Dont get me wrong, i dont need a daily payout, as im mining for mid to long term anyway, but i DO want the highest profit that is possible with my equipment. All things said; it makes or breaks if it is wise to buy more miners or not, and i would like to know it as fast as possible... Doesnt sound strange i guess..?
That's not strange at all. With Nicehash, you're starting off at a 30% loss because of the fees they take out. Their prices are a little over to what the miner would make otherwise not renting to them, and they take 30% from that. So you're effectively mining at a pool with 30% fees, but its truly pay per share, and you don't have to find blocks. With a real pool, you only get paid when we find a block. The hash rate of the pool and your miner equal your expected rewards over a long sample. Every pool has the same expected payout there. The only thing you can do, then, is focus on the pool with the lowest fee that has the highest block find rate based on your tolerance. Kano is that pool for me - at almost a block a day, I get steady income between the difficulty adjustments. Other pools with no fees would get me a higher per block reward, but fewer blocks, due to their low overall hash rate.

1 BTC = 1 BTC Just use the income tax % on the total amount of bitcoin, send that to the IRS Or, you could live in a jurisdiction that doesn't tax capital gains... Other people can do whatever hand waving and fancy tax tricks they want. I recognize a block reward as income once it hits 101 confirms and is sent by Kano. Keeps it easy for me, my taxes are nice and clean, and my mining LLC runs smooth.

But isn't that a meaningless number? You need to know what the price is when you convert to USD. You have to do that on one of the exchanges, because Kano doesn't speak USD (nor do we want him to).
Well, if you do your taxes the way my CPA told me, you're supposed to recognize mining income the moment it's generated to your wallet. The conversion to USD is meaningless.

What’s the average time we find a block in the pool?
On average, after 3,511,060,552,899 shares. At our current hash rate, that's 1day 5hr 44min 58sec. http://tradebtc.net/bitcalc.php has an easy calculator.

Kano,
I have checked the home page and within these treads and was not able to locate any info but was wondering if there was a way to set a payout amount? Looking to add some machines and would like to set payout if possible. I apologize if this has been covered but I was not able to locate anything.
Obviously not kano, but he's answered this before. You can't set your payout amount today. As long as its above the dust, you'll get it after 101 confirms + when the transaction is confirmed. In the future, he's building an accounting module. This will let you set payout timings - weekly or monthly, for example. However, I don't think it will let you keep some amounts and only pay out others.

Llllleeeeeerrrroooyyyy Jjjjjjjeeeeennnnkkkiiinnnnsss!!!!
Thanks for the block, Sidewinder!
LOL, when Blizzard releases the vanilla WoW server, it'd be fun to have a Kano raid guild to run MC, BWL, and all those fun things.

It is so tempting to buy some more S9s now that they're normally priced. Got 2 more on the way for the pool. Hopefully Halong ships my T1 soon too.
Remember new miners: You have to keep growing the hash rate to stay competitive!

Definitely committed to this. My order is in batch 2 or 3, but I’ll IRC or PM Kano when (if?) it arrives.

similar to what Canaan is doing by having kano.is as the factory default in their burn-in test process.
I figured something related to that is why Canaan don't talk to me any more. These days they only send me advertisements like any other customer. Do you know if Kano.is will be supporting version rolling asic boost and the DragonMint T1? I like the idea of a smaller pool but too small like 1 block a month scares me, I would be happy to join kano.is if they supported the T1. Kano said he'll support it if someone gets one and points it to a test pool so he can tune the pool's code and test ASICBOOST. I'll do that when mine arrives, if no one else beats me to it.

I guess I don't receive the coupons? Are they from Bitmain? How much are they knocking off and what is price for new S9 with power supply?
How can I get my hands on a few of he coupons? Is it a 1 per customer type coupon?
Thanks!
The coupons they announced today will be issued on April 1, according to the email. Its for people who bought a T9, S9, or L3 recently.

I also tried to order E9 controller - Lynn told me “E9 too old, no controller available.” So I got too working hash boards if anyone’s interested. Same here - have some perfect condition E9 hash boards and a crappy controller.

I wonder what the reason is that it seems like new blocks--for us at least--come in bunches. It seems like if we don't get another one in a short period of Nd afterward that it ends up taking a while. Funny how even trying to explain this makes it sound like I'm saying, "Why is it that if they're not quick, they're slow?"... Hilarious. Randomness is random - humans like to find patterns, though.

dose difficulty ever go down ? like if bitman was to shut off all there machines in the world would the difficulty get easy again Yes, difficulty can go down

Hi, whats about asic boost on kano?
Until someone has an ASICBOOST miner, like a DragonMint, that Kano can see how it hashes and test the code, it won't be supported. If mine ships on time I'll let him use it, or if someone gets one sooner, they can.
