lul that gave me a good laugh. in 2017 he posted videos also on mining as did a lot of tech channels. titles were stuff like Is is too late to mine ? Or, Is it still profitable to mine ? etc etc etc always the same ol story
I also remember in 2017 there was another YouTube channel which was geared towards Automotive content. Basically it was some 16 year old kid driving around in a Lambo and showing off his vehicles, called JR garage or something. Icing on the cake was when all of a sudden his channel took a drastic turn from automotive content into financial advice. And basically instead of investing in quality coins like BTC and ETH they promoted shitcoins like Pac-Man Coin and the like. They also knew nothing about the mid cap coins they promoted like ADA or XRP. They basically said and I still remember this to this day “Ripple is the most decentralized coin on the market, more decentralized than Bitcoin”. I think like a week or month later we hit the market top. But when we start seeing chefs, mechanics, and hair stylists promoting crypto on their YouTube channel. Means we are nearing the top one way or another. There is a story about NYC cab drivers giving stock advice in 1999 (or so); some of you remember what happened next... Now, I'm not saying that is going to happen...I (we?) have no idea what will happen tomorrow or next week or next year.

Anyone heard of Linus tech on YouTube? Basically it’s a very popular and technical computer channel. I always liked his content.
A few hours ago he released a new video sponsored by Nicehash called “start mining now before it’s too late”. These types of videos posted by Normies usually indicates a top is going to form sooner or later.
The guy has like 13 million viewers and it should make getting GPUs even more difficult and the difficulty will rise even further since many non miners will start to mine. Especially how easy it is to do on nicehash.
I like your logic...his channel seems like another clickbait YouTube channel...but he gets views.

when will Newegg notify you - at 5pm EST ?
or sometime after 5pm?
That's what the email says. I usually get my rejection email about 1 to 1.5 hours after the winners. Well, maybe you'll win this time

I know we are all hoping for a better year, even if you did well in 2020 it can (and will) get better.
What are you hoping for, wishing for, or are going to MAKE happen for you in 2021 ?

Maybe some downward pressure on GPU prices...we need this ! "AMD RX 6000 release date AMD has stated on more than one occasion that it is on track to release RDNA 2 GPUs before the end of 2020, and has since confirmed it plans to properly announce the RX 6000 series during a live stream on October 28, 2020, at 12:00pm ET / 16:00pm BST / 09:00am PT." https://www.pcgamer.com/amd-rx-6000-release-date-specs-price-big-navi-performance/

Prices have moved up and/or the cheaper stock is sold out, this happened before the move up in BTC value...I've heard about memory shortages, etc.
You would think that when the 3070,80,90 are more available that it will push general prices down, but who knows...

Wondering if anyone was lucky enough to grab one ?

Even as a non-profit you need to have some working capital (aka: operating reserve).
I'm guessing (i have not looked it up) that hiring a few programmers in Indian can't be that expensive.
Of course, as someone said, you can reach out to freelancers personally and ask them to help you now and receive payment later.

You buying these numbers ? "As for the mining performance itself, the GeForce RTX 3080 has a mining rate of 73-74 MH/s out of the box on Ethereum DaggerHashimoto algorithm. The performance reaches up to 82-84 MH/s and overclocking the card leads to a maximum performance output of up to 92-93 MH/s. Currently, the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT outputs around 50-54 MH/s while the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti delivers up to 54 MH/s." https://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-ethereum-crypto-mining-performance-leaks-out/I've read that there will be overclocked version of this card in the future, of course you could probably overclock these cards...
