Okay, so it was most likely a problem on my system with USB 3 drivers. Hmm, maybe I should figure out what it was, but I use USB so seldom...

On the computer that did not work did you try all the different USB ports? Just curious.
Yes, also 3-4 USB cables. Also on the laptop the same thing. Only my brothers PC was working, and his PC is nearly identical to mine. I had similar problems with one of my machines. The problem was with USB3 port, when I plugged Trezor to USB2 it worked perfectly. I tried that too. But the only USB2 I had was in my keyboard, so maybe that is why it didn't work. If this is true, you should fix the USB3 issue. Usb 3 is buggy shit. Try to find updated drivers My USB 3.0 works fine with Trezor. (Gigabyte motherboard).

If you have proper Windows drivers for USB 3.0. My Windows default installation did not have it and I never bothered to install them, I just know that I have to avoid these 2 blue USB ports. (This is not TREZOR specific, but general, nor keyboard/mouse, neither USB flash sticks work in that ports) without additional drivers.

Yes. Probably using USB hub downgraded the connection from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 and this started to work.

Yes. Probably using USB hub downgraded the connection from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 and this started to work. Trezor would do the same thing though

Thank you for answer. I think you don't know what blockchain means. It doesn't matter if someone "steals" blockchain data from you, only your private keys.

If you mean blockchain .info then no, this is in a different location, very secure. You can't even screw it up. Unless you share your secret words or lose them.
Get Trezor, no one can steal from you again.

hm, 120$
it is including worldwide shipping. Metal for $99 and I'd have taken at least 3.
It is below pure manufacturing cost of Metallic :-). Since R&D / NRE has been paid
Not yet, we're quite deep in red numbers. See this news and paragraph about our investor. Plus we're still developing new features (don't forget that we've developed myTREZOR just because other wallets were unable to integrate TREZOR on time). Actually SatoshiLabs team has 10+ people and we're developing many new features for TREZOR and surrounding bitcoin infrastructure. please provide some instructions on how to buy the metallic trezor for $99, I could not find any links on the https://www.buytrezor.com/ site, also provide some info on how to get the promo code. I been using slush a long time and found some blocks.

It's not possible to buy metallic TREZOR at all. And if there ever will be such possibility in the future, it will surely not be for $99.

Are you promising to refund him if that happens?

Academic interest in bitcoin only. Not owner, not trader, very skeptical of its longterm success.

I did some testing with the trezor today. i created 2 "accounts" with 2 diffrerent passwords. I have a suggestion, to improve plausable deniability: The problem with passwords is that people know there is (at least one) password set on the device when it's plugged into the computer. I think it would be a great feature if the inlog box doesn't show up so you can create an account that is NOT password protected. To log in, you need to press a certain combination/pattern on the trezor device. For exampel "left right right left" and then (IN EVERY CASE, not just when password is set) the log in box will appear. If this is implemented, you can even deny that you know a password can be set on the device Just a suggestion I'm very impressed with the lat-your of mytrezor and with the smooth proces of signing transactions, loggin in. The updating of the firmware was really easy! GREAT PRODUCT! edit t: second feature I would be happy to see it that you can give names to a certain account in stead of "Account#1", "Account#2" and so on... edit2: just want to mention that the recovery with wallet32 worked. I tested it with passwlord protected wallet.

Never, they stop production on them due to how hard it was to make them.

Never, they stop production on them due to how hard it was to make them. They looked so much cooler in the stainless steel. I would have been willing to pay extra for that one actually...

What about using your trezor to digitally sign arbitrary data? Does it have that functionality? I'm guessing it does since they have plans to use it for authentication but not sure.
