1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO - private and anonymous hotels chain - are you interested? on: July 11, 2017, 06:52:03 PM
Why there's always those guys that immediately criticize whenever someone comes up with a new idea ? Specially blockchain related... I mean, you gotta be dumb, right ?

Anyway, the best answer I can give you is that you might have something here.

Nothing incredible, nothing that will keep me awake tonight for sure... But yes, you can become rich out of this, definatly, even if you don't grow what you expect to (you probably won't)

It will always come down to how much effort you'll put into it through time and adversity
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Housing bubble in Australia on: June 16, 2017, 11:38:31 AM
It will become more and more difficult to see a big market crash after 2008, because if it happens, every government, central banks and financial institutions know they will suffer like never before. I think you know why...
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Housing bubble in Australia on: June 16, 2017, 11:33:15 AM
As we all know it's getting more and more expensive to buy a house, and the rate of growth currently associated with investing in a house is just phenomenal, and obviously too good to not be a bubble. We all know that. However, WHEN will this bubble pop?

More and more houses are being built but the demand for it just continues to go up. And many houses are bought and just left to sit there, not even rented out, fueling the problem further because investors just want a safe and profitable investment.

What do you think the governments can do to avoid this? Put a limit on houses per person? Your opinions?

Have you done a "big short" kind of research ? Have you visited abandoned neighbourhoods ? Have you heard people getting unusual credits ? Have you heard people giving unusual credits ? If so, how many ?

I believe you, but you can't just say it's a bubble because the sector is growing fast. Where I live it's the same, but it's mainly because of the chinese coming here to live, and other countries like Brazil and centre of Europe where is becoming more and more insecure.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jaxx wallet ethereum qr code is actually iban number. on: June 16, 2017, 11:21:59 AM
JAXX wallet really cool wallet the only thing I realized lately is the qr-code which shows up as an ETHEREUM public key is actually an IBAN-number and not what it seems to be. Sending some ETH to different addresses other than JAXX to JAXX transaction gets tricky. Talked already to helpdesk they cannot help me anyone has an idea how to change this again into the real ETH public key ?

If it's an iban number I would try to send 1 or 2 dollars from my bank account just to see what happens  Roll Eyes
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there people here from 2013 who are not millionaires now? on: June 15, 2017, 12:33:37 AM
From your logic, you only needed to be from 2016 to be a millionaire, no need to go back to 2013 when bitcoin was pretty flat.

If you're talking about alt coins, lol. Who would be crazy enough to invest a decent amount of money in any other coin. Ethereum was at 9 dollars last december, no one give a shit
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looks like WAVES is not really a decentralised platform (SCAM) on: June 14, 2017, 12:25:01 AM
This is totally nonsense thread to destroy the reputation of waves. I smell someone wants to grab a cheap waves.
Why are you complaining on censorship of the waves exchange? It is normal for them to not accept some because that is an exchange just like bittrex or polo were not all coin are being listed.

That's what I first thought. And after reading it, just confirmed.

But I think he's out of luck, and if he gets really lucky he even might get a negative feedback for this
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looks like WAVES is not really a decentralised platform (SCAM) on: June 13, 2017, 10:53:53 PM
Waves admin just banned NGR asset (niggercoin) from their "decentralised" exchange because it hurt someone's feelings. Not like I think it was great idea to promote such an asset on waves, yet it's not how this "decentralised" exchange supposed to work.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Wavesplatform/comments/6h15e5/waves_not_decentralised/
http://boards.4chan.org/biz/thread/2428429/wave-platform-cuts-ties-to-nigger-coins

Since waves claim they made "decentralised permissionless exchange" I think we can call it scam for now. Some people who "misbehave" will loose their money now.
It seems WAVES admins have full control over their exchange and can censor everything they want.

I highlighted the parts you seem very sure of what you're saying
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will soon be an altcoin on: June 13, 2017, 10:48:28 PM
Bitcoin turned into absolutle BS, it is slow it cant keep up with transactions and it looses more and more to Ethereum

I dont like ethereum that much either anymre since this piece of shit putin endorses it but its seems to be by far the best thing that is going on in Crypto

Bitcoin was cool, like 5 years ago but now noone wants to fuck with bitcoin anymore, even all the big darknet marketplaces are now using more and more altcoins because the shity bitcoin is not compatible anymore.

Bitcoin will go up to 3000 again and all the whales sell this shit for ethereum

Bitcoin is History

the same with Nintend, it was cool at the time of the gameboy but as son as sony went in the market, nintendo turned into garbage

Putin would endorse Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton for his vice presidency if that was a popular measure in Russia. Endorsing Ethereum it's just a way of him saying "we in Russia have the best of everything, even in crypto currencies".

If Ethereum turns out to be controlled by the "usual guys" and entities make no mistake, it will not be used by the common people. That being said, it will loose value and other coins will take its place. I think everyone in Ethereum team knows that very well
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins crash before the SegWit activation on the Bitcoin Blockchain ? on: June 13, 2017, 11:23:07 AM
So with Segwit you'll get lower fees ? Didn't know about that...
10  Economy / Economics / Re: How are we not INVADED yet? on: June 10, 2017, 10:20:26 PM
How exchanges/brokers/traders of non-crypto "stocks" have not invaded crypto platforms yet?

Crypto usually generates better profit (and better chances) than most stocks.

How people who live from stock-trading (e.g.: companies) have not invaded crypto yet?

(If we look at communities' sizes, their size is much-much larger)

Not sure if they aren't. 100Billion surely doesn't come from jack and jill...
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Invest Into DOGE? on: June 10, 2017, 10:10:48 PM
Why people should not invest in DOGE ? It's better to own DOGE than fiat, at least it's scarce
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Send Someone a Tip? on: June 10, 2017, 04:26:52 PM
The worst way is by bank transfer or credit card  Grin
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoins to buy? on: June 10, 2017, 02:29:10 PM
The good thing about Byteball is that you don't have to buy it, you get them for free if you have Bitcoins, so it is a risk free investment.

Wish there was more coins like Byteball

If you and everyone can get something for free it doesn't have much value...
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will cryptomania last? on: June 10, 2017, 02:03:29 PM
And cryptomania is a strong word. We haven't seen worldwide adoption yet, not even close
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will cryptomania last? on: June 10, 2017, 02:01:00 PM
How long will this phase of cryptomarket last where it is relatively normal to make a 100% ROI monthly?

Still there are some cryptos that could possibly go 20x times... How long will we be able to ride this wave and make profits which are remarkably high? 3 years? 5? 10?

As long as neoliberalism (classic liberalism) remains true

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long is a long-term hodl? on: June 10, 2017, 12:09:05 PM
Despite what anyone can say, Long term hold is holding a diversified portfolio for years, just with little changes between your holdings and some new serious projects or other real opportunities.

It's very hard to do because you need to have balls to endure through the corrections, that's why most people just hold for weeks maximum.

It doesn't make sense.

If you really believe in a project, why selling ?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs Legit/Legal? on: June 10, 2017, 11:52:25 AM
Is kickstarter legit/legal ? Smiley
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investing vs Altcoin trading on: June 10, 2017, 11:49:10 AM
Holding is much better because this is clearly an uptrend market, not sideways.

Also I find it very unlikely that you can make more money trading vs holding.

My favourite example is Litecoin. It went from around 4$ to around 20$ and never corrected to previous values. Not even close. Which means that if someone was trading at 4$ must have sold everything at around 5 or 6 ? They will never tell you... Smiley

On the other hand someone just holding a bag of Litecoins would have made an insane profit, I mean, still is.

Of corse some people do good trades, but I'd say 99,9% of the real winners are the long term holders.

Hope it helped
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wings Project and price on: June 09, 2017, 06:34:48 PM
Wings is a very promising project. If you havent heard about it, its worth to have a look
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: - Why I'm NOT selling my Ripple XRP - on: June 09, 2017, 06:33:28 PM
Some people hate Ripple but I still choose to NOT selling my XRP!

This is why:
- they are still alive, many coins from 2014 are almost dead, Ripple NOT and in top 3.

Ripple has working software, many coins just don't
15 of the top 50 banks work already with Ripple

Ripple employs over 150 people
Some coins have just one or two...

SBI Ripple China
https://ripple.com/ripple_press/ripple-strikes-multi-national-deal-with-sbi-holdings-to-meet-growing-demand-for-ripple-solutions-across-asia/

SBI Ripple India
state bank of india (sbi) is the government bank whose transaction is much more than another banks of india, if this is write that sbi approve ripple transaction then all other banks of india will definitely approve ripple then, INDIAN BANKS means a huge jump to ripple (total no bank 18 private sector bank, 28 public sector bank). IN SHORT what sbi did all banks of india definitely copy that.
alone sbi has more that 13000 branches in india huge news for ripple.

More countries and banks will join Ripple in the future

Ripple to Place 55 Billion XRP in Escrow to Ensure Certainty of Total XRP Supply
I don't see this happening with other coins.

Further Decentralizing the XRP Ledger
As we continue these initiatives to further decentralize the system, XRP Ledger will inherently become even more resilient. A key benchmark that we aim to achieve is to become more decentralized than Bitcoin, which at the time of writing is 51% controlled by just five mining pools. This means the largest five pools working together could achieve a 51% attack and reverse transactions (double spend) at will. For Ethereum, this number is even lower: only three pools are needed for a takeover. To match Bitcoin, XRP Ledger would need just 16 trusted validators. Add more, and the number of tolerable faults increases accordingly. In other words, XRP Ledger will not just meet, but exceed the decentralization level of other public blockchains.)

Ripple can scale to handle the same throughput as Visa, but more reliably and at a lower cost
https://ripple.com/insights/ripple-continues-to-bring-internet-of-value-to-life-new-features-increase-transaction-throughput-to-same-level-as-visa/

500 times faster then bitcoin

I don't care if they helping banks. I still need my bankaccount. I don't see any differents in 5 years.
That's why I see a good future for Ripple.

And you are right. I'm getting a bit tired of these guys saying ripple is a scam. Right, a 20 Billion scam...

When are these people going to stop ?
