical appearance and how you look does not always represent how rich you are.
