1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 23, 2015, 04:02:07 PM
i really doubt that as casinos are made to make people loose their money and make profit out of that, in my opinion you have to be really lucky to win in a long run

Casinos provide a service for people to gamble their money. So it has to make a profit. The profit comes from the people who lose in the games.
There will be some professional gamblers. But the numbers are very few.
2  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any advice to start gambling? on: November 23, 2015, 03:58:01 PM
If you really want to start gambling. Try not to lose 5% of your daily salary. If your daily income is $200, then try not to lose $10 each day you play. And not to play more than 20 days a year.
3  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-11-19] Bitcoin Price Drops Following News of EU Threat on: November 23, 2015, 03:52:48 PM
The price has ready come back from the drop. There is no way for EU to ban bitcoin and other currencies. Regulating bitcoin is good for its further adoption as a currency.
4  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-11-23] Core Developers Call for New Bitcoin Software Strategy at MIT on: November 23, 2015, 03:50:49 PM
"Fields suggested pressure could come if Bitcoin Core developers sought to enable software users to make transactions "entirely anonymous" through their work on the protocol."
There is no need for bitcoin to do that. Monero and Dash can already achieve anonymous transaction. Bitcoin should remain a transparent money.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIG PUMP STARTED .. $400 SOON on: November 23, 2015, 03:41:59 PM
Yes this is true.Every moment the price could shoot up.
But those $400 wouldn't sustain!
Steep increases in general end with big correction as traders will take profits.

The price came down from recent pump, which was almost 100% price rise. So the recent price of $330 is a good correction from the $500 price tag. It is preparing for the next stage price rise.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: November 22, 2015, 05:36:31 PM
If bitcoin price grows 40% a year from now on, that will be 1000 times of present value in 20 years. The price is about $400 by the end of this year, so 1 bitcoin will be worth $0.4 million. If you have 10 bitcoin, you can have comfortable retirement life.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: November 22, 2015, 05:34:00 PM
if im the owner of that 100bitcoin
i should'nt waiting to 20year
let's trade it and growing it with my trade skill

I Think at 10year i will be millionare (insya Allah)
 Cool

2020 is just 5 years from now. It is possible the bitcoin will grow 40% a year, that is 5.37 in 5 years, if we times 400*5.37, that is $2,100 by 2020. With 100 bitcoin, you will have about $0.21 million.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: November 22, 2015, 10:41:59 AM
My hope is, of course, that 21BTC will be much more in the future. Would be nice to have more but to be reasonable that's a fair amount right now.
Going slowly there.

you need 100BItcoin Smiley
you can do anything with 100btc in future

Bitcoin price will be stable at $1000  Grin

In 20 years, the price of bitcoin will be stable around $200k if bitcoin is still there. So with 100 bitcoin, you will have $20 million of today's money. You shall live quite a good life then.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much gambling will impact on full time gamblers family? on: November 22, 2015, 10:38:51 AM

Most addictions don't make the person hate the family they are with.  Most are caused by tons of other reasons.  Most people who are addicted still love their family but have an illness.

The addicted gamblers will have less feeling about their family than the gambling. If their family do not support their gambling causes and do not lend them money, they might hate them.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: What attracts you to a casino? on: November 22, 2015, 10:35:56 AM
The free drinks can attract us to the casinos. But we have to realize that we will pay for the drinks eventually as we pay for the gambling by losing to the casinos.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: November 22, 2015, 10:33:40 AM
I wish I can pay with bitcoin for anything I want to buy. That will help the adoption of bitcoin and increase the value. One day we might be able to buy anything with bitcoin.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Simple Gambling Trick on: November 22, 2015, 10:31:22 AM
So there is no trick to help a gambler to win all the time. If there is one, if it is applied by most people, then this trick will not work any more. Trick is only know the minority of people.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: November 21, 2015, 08:36:55 AM
If gambling was not introduced than life could boring without any twist sometimes i go from zero to hero, gambling is doing good for me something great happening to me.

Gambling is a kind of sports, just like other activities people do to pass time. Gambling is betting with real money, so it is more exciting. One moment you have a lot, next moment you have nothing.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: DontPlayHere Provably Fair Dice site (~0.25% house edge) on: November 21, 2015, 08:32:12 AM
The name has me conflicted Cheesy

but I like the low house edge, and instant withdrawals. You're definitely going to have me rolling the dice a few times with that minimum bet Shocked

When they say "dontplayhere", that could just mean do not try to bet against us, you will lose money to us, it is a pre warning. They are quite honest in this sense. Have fun.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road Founder Ross Ulbricht Sentenced to Life in Prison on: November 21, 2015, 08:29:36 AM
If will agree in this point, then this activity can be enough to punish Ulbricht lifetime in prison for the amount of the bad make with him's help. Which was not a lateral but basic help. Without this help anything would be possible. He offer basic help in (repeat) the disease and distress of thousand and thousand people and for more, even earn money doing this bad. Have nothing to do here the spread of legalization of the drugs (even if it will be so). We are speaking about a fact. Repeat: He offer basic help in the disease and distress of thousand and thousand people and for more, even earn money doing this bad.

What Ulbricht provide is a market for trading so called illegal drugs and other goods. If those goods are traded in a face to fact manner, then there will be more gun battle between drug traders and will waste a lot of police time.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting a living from Gmabling alone is possible? on: November 21, 2015, 08:26:18 AM
It is really tough to beat the casino but it is possible.  People out there do it and though it requires great luck to actually accomplish this, it is posible.

It is possible to beat the casino some times. You can win very big in several occasions. But if you keep on playing with the luck based random games, you will lose in long term. That is the reason why there are still operating casinos.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: November 17, 2015, 02:44:50 AM
I have not found anything I cannot buy.  The Walmart two miles from here accepts BTC and pretty much anything else can be found in the dark.

Do you mean your local Walmart accept bitcoin? This is very good news. I did not hear that Walmart accepts bitcoin. Is it just your local Walmart? If bitcoin is accepted in our local supermarket, it will be good.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite Game? on: November 16, 2015, 01:44:58 AM
I like playing dice games and choose one with low house edge. I use a small amount of stake and play long enough until I lose all the stakes or the time is up.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Simple Gambling Trick on: November 16, 2015, 01:36:58 AM
It can be a wise decision to decide to bet only 10 times a day (or 100 times whatever fits you) and this is the maximum. If you win and it reaches a predefined limit you can leave the site earlier, but should not bet more then previously decided. In this case you can at least limit your losses, but it doesn't impact on the winning chances of course Smiley

That is right. Gambling is for fun and time passing. Just bet for a limited number of time and money. After losing the fixed amount of money, stop gambling to prevent further loss.
20  Economy / Gambling / Re: What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘gambling’? on: November 16, 2015, 01:32:54 AM
for me its rich poker players who make a living out of playing games though its a bit sad that i will most probably will not be that lucky

In poker game, unlike other dice games, skill is more important than luckiness. Most of us are not skilled enough to win in poker.
