1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Gambling vs Sport Betting, Lets Discuss on: May 23, 2024, 11:56:11 PM
Sports gambling is watching a sports related match up and betting on your favored team. While in casino gambling these are the typical games you will see in a lnd based casino like slot machines, roulettes, card and dice games and the likes. In casino gambling, the only thing you could do as a gambler is to depend on your luck qnd fate. With sports gambling, you could make  an analysis in a match based on players or team statistics and previous matches to help you decide which one will basically win. Now if the question is which gambling concept is better and will generate a more consistent profit then I'd say neither.

Luck will always be the bottomline as long as gambling is involved. You could be good on either sports betting or casino gambling, therefore that speaks for your preference.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: May 23, 2024, 11:30:00 PM
Gambling is just a activity and the society has a negative impression or viewpoint of it. However, gambling whether it is good or bad as an activity, depends on the gambler. If you are one of those who bets that much, who hopes that much and who risks that much, then you're prone to gambling addiction which is the negative outcome of this activity. On the other hand, if you will have betting limits and controlled emotions as you gamble then you'd be fine. Well yes, losing will always be a part of every bet but if you will be losing a tolerable amount in exchange for a chance to double it, would you still feel bad about it? Problem is with people crossing their lines of risk tolerance. There are peope who are betting amounts they cannot really afford losing and be frustrated of it afterwards.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in match fixing? on: May 23, 2024, 10:58:08 PM
It really does exist especially with small leagues or tournaments wherein such thing is easy to imply. Been heraring instances that fixed matches are also evident witg big sports organization like in boxing and in NBA but for sure it would be difficult to have access to such information if you're not a "big" individual  Most likely, agreements happened internally if this is just true. Personally I'm against this kind of scheme even if the scenario is that I would be given a free signal. Why? It's totally unfair to other bettors. Many people are losing big amounts because they rely solely with their luck. Also the idea that if it will be done to me, I would also be upset like all of my loss would be invalidated 'coz I will be thinking that there are people who won by fixed matches on those bets I've lost before.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bullish period and advantage. on: May 22, 2024, 11:57:51 PM
The reality people who buy Bitcoin at the dip and sell during bullish is better than DCA and holding.

From the past 4 years, if someone can buy and sell at the right time, they can at least earn 12x since the price on 2020 was $5K and now it's $70K. If they're DCA-ing Bitcoin from 2020, they're only earn 2x-3x.

Trader is better than investor, everyone can become investor, but not everyone can become trader.
Well investors won't be requiring that much time than with those who do Day trade. Bottomline here is efficiency; of course in day trading, there is a higher profit potential because the market prices are volatile. You just could make money in every pump and dump however, would you be able to do it consistently? You'd only win 4 on 10 trades (just a speculation).

I made this comparison 'coz I've been trading Bitcoin for the last 5 years. Also, I have no memories of Bitcoin falling to $5k in 2020. But going back, a friend of mine who just buys and sells on bull and bear seasons, is making a bigger profit than me and my conclusion is efficiency in trading. You won't win most of the time because the market is unpredictable in its nature.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Floyd Mayweather detained in Dubai due to gambling debts? on: May 22, 2024, 11:36:25 PM
I doubt of this, he won't be "Money" Mayweather for nothing. He's a rich athlete and not to mention big company sponsors and his advertisements which is enough for him to live his life to the fullest. He'd be able to pay this debt of him if this is true. Well yes, many celebrities and personalities have been involved with isrresponsible gambling patterns but that's because they have the money. They know how much theit networth is, which gives them the courage to bet big amounts like with Drake's controversial bets on the NBA and Boxing matches. I don't really invest that much time on such news because if I would be comparing myself to them, it won't make any sense due to differences with financial capacity and risk appetite. But the idea is there, which is to control your betting pattern and avoid betting that much however, that's something we all knew right from the start of our gambling careers.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Lotto Winner Takes Time To Claim Their Rewards, What's The Point? on: May 22, 2024, 11:15:34 PM

I read that some lottery winners take weeks or even months to claim their rewards, but what's the point?

Some so I guess that's subjective to the lottery winner. For sure there are winners who are claiming their reward the day after they knew of winning. Taking a guess, maybe those who are taking their time before claiming their reward late, are planning where to spend it or maybe they are first asking or having consultation with financial advisors or lawyers before they proceed with receiving the money. I'd probably do the same thing, I think. There could also be a tendency that those winners are avoiding possibility of robbery which is somewhat expected. One last guess is that, they might possibly misplaced their lottery receipt or forgot checking if they won; we all know how hard it is to win a lottery and with that, people are used of losing but they still continue joining lotteries which sometimes becoming a compulsion without the excitement of confirming whether they'd win for that day or not and in line with this is the tendency of not having access to television especially to those who are living on mountains (present in my country) and are only having a chance to bet or check when they are having a visit to the city.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: May 21, 2024, 11:58:20 PM
Literally everyone will want to know best alts right now to invest as bitcoin crossed $70K again giving some bull vibes. On top of that ethereum too doing so good. Is it ETH time to shine? It hasn't touched its ATH since last bull run so maybe its time for it to go above ATH. But we have to invest in low capped coins with huge potential taking some risk for high percentage of profit.
Ethereum will be always expected to be on top of other altcoins simply because it has a large chain where majority of projects are running. If it is with Altcoins, then for sure this would be best for long term, also for another consideration ARB and SOL would both be good picks. Some are into memecoins and there's really nothing wrong with it as long as you know to yourself how to handle this coin category's market price volatility. Sudden pump happens and that simply means sudden dumps could also take place so be careful especially with being greedy on new ones in the market. Prioritize securing decent profit and never be too hopeful for a coin that has no utility to sustain every market price surge aside from hype alone.

Bitcoin and other major coins are back again with their ATH prices and that means other coins would also follow. Check on those which had it late because volumes will get up anytime soon.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Religion. Beliefs or Choices? on: May 21, 2024, 11:29:45 PM

Have you ever faced any conflicts between your religious beliefs versus gambling? How it happen and how did you handle it?
How do different religions view gambling? What could be the reasons behind it?

Speaking for those I know who have conflict of interest between religious teachings and their gambling habits. The idea of haandling it is simply choosing between following the teachings of your religion haaving this concern, or choosing to not follow gambling prohibition. There's no other way to handle this simply because this activity and the teachings are not aligned in the first place. In some religions, they are strict with reminding their believers that gambling is totally wrong while there are also religions which are neutral about it. Personally, I am not that religious which is why I'm here. Thus, to those who have been following a certain religious belief, you better choose already because if you won't, conflict of interest will just continue affecting one or the other.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to maximize winning potential and control excessive gambling habits on: May 21, 2024, 11:05:16 PM
It'll all boil down to self discipline concerning one's betting habit and wagering patterns. If you are easily affected by your emotions, like betting aggressively after a losing bet then you're not really doing it right. If you aim to maximize the chances, it would be best to stick with a certain betting amount. Gambling is a game of luck; you have no guarantee of both winning and losing, however loss should be always anticipated 'coz it would limit you on betting more than what you can actually afford to lose. By means of controlling the betting amount, it will allow you to have more chances to win.

If you have $100 to bet, it would be 10 chances if you will be using 10 on each game than to just go all out and have nothing after a single game.  Giving yourself 10 chances will also to assess whether you are lucky or not for that day, which also avoids the idea of you being frustrated and depositing another amount to force a win.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is boxing the worst sport to bet on? on: May 21, 2024, 10:46:39 PM
What are our options? Not to tolerate but aren't fixed matches evident to all sports in gambling? We saw or hear about it with basketball, football, billiards, and the others. To clear things, not all matches are rigged; there are just some and unfortunately it will forever be part of the game. If you don't want fixed matches then better to engage with pure luck based gambling games but winning would be harder as you rely on your luck alone (just based on my perspective). Therefore, I'd probably stick with sports gambling 'coz aside from that's what I enjoy playing, it gives me a better edge to win through analysis and background checking of the players and teams on the match up.

I'm quite having a winning streak with my bets on boxing matches and that is probably the reason why I don't mind these instances. There are options to take as I've mentioned if things won't be good in sportsbetting.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has big wins and jackpot stories affected your gambling habit? on: May 20, 2024, 03:56:48 PM
Unfortunately, from some of my known friend's experiencing it quite triggered him to bet more than his usual wagering pattern. He's not blaming anyone but the feeling itself is just something that could give a gambler, that drive to experience more. If we would go deeper, this might be because winning is a bit rare at least to majority of gamblers. Experiencing it on the other hand could give you hope and expectations that winning is really possible. Greed basically. I've never hit the jackpot but at this point that I'm now aware of my gambling patterns, I'd probably take a paause from gambling if ever I would be winning one. This is to secure the profit, basically and to not let emotions gamble for me.

Some people might get inspired on these stories but I think people should focus more on the journey before those big wins, than to just look at the result already. That might be more helpful to remind gamblers that there is no such thing as an easy way in gambling industry.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest bet you ever won? Did you withdraw or lose it? on: May 20, 2024, 03:26:58 PM
If I remembered it correctly that was around $2.5k and unfortunately I wasn't able to withdraw or at least enjoy the amount because I became greedy that I did expect for more. Eversince, I started limiting myself not only on loss but also with profit. There are just times it would be best to just bag the profit because it is not something that will  happen on a daily basis. But it's just the feeling which I guess is normal; you'd be so hyped and thrilled of making it come and then end up with regrets if things did the opposite, which us more often being anticipated. Be preventive of situations you will never wish seeing yourself on.
Someone who can wins much money but not stops from playing gambling immediately can lose all of that wins money because they can't see the reality that they will still difficult to wins in gambling. I don't wins much money but I can accept that because I realizes that wins in gambling is not easy and I don't wants to lose more money. But if people out there can wins much money, they must withdraw their wins money before it's too late and they lose that money. They must be wise with their wins money because they have many things to fills and if they lose that wins money, they can't fills their needs. They must not placing the bets more than they can afford to lose because once they lose, they will regret of what they have done. That's why we must be careful when playing gambling.
Problem is with people who are thinking that after winning an amount could give them more rewards.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the good days for meme coins gone forever ? on: May 20, 2024, 02:45:52 PM
Will always be there. Keep in mind thaat memecoins solely depends on the hyp created by retailers and big investors, an that's simply something that could take place on any day. However, as we all know, not all meme tokens has the potential to alwas cope up with market price behavior in general except for the big names we often see wherein communities are more sustainable at this point. Never be closing the doors for thins that could generate profit. If you're not really after these coins then that's just fine but we cannot conclude for other people. There will always be a supporter of this catergory ad also people who are either uninterested or are just not confident with meme tokens. Better days are coming for this industry and that includes this meme coin industry.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's responsible for the dead coins? on: May 20, 2024, 01:28:17 PM
No one really has fault of it but if there will be one to have chances of sustaaining the project in long term, that would be the team behind it of course. We have no control of majority's favor when it comes on projects but the team could improve its sectors such as being active to social media platforms, to continue updating the project, and the likes to simply make a project alive. We cannot force people to engage into a project but at least  people who started a project could do something when comes on prolonging a project's presence to this industry.
Definitely dev team is responsible for the dead coins not the investors. Dev team must keep engaging with community and make their project interesting enough for investors to invest/hold. If one doesn't feel confidence about their investment, why would he keep holding. So as soon as he looses confidence, he just exits.

Of course, the first thing to blame is those who are seen as failing to realize what was previously considered successful and promising investors high profits at all costs to invest in their platforms.

My question is, if such conditions are already bankrupt will they compensate for losses and all losses to their users. I thought, no. They will run off and shut down all information channels related to their project.

They cannot compensate their investors because all of them took the risk. It should be more of a mutual understanding; investors helping to promote the project and the developers to continue improving it to attract more people and to contribute with the project's growth.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are you hyper focus, online casinos or physical casinos on: May 20, 2024, 12:56:44 PM
I don't think there is a topic created about this, so I'm creating one.

Actually there are plenty of topics discussing our preference between land based and online gambling platforms. Majority of the people in this forum would most likely prefer online gambling sites simply because of the involvement of cryptocurrency as the mode of payment on web 3 casinos. Also, the convenience it gives is priceless than to go to personally to the casino. Has something to do as well with where would a player be comfortable to gamble and in my end, I definitely have this with online gambling sites because of lack of distractions which allows me to have better decision making as I place my bets.
So between the two where are you more hyper-focused and how many hours do you spend on one compared to the other?
Having never been to a physical casino so I don't know how it feels to play there and only play at online casinos then online casinos are my only choice, and also which one will be the choice for gamblers is how they want to get a better feeling, physical casinos will be allows gamblers to interact with other players, while online gambling will provide more comfort because you can play anywhere and anytime, as long as you have money and time you can play straight away, also changes in lifestyle will make players prefer online casinos, especially since you don't need spent time to go to a physical casino, but for those who like traditional things physical casinos will be an option.
Absolutely. In most instances those who prefers gambling personally on casinos are those which are seeking "true gambling experience" but I guess that's subjective. In both online and landbased casinos, risk is present and that's enough to give you that experience except the actual interaction with other players.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are confident with your picks, do you win most of the time? on: May 19, 2024, 11:58:16 PM
Nope, unfortunately. The ones which often turns into winning bets, personally, are those which I weren't that much confident of. Well to some it would be frustrating but I just accepted how gambling works. However, it just feels good whenever outcome meets my expectation in particular with the teams I assumed to win. It quite gives me the feeling that I am not only guessing but more of analyzing the game and that's more fulfilling for me. But again, we just don't have control of gambling outcomes. There are times you don't really feel the confidence but you end up winning and this is not fulfilling on my end however, I still continue doing some random bets for the sake of calibrating my luck with the games I invested time analyzing. Well, what matters is that I enjoy watching games in sportsbetting.

But I do see this often with card game players especially those who knows how to bluff and card count wherein they seem to be doing what they planned.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: This Will make you rich on: May 19, 2024, 11:38:05 PM
That 1% is people who succeeded on their fields such as Billgates, Elon, and the likes. Of course setting a good mindeset would help but you need more than that. Aside from a mindset you also need to have knowledge of many things or just with your field of focus. One thing common with these people is innovation. They did not became rich by sales alone but rather they innovated something or simply created their own market; thinking outside the box and what's usual. You could be rich with different fields but if you'd have something other people don't, this is the way or your chance to conquer the world. Question is, are you aiming for this level?

You could just be rich in your profession or your business but that doesn't make you an odd individual like with people we are pertaining to in this topic. Now, it depends on your vision on how big you'd hope for yourself.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How it is possible to get MC in millions ? on: May 19, 2024, 11:09:48 PM
i have been looking into the dextools and dexscreener the meme projects of solana mostly tokens just launched and within 1 2 hour they gained more than a million dollar market cap and when i check their socials they are dead not a single active post their but still manage to engage audience and reach Million dollar MC how i can't figure it out same now i found a https://simsol.fun/ project a meme one but this time their socials are quite active and but still no as such marketing but i am getting vibes it gonna make million for sure what you think ?

Quite confusing. Have you considered checking on their other possible social media accounts? Or even community accounts like in telegram. There are many possible reasons behind this; it could be that they are just so popular to gain enough hype as their project is being launched or this maarket cap of them is just the creator's wallet to imeediately increase the liquidity of a coin. Check on their token holders and see how many people are under that million dollar market cap. But most likely, they have a community where the team of this project, interacts with investors. The traditional way of climbing a million market cap would be a long journey especially for meme coins even if there are many people who are aiming to explore newly released projects under this sector.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still to Invest into meme coins? on: May 19, 2024, 10:39:42 PM
Memecoins are profitable but risky due to it higher market price volatility compared to other coins in particular with big names in this industry. So if it is with the question whether memecoins are still a good investment, it is you to decide and choose whether it is or not. If you can handle the sudden market price changes due to market manipulation and/or hype alone then you're good to go. Just keep in mind that not all memecoins are the same with PEPE, FLOKI, SHIB, and DOGE. It is you to choose which memecoin to engage yourself with. This is not a disclaimer but a reminder. Memecoins are good if you have competitive DCA 'coz unlike with Bitcoin and Ethereum wherein price entry is most of the time the problem, with memecoins you need to always check market price behavior, literally from time to time.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: How to improve your condition? on: May 19, 2024, 04:58:21 PM
Everyone wants to be rich but not all people are willing to to do whatever it takes (except illegal activities) to do so. Everyone is living under different circumstances and most of these are related to your progress of being rich. If you're only earning enough and becoming hopeless of turning things around, just choose to always continue what you are doing towards your dreams. If you'd be impatient of things then stick with your 9-hr shift. Having a decent job will of course give you a boost towards weath, if not with certainty, at least closing the gap will be a huge help. If possible, push your capability to add more workload that will at least support the struggle or negate it.

There will be people saying things like being consistent but what's best I guess is to learn truly what and how activities work. Then if that's the case you should also be enriching your skill set to earn lmmore than than this
