101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: October 02, 2016, 11:08:17 AM

You said his new project is Doblon/louisd'or. I didn't find anything on Github or on the web. What is your source of information? Where did you see that work? How can you say it is good?

The coin he left BBR to work on is Louisd'or (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=887482.140)

If you read the Louisd'or thread you will see that beta software has been promised a number of times - the last time it was promised was in March and since then there has been nothing, not even a post to explain the delay. It looks like another abandoned project.

CZ is flighty, nipping from one project to another, which is fair enough, but it leaves investors in the shit.

This coin needs a full-time director, not some brilliant, but erratic dev.

If you would like to keep the market listed, please encourage the development team to contact us at support@bittrex.com.

23rd of September is the date of execution.

I'm encouraging you, dev.  Cheesy

Edit:

Actually, hasn't the threat passed? The 2.2BTC volume today takes us over the 0.2BTC daily volume (averaged over seven days) required.

Am I right?
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [KOBO] Kobocoin - An African peer to peer payment/micropayment system on: September 17, 2016, 12:48:39 AM
Been watching Kobocoin for quite a long time now. There seems to be long game potential here, but I just have no idea how popular cryptocurrency possibly is in Africa...

Well, Kobo offers all of the same benefits as MPESA, but without the cost. MPESA is huge in Africa.

I can't understand why this coin has such a low market cap, it's only $56,000, less than many miserable shitcoins without purpose. The dev is public and has been working at this for nearly two years with very little recognition for his efforts. The wallet is great, simple to use and quick. It's fully functional on Android, Mac, PC and Linux... where's the problem?

It seems to me that this has the potential of explosive growth with just a little good news, hopefully the talk at the Houses of Parliament can provide that little spark.

Anyway, I'm hanging in.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: September 15, 2016, 12:09:05 AM
How about we rename Boolberry to Boolcoin?

Bool reprents the 0 or 1. It is more or less like Bit.

If you say one Bit, it would be a 0 or an 1.

If you say one Bool, it would be a 0 or an 1 as well.

Does it make sense?

Are you fucking serious?  Grin

We have gone through this name-change trauma twice already, it was hugely contentious and ultimately pointless. It was BBR's "Brexit" moment - "Boolberry" won on both occasions, it's settled.

The name is fine, leave it alone. Life's too short.

That's also true. If Zoidberg says bye to us all and takeover happens, this will be one of the first things to do. No problem paying for the work done, but there wasn't much of it in the past year or so.

This coin's biggest asset and it's greatest headache has been the talented, but mercurial dev.

Zoidberg should definitely be chief coder (if he wants to), but someone else should take over the day to day running of it, someone less ephemeral.  Wink

The Louisd'or project that Zoidberg was working on also seems to be dead in the water with a beta release promised six months ago and, since then, nothing at all. I'm sensing deja vu here.

If some set-up could be organised where Zoidberg was overseeing BBR, but still be able to come and go as he pleases whilst others take care of the stuff he finds boring... we might be on to something and the prospects for BBR could only improve.

As for the 1% dev fee, I'm happy for Zoidberg to keep what he has (it's well deserved) and he should continue getting it if he can find a way to become involved again. Otherwise, I think the fee should be raised to 2% and used for the betterment of BBR, be it promotion, buying in expertise, whatever.

Finally, before anyone starts again, the name is cool.  Grin

Way too not address any points

You're not interested in having your points addressed, you just want to FUD.

Not sure why you zeroed in on Jewels

Because well over half the posts of your three day old "LegendaryLamer" account are on the Jewels thread... it's you who has "zeroed in on Jewels".
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ GameCredits - The future of in-game monetization ★★★ on: August 30, 2016, 01:22:46 AM

*Snipped the bullshit.

Why do you feel it necessary to come here and spread your shit on a coin that doesn't even occupy the same space as Jewels? Is it because you are eleven?  Huh

There's room for both coins, you don't need to feel threatened.

By the way, how's the Jewels ICO going? On target?

Thanks... looking forward to it.

They normally come out on Tuesday. And they are sometimes weekly but not during these summer months.

Thanks dude.... how long is it since newsletter 12 was published?

Newsletter with new announcements coming out this week.

How often do these newsletters come out and is there a set day for the release of newsletters?

There's no date on the previous newsletters, perhaps there should be.

How much are server costs?

Not much.

I can provide a Vultr instance for a couple of months.

I can set it up with apache, php, whatever is needed - or I can just provide the login and you do it all yourself.

How big is the Soil blockchain now?

Maybe others could chip-in to provide it longer term or upgrade it if necessary?

Its not just about one server instance whole network. It should be decentralised around a world. Core nodes places at all locations America Europe Australia Asia. Where are other services like network stats, domains, web hosting maybe community mining pool.

The server I am offering is for the website not the nodes, the website will very happily run on a small server instance.

Does anyone have a way to get in touch with abvhiael ?

I sent a pm a week ago and cannot find an email address... I need to speak to him pretty quickly.

Cheers.

Bittrex have sent an email out saying they are going to de-list Kobo.

It might be worth sending them a quick email outlining recent developments and future plans to get them to hold-off from this.

I've already sent one, but more is better.

Smiley

read carefully, it's not about delisting, which happened long ago, it's about final wallet removal

Lol.

I had just woken-up and that was the first email I saw.... I even knew Kobo had been de-listed already!

Too tired, I'm going back to bed....
