401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My best investment strategy on: October 18, 2020, 10:24:42 AM
I think the best strategy is being wise. Getting to know where you invest and if you had the idea, getting to know who you invest is quite needed. You shouldve a background check.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 18, 2020, 10:18:39 AM
I agree with this. I have been in some ICO and saw some potential gains but waited for more. In my opinion, as long as you had the chance to gain more, grab it. No more ifs.
403  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: October 17, 2020, 12:53:59 AM
It was all a hype tho. Nothing special with DeFi. Its most likely the ICO having its new era. I also heard that YFI ceo was sued for scamming.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: October 17, 2020, 12:49:26 AM
I agree with this. Most of the coins these days are most likely to drop its price and by this hunters arent properly paid what they worked for.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: October 16, 2020, 01:57:00 PM
Its quite unfair. The moderators holds the right to ban someone by telling the truth there. One example is Dogdata / EthBn as there coin. They automatically ban you whenever you ask something that for them is against their rules.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Trading Platform! on: October 15, 2020, 02:46:32 PM
As one of the most renowned trading site, binance established its place as one of the best. Great support services offered plus no KYC is one of its great feature.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of Yearn Finance trying to be sued by crypto community on: October 15, 2020, 11:40:21 AM
It seems like DeFi is taking a quick turn. Just like ICO does, almost all of them are scams. I just didnt expect it to be this fast turning.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 15, 2020, 11:27:07 AM
Myether for me is one of the best. It is known for its simple interface with highly secure wallets. You can also store all ERC20 coins and you can even have multiple wallet at the same time.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is DeFi over? then old coins revolution ? on: October 15, 2020, 07:00:14 AM
I dont think so mate. I think defi is quite rocketing to moon right now but dome aren't the same performance. Some are slower and some are faster as anticipated.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China's digital yuan vs US dollar on: October 13, 2020, 01:36:41 PM
With the current economical status between the two, it is quite unforeseeable that china would economically powerful that US. Having these newly implemented digital currency would even speed up their current situation. They weren't that much hit by the Corona even if they are the 1st ones to have it.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Bounty Program totally worth less !! 90% Bounties are scam on: October 13, 2020, 01:25:37 PM
I believe that Bounty Detective has no connection with what is happening with the project. All he could do is read the whitepaper, check the background of the project team, and assure that the payment will be properly distributed. Meanwhile, even if he/she checked the above precautions and prove their worth, it is still in the teams hand what could possibly happen in the future of their coin.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Defi scams on: October 13, 2020, 01:15:49 PM
This is very informative. I suggest everyone who knew scam should report immediately to avoid further money loss to investors. I believe many will appear in this thread whom experienced in DeFi scam.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Newbie's guide to avoid ICO Scam on: October 01, 2020, 09:41:23 AM
Initial Coin Offering SCAMS
HOW TO AVOID?

Let's define first what is Initial Coin Offering or ICO?

ICO is an unregulated means by which funds are raised for a new cryptocurrency venture.
My idea on ICO is CROWD FUNDING .

Now let's move on how can we avoid ICO SCAM

Crowdfunding is shaping the future of finance. No longer does investment belong to the few and no longer does launching a project mean having to go through all the required conditions of Venture Capital investment. There are now multiple platforms where users can crowdfund their dreams and projects into reality.

Observe this things to avoid it.
Unrealistic goals
Buzzword salad
Whitepaper
No Code Repository
Team

Unrealistic goals

If the project does have that potential, professional developers will never make such promises. They will let you know about the potential of their project and that’s it. No serious team will ever make a price prediction about their token or claim it can fix the world.

Buzzword salad

“Our decentralized blockchain-based platform will disrupt the landscape of cryptocurrency investment while building a trustless network of pseudonymous users that leverage swarm intelligence technology to provide real world financial services in a tokenized ecosystem.”

Some people may have a tendency to use buzzwords as a means to turn a boring text or announcement into something exciting. However, these will have a certain amount of information on it, even if you have to filter out some of the nonsense. Still, if a project needs to do this, then the project is likely to be as boring as watching paint dry.

Whitepaper

Whitepapers usually explain how the platform works both on the high-level and specifically. This often includes charts, calculations, simulations, specifications and so forth. If your project claims that it is building some sort of decentralized service or token with new features and actually provides no explanation of how it works specifically, then just close the document and walk away.

No Code Repository

This is what matters. Like someone said before “Code is law”. Even if the project announcement and whitepaper are complete trash, you can always count on Github or Sourceforge to put an end to all doubts. If the project provides no link to the code at all or if the project is nothing more than a clone with a few changed lines of code, then it’s not worth your time nor money.

Team

This is very important. Who is behind the project? Is the team made up of well-known members of the cryptocurrency community? Are they known in other areas? Have they been involved in previous projects? If the answer is yes, then this may be an interesting opportunity. Just remember to check if the person is actually aware of the project as scammers may use famous names just to get people interested even though these are not part of the team.

DOGDATA team didn't even payed. They just used this forum for marketing then leave the users with nothing. Maybe someone could ban them by this.
416  Other / Meta / Re: Why Same MERITED Rankers send Merits to themselves? on: May 13, 2020, 10:16:42 AM
I stand with you. I saw some low quality post by some legendary members but still getting a lot of merits. I also saw some low ranking with High quality post but getting no merit at all.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: Epidemic to Pandemic to Diaster-Cycle on: May 13, 2020, 10:05:38 AM
It is indeed painful to small countries specially those who are economically weak. Our country is quite in the brink of collapsing due to this pandemic. Our government has given all of its efforts but still it cant afford a long run. But luckily, the cases are slowly dropping and the curve is flattened. I just hope this drop would continue and no more waves to come.
418  Economy / Economics / Re: The Coronavirus as A Means of Financial Reset on: May 13, 2020, 09:59:21 AM
There are no clear proof to such accusations yet many conspiracy theory occur. In my own opinion, it is quite indeed a laboratory made virus and china should be sanctioned for it but at some point, some conspiracy also tell us that USA have something to do with the said virus.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: May 13, 2020, 09:56:20 AM
I agree with this. It is quite unsure when and where a crisis might occur and all we can do is prepare. Prepare for it physically and financially, and probably in some other aspect too. I strongly agree with having a savings and a debt free life.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: Money History - Introduction to Ancient Exchanges on: May 13, 2020, 05:00:42 AM
It has come indeed a pretty long way down. It starts with a simple exchange of animals and other commodities. One of the most astonishing evolution from mankind's creation. But Gold is still one unique piece of essentials.
