101  Economy / Economics / Re: How is financial stability defined for you? on: November 08, 2021, 04:50:15 PM
Well having more than what you need and could still live even with high inflation means you have a good financial stability. Even if something happens, your financial status will not be affected and your needs are still met. Financial stability for me is about how sound your financial status even after a tragedy. And you can just obtain that by saving. Having investments for the future and having high passive income. Can be through crypto or your businesses.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and wealth as the major religions in world. on: November 07, 2021, 04:17:13 PM
More than Half of the life span of the human race is centred on making of money or wealth.
Because without it, what would we eat? We need money to have the freedom to buy things that we need and almost all of the time, these things are needed. Water. Food. Clothes. All that needs money to buy and it takes time to accumulate one. However, lets not forget that money is only a medium of exchange to the things that we need. Happiness by heart can't be bought by that.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: 6 billion to solve world hunger? on: November 07, 2021, 04:12:00 PM
It wont. The mere fact that most are affected by poverty, 6B$ isn't enough. It needs global cooperation as well as programs to eradicate such problem in the society. Added by corruption and greedy politicians, UN cant solve it really. What we need is a global education system for the poor and how to get out of that situation. Help them get a job and give hope for those who lost it. Poor people usually are lazy due to their surroundings and lack of hope for their future. It is a generation passed to another generation mentality and those who have the guts to break that system wins. Help them by educating them properly. We needs 100B$ for that and global unity.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for the future. on: November 07, 2021, 04:05:55 PM
I agree with some of your point being presented but I don't think that not going to school makes a difference also. I love in a 3rd world country where applying for a job needs a degree or a diploma even for those at the sales department. Well for me, it is wise for us to adopt in these changing times. 1 work will never suffice for the preparation of our future. It needs a decent paying job and a side hustle added by investments. In my country, working for the government is great rather than those private firms. It pays a decent salary but still small compare to sales. And btw, Social Media creators/influencers earns more money than most profession.

106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX or Binance? on: November 04, 2021, 12:32:10 PM
Well lots of issues are being thrown to Binance these days like locking of account without any prior warnings hence locking up funds. Personally, I haven't encountered these accusations but lots of proofs were available. Another thing to be considered in choosing between the two is volume. Binance is far ahead in terms of volume. Its 39B$ daily volume is far ahead to FTX 3.7B$. Nonetheless, im pretty comfortable with binance. I don't know but for me its far superior in terms of volume and activity. But, FTX CEO vision is much profound than Cz. His mission to help others and not to enrich himself is quite rare these days.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: November 04, 2021, 12:02:07 PM
Haven't spent some hours thinking about the advantage that is associated with Bitcoin in company ecosystems, new start-ups that are located in crypto-friendly countries are now diving into Bitcoin as payment against the regular faint traditional currencies, after administering questionnaires to some of the business CEOs stated the reason to be the anonymous nature and its intrinsic value. That is to say, Bitcoin is a business within a business because of its decentralized nature and volatile market.
So the company gain in two ways for accepting bitcoin for payments and if the price of bitcoin goes upward interest are generated also.
And thats if price goes upward only, how about if it goes downward? Who would finance these small start-ups if BTC goes downward drastically? Well, for me BTC as a mode of payment is faster than current way of transacting. It enhances the experience of having a transaction. It also avoids human contact as well.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 04, 2021, 11:49:23 AM
Neither of these projects have a valid use-case. They are meme-coins. Speculative gambling at best.
I’d be lying if I said I never owned any. But just a few dollars here or there. These aren’t serious projects for real investors. And they probably won’t be around in the next 10 years.
These projects are just backed by hypes which will fade away as time goes by. I don't think that their Marketcaps is sustainable and I believe that their downfall will be hard for those who bought at top. Doge having an unlimited supply is a no brainer investment. Aside from having no utility, it is only backed by Elon Musk and nothing else. Shiba Inu in the other hand is now becoming a DeFi token but who would use these platforms if they cant compete the top tier DeFi projects.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polygon vs Solana. on: November 03, 2021, 12:06:28 PM
Ever since the bug that happened recently to polygon's plasma bridge, I have been always skeptical to that network. Lots of bugs are also happening here and there to it which is why I choose Sol over it. The two however is in par with each other. Their low cost network fee is quite good compare to mainstream Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain. I just hope they could sustain it once more project commenced in these two chain.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think narcos may actually be on the 10 richest? on: November 03, 2021, 11:55:03 AM
They could. We all know how big the drug market is which is happening in the black market and these distributors specially those at the top could have billions of dollars. If they can pay politicians, generals and heads of departments then its safe to say that they have monies to spend for that. They don't even pay for taxes by that and that makes them more wealthier.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption by banks - good or bad? on: November 03, 2021, 11:43:10 AM
I think its good for crypto right now specially when this news means more adoption. Bank users would probably learn more about bitcoin and could possibly be interested to it. If bank offers buying and selling bitcoin to its costumers, I think confidentiality is a thing for it. I think its much safer than most crypto exchanges.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Taiwan invasion - how would it affect bitcoin on: November 03, 2021, 11:07:29 AM
The invasion could trigger a World War that would probably lead to world economic crisis meaning price of the market would surge down drastically. I think massive sell off will happen and the impact could be horrendous on Cryptocurrency market as a whole. War between Democracy and Communist ideology would end millions of lives and if not solved peacefully, it would be the end of civilization.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Squid Game' cryptocurrency scams $2 million on: November 02, 2021, 02:45:43 PM
This coin is a perfect example of a rug pull project that utilizes the hype behind the name. Lots of projects are doing this so I think those who invest are dumb enough to not think before entering such extremely high risk investment. Thats why it is very important to invest to fundamentals rather than hypes. Wreckless investing will teach you how research is a must.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Would crypto gain full intrinsic value? on: November 02, 2021, 02:31:24 PM
Crypto users continue to increase and when it has reached more than $140 billion daily transactions, this proves that crypto has a strong influence and of course the intrinsic value of crypto is the ease of transacting at low costs, I'm sure more and more countries will make crypto a national asset.
Yeah agreed. Also lots of markets are now being tapped. Artist are now into it through NFT's. Gamers are now into it because of Play-to-earn cryptocurrency games. Aside from decentralised finance that still blooms year by year, lots are happening that getting crypto into far more audiences that could lead to total dominance in monetary system.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting things off your list. on: November 02, 2021, 02:24:14 PM
Try out this strategy, strike things quickly out of your need/want list and be content, so they no longer become a problem and hindrance to your plans to save/invest.

If you plan to buy a house for your comfort, and it is within your means, seek out a way to get it done quickly.

If you plan to get a car, as you feel you are ripe enough for it, and there's a means to get it, don't hesitate, get it quickly off your list.

if you plan to buy a home equipment, electronics or furniture,  and it is super important to you and your comfort, buy it and get it off your list.

The longer you wait at times, the more prices increase, things are not getting cheaper, the longer you wait the more the thought of this need bugs your mind.

Well for me, invest first before you buy those things that you want. I'm a teenager who's suffering from financial crisis and having a 3rd world country is making it much worse. Reading and watching youtube motivational videos also makes me disagree with you. Lots of my followed financial advisors in YT preferred to invest first before buying things. 50/30/20 rules applies as well.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: A way to make money online? on: November 02, 2021, 02:18:39 PM
Well if you have the capital, then there are lots of hustles that you could enter. One is selling. Selling in online platforms like Amazon, Alibaba, Shopify or Lazada can make you really good money if you know the tricks. You can buy at alibaba some good products then resell it for good profits. But still you need some capital for that. Another thing is investing in crypto. Do some future trading or just spot. Read some tutorials and research. Knowledge can really make money out of nowhere. You just have to gain those knowledge.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador has just bought it’s first 200 coins on: November 02, 2021, 02:10:38 PM
Everything starts from small things, maybe many people can and it is easy to buy 200 btc in 1 transaction but we deserve the appreciation of El Salvador which is a developing country and dares to take the step of investing in bitcoin, I am sure this will get full support from its citizens so that it will improve the economic well-being of the country of El Salvador.
Of course they will. There are lots of advantage of having BTC as legal tender aside from fiats. Aside from being faster than fiat transactions, it is also secured. As a country, they need lots of BTC in circulation and as latest datas shown, they hold 700BTC. According to pres. Bukele, his government saved millions of dollars because of BTC than printing fiats and thats very good specially that they don't have their own country's currency.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: Steam bans blockchain games on: November 01, 2021, 02:09:57 PM
Very bad news for those P2E projects who are planning to launch on steam. I heard CiFi was also trying to launch there so I think it could hurt them. But still I think P2E could still grow without steam on their sides. Lots of platform could fill this space in no time I think. Aside from that, I think mobile platform are the best way for these P2E.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: Really, why bitcoin has this value? on: November 01, 2021, 02:01:32 PM
At some point I am really messed up and lost in vein when it comes to bitcoin's price. I think that every second it gets more and more a victim of speculation and gets abandoned from its original idea.
If bitcoin could perform very well at 6K some months ago, why it become 60K after some months? And then it went back to 30K but was still functioning very smoothly, i.e. it was doing the job it was created for.
Again, If bitcoin could perform well at 30K some weeks ago, then why it worth 60K right now? I just don't get it when people say that bitcoin isn't speculated and all of these prices are just natural.

It has now evolved into something bigger than digital peer-to-peer payment method. It has now becomes an investment for many and many elites are getting into it. Institutions are having fear of missing out specially that large institutions are now into it. Aside from that, hyper inflation might happen in US and BTC could probably save you from that.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ethereum gas price is very high? on: November 01, 2021, 01:53:01 PM
Lots of transactions are being utilized thats why gases are getting higher. I don't think that this could be solved in the upcoming months but I think ETH2.0 deployment of other phases of the upgrade could lessen up this price hike. Another thing is that EIP 1559 wasn't helping at all. 180$ is high, thats why I think other chains should step up and beat this up.
