If your transaction is still pending you did not get in. As stated before you'll get a refund minus transaction fees.

You can check if you got PAY tokens by putting your transaction ID in the tool on their website. That worked for me anyway.

can you explain me how anyone could get in, i try since the first second to send plenty of transaction and not even one is working on MEW? how come anyone send one if not me ? waht should I do ?

Well most people that got in paid more than 60 Gwei in fees. People pay more to ensure that their transactions get included in the block (miners like high fees). I was lucky enough to get included in the very first block but it did cost me some money in fees.

What's up with this line in the contract?

Quote
  address public multisigVault;

  uint hardcap = 200000 ether;

Wasn't the max gonna be 100000 ether?

I'm the only one who cannot loggin to the tokensale website? After entering email address and accepting the terms, nothing hapens, treid with chrome, ff

try again - otherwise use a different browser. works for sure!

Playgrounder, quick question. The limited edition card, is the limit 5k tokens (including bonus) or 25 ether?

25 ETH equivalent

Alright, thanks. Another question then. Does the card offer any additional benefits other then being a collectors item?

I bought a good amount at 20k sats rate
now the rate is 13k sats  Sad
Anyways i am thinking of holding the coins as it might go to 30k sats
What say ?

You sound like the perfect bagholder. Don't buy the hype, buy the fundamentals.

Thanks for the advise, ill keep this in mind
But what Exactly do u mean by fundamentals.? Please elaborate a little

Research a project before you invest in it. And definitely don't buy when it's in a fast rise. Usually you'll end up holding the bag (ie. buying at 20k sats while that was near the top). If you really believe in a project it is better to buy when the price has been stable for a while.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: June 23, 2017, 08:34:20 AM

14000 sat to 7000 sat is a 50% decrease

7000 is actually a good entry point if your into technical analysis of charts.

50% is a key Fibonacci retracement level ...

Oh not the technicals again Smiley

Yes, IMO it's best to ignore this kind of stuff. Do your own research into blockchain tech. Pick the best ones. Invest what you can afford to lose and hold as long as you can. I love to watch the markets but when I day trade based on their movements, I consider it gambling and count it to luck when I come out ahead.

DIMCOIN is not expensive, it's only 1 cent a coin and if you invest early you get +30% bonus... I don't understand why NEM holders would not be more enthusiastic about this project since it is conceptually a market based on the NEM blockchain. I recently invested a significant amount in NEM and I plan on investing a small amount in DIMCOIN.

Value is not determined by price but price * supply. If there were only 100 million tokens then yes $0.01 would be cheap but there are 90 billion giving it a 90 million USD valuation. That is not cheap considering all they have right now is a white paper. I wish them the best of luck and hope it's successful but I will most likely wait until it's listed before I consider investing.

You seem to be quite knowledgeable on NEM. Can you point me to some places where I can read up on planned developments on the NEM network? I've looked at the message board but it seems that there is very little information available.

On another note, is 3 mil NEM the bare minimum to run a supernode? Anything below that will just result in a 'normal' node?

There are many others here who know a lot more than I but I would suggest reading the catapult white paper first which is what has most of us excited: https://www.nem.io/catapultwhitepaper.pdf

Yes a minimum 3 million XEM stake and a certain minimum performance / bandwidth are required to qualify as a supernode. Running a node that does not meet these requirements just means you do not receive the supernode reward and are not included in the network of reliable nodes used by lightwallets but you still help secure/support the network.

Thanks! I'll have a look at the whitepaper.

Good to be back in NEM. I remember participating in the Alpha and Closed beta back in 2014 and NEM has definitely come a long way since then.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many cryptocurrencies do you invest in? on: June 23, 2017, 08:22:04 AM
Honestly diversification and subsequently 'forgetting' about your investments is your best bet in crypto's. I'd say invest in approx. 10-15 promising coins or ICO's (depending on your risk profile) and just don't touch them for a year or so.

but the main thing is: are the devs at least still alive ?

yea, i can confirm that ^^

That's good to hear! Perhaps you could give us a small peak in to some developments?
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain too inefficient? on: June 22, 2017, 06:08:12 AM
So BTC is a failure because it can't be properly updated to modernize. Segwit will delay the inevitable, it's inability to scale. However, Ethereum having a weak blockchain really surprised me. Is this proof that blockchains spend tons of electricity to accomplish very little? Can a blockchain be made that can handle tens of thousands of transactions per second? The only way crypto can become the world's money is if it can scale.

Yes. Eos.io
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale :: 21 June on: June 21, 2017, 05:27:08 PM
Kind of a weird system indeed. Accidentally refreshed during the queue (was lucky initially that I checked it before the ICO actually started) and was now limited to 2,5k. Seems pretty arbitrary to me seeing as no one knew there was going to be a queue.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SNT] Thoughts on the Status ICO? on: June 20, 2017, 09:23:28 PM
Why is MyEtherwallet saying that the contribution is finished??   Undecided

This is what I get when I fill in the address in my wallet:

Quote
The Status.im Contribution Period has ENDED. Please stop clogging the blockchain with your FOMO. Thanks!

That's not true. I suppose they put it up there to prevent congestion of the ethereum blockchain.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SNT] Thoughts on the Status ICO? on: June 20, 2017, 09:16:25 PM
Is the ICO still on or is it over? MEW says it's over but nothing in the Status website.

Its over I believe, Status will probably release an update soon.

Why should it be? It's just a little over 60M USD.

Anyway, I MANAGED TO GET 2 SUCCESFUL TRANSACTIONS.

I've been trying for 3 hours without success, then I tried that: using MyWtherWallet, I started "spamming" the transaction. I sent it over and over again. 50 Gwei and 200.000 gas limit on the first time. Then 200.001 gas limit and I always increased by one, so that it is considered a different transaction. I did it fast, 1 transaction sent every 3-4 seconds max.

FIrst succesful attempt required 33 tries. On the second one it went through after 10 attempts.

Can't believe this shit actually worked. Thanks lol

Does it mean I´m in ?

Yes there is 40k SNT on that address.

Fastpow: actually it's because they are processing withdrawals manually. They emailed me back saying "Withdrawals should be done today sir. Thanks for your patience and sorry for inconvenience"

Ah my bad. Just assumed that it was due to the issues the whole ETH network has atm.
