101  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 15, 2014, 11:08:33 PM
So we'll be able to use the Trezor to essentially "store" both Bitcoin and Litecoin in the future?

Yes. Actually it's already possible (and Namecoin and Dogecoin too)! What is lagging is the infrastructure of these altcoins (namely they are missing good block explorers/indexers such as Bits of Proof server).

I AM TROLLING?

I'm glad you posted the screenshot, so I don't have to do it and anyone can see that:

a) we always responded within 24 hours timeframe
b) I told you that you can check if the transaction was broadcasted on blockchain.info
c) you never told us what is this problematic transaction that holds your business, otherwise we would check it for you on blockchain.info if you are not capable of doing it by yourself
d) you are demanding a fix (not an answer, but A FIX!) after 48 hours which is ridiculous -- even the biggest IT companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google can't and won't provide this kind of support to their end costumers
e) you are putting off the solution because 2 of 3 developers have to debunk your accusations on the forum instead of working on the problem

FWIW This is my last post on this topic here as I am putting you on my ignore list to protect my mental health. I am sure most of the people that will read your posts will do the same. I will leave the communication with you to our support team which is still learning but is already very capable at handling difficult individuals.

Side question: is there an easy tool to take the master public key and generate addresses on desktop?

1) copy xpub of desired account from "Advanced details" of the device
2) go to bip32.org and select "BIP32" key
3) paste xpub to "BIP32 Extended key" field
4) select "Custom" in "Derivation Path" combobox
5) enter "m/0/10" to "Custom Path" field to get 11th (counting from zero) external address of this account

This is not an issue of TREZOR, no coins were lost, but myTREZOR transaction history is choking up because of some nonstandard transaction was used to pour-in coins.
105  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 14, 2014, 10:46:12 PM
I think you misunderstood what I was saying.   The trezor works fine.   But I was asking if you can see your balances without physically plugging in the Trezor each time?

You have to plug it in at least once. Smiley Then while unplugging just select "Remember" and Transaction History/Receive feature will stay until you click "Forget device".
106  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 14, 2014, 10:39:14 PM
Really?   My browser (chrome), doesn't show any balances or anything without the trezor being physically plugged in...   It looks like this:

Try different USB cable. If it doesn't work, reach our support.

update
In the Mac OS 10.6.8 the new plugin-1.0.6.update does not work. Two machines on OS 10.8.5 is fine.

OS X 10.6 (32bit) is not supported by Apple anymore. Thus we don't support it either.
108  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 14, 2014, 06:31:04 PM
Hi All!

I think we have identified the problem that is occuring for OS X users where Plugin crashed on some systems. Would you mind trying new version of TREZOR plugin which is available from URL below and report back if it helped or not?

https://mytrezor.com/data/plugin/test/trezor-plugin-1.0.6.dmg

This version of plugin works only in Safari and Firefox, because Chrome still does not have a 64-bit version under OS X.

Thank you very much for your feedback!

I been seeing this for a couple of days.

It's reported, we know about the problem and we are working on it. And yes, it's caused by multisig transactions.

I been seeing this for a couple of days.

Reaching our support is usually better way how to deal with this kind of stuff.

Looking into getting one of these but they are quite expensive when I could just use a cold wallet....but its so damn cool and sexy.

Problems arise when you are about to spend your so-called cold wallet.
112  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 10, 2014, 03:12:48 PM
my understanding is that you do not enter the seed as a string of words, but rather follow prompts from the mytrezor page such as:

Exactly. Old firmware (1.2.0 and older) used 50% fake words. New firmware (1.2.1+) always asks for 24 words (making it 12 fake words for 12-word mnemonic, 6 fake words for 18-word mnemonic and no fake words for 24-word mnemonic). And we also switched the default from 12 words to 24 words, so most of the people will not see the "fake words" feature anymore.
113  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 10, 2014, 02:15:57 PM
Rethinking this I would not do it this way.  It is safer to carefully use the recovery procedure on the Trezor and then move the coins to a new seed.

Right. It's even described here: http://doc.satoshilabs.com/trezor-user/advanced_features.html#changing-your-trezor-recovery-seed
It's cumbersome, but secure. Much easier if you have 2 devices. *hint* *hint* :-)

Chromium in Ubuntu 12.04 just updated and the old plugin stopped working. I'm not switching to firefox for this, so when is the new version coming out?

When it's properly tested.
115  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 08, 2014, 10:22:59 PM
I can confirm this very odd behavior:

Are you using USB 3.0 port by any chance? Do you see the same behaviour when using USB 2.0 port?

1) A small LCD display
2) A hardware button

You are probably looking for http://bitcointrezor.com/ then. :-)
117  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 07, 2014, 12:37:31 PM
please provide some instructions on how to buy the metallic trezor for $99,

It's not possible to buy metallic TREZOR at all. And if there ever will be such possibility in the future, it will surely not be for $99.
118  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 07, 2014, 08:44:07 AM
Okay, so it was most likely a problem on my system with USB 3 drivers. Hmm, maybe I should figure out what it was, but I use USB so seldom...

Yes. Probably using USB hub downgraded the connection from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 and this started to work.
119  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 07, 2014, 08:43:00 AM
My USB 3.0 works fine with Trezor. (Gigabyte motherboard).

If you have proper Windows drivers for USB 3.0. My Windows default installation did not have it and I never bothered to install them, I just know that I have to avoid these 2 blue USB ports. (This is not TREZOR specific, but general, nor keyboard/mouse, neither USB flash sticks work in that ports) without additional drivers.
120  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 06, 2014, 06:18:48 PM
Right now my account is called "Account #1". Can this name be changed?

We are planning to release Accounts and Transactions labeling in the future. We'd like to have this feature well-thought-out, so it won't be in the following days. (Storing labels in browser is easy, synchronizing to remote location is harder, but we want to use encrypted remote storage via transparent encryption/decryption through TREZOR, so you wouldn't need any passwords and it still will be secure).
