101  Economy / Gambling / Re: DontPlayHere Provably Fair Dice site (~0.25% house edge) on: October 26, 2015, 07:49:44 AM
The 0.25% house edge is very attractive. It will attract many users. How can we verity it is actually 0.25%?
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 25, 2015, 04:37:52 PM
When I started to gamble on dice sites, I have used the strategy of doubling the bet on every loss and go back to your standard bet on every win. This works for a while and I made a good gain. But one day, I lost over two dozens of games in a row and lost all my stake. Since then, I have never followed a strategy on dice sites again.

If you lose all your stakes, can you add more stakes and bet again. Was the stake of last bet was already too high, you could not add more? Was there a limit of maximum stake?

Poker players for example don't have a house edge against them, they are reading people and hoping to beat them

How do you read people if you are playing online? People always say poker is about skill but it is also about luck. If you have a very bad luck then you will get a bad card, you cant beat anyone with the bad card

You can beat anyone with bad hand if you are really lucky but if you are not even you have the best hand, 2 and 3 with different suits will kill you so i think poker is 50% skill and 50% luck

Even if your opponent is lucky and you do not, it all depends if you can figure him out. I would say 20% luck, 80% psychology + experience (skill)

Sometimes even if you have bad cards, ie bad luck, you can still manipulate the situation with various skills, including bluffing. Poker needs more skill than most dice games.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 25, 2015, 12:33:16 PM
I hold and use bitcoin. I expect price to rise in the future. It has risen from $220 to $290 in the last month. I do not care about the short term price.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2015: The year of the stress test on: October 25, 2015, 11:07:23 AM
Bitcoin passed this stress test this month. Its price went up again after bad days.
Some people wanna manipulate heavy use of bitcoin but they always fail.

Those stress tests proved the resilience of Bitcoin, it is actually good for bitcoin. So the great days are ahead, indicated by the recent rise of bitcoin price.
106  Economy / Gambling / Re: Who won the biggest amount of btc on satoshimines.com? on: October 25, 2015, 10:01:59 AM
I made till 3,5 BTC and then lost all ahahaa good times Cheesy
If gain that profit dont be greedy you have lost control with your self.Just keep it and think wise. for me if i got that profit i will withdraw it fast and have a good time with my frineds and family... so First think wise..

Lol i know.. i just want to have fun ya know.. the main reason that i bet isn't to get profit, is to get fun. but yeah i screw up everything :p

Fun is the enemy of profit. It makes you not to stop after you win, and you will lose all eventually. There are very few disciplined gamblers.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: October 25, 2015, 09:31:29 AM
No i don't, usually its a waste of money.

I realized after spending about $100. I do not play lottery any more. However, the excitement during the announcement of the lottery number is quite rewarding.

Poker does rely on luck to some extent. If you are lucky, you have many good cards. However, compared to other randomization games, Poker requires more skill.

Of course you can lose your money but we are talking about a year. In a very long time like a year you are gonna get more profit of course because of the house edge. Variance may be make you lose profit but you will always get a profit if you invest for a year because it will even out sooner or later

In long term, casino will make profit if managed properly. This is mainly due to the house edge. That is the reason why there are so many casinos. However, casinos have to spend money on promotion, which will cost them money.
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: DontPlayHere Dice site (0.1% house edge) on: October 24, 2015, 09:34:50 AM
I'm not playing there because he told me so. Sad

Some kids do what parents do not want them to do. So many people will come to this site, as it is not recommended.

I played lottery about 10 years and win the lowest prize several times. I lost all the money I won and it was net loss for me.

I managed to win a lot in this game a few months ago my biggest win was like 0.2 bitcoins though now i stopped playing on it

It is wise to stop playing if you had enough, however, you will not experience the fun during the gambling.

Sell all my stash of less than 0.01 BTC for ~$8 and buy an island and a yacht Tongue .

So that is $800 per bitcoin. That price is not high and achievable in 3 years. Do you think $8 will buy you an island and a yacht?

The best strategy for dice is investing in a dice website, the casino always wins in the end Wink

There are so many dice casinos in the web, how do you know which one is the best to invest?

This is wonder thing to have 15 rolls/second ,Yeah this will make it fastest dice site ever.I would like to have the experience of fastest rolling.Great work this will attract many players who want faster rolls.

What will the faster roll speed bring to the user experience? Does it make difference if it is 15 or 20 roll/second?

Anyone mind sharing the nodes they have?

There are a few nodes listed in the source. Have you tried with them?

I did but I also added the others mentioned in a prior post and it synced right up with no problems.

I have a question, I mined a block and it gave the reward of 45 but it was thrown to deposit, now the amount for deposit if 56. Does that mean anything mined after amount will go to my wallet?

The reward is 45, you get that, but 45 is smaller than the required 56 deposit. So the 45 will go to deposit. You cannot access that for about 3-4 months. That 45 will be available in about 3-4 months. For the next mined block by you, the 45 reward will still go to deposit. You cannot use that for 3-4 months.
