It's just manipulation. Coin is not dead. EAC will be pumped soon Smiley That is why I bought a lot of this coin Smiley Smiley Smiley

People have been saying that for the last several hundred pages lol.

Do you believe me now? When I say something, it happens.

This happens occasionally. Small pump. Then back to zero. I suspect the same.

Oh look. I was right lol.

Coin is pumped now, but it will take few days. Do you remember how DOGE was pumped? Firstly pump to 40, dump to 30, pump to 40, dump to 35........... And then to the sky Smiley You said EAC is dead. Just wait few days and we can talk who was right.

I waited a few days to give you the benefit of the doubt. Yet. I'm still right. This coin won't make it. Vald is on the money here. The price of EAC has been in a downward spiral since before it even hit cryptsy.

SWEET PUMP BRO

I know you guys are pissed that you lost your ass in EAC, but have some dignity and admit defeat and move on. You guys are getting to be as diluted as the Coinye crowd

When is the next pump guys?
Soon IMO! Not a lot of cheap EAC for sale...

and not a lot of people willing to buy it unless it's cheap...
hence the 5+ BTC worth of buy orders at 10sat...

Shocked What the fuck are you talking about!!!??? SMALL PUMP?Huh WE ARE TALKING ABOUT 40 BTC!!!!! If you call that small, then i'm sure that you don't mind to give me a small amount of just 1 BTC, PM for more information.

Small pump as in small results. The price went up less than 10sat. Big whoop.

love what the devs are doing with this coin! their hard work is really showing in the markets... ie, freefall for months

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

get real guys. how delusional can you get? coin is dead. like most other scrypt coins. it's like the freaking People's Temple around here. one dev jumped ship already... might be a sign

Odd. That doesn't seem to be happening to me since waffle is still reporting the correct hashrate
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: March 29, 2014, 01:40:32 AM
What's all this talk of another "attack"?? The only attack I'm aware of was the DDOS a few days ago. And I haven't seen pool waffle mention another attack, unless I've missed it.

Sounds like you conspiracy theorists are claiming someone is stealing your hashing power? I've seen no dropping in hashrate reported by waffle. The Hashrate reported by waffle if still on par with what cgminer reads. And I've been running the same config on waffle for over a month without reconfiguring anything.

Glad I could help. Play around with the core clocks and see if you can get more hashes. I suspect you can probably get 470-480 with 1100 core clock. Just watch your temps. Also. Remove the -I 18 flag. It is not needed when running xIntensity.

I have the same card and get 465+ with it. Download the Kalroth modified cgminer

-X 4 (xIntensity)
-g 2
-TC 8193

BTW, can't believe I missed that.  *shakes fist*

Also, after working with the devs for a little, I believe the overall strategy was to make it so that no one person was in charge of the entire premine.  That means if one of the original devs went rogue, they couldn't run off the entire premine.   Again, look at what happened with Pandacoin in the last few days and see what happens when the premine goes to one person.  They can DUMP THE WHOLE THING.  That meant that there were several pots.  When some sort of campaign was started (such as funding giveaway/promotions, faucets, bounties, etc) then people would have to pull from the individual pots that they controlled and pool into bigger pot that was designated for the next round of bounties or giveaways or whatever.

I know that when I was bountied, I only received it from one address, but the other devs had conversations leading up to it saying they were putting X-amount into the bounty pool and I was paid from that pool.

Maybe the others can chime in here, but I believe that's the way the finances work.

that didnt explain the need to create a new address to send the "remainder" to after every single transaction. after every transaction the old address was emptied and abandoned. this is thousands of transactions.

your post said nothing on this subject. just the same as before "it was used for bounties, giveaways, etc"

I was laughing when I read this. Your ignorance of how tx input/output works does not make you an argument against the dev. Think who would make this to empty an address and move remainder to another one? Why not go check blockchains like Bitcoin or Litecoin? or any other coin? see similar patterns? know how tx in/out work? Learn man, but before you understand it, don't post stupid things like this... it just make people who understand it laugh Grin

Actually I do know. And I've looked at my own chain. The patterns are NOT the same. When I send money it goes from my address to the destination with some going back to MY ADDRESS. And not my entire balance either.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [2014 FLAGSHIP ALT] *EarthCoin* EAC +1 Community, +1 Exec Team, +1 Best Talent on: February 26, 2014, 12:13:09 AM
<snip>
ok, thats all fine and good. but you fail to comment on the obvious.

WHY SEND ALL COINS TO A NEW ADDRESS EACH TRANSACTION??

that makes no sense. your point would be more valid if all of the bounties and faucets, etc were all paid from the same address, and you would see multiple withdraws from that address for each item paid. why complicate the transaction history? its obvious the road is intentionally being forked multiple times to try to conceal the trail. sure maybe someone just wants to move all the coins to new address sometimes. thats reasonable. but EVERY TRANSACTION?? no.

Stop beating a dead horse and do some research.
This is known as "change address" and is part of the anonymous design of Bitcoin.

When you send a transaction the remaining amount i.e. change gets sent to another address. Someone can correct me but the Windows Wallet creates 100 address by default in your wallet. (i.e. you can backup your wallet.dat and do 99 transactions and still have the relevant keys to your coins).

Lol no. That's not how it works. Nice try.

OK, I'll mention the elephant in the room,-
Are we even minining anything today? The total line is almost completly flat since the last payout.

Looks like I picked the wrong day to jump into this pool.

As for ways of camparing pools, the thing that everyone seems to be missing is that this pool has an inconsistent unexchanged. The easiest way to take this into account I believe is to calculate the BTC/day/MH on the Total balance (immature+unex+balance), not on the payout. Sure this may be off a little if the estimated exchage rate changes but, this change is a lot less than the amount of variation in the unexchanged amount. Afterall, your going to get the unexchanged amount at some point, why not include it in the calculation for the day that you actually earned it?

As for worrying about a payout at 1:30 or 4:30, yes that will skew a single number, but after 10 -20 days the variation will be averaged out and be insignificant since for each shorther day their is a longer one right next to it. (The unexchanged issue is a much bigger factor IMO).

We could be carrying 1000BTC in Unexchanged. But who cares? In my BTC wallet is all that matters.

are you taking into account the large amount of BTC carried over every day on middlecoin? from people who arent paid due to being <.01.
also are you taking into account the ACTUAL time between payout? (1.023 days, 0.923 days, etc)

if both of these things are not acounted for, it will introduce significant error.

None of them are under consideration. The only thing I care about is how big was the payout today per MHs contributed.
BTC carried over per day is something every multi-pool has so there is no need for accounting for that rather than to have a what I don't get today I'll get tomorrow thought.

It would probably be possible to make it all more exact, but I'm just after an estimate.

then unfortunately your numbers will be skewed high. in this caseyou're not actually tracking what was earned. you are only tracking the final balance at time of payout (but not all of that balance is being paid, hence rollover)

the whole point of measuring in BTC/MH is for scaleability.

your numbers will not scale properly to individuals and will always read higher than actual earnings.

Who made  http://poolpicker.eu/ ?
If it's accurate the conclusion is: They're all about the same so just relax.  Cheesy

That would be me. Smiley

Nicely done. Everyone loves a horse race and I like that you kept it simple.

I'm wondering what your methodology is. I'm assuming that you just collect published data from each pool. It could be done with a carefully run mining setup too which would  be another interesting approach. It would be nice to see a sentence or two on the page explaining it.

And maybe short essay somewhere with the details...  Grin

Thanks a lot Smiley

The way I do it is that I daily collect the stats for paidout/pool speed for each pool from their own stats page or api if available.
For middlecoin I just tap into my data collector that I use for http://mc-watcher.eu and grab the stats from there.

I would have loved to have a mining setup to collect the data but that would be way out of my budget, and also a bit misleading depending on ping/different servers etc.

Hey fellas, after being cussed out and told I was the devil this is refreshing to see some team work.  I have worked in many businesses and have never seen a phenomenon that generally brings out the best in people - USUALLY.  For gamblers it does not really apply.

I have said this time and again.  A deflationary currency by nature is very unappealing as 80% of its growth curve is spent declining hehe.  However these are the times where the community spreads out, content is created for that inevitable moment.

Something I am hoping  to see is some foresight from some miners who have huge amounts of assets.  For example to make 100,000,000 coins more valuable you have to find worthwhile projects to put 50,000,000 of them to use such that the remaining 50,000,000 are worth more than the original 100,000,000.  Common sense.  But I am not sure if it is that common of sense amoungst our players.  As well finding worthy projects to create value is a difficult task in the same instance.  We have been scammed more than you can imagine.  Kind of funny haha.

Anyway 10 million more coins have been added to an asset pool with which I have direction.  When looking for projects to promote I look more at the person and their abilities than the concept itself.  This is a long road that requires belief with no guarantee of reward!  Not the most attractive of scenarios but with positive beliefs, anything can happen.

What exactly are you trying to say here?

typical corporate circle jerk and use of buzzwords. sounds good, means nothing. there's literally no meat there. basically he's saying "do something to make your coins worth more, then they will be worth more" with no clues or ideas on what exactly that "something" is.

reading that is like listening to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: February 25, 2014, 04:45:35 PM
I just noticed on the main graph that the total BTC (all users) does not go back to 0 at the end of the pay day, even far from it (~ 80-90 BTC maybe). I actually looked at that graph the last few days and that's why I decided to mine again at MC, thinking the pool was getting at least 0.01 BTC/(Mh/s)/day (170-200 BTC/day for ~14000Mh/s). It seems that I actually got much less than that the last 12 hours; I probably made a mistake in estimating the perfs per day by not paying attention to the initial BTC at the beginning of the day.

So I first thought there was a bug with the graph, and then I though: do all these BTC not being paid every day come from many users with very small balance? I know I've had one for a few days. I guess you'd need quite a few users with a balance less than 0.01 BTC (~8000 ?).

the BEST way to track pool performance is to track your individual earnings. you must have enough hash to get paid every day, and you must have a stable rig that isnt fluctuating a lot (like a lot of downtime).

you cant just take the total BTC balance, because 1, that itsnt accounting for the fees skimmed off by the pool owner, and 2, yes, there is a significant amount of BTC left over every day from small miners that werent paid (50-100 BTC worth). without an accurate way to see that carry over, you can only guestimate the amount (unless you happen to see it RIGHT after payout).

so tracking personal earnings of a stable rig is better since it will go back to zero after each payout.

you also should be taking into account the exact payout times (and hence, exact time between payout) and not just saying, "i got paid on monday, and then tuesday, thats 1 day!", when in reality you got paid at 2am monday and 4am tuesday, which is slightly longer than 1 day.

a lot of people over simplify things, make too many assumptions, and come up with incorrect, or padded, BTC/MH figures
