101  Other / Archival / Re: [WTS] 2006 WRX - Australia (Car for sale) on: July 16, 2014, 09:49:47 PM
Nice ride! In my opinion, the later years of the second generation Imprezas look the best.

What motor is in that? EJ20, EJ25?

Thanks mate - yeah agreed , I'd choose this model over any other

Its an EJ25 in here , 2.5L Turbo Charged

Man, now I really wish you weren't in AU! I thought about buying one of these for a long time before I decided to get a motorcycle. These cars are a ton of fun!

The only extra is the game... So really this is "PlayStation 4 and extra."

Just an FYI, Visiontek requires proof of purchase to honor the warranty. I've been burned by them before.

Do you have a link to the exact model of the sound card? Thanks in advance!

Absolutely beautiful bike! I got my first bike this past weekend. It can't hold a match to this bad boy though!  Shocked
107  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 7970 GPUs - 3 brands available on: June 04, 2014, 10:17:40 PM
I already have them boxed up so testing would not be preferred on my part.  I can say that none of them have ever been overclocked or had issues.  The Sapphire card has a fan that rarely makes a clicking noise, which could lead to seizing or just an unpleasant sound in the future (but currently does not).  The reference card was never used for mining, and the other two were used for only a few months.  I'm open to offers.

Any update to my PM? I'm still interested (probably the gigabyte card). Smiley

In death, a member of Project Mayhem has a name.

His name was Robert Paulson

If his trust rating isn't already a big enough red flag, this thread sure should be.  Roll Eyes

Try as you might, but I'll just head on out of here since you're never going to convince me that's a 7 second quarter mile car. It took 1,700 whp in a Nissan GTR (read: all-wheel drive) on drag slicks to hit 7.98@186mph in the quarter. Unless the pictures you've posted are from before some insane transformation, then you're just lying through your teeth. But if those are old pictures, I would love to see the finished project.  Smiley

I'll just leave this here:

I think what he's trying to say is that even if it's brand new hardware, you need a hell of a lot more than a bored 350 engine and a "three speed race trans" to run 165 in 7.8 seconds. Especially since the 900bhp McLaren P1 does 186mph in something like 17 seconds. It's a bit dubious to say this is a faster car than that...

Shame it looks like it's auto. Good luck selling though!

You wouldn't have the numbers on the back of that 290 would you? I'm wondering if it would unlock.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF Needs Ticker on: May 27, 2014, 11:25:25 PM
Either WANK or FAP could be really clever.  After all bitcoin is one big circle jerk.

I laughed harder than I should have at this...

I think something BTC related should be in the ticker though. If it's something about those losers, then I'll just be annoyed by the whole thing. They didn't really do anything special but make a readily available currency a little more readily available to investors... They didn't have anything to do with the currency itself.
117  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Powerful Buyer/Seller + Big Lender of BTC /w Cash,Wire,Dwolla MG/WU/MP & Paypal on: May 26, 2014, 02:38:39 AM
Ben, I PM'd you earlier. I need to sell $3,000 worth of BTC for a wire transfer. I use Chase bank and I will pay any and all fees associated with the transfer. We will be using escrow from a reputable member. If you're agreeable to these terms, let's do business ASAP because I'm buying a motorcycle very soon.

-Chance

Ps. Maui, if you see this, I PM'd you yesterday about selling BTC and never got a response. Not sure if my PM didn't send, or you just didn't respond.
118  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to Sell BTC on: May 25, 2014, 07:02:37 PM
Paypal is not an option anymore. Please use the pm system to contact other members instead of thread crapping.

Also, I won't be dealing with new members who have zero feedback.
119  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to Sell BTC on: May 25, 2014, 04:37:57 PM
Unlocking this topic. I'm going to see a motorcycle on Wednesday and need cash in hand.

I'm wiling to accept a domestic bank transfer (I will cover all fees) with escrow, or a personal meet up with cash in hand. Monday or Tuesday are the only options. Monday at any time, Tuesday after 3:30.

I will cover any an all fees associated with a bank transfer or escrow.

Private message if interested.

Yep. Also want to get my 0.00868094 BTC

I wouldn't mind getting my tiny bit left over either. Smiley
