Murray has another unlucky early draw again, he plays Shapovalov in their round of 32.

Bublik plays Machac today also, thats a tricky draw for both, the odds are 2.15 v 1.75,
that could go either way.

Zhang v Rublev - there could possibly be a slight chance of an upset there. but I'm not betting
on that outcome.

I wouldn't say that's unlucky for Murray. Shapovalov has been playing outrageously poorly so far this season. Actually I'm not even sure he won a single match this year, I don't remember it happening.

Bublik v Machac I'd bet on Bublik. And again, only based on his latest performance. He's been solid so far.

Zhang v Rublev. The Russian should be extra hungry after being eliminated in R1 during his previous tournament.

103  Economy / Economics / Re: Why no info about how serious are USA financial situation now ? on: February 25, 2024, 08:42:08 PM
Considering how United States economy has been a Ponzi scheme for a very long time, there is no doubt that it will collapse at some point and there are a lot of "info" a bout it everywhere you look. The thing is, people don't want to accept ugly truths and prefer living in denial. Additionally it is not possible to predict "when" that collapse will occur, "how big" will that collapse be, and "what" happens next.

Take the 2008 collapse.
It was impossible to predict "when" it happened. Many people were warning for years before it happened and yet the corrupt structure were being kept alive artificially and by more fraud.
It was impossible to predict "how bit" that collapse would be, we now know though.
Most importantly we couldn't predict the next step. You see, the Ponzi scheme didn't die, it just got bigger to survive that  collapse and postpone the catastrophe and that scam has continued to this day.

The USA financial system is now close to collapse we are few days away from default.
In this case only way untfortunately will be full scale war.
The amount of debt ....it can not be balanced out with small crisis.
The problem is the nonstop printing of dollar out of thin air while keeping its value up artificially. Otherwise they'd just increase the debt ceiling again and default is averted.

As for war, that too costs a lot of money. Money US regime no longer has. Specially in today's world where "fighting cheap" wins you wars not "fighting big with a lot of money".

Take the ongoing war against a prison called Gaza. The entire NATO is helping the genocide with hundreds of billions of dollars and over that past 4-5 months their only achievement they had was killing innocent civilians while the damage on the armed forces of Gaza has been so minimal that it is negligible!!!
Why? Because a $6-$7 million tank can be blown up with a cigarette lighter that's worth like 5 bucks or a Yasin anti-tank missile worth 100 bucks. Or a $30 million US stealth aircraft can be shot down like a piece of cake with a missile that costs a grand.

Although we can't factor in the stupidity of decision makers, but US has fallen behind the military technology and strength. There is no way for the regime to win any wars anymore.

I remember the times of the USSR, when we were told every day, on all 3 TV channels (and there were no more), about the "rotting US economy", about the imminent collapse of their economy, and a bunch of similar "nice articles" like pooya87 Smiley. But. The USA is still the world leader, the USSR has dissolved into history leaving a toxic stain in the form of an international terrorist country. And what about Iran, whose representative so regularly talks about the problem and the impending collapse of the US economy ? Smiley
Instead of a thousand words, one graph. No, this is not a graph of growth of wealth of Iran's inhabitants, and not a graph of growth of Iran's military-industrial complex, and not a graph of population growth.... It's a graph of the total failure of the Iranian rial.... But for some reason pooya87 never says a word about it ! The question is why ?   Grin

Why no info about how serious are Iran financial situation now ?  Grin

Why are you suddenly so interested in Iran's economy? Last time I checked it was doing ok. It's growing, you can check the stats, but nobody really cares because it's world's #19 economy not world's #1 like the US. Rial is getting weaker? So what? Inflation doesn't necessarily mean that country's economy is failing. But you don't undertand or you pretend you don't understand because you're a lying troll.  Cool
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing on: February 25, 2024, 04:47:31 PM
It appears that after having Larry Fink as the new mayor of bitcoin we might have a president of America that will be supporting bitcoin if Trump gets the victory on November hehehe. This is certainly shocking and very unexpected. I did not know bitcoin and the cryptospace would bring him much votes because why is he doing this if this is not a trick for bitcoiners to vote him?

Former United States President Donald Trump and the leading Republican candidate for November’s election appears to be warming toward Bitcoin  BTC +1.25% , having been critical of cryptocurrencies in the past.

In January, Trump said he'll “never allow” central bank digital currency issuance in the U.S. if elected. “Such a currency would give the federal government, our federal government, absolute control over your money… They could take your money and you wouldn’t even know it was gone,” he warned at the time.

In a recent town hall on Fox News, alongside South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, Trump was asked if the next logical step was for him to embrace Bitcoin, given that it’s decentralized, the government can't get its hands on it and all the young people who are particularly interested in it, host Laura Ingraham suggested.

“I always liked one currency. I call it a currency. I like the dollar, but a lot of people are doing it [Bitcoin] and frankly, it's taken on a life of its own,” Trump replied. “You probably have to do some regulation, as you know, but many people are embracing it. And more and more, I'm seeing people wanting to pay Bitcoin, and you're seeing something that's interesting, so I can live with it one way or the other.”

Read in full https://www.theblock.co/post/278786/donald-trump-bitcoin-embracing

Frankly, I'm not surprised by this news. More and more Bitcoin naysayers are admitting Bitcoin is here to stay (except Jamie Dimon haha). Trump is not stupid, he can see the positive aspects of Bitcoin.

Kalinskaya failed to become champion in Dubai after Paolini managed to beat her in three sets and this was a very close match, it was quite unfortunate that in the third set Kalinskaya lost her focus which made her opponent manage to take four games in a row to ensure the title.
Yes, quite unbelievable, Kalinskaya was leading 5:3 in the final set and overall she looked like a better player on court that day. But... yeah it's a mental thing...

Next week we're having: Dubai ATP, San Diego WTA, Austin WTA and Acapulco ATP. These are the tournaments to watch out for. In Dubai all eyes on 2023 champion Daniil Medvedev.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: February 25, 2024, 08:44:22 AM
I think a reasonable approach to investing in Bitcoin lets say 1000 USD is :

The worst what can happen is that you lose the 1000 USD.

The best what can happen is that you make possibly 350 x profit = 350 000 USD

So maybe worth the risk to invest in Bitcoin...

Smiley

Actually, you can't lose $1000. For this to happen, Bitcoin will have to go to zero, which is not very realistic. Every next cycle's bottom is around the previous cycle's top: previous cycle's top was around $69k so if you invest now, you can't lose anything, you can only gain or break even at worst.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: The Same way like money is created you can use this trick to become wealthy on: February 24, 2024, 08:45:40 PM
So to get more wealth use cheat code:
Give promise today that for example you will have some goal or amount of money after one month.
You promise yourself and even If all of this not become reality some % of this will become into real.
The word " i promise" have strong power more than you could imagine.
So you need to use "i promise" first and then describe the outcome and the magic will make it even happening by someone else If you are not capable to do this by yourself.
Remember universe reads the Code this is correct way to give order to "universe the big computer " the Code example: " i promise myself and others that i have on this date that much money or bitcoin"

Remember universe are designed the way so it will take the order and process it best way possible.
If you do not use right code words nothing happens.
Now the universe will read the code and the computer Will take your order and start processing it.
But the strongest key word are always "i promise"

It's like the universe are one big computer wich reading the Code the way you talking and words you using have power.
The funny part of this are the thing that If you do not have much the resources and capabilities then universe will be like banker he will divide the cost of energy with all the others becouse you use word "i promise" the universe will take that word for sure and will do best way as possible to give you results you described with given time frame.
That's our financial world are based on "i promise" word

Use this method with action becouse without action unlikely Will happening

Try this method and let others know how it was Smiley

I wonder how did you find out about this method? Did you try it yourself? Did it work for you?

Why did you decide to share this method? A couple of years ago I'd say that this is BS and that you'ŗe crazy but I've met a person who could do lots of crazy things including future-telling and some paranormal stuff. This person passed away unfortunately but I now believe that such weird methods may actually work...  Cool
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 24, 2024, 03:59:14 PM
I too like his play, being an all-rounder is far better than being a specialist in one area,
like some players who kind of rely on a superior service game.

True, but how many, serve specialists, for example, are there on tour right now? Frankly, I can't think of any! There were Karlovic, Isner, Opelka but what about now? The same goes to serve & volley specialists (McEnroy, Pat Rafter) I suspect there are none. Modern tennis is getting more universal, you have to adapt to stay competitive.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: No petrol/diesel car sales by 2035/ Reality or dream? on: February 24, 2024, 03:45:43 PM
A couple of days ago, several big car manufacturers announced that they will keep the conventional internal combustion engines in production. R&D teams are going back to the labs until at least 2039. Why such a decision has been made? Was it caused by the Tesla meltdown in the US this winter? Or perhaps Toyota bosses being sceptical about EV? I'm not sure what was the reason, but many people are starting to admit that EV tech is not mature enough to be used en masse yet.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: February 24, 2024, 12:52:46 PM
Can you explain why the cheap russian gas was twice as expensive before the invasion of Ukraine than what LNG is now?
https://www.ice.com/products/27996665/Dutch-TTF-Natural-Gas-Futures/data?marketId=5733529&span=3
Because if Europe was buying in February 2022 gas at an average of 40Euros per MW and is buying now at an average of 25Euros from the US seems like it's the other way around in terms of cheapness!  Grin

Also, it might be very stupid for China to delay the power of Siberia to buy gas from Russia while importing record highs of Us LNG?
They are also stupid, right?  Grin

Get over it, Russia shot itself in the foot and its left with no money even for bandages while their formers allies will not trust them again no matter what!
I hate to spoon-feed people and explain simple things but I will make an exception for you. Perhaps that's because nobody knew what is going to happen next and they bought as much gas as they could? Once the gas storage facilities were full and there was some clarity about LNG deliveries from the US, the prices started going down. After that, the US started dumping with their cheap LNG. Something is still not clear?

The question is for how long can the US sell LNG at an affordable price to the EU?

Frankly, I don't give a damn about Russia. I'm not Russian, I've never been to Russia (even as a tourist). But while you're jerking off to the price drop in Excel tables and futures and stuff like that, real common people's sufferings go on. I can see my gas bill going up (another increase starting January 2024), oil prices are going up too. For some reason they haven't heard anything about energy costing less at my local gas station and they keep charging me more.  Grin Grin Grin

Even Salt Bae restaurant selling £680 steaks are trying to save on heating and energy: https://www.theguardian.com/business/2024/feb/19/salt-bae-restaurant-steak-heating-nusr-et-steakhouse-profits

Meanwhile in Los Cabos, Zverev lost his semi-final match against Jordan Thompson 7:5, 4:6, 7:6. It was a very spectacular match, very close. Long rallies prevailed and the Aussie was winning most of them. Zverev's serve wasn't working as it should. In the tie-breaker, Zverev won the first point by breaking Thompson's serve but that was it: next 6 points were lost making it 1:6. Thompson won the tie-break eventually and will be playing Ruud in the final tomorrow.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 24, 2024, 06:48:34 AM
Watched Ostapenko vs Kalinskaya today. Gotta watch out for Kalinskaya more often as she looked solid in rallies as well as serve. An upset by beating an ex-Grandslam Champion, who's been having a fairly consistent season. If the draw is favourable, Kalinskaya could reach quarters or semis at least.
Don't tell me that I didn't warn y'all. Kalinskaya beat Iga to reach the finals and will face another surprising Finalist Paolini, who will break into the top 20 in the WTA rankings for the first time in her career. My money is on Kalinskaya to win the finals. She's hitting really well and can move fairly well.
Paolini has a better ranking than Kalinskaya but is not more favored in this final, and between the two, Kalinskaya has been more tested, at least before the final, having beaten two top players, while Paolini slightly benefited from the illness of Rybakina, who had a walkover in the quarterfinals.
I agree with you in choosing Kalinskaya in this final, she played very well and this year her career would have been even better if no injuries had bothered her, and beating Swiatek was a surprise and the number one player looked frustrated in that semis match.

ATP Doha, young Czech tennis player made a surprise by reaching his first final, Jakup Mensik beat French player Gael Monfils in a three set match this was an interesting match and will face Khachanov.

Tsitsipas lost to Ruud in a two set battle, this time Ruud played very well because usually he will have difficulty facing top players, the other final is still waiting for the results of Zverev vs Thompson, the first set is still going quite tough because no one can take this set.

If I'm not mistaken, this Mensik guy has already disappointed #1 seed Rublev in a quarterfinal? He has also eliminated Andy Murray earlier in the same tournament. Not sure if he has a chance against Khachanov though. The in-form Russian has improved a lot this year and is ready for top 10, perhaps even top 5.

Kalinskaya will definitely win in Dubai, if she won't get injured. Paolini has much less fuel left in her tank.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: February 23, 2024, 11:58:24 PM
I'm self-employed now and I gamble sometimes, so I guess that could qualify as gambling at work? Although, I must admit when I worked at my 9-5 job I've never gambled at work.

As to exceeding gambling budget, I always gamble for fun so I only risk with what I can afford to lose. Just my 2c.
It qualifies, but since you are your own boss you are not running the risk of those above you discovering what you are doing, taking it the bad way and fire you on the spot.

However even if this cannot happen to you, there are jobs that require that you are fully concentrated on what you are doing or you could make a costly mistake, so as long as the job you are doing does not require such a condition, I suppose there is nothing wrong with gambling at your job.

You're right, there is a certain risk but I try to gamble responsibly and don't spend much time and money on betting. Placing a bet or two between my daily tasks won't affect my work performance in a negative way. In fact, it can be the opposite: you relax and unwind and get back to your work duties with fresh energy and enthusiasm.  Cool
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Couple won the jackpot but split soon after! on: February 23, 2024, 11:11:07 PM
Quote
A couple, who had been dating for a mere three months before they won an eye-watering $1.9 million dollars, split soon after.

Source: https://www.news.com.au/finance/money/wealth/lotto-war-i-won-19million-lotto-with-my-girlfriend-then-she-dumped-me-out-of-the-blue/news-story/c1f568efd16ff7f0aa0efe72652cabe5

Based on the situation of this couple, regardless of them being split soon after the winning, I think the best thing to do here is to cut the prize into half so that tensions between the two parties will de-escalate and avoid any confrontation or emotional turmoil and stress that sometimes end up so badly on both of them. Ego clash won't bear good results that is why we need to keep ourselves calm and fair with others especially in a situation like this.

Have you ever tried something like this situation before?
So what is your thoughts on this, 50/50 good for you or nah?
Will you insist to have an ego battle if you are on the same situation?
If your answer is yes then Why?
And if no then why not?
What are the things you would do to resolve the issue?
How do you think you can handle this kind of situation?

In fact, it's quite common for people winning lotteries, jackpots etc to break up after they receive the winnings. Why? I suspect that's because many people are showing their true face after they become rich. Some understand they've been living with a wrong person for all these years together.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Warning: Cryptocurrency Theft Involving Kaspersky Password Manager - My Story" on: February 23, 2024, 09:23:18 PM
Dear colleagues,

I want to share a story with all of you that happened to me and may be of interest to everyone who uses cryptocurrencies and security technologies. My name is Igor, I am a resident of the city of Slavgorod in the Altai Krai, Russia.

On July 12, 2023, I became a victim of cryptocurrency theft in the amount of 1.32605552 BTC. I had access to my wallet only on a paper medium, as well as through Kaspersky Password Manager, where 12 secret words were stored to access the wallet in the Trust Wallet application on my iPhone XS Max. Amazingly, my funds were transferred to another wallet, despite the fact that I did not receive any phishing or spam emails. Kaspersky suggested contacting the police to initiate an official investigation, which I did. A criminal case was opened, but, unfortunately, Kaspersky does not respond to police requests.

I am convinced that employees of Kaspersky are involved in this case, as I have a similar wallet on another iPhone with the same secret words in Trust Wallet, but without using Kaspersky Password Manager, and my funds remain intact on it.

It is very important to me that other users learn about this fraudulent scheme to avoid becoming its victims. The lost funds are of great value to me, so I appeal to you for support and advice. Perhaps someone among you has encountered a similar situation and can share their experience and advice.

Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Igor.

Sorry for your loss, 1.32BTC is a lot of money. But let's see. First of all, there is no proof that the reason it happened was a Kaspersky product. Apart from phishing, there are lots of other ways bad guys can steal your precious coins.

I somehow didn't get the part regarding the second copy of your wallet on your phone.. You claim that your balance is still there? How is that possible?

It's unbelievable! I guess nobody could have predicted the final between Kalinskaya and Paolini. So many big names: Sabalenka, Swiatek, Rybakina, Gauff but all of them got eliminated on the way to the final. Nice opportunity for Kalinskaya: she could enter top 30 if she wins the title.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you stand to gain from the bull run. on: February 22, 2024, 11:38:28 PM
As the bull run is right around the corner, most of us newbies have heard about it,  and even the experience crypto enthusiastic knows how and what always transpired during the bull run, but the sad reality is that not everyone will gain from it,  so my question is that what measures have you put in place to be among the beneficiary of the bull run?

We should start asking ourselves question like, how far have we gone in our Bitcoin accumulating process?  If the bull run comes this week, how much can we milk out from our current holdings? if we had any.

For procrastinators, It's high time you all start accumulating Bitcoin aggressively through the DCA method, so that you wouldn't be left out from such an amazing opportunity.

Very good reminder for those who are not familiar with Bitcoin cycles. I can only add that Bitcoin bull run is already under way. You probably meant that current cycle's top is approaching? Anyway, most important now is to continue hodling if your bags are full (or buy more in case they're not).  Cool
118  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: February 22, 2024, 11:22:44 PM
Europe is almost free of Russian gas imports after Russia cut gas supplies to Europe following its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Europe receives about 12 billion cubic meters of gas per year through Ukraine. Before the war, Russia supplied Europe with 155 billion cubic meters of gas per year.

Europe gained nothing from this move. In fact they only lost (cheap gas they were buying from Russia). Europe now almost completely depends on the US natural gas exports. The US cancelling exports for any reason (strategic etc) will leave EU with no gas reserves.

The remaining routes were somehow disrupted or disabled.

Not somehow, the US and their allies have blown up the Nord Stream pipelines in 2022. It's an act of international terrorism.

Biggest hit will get Luxury goods and yachts and expensive art work.
Then will be cars and real estate europe UK USA and Canada off course.
Real estate it depends but over Southern europe like spain Costa del sol Im expecting one of the biggest real estate  crash.
But Luxury goods and brands will take first hit i think biggest hit will take expensive art work.

Everything what's not i
Im expecting the crash will start in few months.

I don't agree, recession facilitates the dying out of the middle class, the gap between the poor and the rich is getting bigger all the time. This means there will be more poor people but also more rich. So the demand for luxury goods should only increase. Let's wait and see.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s, Altcoin’s Private Keys are all Compromised. Second proof. on: February 22, 2024, 10:32:54 PM

The below is the private key of my own wallet address. Its has no balance in it. I have shown here just to prove that this private key is compromised. Same way all Bitcoins and altcoins private keys are compromised. To find out how, read at below link.

Process:
Google the below private key.

80221fa8ca82eda1a3c98eb0f1882c398d825b670a2c38435164771a253ce821

Then check the " Image section" of search result. One will find "Alamy "named website's images appeared at search result.
Same way one can also check any random private key and the result will always be the same - Alamy site Images always showup.

Question is why it happens?

While doing google search with any private key, it shows only and only Alamy site at search image result.
Why? There are billions of website, Google can show it, but why only Alamy sites Images?

Answer is:  All cryptocurrency private keys are embeded in codes, in a secret way, at all Images of Alamy website.
Therefore Google algorithm shows such result.

Find out more here at link:

How come such FUD always shows up right before the final stage of the bull market? OMG, all private keys are compromised! That's scary, sell all your coins now!  Grin

Just admit it: you didn't buy enough Bitcoin during the bear market?  Grin
