I Can see it stabilising towards the end of the year, it will stabilise at a much lower price than the start of 2018 is my view, Dec/Jans rise was just pure media hype.
Looking at a market cap of 100-150bn would seem reasonable when you consider that's still a growth of around 15x from the start of 2017.
Indeed, however we don't know what the whales are planning for this year. When we least expect it the market can either plunge to an abyss or rise to incredible heights. |

Just be patient and let it sync the full blockchain. It might take a few hours but it will eventually get there. I have been running a DMD wallet a year, and I have never had problems with the synchronization. for the last four days, I restarted, rescanned it countless times, and it still standing at: Curent number of block 176530 it is possible that the synchronization stops totally for five days? I'm exaggerating not five, three.... There was an attack on the network and it caused a fork on the blockchain a few days ago. You might be on the wrong chain... I was on the wrong chain for a couple days myself. Luckily I always have a copy of my data folder just two or three weeks old so it's easy for me to get back on track. If everything else fails, just start syncing from the beginning with the latest wallet. And then, as soon as you're done, close the wallet and make a backup of your data folder! |

I think if we are to invest in anything, I first want study it. I want that I really know, and understand this thing. After all I will lose my money with just my wrong move. I believe if i really know this thing, I can be a successful person with this and instead of losing I will win because I know what to do in times if trouble.
Therefore, like I've mentioned before in this thread, education is at the core of any reasonable risk management strategy. |

All blockchain based crypto assets need some sot of consensus mechanism to verify transaction thus generation new blocks.
Nakamoto launched BTC with the PoW mechanism, commonly named as crypto mining. Since then, a number of alternatives have surfaced but the most promising one is the PoS, specially PoS v3 with masternodes.
Classical (PoW) mining might come to an end sooner than expected because of the obscene power consumption but it has to be replaced by some other consensus mechanism. I'm betting on PoS! And eagerly waiting for ETH to move from PoW to PoS... that will be a real game changer.

For me, there needs to be a certain degree of regulation. Regulation is really necessary to build trust for people so that Crypto currency can be trusted and to also avoid those project created without no purpose rather than to collect money from ICO and dump coin on investors.
Understandable but realize that the reason why you can make so much money in crypto is precisely because it is not currently regulated. Regulation often hurts the people it claims to help. And greater security ruins and chance at taking risk and receiving bigger reward. Ok, then let's forget all about stability and credibility, right? Crypto will keep on being regarded as a realm for criminals and scam artists. And it is partially true! |
