101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: scalping strategy on: September 08, 2018, 08:01:58 AM
Good day everyone, what tools/strategy/method/indicators do you use in scalping trading strategy?
I am thinking of using bollinger bands+stochastic rsi, is this a good strategy?
Wow seems like a lot of people are interested in the scalping method. For me, that’s really the best method to use and I have never used any other method apart from that. With scalping you just hold a position for a short-term and come out with a small profit.

If you continue with it by the end of the day you will have a huge amount of profit  this is a good thread and will help those interested in using this method. By the way, I came across this post while making a research on Google, you guys might like to check it out–

102  Economy / Speculation / Re: The value of Bitcoin is rising again? on: September 08, 2018, 06:48:06 AM
yes you are right now the value of bitcoin prices has increased again and maybe there is good news that can make the price of bitcoin prices rise, and when conditions rise like this is the right time to sell the coins you have.
It is always too early and we can not say something about future accurately as we get the actual value in future different from the predicted value. Do not waste your time in predicting the market as it is unstable and you will not predict it correctly so better you focus on your investment and try to spread in other sources as well because it is always a good idea to spread your money in multiple sources.
103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the most important thing on: September 08, 2018, 06:08:51 AM
Patience will give them many options as well as it will give us time to look back at the market and have many opportunities and conditions for us to grasp. Market and catch the good coin
Of course it is the most important thing that can give you an edge over those people who are impatient and who make decision out of market panic. This is the reason majority of them sell when the market is down and loose their money.

However there is no such benefit behind selling your coins when you are unable to earn some margin. It reminds me of the liquidity trap concept from the monetary economics.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Government regulation on cryptocurrency, GOOD or BAD? on: September 06, 2018, 07:10:32 AM
it's good and thats one of the problem we are facing on crypto markets right now which is making new investors not coming into it because of the so many manipulation caused by people and many scam projects. with regulations all will stop.
It is good for those who have already invested and built a specific amount of wealth because it will provide additional security to their investment but those who have not invested and are looking forward to invest in the cryptocurrency do not like it and fear it because of the fact that they will loose the money.

It will be a bit hard for them to meet the obligations the government will implement which were not a problem from those who had invested earlier.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after several years? on: September 06, 2018, 06:36:12 AM
I expect that Bitcoin would be adopted in many different ways in the future. Actually, we are already adopting some changes that are benefiting the masses. Just like for example, some companies are making Bitcoin an over all payment for bills, loads, gifts, credits, etc. This things are actually big deal. What more in the years to come.
That is exactly how the case would be in future. This cryptocurrency will enter almost all the walks of life where we would need instant transaction of goods and services.

As the European countries are continuously adapting Bitcoin as their medium of exchange in their leading industries, cryptocurrency central bank will be made in Venezuela and the technology has already been extended to Philippines which show the urgency and need of cryptocurrency for the current world and for future.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very soon we will see a new wave of market growth!!! on: September 06, 2018, 06:03:48 AM
The rsi supposely shows that bitcoin is on the verge of a big huge jump so that makes me really happy and when bitcoin goes up altcoins follow. Not when it goes up like couple hundred dollars because when that happens altcoins lose bitcoin value (even tho they stay same on dollar value) so I think when bitcoin goes up like 10k or 12k levels that will result with altcoins following it and even going further.

Making bitcoin go from 7 thousand dollars to 12 thousand dollars require insanely high amount of dollars to achieve however making some small coin like nano to go over to 10 dollars is not that hard because of the volume involved in the currency, so we will see an insane market growth very soon.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A large part of the bounty Scam on: September 05, 2018, 06:00:27 AM
I can say 100% that 60% of all bounty is a Scam. The reward for them is either given and the tokens will lie on your wallet forever or do not give at all. Then what's the point of doing this ?
Yes that’s true, most of the bounties are scam and no need to ask why or what they are gaining from it, it’s a scam and it’s all about stealing money from people. I once read a post that they have been able to raise millions through scam ICOs.

So if you are investing in any ICO you have to be very careful and ask questions if in case you don’t know what you are doing. I have taken from that, though I have never been scammed in it but I just think I need to take a break please., I do whatever my mind tells me.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: The money started coming back to the cryptocurrency market on: September 05, 2018, 05:28:11 AM
It's been two months since the OP posted this thread and it is still too early to say that money is indeed coming back to crypto currency. But then again, I'm more of a half glass full kinda person and see this as an opportunity to buy more coins so when the bull market comes I'll be telling myself "i should've bought more".
We saw a big pump during this two months time span but then again, people are cashing out especially those who play short in the market. Its too early to be happy about the current trend not unless you are enjoying to buy more bitcoin at a cheaper price.
This is not something new when a market is in a bearish condition and what makes it bearish is that there are more people willing to sell than those willing to buy and I have not seen a condition in the market that would favor more buy ins as the case may be presently.

Hopefully, we may get to see some little bit of upraise in the market in a short while and see more money get into the market, but like you said, it is too early to start anticipating for a positive growth in the market.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: how to save money? on: September 04, 2018, 07:46:34 AM
Saving money is freaking hard. But being conscious about spending money can save you some money. only easy way to save money is to try not be do unnecessary expenses. I wish you all the best.
Savings are one of the ways that investors can keep their money in order to prevent bad ones. I think that in order to save money, it is necessary to have a reasonable and effective spending plan so as not to use other funds.
Saving is hard when you do are spending much of your money without any plan. You have to make list of your expenses and lessen your wants. Save first before spending and it is better when you save on something that will make it grow in time. Place it where it gonna gain profit like in banks which take less risk.
Plan! That is usually the best word for it and this is where budget comes in. First of all, discipline is required to be able to save money which is where making it a habit comes in.

A lot of people with their imprudent lifestyle may always find it hard to save no matter what until they learn to discipline themselves. As long as you are able to separate needs from wants, then you will be able to know how to manage your funds and be able to save a lot at the end.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: September 04, 2018, 06:51:44 AM
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.
You just need to understand that most of the people here are very crazy and they just say whatever that comes to their mind without thinking about it or the possibility of such a thing happening, they just think straight. Such a thing is not going to happen, it’s all about choices and Bitcoin is just an internet money and if you want to make use of Bitcoin it’s just your choice… if you decide you need fiat, then go for it.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be discouraged! Keep holding. on: September 01, 2018, 06:14:14 AM
I would urge everyone holding bitcoin at 14k to hold those coins tight. Check the history of how bitcoin prices react and you would have more patience and hold it. The market wants you to sell off but do not
I really feel bad for those young blood investors looking for moon in one day who entered the market at 14k USD/BTC. This is what happens when you dont do proper research before you invest. It was evident at that time that a dump would happen sooner or later and crypto prices would plummet. But what can you say to those who are hungry and greedy to make cash and not willing to understand the risks? Wink

The current market situation is quite discouraging, and this bearish market has dragged on for quite a while.
But strong currencies like BTC, ETH would eventually  bounce back, and rise in a more favorable market.
The top 10 altcoins except Bitcoin cash will eventually recover and start rising. The only thing bag holders should do it keep holding them and plan an exit strategy once the green wave starts.
What you stated at first is one of the major issues why the market is the way it is and the main reason why it is more of a speculative asset than a currency with real life usage. Virtually, every new investor is greedy and looking for ways to get rich overnight, forgetting there is a process to everything.

Because of this mindset, they obviously will not even consider getting to know the risk aspect like you said, and all they will ever care about is calling and expecting the moon like the market should just perform some magic.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after several years? on: August 31, 2018, 07:09:01 AM
what do you think will happen on bitcoin after several years?
i expect that bitcoin will a more bigger continuities and maybe that we can use bitcoin currency in public like buying in a supermarket cause we alk know that technology in our world was growing in every second that's only what I'm thinking
what about your thoughts?

I know that Bitcoin will grow in the next few years to come but not as you have described it, I’ don’t even know why most of you all are fond of exaggerating stuffs like this.

Conventional currencies will continue be the main thing, or haven’t you heard of the QR Payment which let’s you scan a barcode with your bank mobile app and make payments quickly? There are lots of stores that has it these days, and there are also POS. The only way bitcoin is taking over is in the internet, people will only be interested in using Bitcoin on the internet, because it is internet money.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies on: August 31, 2018, 06:09:41 AM
I think the reason why crypto currencies are banned by the government is because of the high risk that arises if you invest in this commodity, the simple example is when you buy crypto currencies at a certain price there is a very uncertain price movement. the opposite will make you experience losses...
You just hit another good point. Some government might be kicking against it because they think it is very risky and people might be losing their money through it.

But bitcoin is not the only risky thing there, it’s an investment and they should all know that investment has risks involved so anyone that is investing their money in it should be aware of that. Though another I have seen a lot of people complain about is the manipulation in Bitcoin, whales are now using it as an opportunity.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: August 30, 2018, 06:40:31 AM
I'm HODL because I do not see a alternative. Tried to engage in trading, but it takes a lot of time, takes strength, nerves and so on
Lol that’s another why some people are Hodling, because they don’t know what other things to do. When I was a newbie all I did mostly was Hodl cause I don’t really know how the crypto trading works, but after sometime of getting knowledge on how it works I decided to go for it, and ever since then I have been making some little daily profits from it, I don’t have to rely on Hodl and wait all the time for when the price if bitcoin will rise.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH ready to bounce back? on: August 30, 2018, 06:00:25 AM
Ethereum has just been getting tanked on lately, really dropping much faster than many thought it would as prince of the cryptos.

Personally I think that it's only a matter of time before it spikes up, and spikes big time. I really think that Ethereum is among the most advanced of any cryptocurrency and is definitely the one blazing the trails in many regards. Right now is definitely a chance to buy, remember that just over 6 months ago ETH was over $1000! All it needs to do is retake that level and you'll see an almost 400% gain!
Yes you’re right, it’s just a matter of time and it will turn up and when that happens it will take so many people by surprise. I believe this is the lowest it’s getting to for this year, though let’s watch it in this coming month of September and see what happens next.

But I’m very sure that before this year ends there will be a very big change. I’m not letting happened to me before to happen again, so this time I’d rather invest and wait than wait for the price to start going up before investing.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is now hot topic - Whats wrong with it? on: August 29, 2018, 07:14:18 AM
I think that Ethereum is all right. It feels much better than most altcoins. And the problem is not with Ethereum but with the crypto-currency market. I used to think that it was a whale specially lowered the price. But now I do not understand who needs it and who benefits from a cheap cryptocurrency.
I do not even see anything wrong with Ethereum personally except that we have a lot of noobs who simply were expecting the moon, but ended up starting to see the soils on the earth. So many people called moon at $1000 and some bought into it, so I do not expect seeing ETH below $300 not to generate so much noise.

All altcoins are down at the moment and trying to pick up, so depending on the side of the hot topic anyone wants to be sticking with, I would suggest being positive will make anyone see this present moment as a great opportunity.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Different between Cryptocurrency and Banking sectors on: August 29, 2018, 06:32:29 AM
If you own crypto you are in complete control of your money and no one can take it away.  If your money is in the bank, the government can freeze your money anytime they want for any reason.
A lot of people complain about the non-safety using cryptocurrencies, when I have seen banks folding up several times at least in my country with nothing to pay the account holders in such banks.

At least, this is one of the things, this space has been able to curtail as everyone simply will be able to have their own wallet which serves as a bank, do any transaction when they please without the banks over their shoulders or coming up with some policies that affect spending.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: GARBAGE EVERYWHERE on: August 28, 2018, 07:35:52 AM
The only garbage that i know that is everywhere is the shitcoins and the cryptocurrencies that are just being created by the people to stole money from other people but i know that we cannot prevent or avoid this from happening because it is the other side of being decentralized and we just need to get use to it.
With the look of things, this sounds more like the normal garbage and has nothing to do with cryptocurrency at large. Garbage is not that useless as recycling them can even generate something useful. I have seen garbage being useful for many forms and I have seen a lot being sorted and recycled into what can be useful for the same purpose or different purposes.

However, if we are to be relating this with the crypto world, we all know in this space, garbage which I would refer to as shitcoins are not worth tampering with but one way or the other, as shitty as they are, they have also been serving their own usefulness.
119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy This Dip or Wait ? on: August 28, 2018, 06:06:29 AM
So BTC and most alts are down 10-25% pretty much across the board from 6:30 est. this morning.

So what do you think guys, buy this dip or wait for more blood?
My friend was advising me to buy a lot of them at the price of $6,100 around last two weeks or so and I’m still thinking about that, may be I am really going to go for that cause it seems like the lowest the price of BTC will ever go this year is $6000+ or maybe $5000+ and if you buy at such rate and let’s assume that before December the price of Bitcoin will get to $10,000 plus then it’s a huge profit.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL is not advisable! on: August 28, 2018, 05:21:51 AM
I feel holding back is the best choice and the right way to provide security to the assets that you have because if you sell assets that you have at a very cheap price, what you get is only a loss.
Lol, what the op is trying to say is that instead of just Hodl’ing your coins there are other ways you can also make money, just like scalping method in trading and I he’s very much right.

Most of us here are fond of doing on HODL and it’s not really helping the community, because all we do is wait and once we get profit we take the money and run away… So let’s try to engage other processes/methods to earn and keep the crypto market going.
