81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Less than 24 hours to Bitcoin halving and my Birthday! on: April 18, 2024, 05:46:46 PM
Happy Birthday, Bro!
If you are expecting for an instant pump during halving, then past has proven such thing to be non-existent. Bullrun occured months after the halving from the previous one, although there's no guaranteed consistency between events in this industry, what else can we be depending on right? Hence, be careful still. There is a possibility for a sudden dump in my opinion just like what happened last week. Things are still too early if I would be asked about it. For now, I am just waiting for a huge decline before I make an entry. I'm already good with my portfolio at this point but if there would be a massige discount on its price, then I can't see why I wouldn't be filling my bag and hold for a couple of months.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: April 18, 2024, 05:17:40 PM
Not gonna lie but even if Frank is a tough opponent, I guess I would go with Tank on this match up; experience, better knockout artist, absolute power puncher, and agility of course. Anything could still happen indeed but we're talking about subjective opinion and mine this time would be Tank, as I said. Tank grew so fast on his career and what made me think of such way was his fight with Ryan. He's an intelligent boxer and all of his opponents will be having a hard time against him especially at this point that he continues his heavy training on his team. Would be for sure exciting to watch. For me, Martin is still too young to go toe to toe with Tank. He needs to grow more and to polish his skills before he get to Tank's level.

We don't know what's the outcome of this fight but we can predict what will happen in the fight once we gonna make a good research on both sides. Actually they have the same things they are both undefeated and good fighter inside the ring. And also we are all know that they got a title which is they are recognize in some countries. But for me in this fight maybe tank David can do a good shot that can win against his opponent not in knockout but maybe by unanimous decision. But I think frank martin won't let that happen so this is a good fight to watch.
I believe this would be ending with a K.O. Both are aggressive in the first place once they get their phasing. Both of their undefeated records are on the line which adds thrill watching and choosing the right fighter to bet in.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Projected how to spend gambling profits while the game has not played yet? on: April 18, 2024, 04:41:47 PM
Well yes and I'm sure some gamblers here are betting because they want to earn money to buy something, and that's the same thing. Is it bad? Sort of, especially if that desire pushes you to bet bigger amount despite of losing. I had an experience before wherein I want to buy something worth $500. Although I have the money that time, I chose to gamble half of it and end up losing. Foolish right? But the idea I had there, was to buy something and still have an amount to be left in my pocket that day. However, the decision isn't practical. This may sound funny to some but I believe other related instances were done by the others too, which is the negative side of projecting the profit. It could make you greedy of winning. Expecting to win is not a bad thing but if you'd be overwhelm by your emotion because of that, then that's a must to avoid.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing the money in gambling, what is your strategy on: April 17, 2024, 06:49:00 PM
Losing is  common experience to all of us. Whenever I am in huge loss in gambling, I usually take a pause to somehow calibrate my luck although without assurance but obviously it would be better than to push my luck on winning the game and make up with what I have lost. I am seeking efficiency with gambling; limit to loss and limit to profit. So far, this habit of mine helped me to be quite in profit than with what I have experienced when I was still betting bigger amount than what I supposed to.

Now he had decided to start the gambling again with the loan money to balance the previous loss of 2000$.What is your opinion on this,I had suggested him to go to the regular job to reduce the loan in step by step to reduce the loan burden. But he had word of “We can earn,Where we had loss everything “.Share your opinion on this.

Your friend has a bad strategy all method or strategy, anything that involves taking a loan is always a bad idea, you should never play with the idea that must win and beat the casino it is pressure playing that will eventually backfire on you.
In my case whenever I suffer huge losses I take a break so I can forget my losses, you don't play right away and try to regain what you've lost, as a rule of thumb in gambling you must never chase your losses, it's a bad mindset, a bad idea and bad strategy, so it will yield with a bad result.

Taking a break would be better than to push your fate in this industry; if you lost then you're unlucky and this is the simplest explanation to why do people stress that much whenever things are not going in accordance with what you assume in the first place.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do casinos do with inactive accounts? on: April 17, 2024, 06:03:36 PM
As far as I know, it is either they just let those accounts be there, or send a notice with interval perhaps 3 months before proceeding with temporary deactivation. However, in both instances, a player is free to activate whenever he would want to. Such thing will only be strict if there is a limited number of accounts to exist in a single website, and it just happened that most of the time, it is not an issue.
What do casinos do with inactive accounts? And what does inactivity mean - not logging in to your casino account or logging in say every two months without playing any game?

I also learned that there is something called a dormancy fee or maintenance charges on those inactive accounts which covers for administrative cost incurred by those accounts. I learned that the deduction is from the remaining balance in the account. What about inactive accounts without any balance? On the other hand, what type of fee is charged on an active account?

it is their site so it is their rules mate,

we are open to create new account in other sites so why need to focus in those sites that
locking our account?

and also for me? i have some sets of casino in place, I may choose which one to play and if happened
that I am inactive? then I may consider other casino than this on.
Well, yes this is another option. A gambler could either request for re-activation of the account or just move with other gambling provider for him to continue what he is doing. Just be sure to read the terms of a platform to avoid being surprised of such feat. At the end of the day, we are just players or consumers for a specific service. The only thing we could to is to comply with the things a platform would demand and negotiate.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Heat vs. 76ers 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament Odds & Preview on: April 17, 2024, 05:01:03 PM
Playoffs Butler is different. 76ers indeed is a good team but Heat is becoming a stronger team since last conference. They have built their chemistry already and I guess if it is within this match up, I'd be going all in with Miami. They are expected to struggle against 76ers but we all know how capable Miami is, if they'd be putting extra effort in every ball posession. I think they'd be getting this match up and engage to quarters. Well yes anything could still happen but with experience in playoffs, they have a bigger potential to go through next round.
I think it's early to take the Heat, and it feels like the Sixers could easily cover that handicap if Embiid is back. Maybe it's just me favoring the Sixers higher than the rest because they're always making it in the playoffs while getting the higher seeds, and they only made it here after an unexpected injury from their main player.

The current handicap is now up to 5.5 and with Embiid in the lineup, the Heat's chances to get the seventh seed are abysmal.
Embiid is really a challenge along with Maxey. Butler and adebayo on the other hand for sure are prepared for it. Embiid is quite not doing lately with his injuries and I still hope he'd be consistent at least to give it a good match.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where would you prefer to watch your favorite team? on: April 15, 2024, 05:53:00 PM
At home for sure, on my computer. Why? If it is just watching then of course entertainment would be going to the match personally and enjoy things but since places where matches happen on the games I am interested with, ain't that near to be accessed then I'd choose watching at home, just my personal preference and that would also allow me to think of the best best I could do, if ever it comes on my mind to do so. Some people might be preferring to watch with other people but that's them chasing their preference, and eitherway would be fine as long as you're good with your chosen set up.
I'm already fine watching sports at home using the smart TV with my loved one. I feel something special about sharing the moments with the person who shares my passion and enthusiasm for the game. Cheering on my favorite team or engaging in friendly banter with rivals, these shared experiences create lasting bonds and memories. For me, there's a certain charm to watching at home, where I can relax in familiar surroundings and even enjoy some homemade snacks.
Indeed with accessing other things such as food and drinks; that's the best part of watching at home. But if you're an extrovert then going out would be most likely to be chosen. This discussion just boils down to preference of the person who would watch the game itself, since things are simply subjective.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An interesting story and experience of a gambler on: April 15, 2024, 05:34:43 PM
There is a statement he made there that "No matter how much you win you can never get satisfied". Yes this is a result of not being able to control himself, like as I always said whenever you have the first winning its just like giving you a free ticket to keep gambling because you would have this mindset that there are other possible huge luck out there you could win higher than what you have won. Of curse there is every possibility that you could win higher or above what you had won before but have you also consider the other side of yourself what it's causing towards your life because to me, when you gamble and win it increases your interest to keep gambling the more at this point you won't know when you might got sink in gambling addictions.
If it is on a winning position then that's clearly greed. Self discipline will indeed aid this however it is the hardest thing to imply to oneself, which makes this a bit understandable. Personally, I am guilty of such thing, there are times I would be desiring to earn more than to settle with a small profit, then end up with a complete loss but that's gambling. It will never be too late to make a change for yourself, for the betterment, all you need is to have the initiative or else, quit gambling because in the long run you'd more likely just be in deep loss.
What exactly do you think we call this type of gambler? For he is not only addicted to gambling, but he seem to be also addicted to buying stuffs he obviously does not need, and absolutely not interested in..

Again, alot of money can be made through gambling if one is lucky, but it also can destroy the person if he or she does not, or fail to control him or herself..
That guy might have a shopping addiction if he spends that much on the things he wants, but I think it's not a bad alternative if he'll be gambling his winning at some point. It reminds me of an old topic mentioning your winnings and spending them before it's too late.

The lucky win probably gave him a lot of confidence and maybe that's why he couldn't resist playing again. I've experienced that same situation, and eventually, you could be giving back your winnings within a short time if you start chasing your losses.
Will be absurd to think that he's addicted already. Would be better to assume that he's just having his "wants" more than his "needs" if it causes him problem already. But I agree with the idea that he might got used of buying anything that crosses his mind because of confidence that he will again win in gambling. However, as we all know, gambling doesn't work that way. You may win sometimes but it won't always be happening, or should I say not too often that it will outnumber the tendency that you'd lose.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Geopolitical Tension and its effects on Gambling on: April 15, 2024, 05:09:44 PM

Do people gamble less when they see such tensions around the globe?

Will the gambling sites/bookies will have an impact on this situation?
Actually, it has no direct effect or relationship with gambling but some people, especially those whoch are highly affected, will of course prioritize things which are necessary such as purchasing food supplies  to help them survive if there will be a havoc due to the mentioned issues or problems. Some people would still continue gambling simply because they have a desire for it. Keep in mind that more gamblers are employees than stakeholders and investors which makes them free of worries. Most likely, those who have holdings in form of crypto would hesitate to gamble using such mode of payment and will most likely engage to fiat gambling sites, to at least lessen the risk of losing more because prices of the tokens are still down at this point.

With gambling sites or providers, they are the ones to be feeling slight effects from the actions above I've mentioned from the gamblers because there's a chance that smaller number of people would gamble and make a deposit. But nothing's certain still; things are not the same with all countries and regions so I guess others platforms still function the same way they do with or without these issues.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently? on: April 15, 2024, 04:45:21 PM
I do get the idea tha the token supply of Bitcoin is limited and such, but do its demand will continue for a lifetime? No guarantee right? Bitcoin is a good asset or investment and that's settles it. Bitcoin has its limitation with accessibility and widescale acceptance as a mode of payment making it, not the best to be honest. It is a profitable asset to have given how high its price rate increases over years, but there's no such thing as easy profit no matter how we look at the situation. So my point here is that, if you're an investor, you are free to engage on what you think will be worthy of your time and money. If it includes Bitcoin then that's good, but if not that should be fine as well.
Bitcoin seems to be and has been the best asset of today and of all time.  As the price of Bitcoin is increasing in the future, this Bitcoin will go to a level beyond human imagination.  Everyone's hype and frenzy about Bitcoin has reached a high level and many are investing in it, Bitcoin is one of the favorite and favorite of all.  But the price of edit core has increased in us since 2017 I've been watching bitcoin since 2017 the price of bitcore was low and it came and went and in 2024 it's back to this high.  But let's look at Bitcoin and whether Bitcoin owners or holders are in a trend and Bitcoin situation in which Bitcoin goes up is normal.  Anyone who has a bitcoin can now live like a king of Bangladesh because he can't spend his money so easily if he wants.
Hype and craze are real about it but negative impressions should also be considered if we are about to look it in such way. Problem is with people not really putting time to study what this technology is all about and will just be surprised if partial loss is in display because of a sudden dump in the market. People are only after the profit but are not minding the risk involved and the reality that no profit is hundred percent guaranteed, and that it will depend on your plans as an investor of it.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Prioritizing strong foundation over quick gains on: April 15, 2024, 04:19:49 PM
Well, this is true however, people chasing quick gain or profit schemes are simply signs of frustrations, probably with life. People are aware of how hard living is, which gives them the desire of having alternative routes to succeed despite of being aware that there's no such thing. Of course it would be best to establish a good foundation and gain profit on the long run but not all people have enough patience and firmness to last that long without having hopes for less time.
Will I call it greed for trying to reap from where you did not sow, or will I call it wrong decision making. Laziness and patience with life, and our investment is what can lead to such thought of looking for short cut to quick riches. This is why people who think they are smart enough to outsmart the market ends up filling their backs with shitcoins believing that they will make a fortune from it. Investment is something that takes time to grow and needs patience with sacrifice.

However, some people have also been lucky to make a fortune from shitcoins, especially the devs because they control the price. Those that have benefited from some meme coins will still fall victim, and run at loss in the latter, because they will not quit from buying them. It is when they have experienced a great loss, that they will fall back to bitcoin, after wasting time and resources. Short cut to riches has more risky than favor.
Well, I cannot blame you for having such impression that some people are just being lazy of things but as I said, I would still believe that some peope are just feeling desperated and having feelings of frustration which is why they want to finish things up, earlier than expected. Anything that wasn't invested with time, cannot last that long. Perhaps problems may take place and since 'foundation' isn't that firm, damages could be taken and this is evident to most of the situations there is; career, economy, dreams and more. It will all boil down to one's mindset but changing it won't be too simple.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling or selling? on: April 15, 2024, 03:47:40 PM
Check your reason to sell and weight if it would be valid to settle for a temporary loss. If you know how this market behaves then you guys should be calm. Of course it would be a better decision to keep on holding, and if possible, fill your bags more. The bullrun has just started and there's just a mild dump happened recently and that's a normal thing. Also, bullrun won't start in an instant given that we're days away from the halving. Situations such as investors grabbing profit is something not surprising.

It would be okay to be tempted but if you will observe those wallets who sold, they will again purchase on the verge of recovery. If you happened to miss the 'wave' then that would be a bigger regret, I believe. But you're free to do so, just hope that you won't regret it eventually.

People who managed to hold for long years are simply driven to earn more. They know how far this industry have become and that gave them the idea that there's more into it.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin hype getting higher on: April 15, 2024, 03:15:32 PM
It's true that people always have interested in memecoin. I heard many strange memecoin names. i avoided those and was launching at corner. But it seems revolution happened in memeocin industry in the start of 2023. In that yeat, a lots of memecoin had come in crypto market and made people millionaire. Pepe, Bonk, Meme and so on. and in 2024 WIF and BOME again have created hype and made people millionaire again. Now memecoins are in demand due to the possibility of higher returns. And it makes people crazy. What's your opinion about this?
MEME coins are risky, but they do yield profits and its pretty cheap so I think its natural that people flock towards it. There are alot of altcoins like this.

Indeed risky, but as long as it could give profit to the investor then it will be fine engaging into such tokens, just be sure to mind the risk given how volatile these memetokens are. Normal DCAs would do and also, profits aren't cheap if you would learn how its market price move. It depends of course on the amount you will invest, but always make sure to know your risk appetite.
That's true op. Memecoin hype wasn't new, it started from shiba when $12 worth shiba turn into million and then dogecoin skyrocket and become in top10 list. After that, memecoin hype was started. But its true that, i experienced too much memecoins were keep launching since 2023 and so is happening in 2024. And you can see, these memecoins marketcaps are also huge.that indicates people are getting more serious and involving more with memecoin then before. But this is just a start cause when bull run will start in altcoin sector, many crazy things are waiting
I do believe that those marketing stunts that have been used through shiba and other meme coins through twitter was successful.
Whoever thought of that and did the execution was a genius and was able to garner a lot of attention from most investors that are wanting to quickly see their money grow. While the majority have already missed it but those that were able to make it, congratulations to most of you.

The fame gathered by those project are been used by certain new meme coins to attract a lot of investors since they want to leave an impression for all user that there's same like situation will happen to their new project that's why to many people got hype for thinking that they could able to earn a lot of money and they don't want to missed those new meme coins launched. This is risky since we know there's a lot of scams that's why we should never over expect on something risky since its hard to find a what they called gem. So much better for investors still taking all the risk to lower down their expectation and if there's a opportunity to sell then maybe they should do it before a dump or a dev will decide to abandon their tokens since for sure they provably lose all their money if that incident already happen.
Heard of projects becoming rugged after a few weeks and I agree that it should be something to watch out for. My advice is to not 'sit' that much on the new ones and to just get an easy 10x as you limit and signal to get out if you will be interested to take the risk. There are also established names in meme coin industry such as DOGE and SHIB to name a few, which could be great options. I'd say, the volatility in meme tokens aren't for everyone qho are just riding the hype.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Governments and their irrelevant projects just to steal public funds on: April 15, 2024, 01:41:46 PM
Unfortunately, this is not a new thing in my country. I'm living on a third world country which is even listed on the top corrupted countries of the world; a title no one will be prouf of, no doubt. It is  major and long existing problem to be honest. A new leader won't aid it in a single term, and it will also be needing consistency not only for the official but also to the citizens of a country. For sure this is evident to many countries and I just wish I will live enough to see betterment in my country's economic situation.
First of all I don't agree with you that the project is neither boosting the economy nor the currency value. These projects are approved in plenty of stages and we can't assume that everyone involved in our government is corrupt.

Secondly if it's the case then your should look at the law of your country and try to get the point how you can raise voice against it in a lawful manner. It's very important to obey the rules and regulations of any country because everyone will do what he/she thinks is right then it'll lead to catastrophic damage.
Indeed, some of the projects are really helping its people. It is just the fact that officials are putting higher price to the actual project cost to bag on their own. Not all officials are corrupt and that is absolutely correct. And when it comes to project approval, it is also true that before it got signed, there will be needing different sector's support. We have ways actually, but if not all people would vote the rightful politicians then things won't change to be honest and that's the sad reality of some country's governments. Situations are that bad that corruption is being normalized and accepted by people as a non-stop problem to all countries.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is alt season likely to be? on: April 15, 2024, 02:06:43 AM
Well it always takes place after Bitcoin dominance however, nothing guarantees its occurence not until it actualy happen. With this, then it is more likely after the halving. Now, do you think we shoud wait for Bitcoin to first show its dominance before you actually invest? I doubt; as Bitcoin price continues to rise same thing goes with major altcoins. Waiting for this could leave you for that 'ride' so I guess being early is the same. What's best to do now is to select the altcoins you think has the highest possibility to pump along with major coins in the market and keep your eyes on watch for them. You don't need to invest in many, just a few would be enough. On my end I will be sticking with what I have with my portfolio and observe if there will be a good opportunity to add on my bag when another dip takes place. Just be patient and firm.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Few days to 4th Bitcoin Halving on: April 14, 2024, 05:04:58 PM
I have witnessed two Bitcoin Halving cycles and going through its historical data about the price before the halving, Bitcoin created a new history this cycle, that is breaking through its ATH before the halving, however in as much as we anticipate future significant price growth as usual But we really needs to digest this new record that Bitcoin made.

So, What is your thought seeing the price of Bitcoin smashed the ATH a month before its halving?

1. Could this mean that we are on the verge of witnessing an explosive Bitcoin rally as a result of the Bitcoin ETFs approval.

2. Do you think that the Bitcoin Bull market is going to end sooner than later after the halving?

A big decline in its price happened already and I guess I wasn't surprise. Big investors are most likely to take profit before the anticipated event and wait for things to be more clear, in particular with market price pattern. I do believe that the market price, months after halving, will again be breaking the ceiling. Now the question is, should you buy at this point aready? You could go either buying or waiting for a lower market price, depending on your risk appetite. Things are still too early to conclude and nothing will be certain. We can just only draw conclusion from previous market price behaviors during the same said event, although it was never guaranteed for such thing to happen again. The uptrend may take place before, during, or after the halving. Check on yourself whether you would be able to endure the market, if incase things will turn out to be the opposite of what is expected by many people.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It takes the balls... on: April 14, 2024, 04:34:28 PM
Well, it is always easy to talk than to act. Reminds me of people who are blaming early investors for selling too early but cannot buy during a big dip. I do get the idea of how circumstances play a role in the lives of investors such that there will be time you'd be worried of losing whoch also scares you to engage into it. Well, it is really a valid thing to hesitate but this should end the idea as well of either selling or buying earlier than what's ideal simply because the market itself is unpredictable. Imagine assuming that the dip will already be the last but the market keeps on falling when you happened to sten in that margin. We are not even required to embrace that much of a risk if we don't really feel like. Wait for more if that would be better on your end and just avoid FOMO to not escalate the problem. Problem is with people wishing to maximize the profit by more engagements into it.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana might be next leading, after Ether & bnb. on: April 14, 2024, 04:08:34 PM
No doubt. Are you guys aware that many projects are now running under solana chain? Saw numerous meme tokens which are currently on the hype, being under SOL. Well, yes not all of these projects are succeeding in the long run but the hype itsef being generated for solana, is something you could take advantage of to make profit. Future is bright for solana if this continues for the next years to come in this industry.
I actually think that is Solana’s place; right after BNB. I don’t think Solana is gone, and I wonder why someone thinks that. Let’s not forget that attention is divided and there are many projects people could invest their money in. That’s one of the problems with altcoins today. Every day more is created and it’s harder to focus on the really worthy ones. But Solana is doing really fine.
With so many things that are happening in the Solana ecosystem, I think that it's safe to say that it's really in the right place and I think that it would be a good time to buy some Solana because there's a possibility that they might go up in price again and I don't think that you should be missing out on that when there's a possibility that this might happen. Especially with all the investors right now looking for the next big meme coin, it's a nice timing to get into while these meme coins are popping up on Solana.

For me, I can’t say if it’s a good time to buy or not (for those who are looking to invest, but the way I see it, it’s a good investment. And if you can’t hodl for the short term then hodl for the long term. In the end, Solana should be great, unless someone develops something that does all it does but even more. That’s why you should invest wisely because everything has a timeframe before something beats them.
No one will be certain of the perfect time to buy but at least you could gauge the risk and circumstances of investing into it. We could all make an entry for our own no matter what price there is as long as you can bare with sudden price changes, which is normal in the first place. But compared to other altcoins, solana has a more stable market price, and that is for me enough to not worry that much into it, especially during market dips.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about videos on mistakes in gambling sites and games? on: April 14, 2024, 03:34:36 PM
Not everything you see or hear is true. Some may make you believe their lies as truth.

This is how matured gambler thinks. We have expereince gambling already and we know it's hard to win, in fact most of us losses in the long run, so that thing called "easy money" that is being broadcast by the streamers is just a way to attract gamblers to sign under their referral, or they are just paid by a certain casino that they are promoting. We are not born yesterday,  we know the truth in gambling, and it's too risky that we should not be too overconfident especially on games that are only won by luck.
Something brought by experience. Well, on our end, of course we won't believe in such things but given that we are not the only audience they are having, some people might fall for it and that's a bit normal; they are just being persuaded by the content as its purpose in the first place. What we could do is to inform only the people around us especially those who are getting their interests with such contents. We may only share our knowledge and it is still up to them whether they will allow themselves to be hooked with it. Many people or viewers are just desperate to look for an easy way to make money and some lessons are just learned the hard way, at least for them. At the end of the day, we have no control of other people's mind.
these "loophole" videos for gambling, they're a total scam. Complete waste of time. These con artists are the actual gamblers, wagering on desperate people. Really sad.

These gambling sites arent run by idiots. Their business-leading systems are tight. Anyone promising a miracle loophole is lying big time. If they could defeat the house, they'd win millions, not sell videos, right?

The smartest move is to disregard hype. Remember that succeeding in life and gambling requires ability and strategy, not shortcuts. Trust me, don't believe showy promises. Play smart and you may win.
They are simply being paid to do so. Some streamers are not even gamblers to start with and are just being paid to promote gambling sites that they don't even know nothing about. Do you make bets with your friends?
What do you think about this experience  ?

Sometimes if they happened to visit me at my house. But I do practice deciding on my own most of the time. Reason? I don't want to have feelings of regrets when it comes in gambling because it could trigger a drive in me to make up with the losing bet (assuming that there will be since we won't be able to guarantee winning). When money is involved, it is a normal response for someone to be more logical and more practical especially on times losing is something that has a possibility to take place.
I think I have seen a similar nature thread a few weeks ago and now seeing it once again. I have never made such bets with my friends personally but it could be a quite fun way for many people. Especially for the ones who are students without job or earning. The winner can enjoy the food/drinks/other items which loser gives him as a treat.
Thought I'd be the only one to notice. However, I still chose to answer these question 'coz in such way I am learning to care for other people especially those who are unaware of the cons of doing so. To those who are still aiming or those which are interested to bet in such way, and to be entertained, you guys should just watch the game and enjoy things on your own.
